The entire vibrational spectrum of a single crystal of l-histidinium dihydrogen orthophosphate orthophosphoric acid (LHP) was studied by infrared (IR) spectroscopy from 10 up to 4000 cm−1. The polarized infrared (IR) reflectivity spectra were measured between 7 and 250 K, in the frequency range 10–600 cm−1. From the IR spectral analysis, the phonon modes were classified within their symmetry species, and their longitudinal (LO) and transversal (TO) optical frequencies were calculated. A tentative assignment of the various internal modes observed in the transmissivity spectrum of LHP, between 300 and 4000 cm−1, is proposed. The present study did not reveal any low-temperature structural phase transition.  相似文献

Amorphous, nanocrystalline, and bulk AlO(OH) · xH2O crystals have six fundamental modes (FM) of vibration in a nonlinear AlO(OH) molecular structure. Most of them appear in groups of four IR and Raman bands. Their positions and relative intensities differ significantly in three specimens. The nanocrystals (monoclinic structure with z=8 molecules per unit cell) have four OH stretching bands at values enhanced by up to 360 cm−1 at 3120, 3450, 3560 cm−1 in comparison to those in bulk crystals or amorphous specimens. The first two bands are broad, bandwidth Δν1/2200 to 350 cm−1, while the other two are sharp, Δν1/290 cm−1. The sharp bands shift to 3525 and 3595 cm−1 after heating the sample at 100°C. They no longer appear after heating at 300 or 500°C for 2 h (the specimen decomposes to Al2O3), leaving behind only two bands at 3100 and 3400 cm−1. A Δν1/2 value of 500 cm−1 appears in the 3400 cm−1 in a delocalized distribution of H atoms. Two bands also occur at 3098 and 3300 cm−1 in bulk crystals (orthorhombic structure with z=4) or at 2990 and 3515 cm−1 in an amorphous sample. More than one bands appear in a FM vibration in occurrence of sample in more than one conformers. The amorphous sample has approximately the same conformer structure as the bulk crystals. An amorphous surface structure exists in nanocrystals with a group of three bands at 1420, 1510 and 1635 cm−1 in an interconnected network structure. It encapsulates the nanocrystals in an amorphous shell. Its volume fraction, 33% estimated from the integrated intensity in three bands, determines 2.2 nm thickness in the shell in spherical shape of nanocrystals in 35 nm diameter.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum of bullvalene has been investigated in the region 18–40 GHz. In addition to transitions in the ground vibrational state, transitions arising from five excited vibrational states below 600 cm−1 have also been observed. A combination of microwave intensity measurements and infrared and Raman data has been utilized to assign these vibrations. Three of the vibrations are E-type modes at 241, 355, and 588 cm−1. One is an A1-type mode at 445 cm−1, and another is an A2-type at 266 cm−1. The microwave spectrum indicates the presence of a first-order Coriolis interaction for the E modes at 241 and 588 cm−1. The first-order Coriolis coupling constant q = 0.557 MHz for the 241 cm−1 vibration. The spectral results are consistent with C3v symmetry for bullvalene.  相似文献

The pure rotational spectrum of β-propiolactone (c-C2H4COO) has been recorded between 7 and 21 GHz using a pulsed jet Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. The resulting ground state spectroscopic constants guided the analysis of the rotationally-resolved infrared spectra of two bands that were collected using the far infrared beamline at the Canadian Light Source synchrotron. The observed modes correspond to motions best described as ring deformation (ν12) at 747.2 cm−1 and CO ring stretching (ν8) at 1095.4 cm−1. A global fit of 4430 a- and b-type transitions from the microwave spectrum and the two infrared bands provided an accurate set of ground state and excited state spectroscopic parameters. To complement the experimental results, the harmonic and anharmonic vibrational frequencies of all 21 infrared active modes of β-propiolactone have been calculated using the DFT B3LYP method (6-311+G(d,p), 6-311++G(2d,3p) basis sets).  相似文献

The Raman spectrum of polycrystalline α-naphthylamine was recorded in the region 100–4000 cm−1. Polarisation measurements were made in CS2 and CHCl3 solutions. The infrared spectrum was recorded in nujol mull in the region 200–4000 cm−1. The resolution was better than 2 cm−1 and the accuracy of the measurements was within ± 2 cm−1 for all the spectra. Vibrational assignments have been proposed for the observed frequencies. Out of the 54 normal modes of vibrations, 51 modes could be observed experimentally.  相似文献

The gas-phase infrared spectrum of CH3CD3 in the region of the perpendicular C---H stretching band, ν7, near 3000 cm−1 has been studied under a spectral resolution of 0.025 cm−1, increased to 0.015 cm−1 by deconvolution. An assignment of lines in the subbands KΔK = +15 to −3 is proposed, and their upper-state constants are reported. The interpretation of the effective rotational constants of the individual subbands is complicated by a strong perturbation.  相似文献

Ro-vibrational spectra of HNCS and DNCS have been obtained in the spectral range 300–4000 cm−1 with a practical resolution limit of 0.06 cm−1 in the region 350–1200 cm−1 and 0.15 cm−1 in the region 1200–4000 cm−1. The observed fine structure permitted definitive assignments for some of the PQK, QQK, and RQK branches in both molecules, and yielded sets of rotational constants in substantial agreement with those obtained from recent microwave and far-infrared studies. Precise estimates of the band origins have been obtained and there is evidence of second-order Coriolis coupling between the three bending modes in each molecule. The isolation of the out-of-plane bending modes has lead to a re-assignment of ν3, ν4, ν5, and ν6 for each molecule. The band origins, uncorrected for Coriolis interaction, are for HNCS and DNCS, respectively. v1:3538.6 ±0.3, 2644.5±0.5cm−1;v2:1989.0 ±0.3, 1944.3±0.5cm−1;v3:857.0 ±0.6, 851.0±0.1cm−1;v4:615.0 ±0.5, 549.1±0.2cm−1;v5:469.2 ±0.1, 365.8 ±0.2cm−1;v6:539.2 ±0.5, 481.0±0.1cm−1;  相似文献

The infrared spectrum of HC15NO an isotopically substituted species of fulminic acid, has been measured in the range 1900-3600 cm−1 at a resolution of 0.003 cm−1 with a Bruker IFS 120 HR interferometer. More than 100 subbands have been assigned. Power series coefficients for these transitions are given. A Coriolis resonance between the levels 01002 (l = 0e) and 01010 (l = 1e) allows normally "forbidden" transitions to occur, some of which were observed and assigned. We correlate transition intensities and energies of the resonance system. Variations in the manifold of nν5 states with excitation of other modes are compared.  相似文献

TheY2Σ+–X2Πinear-infrared electronic transition of CuO was observed at high resolution for the first time. The spectrum was recorded with the Fourier transform spectrometer associated with the McMath–Pierce Solar Telescope at Kitt Peak. The excited CuO molecules were produced in a low pressure copper hollow cathode sputter with a slow flow of oxygen. Constants for theY2Σ+states of CuO are:T0= 7715.47765(54) cm−1,B= 0.4735780(28) cm−1,D= 0.822(12) × 10−6cm−1,H= 0.46(10) × 10−10cm−1, γ = −0.089587(42) cm−1, γD= 0.1272(79) × 10−6cm−1,bF= 0.12347(22) cm−1, andc= 0.0550(74) cm−1. ImprovedX2Πiconstants are also presented.  相似文献

The infrared (IR) spectrum of PD3 has been recorded in the 1580–1800 cm−1 range at a resolution of 0.0027 cm−1. About 2400 rovibrational transitions with J=K22 have been measured and assigned to the ν1 (A1) and ν3 (E) stretching fundamentals. These include 506 “perturbation-allowed” transitions with selection rules Δ(kl)=±3. Splittings of the K′′=3 lines have been observed. Effects of strong perturbations are evident in the spectrum. Therefore the rovibrational Hamiltonian adopted for the analysis explicitly takes into account the Coriolis and k-type interactions between the v1=1 and v3=1 states, and includes also several essential resonances within these states. The rotational structure in the v1=1 and v3=1 vibrational states up to J=K=18 was reproduced by fitting simultaneously all experimental data. Thirty-four parameters reproduced 1950 transitions retained in the final cycle with a standard deviation of the fit equal to 4.9 × 10−4 cm−1 (about the precision of the experimental measurements).  相似文献

The electronic spectrum of gas-phase tellurium dioxide has been recorded between 345 and 406 nm using the technique of laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. The TeO2 sample was prepared by direct heating of the solid and by seeding it in a continuous free-jet expansion in argon. Twenty-seven cold bands and thirty-two hot bands were assigned. The wavenumbers of the band origin and symmetric stretching and bending vibrational modes for the upper and lower states were determined in a simple least-squares fit: ν0 = 25526 cm−1, ω1 = 679 cm−1, ω2 = 220 cm−1, ω1 = 823 cm−1, ω2 = 282 cm−1.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum (41-10 GHz) and the infrared spectrum (4000-50 cm−1) of methyl thiolformate have been obtained and analyzed. The spectra are consistent with a single molecular conformation having a planar array of heavy atoms and with the alkyl group cis to the carbonyl group. The measured rotational constants are: A, 11042.22 MHz; B, 5118.27 MHz; C, 3562.03 MHz (κ = −0.5839). No internal rotation doublets were observed in the microwave spectrum for the ground vibrational state, which implies that the barrier hindering internal rotation of the methyl group is either much larger or much smaller than the corresponding value for methyl formate. If the former is true then a lower limit of 10.5 kJ mol−1 may be placed on the barrier height. The dipole moment of methyl thiolformate was measured using the Stark effect to be 1.58 ± 0.05 Debyes (μA = 1.52 D; μB = 0.43 D) for the vapor, and for dilute solutions in benzene at 295 K the value of 1.6 ± 0.1 D was found from capacitance measurements.SCF computations using minimal basis sets of STO/3G atomic orbitals and extended basis sets of STO/4.31G atomic orbitals have been carried out for methyl thiolformate and methyl formate. Energy differences between rotational isomers and estimates of barrier heights are given together with the calculated dipole moments.  相似文献

The ν3±1 perpendicular band of 14NF3 ( cm−1) has been studied with a resolution of 2.5 × 10−3 cm−1, and 3682 infrared (IR) transitions (Jmax=55, Kmax=45) have been assigned. These transitions were complemented by 183 millimeterwave (MMW) rotational lines (Jmax=25, Kmax=19) in the 150–550 GHz region (precision 50–100 kHz). The kl=+1 level reveals a strong A1/A2 splitting due to the l(2,2) rotational interaction (q=−4.05 × 10−3 cm−1) while the kl=−2 and +4 levels exhibit small A1/A2 splittings due to l(2,−4) and l(0,6) rotational interactions. All these splittings were observed by both experimental methods. Assuming the v3=1 vibrational state as isolated, a Hamiltonian model of interactions in the D reduction, with l(2,−1) rotational interaction (r=−1.96 × 10−4 cm−1) added, accounted for the observations. A set of 26 molecular constants reproduced the IR observations with σIR=0.175 × 10−3 cm−1 and the MMW data with σMMW=134 kHz. The Q reduction was also performed and found of comparable quality while the QD reduction behaved poorly. This may be explained by a predicted Coriolis interaction between v3=1 and v1=1 (A1, 1032.001 cm−1) which induces a slow convergence of the Hamiltonian in the QD reduction but has no major influence on the other reductions. The experimental equilibrium structure could be calculated as: re(N–F)=1.3676 Å and (FNF)=101.84°.  相似文献

To support planetary studies of the Venus atmosphere, we measured line strengths of the 2v3, v1+2v2+v3, and 4v2+v3 bands of the primary isotopologue of carbonyl sulfide (16O12C32S), whose band centers are located at 4101.387, 3937.427, and 4141.212 cm−1, respectively. For this, infrared absorption spectra in normal carbonyl sulfide (OCS) sample gas were recorded at an unapodized resolution of 0.0033 cm−1 at ambient room temperatures using a Bruker Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The FTS instrumental line shape (ILS) function was investigated, which revealed no significant instrumental line broadening or distortions. Various custom-made short cells and a multi-pass White cell were employed to achieve optical densities sufficient to observe the strong 2v3 and the weaker bands in the region. Gas sample impurities and the isotopic abundances were determined from mass spectrum analysis. Line strengths were retrieved spectrum by spectrum using a non-linear curve fitting algorithm adopting a standard Voigt line profile, from which Herman–Wallis factors were derived for the three bands. The band strengths of 2v3, v1+2v2+v3, and 4v2+v3 of 16O12C32S (normalized at 100% of isotopologue) are observed to be 6.315(13)×10−19, 1.570(2)×10−20, and 7.949(20)×10−21 cm−1/molecule cm−2, respectively, at 296 K. These results are compared with earlier measurements and the HITRAN 2004 database.  相似文献

Several elementary reactions of formyl radical of combustion importance were studied using pulsed laser photolysis coupled to transient UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy: HCO → H + CO (1), HCO + HCO → products (2), and HCO + CH3 → products (3). One-pass UV absorption, multi-pass UV absorption as well as cavity ring-down spectroscopy in the red spectral region were used to monitor temporal profiles of HCO radical. Reaction (1) was studied over the buffer gas (He) pressure range 0.8–100 bar and the temperature range 498–769 K. Reactions (2a), (2b), (2c), (3a) and (3b) as well as the UV absorption spectrum of HCO, were studied at 298 and 588 K, and the buffer gas (He) pressure of 1 bar. Pulsed laser photolysis (308, 320, and 193 nm) of acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, and acetone was used to prepare mixtures of free radicals. The second-order rate constant of reaction (1) obtained from the data at 1 bar is: k1(He) = (0.8 ± 0.4) × 10−10exp(−(66.0 ± 3.4) kJ mol−1/RT) cm3 molecule−1 s−1. The HCO dissociation rate constants measured in this work are lower than those reported in the previous direct work. The difference is a factor of 2.2 at the highest temperature of the experiments and a factor of 3.5 at the low end. The experimental data indicate pressure dependence of the rate constant of dissociation of formyl radical 1, which was attributed to the early pressure fall-off expected based on the theory of isolated resonances. The UV absorption spectrum of HCO was revised. The maximum absorption cross-section of HCO is (7.3 ± 1.2) × 10−18 cm2 molecule−1 at 230 nm (temperature independent within the experimental error). The measured rate constants for reactions (2a), (2b), (2c), (3a) and (3b) are: k2 = (3.6 ± 0.8) × 10−11 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 (298 K); k3 = (9.3 ± 2.3) × 10−11 cm3 molecule−1 s−1(298 and 588 K).  相似文献

In this paper we study the room-temperature infrared transmission spectra (400–1600cm–1) and far-infrared diffuse reflection spectra (50–450cm–1) in Pb-doped Bi–Sr–Ca–Cu–O (2223) single phase (Tc=107k, sp1), multiphase (Tc=110k, sp2) and nonsuperconducting samples (sp3). The spectral features in superconductor are totally different from those in nonsuperconductor, which show the different crystal structure. The correlation existing between a factor group analysis of the phonons in (2223) and (2212) compounds affords a tentative assignment of ir-active modes in Pb-doped (2223) single phase by comparison with reported data in (2212) materials. The Cu–O stretching Eu vibration (605cm–1) of CuO2 layers is the characteristic vibrational mode related perovskitelike crystal structures. Two phonon coupling effect emerges in the infrared transmission spectra in Pb-doped superconductor. The Ca–O vibration A2u (254cm–1) might be related to superconductivity of Bi-based family.  相似文献

The Fourier transform infrared spectrum of monoisotopic SC80Se has been investigated in the ν2, ν3, 2ν2, 2ν3, and ν1 regions with a resolution between 3 and 4 × 10−3 cm−1. In addition, the millimeter-wave spectrum has been studied in the region 150 to 320 GHz, and ground and ν2 = 1 excited state transitions have been measured. Ground state constants, B0 = 2043.285 4(4) MHz and D0 = 146.53(5) Hz, have been determined from a merge of millimeter-wave data and ground state combination differences spanning J values up to 77 and 143, respectively. The band centers ν2 = 352.341 075(9) cm−1 and ν3 = 505.480 06(5)cm−1 have been determined. The rovibrational parameters of numerous overtone and combination levels (ν1νl22ν3) = 0200, 0220, 0310, 0330, 0400, 0420, 0002, and 0003 have been obtained from polynomial analyses whose standard deviations ranged from 0.7 to 3.5 × 10−4 cm−1. The 1000 level, νeff 1435.840 cm−1, is anharmonically perturbed by the 0400 level, with an avoided crossing at J = 55, and W12222 = 0.963 09(1) cm−1. Transitions to both the upper (E+) and lower (E) sublevels of the dyad were observed for 1 ≤ J′ ≤ 117 and 4 ≤ J′ ≤ 171, respectively, and the deperturbed wavenumbers ν1 = 1435.542 76(2) and 4ν02 = 1432.725 00(3) cm−1 were derived. Furthermore, a local crossing of the E and 0420 levels involving l-type resonance was observed at J = 91.  相似文献

The global analysis of the infrared spectrum of chloromethane involving the ground state and the 13 vibrational states lying up to 2600 cm−1 is reported. This work incorporates and extends to the fifth polyad, the preliminary study of the lower four polyads published by [J. Mol. Spectrosc. 221 (2003) 199]. More than 20 000 transitions (including numerous hot bands) for each isotopomer 12CH335Cl and 12CH337Cl have been assigned and fitted with a standard deviation of about 3 × 10−4 cm−1 close to the experimental precision. A common set of 288 (resp. 303) effective parameters was determined for each isotopomer. Our global model allowed us to reproduce simultaneously and accurately the resonances already encountered in Polyad 3 and the new ones involved in Polyad 5.  相似文献

The infrared spectrum of allene has been recorded with high resolution (0.002-0.004 cm−1) on a Fourier transform instrument in the region 730 to 1170 cm−1 containing the perpendicular bands, ν9 and ν10. A total of 21 subbands with KΔK ranging from −6 to +14 have been assigned in the ν9 band, and 26 subbands with KΔK = −10 to +15 have been assigned in the ν10 band. The bands are affected by a combination of a Jz-Coriolis and a quartic anharmonic interaction between their upper states ν9 and ν10. In addition, several other more localized perturbations are found in the spectrum. The nature of the interactions responsible for these perturbations is discussed, and five of the strongest perturbations are quantitatively accounted for by constructing a Hamiltonian matrix which includes five different perturbing states and their Coriolis and anharmonic resonances with the ν9 and ν10 upper states. A set of spectroscopic constants for the ν9 and ν10 states and for some of the perturbing states is reported.  相似文献

We have studied GaAs1−xBix (up to x3%) using Raman scattering with two different polarization configurations. Two Bi-induced phonon modes are observed at 186 cm−1 and 214 cm−1 with increasing Raman intensity as the Bi concentration increases. By comparing Raman selection rules for the observed Bi-induced phonon modes with those for the substitutional N vibrational mode (GaN mode) in GaAsN, the phonon mode at 214 cm−1 is identified as originating from substitutional Bi at the As site in GaAsBi.  相似文献
