By interaction of MoX(3)(THF)(3) with [Cat]X in THF, the salts [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] have been synthesized [X = I, Cat = PPh(4), NBu(4), NPr(4), (Ph(3)P)(2)N; X = Br, Cat = NBu(4), PPh(4) (Ph(3)P)(2)N]. Mixed-halide species [MoX(3)Y(THF)(2)](-) (X, Y = Cl, Br, I) have also been generated in solution and investigated by (1)H-NMR. When the tetraiodo, tetrabromo, and mixed bromoiodo salts are dissolved in CH(2)Cl(2), clean loss of all coordinated THF is observed by (1)H-NMR. On the other hand, [MoCl(4)(THF)(2)](-) loses only 1.5 THF/Mo. The salts [Cat](3)[Mo(3)X(12)] (X = Br, I) have been isolated from [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] or by running the reaction between MoX(3)(THF)(3) and [Cat]X directly in CH(2)Cl(2). The crystal structure of [PPh(4)](3)[Mo(3)I(12)] exhibits a linear face-sharing trioctahedron for the trianion: triclinic, space group P&onemacr;; a = 11.385(2), b = 12.697(3), c = 16.849(2) ?; alpha = 76.65(2), beta = 71.967(12), gamma = 84.56(2) degrees; Z = 1; 431 parameters and 3957 data with I > 2sigma(I). The metal-metal distance is 3.258(2) ?. Structural and magnetic data are consistent with the presence of a metal-metal sigma bond order of (1)/(2) and with the remaining 7 electrons being located in 7 substantially nonbonding orbitals. The ground state of the molecule is predicted to be subject to a Jahn-Teller distortion, which is experimentally apparent from the nature of the thermal ellipsoid of the central Mo atom. The [Mo(3)X(12)](3)(-) ions reacts with phosphines (PMe(3), dppe) to form products of lower nuclearity by rupture of the bridging Mo-X bonds.  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION Transition metal complexes bridged by 1, 2, 4-triazole group can produce interesting structures and specific properties[1]. Many attempts have been made to synthesize a variety of complexes with paramagnetic centers by using such ligands, and their structures and magnetic properties have been characterized[2]. However, the polynuclear Ag(I) complexes bridged by 1, 2, 4-triazole have been poorly studied[3]. Recently, we have prepared a series of silver(I) triazole complex…  相似文献

The new mercury vanadium phosphate hydrate Hg(4)(-)(x)()O(1)(-)(y)()(VO)(PO(4))(2).H(2)O has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. X-ray investigations led to orthorhombic symmetry, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) (No. 19), a = 6.3632(2) A, b = 12.4155(5) A, c = 14.2292(6) A, Z = 4. The crystal structure was solved and refined from single-crystal diffractometer data to residuals R[F(2) > 2sigmaF(2)] = 0.039, R(w)(F(2)) = 0.055. The VPO framework consists of infinite one-dimensional [VO(PO(4))(2)]( infinity ) chains with corner-connected VO(6) octahedra and PO(4) tetrahedra. The chains run along the [100] direction and are held together by the unprecedented tetrahedral cationic units [Hg(4)(-)(x)()O(1)(-)(y)()](4+). Presence of Hg-Hg bonding contacts is proved from theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The geometric structure of the confacial bioctahedral [Re(2)Cl(9)](z)()(-) anion has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction in two distinct oxidation states, Re(IV)(2) and Re(III)Re(IV). [Bu(4)N][Re(2)Cl(9)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/m [a/? = 10.6363(3), b/? = 11.420(1), c/? = 13.612(1), beta/deg = 111.18(1), Z = 2], while [Et(4)N](2)[Re(2)Cl(9)] crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma [a/? = 15.82(1), b/? = 8.55(2), c/? = 22.52(3), Z = 4]. The Re-Re separation contracts from 2.704(1) ? in [Bu(4)N][Re(2)Cl(9)] to 2.473(4) ? in [Et(4)N](2)[Re(2)Cl(9)] (or, equivalently, from 2.725 to 2.481 ? after standard corrections for thermal motions), while the formal metal-metal bond order falls from 3.0 to 2.5. SCF-Xalpha-SW molecular orbital calculations show that, despite the {d(3)d(3)} configuration, the single sigma bond in [Re(2)Cl(9)](-) dominates the observed structural properties. For [Re(2)Cl(9)](2)(-), the 0.23 ? contraction in Re-Re is attributed jointly to radial expansion of the Re 5d orbitals and to diminished metal-metal electrostatic repulsion, which act in concert to make both sigma and delta(pi) bonding more important in the reduced species. Computed transition energies and oscillator strengths for the two structurally defined anions permit rational analysis of their ultraviolet spectra, which involve both sigma --> sigma and halide-to-metal change-transfer absorptions. The intense sigma --> sigma band progresses from 31 000 cm(-)(1) in [Re(2)Cl(9)](-) to 36 400 cm(-)(1) in [Re(2)Cl(9)](2)(-), according to the present assignments. For electrogenerated, highly reactive [Re(2)Cl(9)](3)(-) (where conventional X-ray structural information is unlikely to become available), the dominant absorption band advances to 40 000 cm(-)(1), suggesting further strengthening of the metal-metal sigma bond in the Re(III)(2) species.  相似文献

The reactions of the unsymmetrical, coordinatively unsaturated dirhenium(II) complexes [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)]Y (XylNC = 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide; Y = O(3)SCF(3) (3a), PF(6) (3b)) with XylNC afford at least three isomeric forms of the complex cation [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+). Two forms have very similar bis(&mgr;-halo)-bridged edge-sharing bioctahedral structures of the type [(CO)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(2)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)Re(CNXyl)(2)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (4a/4a'), PF(6) (4b/4b')), while the third is an open bioctahedron [(XylNC)(2)BrRe(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(2)(CO)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (5a), PF(6) (5b)). While the analogous chloro complex cation [Re(2)Cl(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+) was previously shown to exist in three isomeric forms, only one of these has been found to be structurally similar to the bromo complexes (i.e. the isomer analogous to 5a and 5b). The reaction of 3a with CO gives the salt [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(2)(CNXyl)]O(3)SCF(3) (7), in which the edge-sharing bioctahedral cation [(XylNC)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(&mgr;-CO)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(CO)](+) has an all-cis arrangement of pi-acceptor ligands. The Re-Re distances in the structures of 4b', 5a, and 7 are 3.0456(8), 2.3792(7), and 2.5853(13) ?, respectively, and accord with formal Re-Re bond orders of 1, 3, and 2, respectively. Single crystals of disilver(I) monofluorophosphate(V), Ag2PO3F (1), were obtained by slow evaporation of a diluted aqueous Ag2PO3F solution. Compound 1 adopts a new structure type and crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with eight formula units and lattice parameters of a = 9.2456(8) A, b = 5.5854(5) A, c = 14.7840(13) A, and beta = 90.178(2) degrees. The crystal structure of 1 [R(F2 > 2sigma(F2) = 0.0268, wR(F2 all) = 0.0665] is composed of three crystallographically independent Ag+ cations and PO3F2- anions as single building units. The oxygen environment around each of the Ag+ cations is different, with one Ag+ in distorted octahedral (d(Ag-O) = 2.553 A), one in nearly rectangular (d(Ag-O) = 2.445 A), and one in distorted tetrahedral (d(Ag-O) = 2.399 A) coordination. Additional Ag-F contacts to more remote F atoms located at distances >2.80 A augment the coordination polyhedra for the two latter Ag+ cations. The monofluorophosphate anion deviates slightly from C3v symmetry and exhibits the characteristic differences in bond lengths, with a mean of 1.510 A for the P-O bonds and one considerably longer P-F bond of 1.575(2) A. Compound 1 was further characterized by vibrational spectroscopy (Raman and IR) and solid-state 19F, 31P, and 109Ag MAS NMR spectroscopy. The value for the isotropic one-bond P-F coupling constant in 1 is 1JPF = -1045 Hz. Thermal analysis (TG, DSC) revealed a reversible phase transition at 308 degrees C, which is very close to the decomposition range of 1. Under release of POF3, Ag4P2O7 and Ag3PO4 are the thermal decomposition products at temperatures above 450 degrees C.  相似文献

Dimeric rhodium(I) bis(carbonyl) chloride, [Rh(CO)(2)(mu-Cl)](2), is found to be a useful and convenient starting material for the syntheses of new cationic carbonyl complexes of both rhodium(I) and rhodium(III). Its reaction with the Lewis acids AlCl(3) or GaCl(3) produces in a CO atmosphere at room temperature the salts [Rh(CO)(4)][M(2)Cl(7)] (M = Al, Ga), which are characterized by Raman spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data for [Rh(CO)(4)][Al(2)Cl(7)]: triclinic, space group Ponemacr; (No. 2); a = 9.705(3), b = 9.800(2), c = 10.268(2) A; alpha = 76.52(2), beta = 76.05(2), gamma = 66.15(2) degrees; V = 856.7(5) A(3); Z = 2; T = 293 K; R(1) [I > 2sigma(I)] = 0.0524, wR(2) = 0.1586. Crystal data for [Rh(CO)(4)][Ga(2)Cl(7)]: triclinic, space group Ponemacr; (No. 2); a = 9.649(1), b = 9.624(1), c = 10.133(1) A; alpha = 77.38(1), beta = 76.13(1), gamma = 65.61(1) degrees; V = 824.4(2) A(3); Z = 2; T = 143 K; R(1) [I > 2sigma(I)] = 0.0358, wR(2) = 0.0792. Structural parameters for the square planar cation [Rh(CO)(4)](+) are compared to those of isoelectronic [Pd(CO)(4)](2+) and of [Pt(CO)(4)](2+). Dissolution of [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2) in HSO(3)F in a CO atmosphere allows formation of [Rh(CO)(4)](+)((solv)). Oxidation of [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2) by S(2)O(6)F(2) in HSO(3)F results in the formation of ClOSO(2)F and two seemingly oligomeric Rh(III) carbonyl fluorosulfato intermediates, which are easily reduced by CO addition to [Rh(CO)(4)](+)((solv)). Controlled oxidation of this solution with S(2)O(6)F(2) produces fac-Rh(CO)(3)(SO(3)F)(3) in about 95% yield. This Rh(III) complex can be reduced by CO at 25 degrees C in anhydrous HF to give [Rh(CO)(4)](+)((solv)); addition of SbF(5) at -40 degrees C to the resulting solution allows isolation of [Rh(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)], which is found to have a highly symmetrical (D(4)(h)()) [Sb(2)F(11)](-) anion. Oxidation of [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2) in anhydrous HF by F(2), followed in a second step by carbonylation in the presence of SbF(5), is found to be a simple, straightforward route to pure [Rh(CO)(5)Cl][Sb(2)F(11)](2), which has previously been structurally characterized by us. All new complexes are characterized by vibrational and NMR spectroscopy. Assignment of the vibrational spectra and interpretation of the structural data are supported by DFT calculations.  相似文献

Reaction of AgBF(4), KNH(2), K(2)Se, Se, and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](4)[Ag(4)(Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2))(4)] (1). In the unit cell of 1 there are four [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](+) units and a tetrahedral Ag(4) anionic core coordinated in mu(1)-Se, mu(2)-Se fashion by each of four mns ligands (mns = maleonitrilediselenolate, [Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2)(-)). Reaction of AgNO(3), Na(2)(mnt) (mnt = maleonitriledithiolate, [S(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2)(-)), and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [Na([2.2.2]-cryptand)](4)[Ag(4)(mnt)(4)].0.33MeCN (2). The Ag(4) anion of 2 is analogous to that in 1. Reaction of AgNO(3), Na(2)(mnt), and [NBu(4)]Br in acetonitrile yields [NBu(4)](4)[Ag(4)(mnt)(4)] (3). The anion of 3 also comprises an Ag(4) core coordinated by four mnt ligands, but the Ag(4) core is diamond-shaped rather than tetrahedral. Reaction of [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mns)(Se(6))] with KNH(2) and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mns)(2)].2MeCN (4). The anion of 4 comprises an Ag center coordinated by two mns ligands in a tetrahedral arrangement. Reaction of AgNO(3), 2 equiv of Na(2)(mnt), and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [Na([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mnt)(2)] (5). The anion of 5 is analogous to that of 4. Electronic absorption and infrared spectra of each complex show behavior characteristic of metal-maleonitriledichalcogenates. An example of a direct axial interaction of a platinum(II) atom with a Mo(2) core through a uniquely designed tridentate ligand 6-(diphenylphosphino)-2-pyridonate (abbreviated as pyphos) is described. Treatment of PtX(2)(pyphosH)(2) (2a, X = Cl; 2b, X = Br; 2c, X = I) with a 1:1 mixture of Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(4) and [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(6)](2+) (3a) in dichloromethane afforded the linear trinuclear complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)](2) (4a, X = Cl; 4b, X = Br; 4c, X = I). The reaction of [Mo(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(4)](2+) (3b) with 2a-c in dichloromethane afforded the corresponding pivalato complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)](2) (5a, X = Cl; 5b, X = Br; 5c, X = I), whose bonding nature is discussed on the basis of the data from Raman and electronic spectra as well as cyclic voltammograms. Synchrotron radiation X-ray powder diffraction data (SPDD) have been obtained for Ag[AgF4]2, Au[AuF4]2, Ag[AuF4], and Ag[AuF6]. Ag[AgF4]2 and Au[AuF4]2 are isostructural with Ag[AuF4]2, space group (SG) P2(1)/n, Z = 2, with the following: for Ag[AgF4]2 a = 5.04664(8), b = 11.0542(2), c = 5.44914(9) A, beta = 97.170(2) degrees; for Au[AuF4]2 a = 5.203(2), b = 11.186(3), c = 5.531(2) A, beta = 90.55(2) degrees. The structure of Ag[AgF4]2 was refined successfully (SPDD) applying the Rietveld method, yielding the following interatomic distances (A): AgII-F = 2.056(12), 2.200(13), 2.558(13); AgIII-F = two at 1.846(12), others = 1.887(12), 1.909(13), 2.786-(12), 2.796(12), 2.855(12). AgAuF4, like other AA'F4 salts (A = Na-Rb; A' = Ag, Au), crystallizes in the KBrF4 structure type, SG I4/mcm (140), Z = 4 with a = 5.79109(6), c = 10.81676(7) A. SPDD gave (in A) four AuIII-F = 1.89(1) and eight AgI-F = 2.577(7). SPDD for AgAuF6 confirmed that it has the LiSbF6 structure, SG R3, Z = 3, with a = 5.2840(2), c = 15.0451(6) A.  相似文献

Compounds adopting two new structure types containing discrete lanthanide clusters have been found, CsR(R6CoI12)2 (R = Gd or Er) and (CeI)0.26(Ce6MnI9)2. CsEr(Er6CoI12)2 and CsGd(Gd6CoI12)2 were synthesized in reactions of CsI, RI3, CoI2, and R metals (3:19:6:23) heated to 750 degrees C for 500 h followed by slow cooling (0.1 degrees C/min). The X-ray crystal structure of CsEr(Er6CoI12)2 was solved in the Pa3 space group with a = 18.063(2) A at 250 K (Z = 4, R1 [I > 2sigma(I)] = 0.0459). (CeI)0.26(Ce6MnI9) was synthesized by combining KI, CeI3, MnI2, and Ce metal and heating to 850 degrees C for 500 h. The single-crystal X-ray structure for (CeI)0.26(Ce6MnI9)2 was solved in the trigonal, P3 (147) space group with lattice parameters of a = 11.695(1) A and c = 10.8591(2) A (Z = 2, R1 [I > 2sigma(I)] = 0.0895). Elemental analyses (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS)) were performed and show the absence of potassium in the structure. A disorder model was refined for the atoms in the large cavity. The magnetic susceptibility data for CsGd(Gd6CoI12)2 is consistent with strong intracluster ferromagnetic coupling, but intercluster antiferromagnetic coupling suppresses the susceptibility below 70 K.  相似文献

A novel vanadium(IV) phosphite, (VO)(4)(4,4'-bpy)(2)(HPO(3))(4), was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system with the space group C2/c and cell parameters a = 35.970(3) A, b = 15.9400(13) A, c = 10.7681(7) A, beta = 101.073(4) degrees, and Z = 8 with R(1) = 0.0482. The structure of the compound consists of trigonal bipyramidal [VO(4)N] and pseudopyramidal [HPO(3)] blocks, which are connected by corner-sharing, to form vanadium phosphite layers in the bc plane. These layers are further linked through 4,4'-bpy pillars, generating a 3D framework. Thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic susceptibility data for this compound are given.  相似文献

The compounds Cp2Ln[N(QPPh2)2] (Ln = La (1), Gd (2), Er (3), or Yb (4) for Q = Se, Ln = Yb (5) for Q = S) have been synthesized from the corresponding rare-earth tris(cyclopentadienyl) compound and H[N(QPPh2)2]. The structures of compounds 1, 2, 3, and 5, as determined by X-ray crystallography, consist of a Cp2Ln fragment, coordinated eta 3 through two chalcogen atoms and an N atom of the imidodiphosphinochalcogenido ligand [N(QPPh2)2]-. In compound 4, the Cp2Yb moiety is coordinated eta 2 through the two Se atoms of the [N(SePPh2)2]-ligand. 31P and 77Se (for 1) NMR spectroscopies lend insight into the solution nature of these species. The 1/2V2O5-H2C2O4/H3PO4/NH4OH system was investigated using hydrothermal techniques. Four new phases, (NH4)VOPO(4).1.5H2O (1), (NH4)0.5VOPO(4).1.5H2O (2), (NH4)2[VO(H2O)3]2[VO(H2O)][VO(PO4)2]2.3H2O (3), and (NH4)2[VO(HPO4)]2(C2O4).H2O (4), have been prepared and structurally characterized. Compounds 1 and 2 have layered structures closely related to VOPO(4).2H2O and A0.5VOPO4.yH2O (A = mono- or divalent metals), whereas 3 has a 3D open-framework structure. Compound 4 has a layered structure and contains both oxalate and phosphate anions coordinated to vanadium cations. 1 INTRODUCTION Great attention has currently been paid to com-pounds formed by the reaction between phosphineand metal alkynyl building blocks[1]. The ligand NP3contains one tertiary nitrogen atom as well as threephosphorous atoms and bonds to the metal ions as atetradentate ligand, affording tetrahedral[2] or triangle-bipyrimidal geometry[3, . In other coordination ca- 4]ses, one[5, , two[7], three P donors[8, 6] …  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION Nitronyl nitroxide radicals (NITR), stable organic radicals, have played an important role in the design and synthesis of molecular magnetic materials[1, 2]. However, nitronyl nitroxide radicals are poor elec- tron-donor ligands and their coordination ability is limited. Recently, it has led to the development of functionalized nitronyl nitroxide radicals in which a strong coligand is incorporated. Due to the strong coordinate ability of nitrogen atom from pryidinyl ring,…  相似文献

The reaction of an S-bridged Co2(III)Ag3(I) pentanuclear complex, [Ag3[Co(aet)3]2][BF4]3 (aet = NH2CH2CH2S-), with paraformaldehyde in basic acetonitrile, followed by adding aqueous ammonia, produced an aza-capped Co2(III)-Ag3(I) complex, [Ag3[Co(L)]2]3+ ([1]3+) (L = N(CH2NHCH2CH2S-)3). The crystal structure of [1]3+ was determined by X-ray crystallography. [1][PF6]3 x H2O, empirical formula C18H44Ag3Co2F18N8OP3S6, crystallizes in the tetragonal space group 142m with a = 13.012(1) A, c = 24.707(2) A, and Z = 4. In [1]3+ the two aza-capped [Co(L)] units are linked by three Ag(I) atoms, such that the two Co(III) atoms are encapsulated in a macrobicyclic metallocage, [Ag3(I)(L)2]3-. [1]3+ was converted to an aza-capped Co4(III)Zn4(II) octanuclear complex, [Zn4O[Co(L)]4]6+ ([2]6+), by reaction with I- in the presence of Zn2+ and ZnO in water. The crystal structure of [2]6+ was also determined by X-ray crystallography. [2][PF6]6 x 8H2O, empirical formula C36H100Co4F36N16O9P6S12Zn4, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1/n) with a = 14.33(7) A, b = 25.67(10) A, c = 24.83(6) A, beta = 101.3(3) degrees , and Z = 4. In [2]6+ each of four [Co(L)] units is bound to each trigonal Zn3(II) face of the tetrahedral [Zn4(II)O]6+ core, such that each Co(III) atom is encapsulated in a macrobicyclic [Zn4(II)O(L)] fragment. Treatment of [2]6+ with a basic aqueous solution resulted in a cleavage of the Zn-S bonds to produce an aza-capped Co(III) mononuclear complex, [Co(L)] ([3]), from which [1]3+ is readily reproduced by the reaction with Ag+ in water. All the reactions were found to proceed with retention of the absolute configuration (delta or lambda) of the Co(III) chiral centers; deltadelta-[1]3+, deltadeltadeltadelta-[2]6+, and A-[3] were derived from deltadelta-[Ag3[Co(aet)3]2]3+. The contributions to circular dichroism (CD) from the triple helicity in [1]3+, besides from the asymmetric N and S donor atoms and the Co(III) chiral centers in [1]3+ and [2]6+, were estimated by comparing the CD spectra of deltadelta-[1]3+, deltadeltadeltadelta-[2]6+, and delta-[3].  相似文献
