Investigation of thermal properties of La0.7-xxCa0.3MnO3 according to the density of the Lanthanum Deficiency x using the Photothermal Deflexion Technique (PTD). We show in this work that both the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity increases with x. and heat transfer is exclusively assured by phonon. From the thermal diffusivity value, one can obtain an order of magnitude of the inter-atomic distance.  相似文献

Linear magnetic defects (LMDs), i.e. linear singularities of the fields of magnetic order parameters in ferromagnets (FMs) and antiferromagnets (AFMs) are investigated. It is shown that disclinations in collinear AFM and in cubic FM generate LMDs. These and similar crystallomagnetic singularities are considered from the point of view of the topological theory of defects in ordered media.  相似文献

Electron and nuclear spins have been employed in many of the early demonstrations of quantum technology. However, applications in real world quantum technology are limited by the difficulty of measuring single spins. Here we show that it is possible to rapidly and robustly amplify a spin state using a lattice of ancillary spins. The model we employ corresponds to an extremely simple experimental system: a homogenous Ising-coupled spin lattice in one, two, or three dimensions, driven by a continuous microwave field. We establish that the process can operate at finite temperature (imperfect initial polarization) and under the effects of various forms of decoherence.  相似文献

The recent discovery of a double-pulsar PSR J0737-3039A/B provides an opportunity of unequivocally observing, for the first time, spin effects in general relativity. Existing efforts involve detection of the precession of the spinning body itself. However, for a close binary system, spin effects on the orbit may also be discernible. Not only do they add to the advance of the periastron (by an amount which is small compared to the conventional contribution) but they also give rise to a precession of the orbit about the spin direction. The measurement of such an effect would also give information on the moment of inertia of pulsars.  相似文献

A theoretical investigation of the sensitivity of an optical liquid sensor, based on photonic crystal waveguide, is carried out. The sensing principle is based on the variation of the effective index of the waveguide induced by analyte refractive index change. The sensor modelling is carried out by using the 3D finite element method. The influence of geometrical parameters on the sensor sensitivity has been investigated. The results show that the sensitivity can be optimized by an appropriate choice of the geometrical parameters and a sensitivity superior to 20 has been achieved, near the cut-off in the slow light region, which is several times higher than that can be achieved with conventional waveguides.  相似文献

Using the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method, we study the quantum coherence in one‐dimensional disordered spin chains and Fermi systems. We consider in detail spinless fermions on a ring, and compare the influence of several kinds of impurities in a gapless and a dimerized, gapped system. In the translation‐invariant system a so‐called site‐impurity, which can be realized by a local potential or a modification of one link, increases for repulsive interaction, and decreases for attractive interaction, upon renormalization. The weakening of two neighbouring bonds, which is a realization of a so‐called bond‐impurity, on the other hand, is healed for repulsive interaction, but enhanced for intermediate attractive interactions. This leads to a strong suppression of the quantum coherence measured by the phase sensitivity, but not to localization. Adding a local distortion to a dimerized system, we find that even the presence of a single site‐impurity increases the metallic region found in the dimerized model. For a strong dimerization and a high barrier, an additional sharp maximum, is seen in the phase sensitivity as a function of interaction, already for systems with about 100 sites. A bond‐impurity in the dimerized system also opens a small metallic window in the otherwise isolating regime.  相似文献

针对大于500℃的高温环境,提出了一种可用于高温温度测量的高温光子晶体光纤(PCF)温度传感器。在光子晶体光纤末端熔接一段纯石英无芯光纤构成外腔式光纤法珀腔(EFPI)结构。纯石英无芯光纤在高温下的热膨胀和热光效应使得EFPI的光学腔长发生变化。结合光纤白光干涉测量技术,通过测量EFPI的腔长得到被测温度。在不同温度环境下,对腔长为175μm的EFPI光纤温度传感器进行连续测量。测量结果显示,设计的高温光纤温度传感器在27~1100℃范围内,腔长-温度三阶拟合精度达到99.95%,腔长-温度灵敏度为(0.851+0.0023T-0.000000957T2)nm/℃,其中在1100℃时,温度测量分辨率为0.225℃。  相似文献

Surface defects are commonly believed to be fundamentally important to gas-sensor performance. We examine the effect of gas coverage and ethanol orientation on its adsorption on the stoichiometric and oxygen deficient (101(-)0) nanowire surface. Our density functional theory calculations show that ethanol adsorbs in multiple stable configurations at coverages between 1/4 and 1 ML, highlighting the ability of ZnO to detect ethanol. Ethanol prefers to bind to a surface Zn via the adsorbate oxygen atom and, if a surface oxygen atom is in close proximity, the molecule is further stabilized by formation of a hydrogen bond between the hydrogen of the hydroxyl group and the surface oxygen. Two primary adsorption configurations were identified and have different binding strengths that could be distinguished experimentally by the magnitude of their OH stretching frequency. Our findings show that ethanol adsorbed on the oxygen deficient ZnO(101(-)0) surface has a reduced binding strength. This is due to either the lack of a hydrogen bond (due to a deficiency in surface oxygen) or to surface reconstruction that occurs on the defect surface that weakens the hydrogen bond interaction. This reduced binding on the oxygen deficient surface is in contrast to the defect enhanced gas-sensor interaction for other gases. Despite this difference, ethanol still acts as a reducing gas, donating electrons to the surface and decreasing the band gap. We show that multiple adsorbed ethanol molecules prefer to be orientated parallel to each other to facilitate the hydrogen bonding to the defect-free surface for enhanced interaction.  相似文献

Polarization-maintaining fiber amplifier using ytterbium-doped single-mode fiber (SMF) is proposed. A 45° Faraday rotator mirror (FRM) and a polarization independent fiber loop circulator (FLC) with polarization-maintaining fiber (PMF) pigtails are used to realize double-pass amplification and birefringence self-compensation. Arbitrary state of polarization (SOP) such as the linear polarization and elliptical polarization can be maintained. Polarization-maintaining amplification of phase modulated pulse with this amplifier is experimentally demonstrated while introducing little intensity modulation itself.  相似文献

The tetragonal ThMn12-type, single crystalline DyFe10CoTi sample has been investigated by torque and magnetization measurements and observation of domain structure at various temperatures between 10–300 K and in magnetic field from B=0 to 0.15 T. These examinations showed that the magnetic structure of DyFe10CoTi changes from “easy axis” (c-axis) type to conical at 225 K and to “easy plane” (ab plane) type at 100 K.  相似文献

通过助溶剂熔融法并在氩气气氛炉中成功生长出高质量大尺寸的CaTi2O4的单晶.X射线衍射实验及能量损失谱EDS证实,制备的CaTi2O4单晶晶胞参数a=9.781?,b=9.966?,c=3.148?,所有样品均为单相,且符合化学计量比,样品高纯.通过直流磁化率的测量,首次给出了晶体的Van-Vleck顺磁因子为6.85×10-5cm3/mol,Cure-Weiss温度为-0.44 K,呈弱反铁磁性.同时,通过单晶各向磁化率的测量,进一步确认了CaTi2O4晶体中一维有序Ti-Ti反铁磁dimer链的形成,并明确了其方向. 关键词: 2O4')" href="#">CaTi2O4 磁化率 各向异性 反铁磁二聚化  相似文献

We propose a scalable and practical implementation of spin amplification which does not require individual addressing nor a specially tailored spin network. We have demonstrated a gain of 140 in a solid-state nuclear spin system of which the spin polarization has been increased to 0.12 using dynamic nuclear polarization with photoexcited triplet electron spins. Spin amplification scalable to a higher gain opens the door to the single spin measurement for a readout of quantum computers as well as practical applications of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to infinitesimal samples which have been concealed by thermal noise.  相似文献

Vortex-type singular solutions with a topological charge of the elliptic sine-Gordon equation have been studied. One- and two-dimensional vortex lattices on a homogeneous and periodic background are constructed in the explicit form using the Bäcklund transformation. The interaction of vortices is investigated and finite energy configurations are found. On the basis of the obtained results new topological defects in incommensurate magnetic and crystal structures are predicted and described. The interaction of vortex magnetic structures with nonlinear spin waves is considered.  相似文献

稀磁半导体可能同时利用载流子的自旋和电荷自由度构造将磁、电集于一体的半导体器件.尤其是铁磁半导体材料的出现带动了半导体自旋电子学的发展.室温铁磁半导体材料的制备,半导体材料中有效的自旋注入,以及自旋在半导体结构中输运和操作已成为目前半导体自旋电子学领域中的热门课题.稀磁半导体呈现出强烈的自旋相关的光学性质和输运性质,这些效应为人们制备半导体自旋电子学器件提供了物理基础.  相似文献
