边界条件中带有谱参数的不连续Sturm-Liouville算子的特征值问题

本文研究了具有转移条件且边界条件含特征参数的Sturm-Liouville算子L的特征值问题.首先,使用微分算子谱分析经典的方法,得到λ是该边值问题的特征值的充要条件,证明了该边值问题最多有可数个实的特征值、没有有限值的聚点.其次,通过渐近估计证得,所研究的Sturm-Liouville算子L有可数个离散的特征值且下方有界.     

一类四阶三点边值问题三个正解的存在性

利用Avery-Henderson不动点定理得到了一类具p-Laplace算子的四阶三点边值问题在一定条件下至少三个正解的存在性,丰富和推广了相关已有文献的研究结果.     

带广义p-Laplace算子的常微分方程两点奇异边值问题正解的存在性

研究含有比p-Laplace算子更广泛的一类算子的非线性奇异微分方程两点边值问题,问题中的非线性项依赖于一阶导数u'(t)和v'(t),讨论了正解的存在性对两个参数的连续依赖性.     

含有广义p-Laplace算子的非线性边值问题解的存在性的研究

该文研究了两类含有广义p-Laplace算子的非线性边值问题. 首先, 利用变分不等式解的存在性的结果, 证明了含有广义p-Laplace算子的非线性Dirichlet边值问题解的存在性. 然后, 提出了一类含有广义p-Laplace算子的非线性Neumann边值问题. 通过深入挖掘这两类非线性边值问题间的关系, 借助于极大单调算子值域的一个扰动结果, 证明了含有广义p-Laplace算子的非线性Neumann边值问题解的存在性. 文中采用了一些新的证明技巧,推广和补充了作者以往的一些研究工作.

Whose deletion does not affect your payoff? The difference between the Shapley value, the egalitarian value, the solidarity value, and the Banzhaf value

This study provides a unified axiomatic characterization method of one-point solutions for cooperative games with transferable utilities. Any one-point solution that satisfies efficiency, the balanced cycle contributions property (BCC), and the axioms related to invariance under a player deletion is characterized as a corollary of our general result. BCC is a weaker requirement than the well-known balanced contributions property. Any one-point solution that is both symmetric and linear satisfies BCC. The invariance axioms necessitate that the deletion of a specific player from games does not affect the other players’ payoffs, and this deletion is different with respect to solutions. As corollaries of the above characterization result, we are able to characterize the well-known one-point solutions, the Shapley, egalitarian, and solidarity values, in a unified manner. We also studied characterizations of an inefficient one-point solution, the Banzhaf value that is a well-known alternative to the Shapley value.     

On some explicit evaluations of multiple zeta-star values

In this paper, we give some explicit evaluations of multiple zeta-star values which are rational multiple of powers of π².     

Values for Interior Operator Games

The aim of this paper is to study a new class of cooperative games called interior operator games. These games are additive games restricted by antimatroids. We consider several types of cooperative games as peer group games, big boss games, clan games and information market games and show that all of them are interior operator games. Next, we analyze the properties of these games and compute the Shapley, Banzhaf and Tijs values.     

Generalization of Backward Differentiation Formulas for Parallel Computers

We analyze an extension of backward differentiation formulas, used as boundary value methods, that generates a class of methods with nice stability and convergence properties. These methods are obtained starting from the boundary value GBDFs class, and are in the class of EBDF-type methods. We discuss different ways of using these linear multistep formulas in order to have efficient parallel implementations. Numerical experiments show their effectiveness.

Adaptive allocation rules for hypergraph games

Cooperative games with hypergraph structure, or hypergraph games, assume that all players in a hyperlink or conference have to be present before communication. Contrary to this situation, assuming that whenever players leave a conference the remaining players can still communicate with each other, adaptive allocation rules for hypergraph games, being alternative extensions of the Myerson value and the position value respectively, are introduced in this paper. Axiomatic characterizations are also provided by considering players' absence.     

EXPLORING THE PROPERTIES OF QUASI-OPTION VALUE IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL WARMING

This paper demonstrates the principles of sequential choice. A numerical simulation model based on the theoretical framework is utilized to illustrate the economics of climate change. The model is used to relate the value of information and quasi-option value in situations where protective measures are nonbinary.
