We have searched for CP violation in the decays D(0)→K(S)(0)P(0) where P(0) denotes a neutral pseudoscalar meson that is either a π(0), η, or η' using KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 791 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector. No evidence of significant CP violation is observed. We report the most precise CP asymmetry measurement in the decay D(0)→K(S)(0)π(0) to date: A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)π(0))=(-0.28±0.19±0.10)%. We also report the first measurements of CP asymmetries in the decays D(0)→K(S)(0)η and D(0)→K(S)(0)η': A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)η)=(+0.54±0.51±0.16)% and A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)η')=(+0.98±0.67±0.14)%, respectively. 相似文献

I show that the CP-violating asymmetry in K0 vs K-0→π+π-π0 decays differs from that in KL→π+π-,KL→π0π0 or the semileptonic KL transitions,if there exists CPT violation in K0-K-0 mixing.A delicate measurement of this difference at a super flavor factory(e.g.,the φ factory)will provide us with a robust test of CPT symmetry in the neutral kaon system. 相似文献

The ? → π+π?γγ and ? → π+π?η decays are sought in the experimental data obtained with the CMD-2 detector in the region of the ?-meson resonance. Upper limits ?(? → ππγγ)< 1.2 × 10?4 and ?(? → ππη) < 6.1 × 10?5 (both at a C.L. of 90%) are determined for the branching ratios of these decays. 相似文献

A search for φ radiative decays has been performed using a data sample of about 2.0 million φ decays collected by the CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M collider in Novosibirsk. From the selected e+e−→π+π−γ events the following results were obtained:B(φ→f0(980)γ)<1×10−4 for destructive andB(φ→f0(980)γ)<7×10−4 for constructive interference with the Bremsstrahlung process respectively,B(φ→γ→π+π−γ)<3×10−5 for Eγ>20 MeV,B(φ→ργ)<7×10−4. From the selected e+e−→μ+μ−γ eventsB(φ→μ+μ−γ)=(2.3±1.0)×10−5 has been obtained for Eγ>20 MeV. The upper limit on the P,CP-violating decay η→π+π− has also been placed:B(η→π+π−)<9×10−4. All upper limits are at 90% C.L. 相似文献

A search has been performed for B(s)(0) → μ+ μ- and B(0) → μ+ μ- decays using 7 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. The observed number of B(0) candidates is consistent with background-only expectations and yields an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(B(0) → μ+ μ-) < 6.0 × 10(-9) at 95% confidence level. We observe an excess of B(s)(0) candidates. The probability that the background processes alone could produce such an excess or larger is 0.27%. The probability that the combination of background and the expected standard model rate of B(s)(0) → μ+ μ- could produce such an excess or larger is 1.9%. These data are used to determine B(B(s)(0)→ μ+ μ-) = (1.8(-0.9) (+1.1)) × 10(-8) and provide an upper limit of B(B(s)(0) → μ+ μ-) < 4.0 × 10(-8) at 95% confidence level. 相似文献

We report on a search for CP violation in τ(±)→K(S)(0)π(±)ν(τ) decays using a data sample of 699 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB electron-positron asymmetric-energy collider. The CP asymmetry is measured in four bins of the invariant mass of the K(S)(0)π(±) system and found to be compatible with zero with a precision of O(10(-3)) in each mass bin. Limits for the CP violation parameter Im(η(S)) are given at the 90% confidence level. These limits are |Im(η(S))| < 0.026 or better, depending on the parametrization used to describe the hadronic form factors, and improve upon previous limits by 1 order of magnitude. 相似文献

First observations of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays B(0) → D(+)K(-)π(+)π(-) and B(-) → D(0)K(-)π(+)π(-) are reported using 35 pb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector. Their branching fractions are measured with respect to the corresponding Cabibbo-favored decays, from which we obtain B(B(0) → D(+)K(-)π(+)π(-))/B(B(0) → D(+)π(-)π(+)π(-))=(5.9±1.1±0.5)×10(-2) and B(B(-) → D(0)K(-)π(+)π(-))/B(B(-) → D(0)π(-)π(+)π(-))=(9.4±1.3±0.9)×10(-2), where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The B(-) → D(0)K(-)π(+)π(-) decay is particularly interesting, as it can be used in a similar way to B(-) → D(0)K(-) to measure the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa phase γ. 相似文献

We analyze the
and B–,0 → f0K–,0 decays and show that a consistent phenomenological picture can be obtained within the factorization approximation. In this
approach the O6 operator provides the dominant contributions to the suppressed channel
. An estimate of the annihilation form factor using perturbative QCD indicates that this contribution is not negligible, moreover
interference with other penguin contributions includes a free parameter since the phase of the annihilation amplitude is not
determined. Assumptions based on SU(2) isospin symmetry provide relations between different B decays involving one scalar and one pseudoscalar meson. 相似文献

Based on a data sample of 384 million B(B)pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric e+e-storage ring,we measure branching fractions, direct CP,isospin and lepton-flavor asymmetries for the rare decays B → K(*)1+1-in two di-lepton mass bins above and below the J/ψ resonance. For the B → K*1+1-decay,we also measure the K* longitudinal polarization fraction and the di-lepton forward-backward asymmetry. 相似文献

We report the results of an experimental study of the exclusive hadronic decays for D0→K0 sπ+π - and K 0 sK +K - and their resonant structures using BES-Ⅰ detector at the BEPC Collider. Using the data sample of 22.3 pb -1 collected at the center-of-mass energy s=4.03 GeV, we measured the branching fraction for D 0→K 0π +π - to be (5.32±0.53±0.40)%, the branching fractions for the decays D 0→ K *-π +, D 0→K 0ρ 0 and D 0→K 0(π +π -) non-resonant to be (6.05±0.32±0.49)%, (1.17±0.17±0.13)% and (1.35±0.22±0.17)%, respectively. We measured the branching fractions Br(D 0→f) to be (1.04±0.24± 0.16)% for f=K 0K +K -, (1.12±0.34±0.15)% for f=K0, and (0.27±0.13±0.03)% for f=K 0(K+K-)non-. 相似文献

A search is performed for the lepton number violating decay B+ → h- μ+ μ+, where h- represents a K- or a π-, using an integrated luminosity of 36 pb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector. The decay is forbidden in the standard model but allowed in models with a Majorana neutrino. No signal is observed in either channel and limits of B(B+ → K- μ+ μ+) < 5.4×10(-8) and B(B+ → π- μ+ μ+) < 5.8×10(-8) are set at the 95% confidence level. These improve the previous best limits by factors of 40 and 30, respectively. 相似文献

A search for the rare decays B(s)(0) → μ+ μ- and B(0) → μ+ μ- is performed in pp collisions at sqrt[s] = 7 TeV, with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.14 fb(-1), collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. In both cases, the number of events observed after all selection requirements is consistent with expectations from background and standard-model signal predictions. The resulting upper limits on the branching fractions are B(B(s)(0) → μ+ μ-) < 1.9 × 10(-8) and B(B(0) → μ+ μ-)<4.6 × 10(-9), at 95% confidence level. 相似文献

We analyze the B → ππ, πK modes in the light of the most recent B-factory data, and obtain the following new results: (i) the
modes prefer γ = (74±6)°, which - together with |Vub/Vcb| - allows us to determine the "true" unitarity triangle and to search for CP-violating new-physics contributions to B0d-
mixing; (ii) the B → πK puzzle reflected in particular by the low experimental value of the ratio Rn of the neutral B → πK rates persists and still favors new physics in the electroweak penguin sector with a new CP-violating phase ϕ ~ –90°, although now also ϕ ~ +90° can bring us rather close to the data; (iii) the mixing-induced
CP asymmetry is a sensitive probe of the sign of this phase, and would currently favor ϕ ~ +90°, as well as the direct CP asymmetry of
, which suffers, however, from large hadronic uncertainties; (iv) we investigate the sensitivity of our B → πK analysis to large non-factorizable SU(3)-breaking effects and find that their impact is surprisingly small so that it is indeed exciting to speculate on new physics;
(v) assuming that new physics enters through Z0 penguins, we study the interplay between B → πK and rare B, K decays and point out that the most recent B-factory constraints for the latter have interesting implications, bringing us to a few scenarios for the future evolution
of the data, where also the mixing-induced CP violation in
plays a prominent r?le. 相似文献
