The β- decaying γ scheme of the neutron-rich nuclide 208Hg has been determined for the first time.The 208 Hg was produced in multi-nucleon transfer reaction taking place in the bombardment of 18O-beam on natural lead target,and the Hg-element products were sepaated with a gas-thermochromatography technique.The γ-ray single and γ-γ coincident spectra were measured.A partial 208 Hg γ scheme was proposed.Twenty-six γ rays were assigned to follow the β- decay of 208Hg.At the same time,a new level structure of the daughter nucleus 208 T1 was constructed,in which three new levels at 1.725MeV.1.652MeV,and 1.362MeV were affirmed.The experimental 208Tl level structure was compared with a shell-model calculation.  相似文献

Excited states in ^142pm are investigated via the ^12sTe(^19F, 5n)^142pm reaction at beam energies from 75 to 95 MeV by using techniques of in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy. Temperature dependence of nuclear decays in metallic environments is a controversial issue. We measured the temperature dependence of the β^+-decay half-life of ^22Na implanted into the metal host of palladium. It is found that the β^+-decay half-life of ^22Na in the metal Pd cooled to T = 15 K is shorter by 0.46(14)% than that at room temperature. The result is consistent in sign with, but dearly smaller than, the estimated one by the Debye model.  相似文献

For the 9/2 [514] bands in light odd-A Re isotopes, the energy signature splitting and its relation with the signature dependence of M1 transition matrix elements are investigated in connection with the deviation of nuclear shape from axial symmetry. By comparing the energy signature splittings and relative magnetic transition rates between the experimental values and the theoretical calculations assuming axially symmetric shapes, it is found that discrepancies increase with the decreasing neutron number. These discrepancies strongly suggest an appreciable negative γ deformation for the very neutron-deficient odd-A Re isotopes.  相似文献

The β-delayed proton decay of 147Er is studied experimentally using the 58 Ni+92Mo reaction at a beam energy of 383 MeV. Based on a He-jet apparatus coupled with a tape transport system, the β-delayed proton radioactivities both from the vδl/2 ground state and the vh11/2 isomer in 147 Er are identified by proton-7 coincidence measurements. By analyzing the time distribution of the 4+ → 2+-γ transition in the grand-daughter nucleus 146Dy, a half-life of 1.6 ± 0.2s is determined for the Vh11/2 isomer in 147 Er. The half-life for the ground state of 147Er is estimated to be 3.2±1.2 s.  相似文献

Based on shell model of nuclei, the influence of a high magnetic field on β^+ decay in the crusts of accreting neutron stars is analyzed. The magnetic field effect on 54 Mn is discussed. The results show that a weak magnetic field makes little effect on β^+ decay but a strong magnetic field (B 〉 10^11 G) improves β^+ decay rates obviously. The conclusion derived will benefit to develop further research on nuclear astrophysics in the future.  相似文献

Theoretical calculations have been performed for nucleus ^179Pt in the particle-triaxial-rotor model with variable moment of inertia. The obtained energy spectrum agrees with the experimental data quite well. The calculated results indicate that the bands 1/2^- and 7/2^ are triaxial deformation bands and originate mainly from the v[521]1/2^- and v[633]7/2^ configurations respectively.  相似文献

High spin states of the odd proton-nucleus ^169Ta have been populated in the reaction ^155Gd(^19F,5n) with beam energies of 97MeV,Rotational band based on d3/2 proton 1/2[411]Nilsson state has been pushed up to 39/2^ in the α=1/2 decay sequence.Its signature partner,the α=-1/2 decay sequence with four link transitions has been established and 1/2[411] band in ^169Ta was reassigned to be a semi-decoupled band.The systematics of the signature splitting in the K=1/2 bands in the rear-earth region and the accidental degeneracy conclusion given by the angular projection shell model were discussed.  相似文献
