In this paper we present a new infinite family of partition identities. The genesis of our work lies in two formulas of Lucy Slater related to the modulus 8. Useful properties, such as recursion relations, symmetries and limiting theorems of the q-supernomial coefficients are derived, and a combinatorial interpretation using generalized Durfee dissection partitions is given. Polynomial identities of boson-fermion-type, based on the continued fraction expansion of p/k and involving the q-supernomial coefficients, are proven. These include polynomial analogues of the Andrews-Gordon identities. Our identities unify and extend many of the known boson-fermion identities for one-dimensional configuration sums of solvable lattice models, by introducing multiple finitization parameters. 相似文献

Starting from Macdonald's summation formula of Hall-Littlewood polynomials over bounded partitions and its even partition
analogue, Stembridge (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., 319(2), (1990) 469–498) derived sixteen multiple q-identities of Rogers–Ramanujan type. Inspired by our recent results on Schur functions (Adv. Appl. Math., 27, (2001) 493–509) and based on computer experiments we obtain two further such summation formulae of Hall-Littlewood polynomials
over bounded partitions and derive six new multiple q-identities of Rogers–Ramanujan type.

For an integer p≥2 we construct vertical and horizontal one-pth Riordan arrays from a Riordan array.When p=2 one-pth Riordan arrays are reduced to well known half Riordan arrays.The generating functions of the A-sequences of vertical and horizontal one-pth Riordan arrays are found.The vertical and horizontal one-pth Riordan arrays provide an approach to construct many identities.They can also be used to verify some well known identities readily. 相似文献
