A high-power tandem-pumped Ho3+, Pr3+-doped ZBLAN fiber laser is demonstrated. Using the free-running 1100-nm output from a diode-cladding-pumped Yb3+-doped silica fiber laser as the pump source, a maximum output power of 2.5 W was generated at a slope efficiency of 29% after the threshold of approximately 30 mW was reached. Saturation of the output is avoided with Pr3+ codoping, which allows single-transition output. The center wavelength of the output was 2.86 microm and the bandwidth at maximum power was approximately 15 nm.  相似文献

报道了采用环形腔结构,使用偏振敏感的光隔离器构成掺Yb3+光纤激光器激光输出特性研究结果.用976 nm半导体激光器作为泵浦激光,获得了2.35 mW的最大输出功率,激光的中心波长为1.0537 μm,泵浦阈值功率为42 mW.在改变腔内偏振控制器的状态时,激光器的输出波长移动到1.066 μm.在时域,实验观测到掺Yb3+环形激光器的自脉动信号输出.  相似文献

本文报道采用环形腔使用偏振灵敏性光纤隔离器(P-SensitiveISO)构成的掺Er3+光纤激光器的激光输出特性研究结果.用976nm激光作为泵浦激光获得了0.42mW最大功率、中心波长1.5287μm的激光输出,阈值泵浦功率17mW.在改变腔内光纤偏振控制器(PC)的状态时,输出激光光谱分裂为二个分立的峰值,波长分别为1.5317μm和1.5502μm.  相似文献

We have demonstrated a novel tunable linear cavity Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped fiber laser, which utilizes amplified spontaneous emission as a secondary pump source so that it can operate in L-band. The tuning wavelength range can be up to 34 nm, from 1588.6 to 1622.6 nm, and the output power excursion of the laser at different wavelengths can be less than 0.4 dB by using a two sections of high-birefringence fiber loop mirror as the wavelength filter. The high output power of 200 mW is realized by using the cladding-pump.  相似文献

An erbium-doped fibre amplifier has been implemented with a 1.48 μm pumping from a Cr4+:YAG solid state laser. Record launched pump power of 256 mW and output power of 21.8 dBm with this type of pump laser have been obtained. Results are shown for a broad range of pump wavelength (24 nm) and signal wavelength (70 nm).  相似文献

A compact short-cavity high-repetition-frequency mode-locked fiber laser configured with Er3+/Yb3+ highly co-doped phosphate glass fiber and a graphene optical deposited film as saturable absorber is proposed and analyzed experimentally. The laser operates in stable mode-locked regime with fundamental repetition rate of 7.02 GHz. The output power is measured to be 1.2 mW with pump power around 80 mW, and the optical spectrum is centered about 1533.768 nm with mode spacing of 0.056 nm. As the pump power increases, the laser operates in multi-wavelength mode-locking emission state with the same longitude mode spacing. Moreover, the measure results show that different wavelength emission operates in different polarization states.  相似文献

报道了一种工作波长在L波段的包层泵浦Er3+/Yb3+共掺光纤环形激光器. 环形腔内的激光工作介质为一段9 m长的Er3+/Yb3+共掺高掺杂光纤. 利用6个976 nm LD同时抽运前段Er3+/Yb3+共掺双包层光纤产生的放大自发辐射谱作二次抽运源, 使腔内增义谱由C波段移到L波段, 实现了L波段光纤激光器的稳定输出; 采用包层泵浦技术, 在抽运功率为3594.5 mW时, 测得泵浦入纤功率为2731.8 mW, 实现了输出连续功率最大518.4 mW,斜率效率达到19% 的激光输出; 所形成激光的工作波长为1613.94 nm, 激光光谱的3 dB带宽为1.5 nm, 边模抑制比接近于50 dB.  相似文献

A power-scaled laser operation of Pr:YLi F4(YLF)crystal at 720.9 nm pumped by a 443.6 nm laser diode(LD)module was demonstrated.The 20 W module was used to pump the Pr:YLF crystal,and a maximum output power of 3.03 W with slope efficiency of 30.04%was obtained.In addition,a 5 W blue LD was also used to pump the Pr:YLF laser,and a maximum output power of 0.72 W was obtained at room temperature.The output power was limited by the wavelength mismatch between the single-emitter LD and the absorption peak of the crystal.  相似文献

在Tm:LuAG全固态激光器中实现了以氧化石墨烯可饱和吸收体为锁模启动元件的瓦级被动调Q锁模运转.本实验装置以可调谐掺钛蓝宝石激光器作为泵浦源,测得Tm:LuAG固态激光器出光阈值最低为325mW,当吸收抽运功率达到3420 mW时,进入稳定的调Q锁模运行状态.当抽运功率达到8.1 W时,对应的最大输出功率为1740 mW,中心波长为2023 nm,重复频率为104.2 MHz,最大单脉冲能量为16.7 nJ,调制深度接近100%.  相似文献

A novel all fiber cavity Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber laser (DCFL) based on two double-clad fiber (DCF)Bragg grating is presented. The fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) as the input and output mirrors have been formed in Yb3+-doped DCF with the phase-mask method, and their reflectivities are 99% and 22%,respectively. When the input pump power is 417 mW, the maximum output power is 144 mW with linewidth <0.1 nm at the wavelength of 1.057μm, over 40-dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and 50.8% slope efficiency.  相似文献

We report cw laser emission of a Pr, Yb-doped ZrF(4)-BaF(2)-LaF(3)-AlF(3)-NaF fiber in the red spectral region. Laser emission was achieved on the transition P(0)(3)?F(2)(3)(lambda(L)=635 nm) with a Ti:sapphire pump laser tuned to lambda(p)=850 nm . A maximum output power of P(out)=675 mW was obtained at an incident pump power of P(in)=3.37 W . The output power was increased to P(out)=1020 mW when pumping with P(in)=5.51 W was provided by two Ti:sapphire lasers. A photon avalanche process was found to contribute strongly to the population of the upper laser level.  相似文献

Sensitizer-free holmium-doped silica and fluoride mid-infrared fiber lasers are pumped using a high-power diode laser operating at 1148 nm. A maximum output power of 162 mW at 2.86 microm was produced at a slope efficiency of 24% using Ho(3+), Pr(3+)-doped fluoride fiber. Using Ho(3+)-doped silica fiber, a maximum output power of 55 mW at 2.1 microm was generated at a slope efficiency of 27%, a value limited by the presence of pump excited state absorption.  相似文献

Continuous-wave laser oscillation of Cr(3+):MgO at room temperature was realized under argon-ion laser pumping at 476 and 514 nm. The free-running laser wavelength was 840 nm, and with different mirror sets laser oscillation at 824, 830, 870, and 878 nm was also realized. With different crystals a maximum output power of 48 mW and a lowest threshold with respect to the absorbed pump power of 80 mW were realized. The slope efficiencies with respect to the absorbed pump power were as high as 2.3%. No thermal effects were observed for absorbed pump powers as great as 2.7 W.  相似文献

本文报道了红光激光二极管泵浦的Cr:LiSAF激光器.采用纵向泵浦的平凹腔结构,在脉冲方式泵浦下,当泵浦平均功率为54mW,重复频率为200Hz时得到平均功率为5mW的激光输出,在连续波状态下,测得了输出功率随泵浦功率的变化曲线.激光输出的中心波长为873nm.  相似文献

We describe a widely tunable, continuous-wave, room temperature Cr4+:YAG laser with direct pumping by two high brightness 4 W InGaAs laser diodes. In a tunable configuration, the output wavelength covered a span of 197 nm (1356–1553 nm) and provided a maximum power of 195 mW. A maximum non-tunable output power of 260 mW was obtained with a 0.6% transmission output coupler (OC) and 6.6 W of incident pump power. Pumping at two different wavelengths, 911 and 968 nm, was investigated.  相似文献

4 crystals under low-power laser diode end-pumping. Output power dependencies on the pump power and the pump wavelength of these diode-pumped solid state lasers were investigated. The high Nd3+ concentration of the Nd:KGW samples used in our measurements as well as up-conversion and exited-state absorption processes in Nd:KGW cause the reduced laser output power dependence on the pump wavelength which was experimentally observed. At pump levels up to 270 mW a slope efficiency of ηsl≈46% was reached for the Nd:KGW laser. Nd:KGW microchip laser operation with a slope efficiency of ηsl≈50% was demonstrated. A theoretical study of the kinetics of two-step-excitation upconversion ultraviolet cw fiber laser based on the 4f5d state in Pr3+:ZBLAN is performed using steady population rate equations and light propagation equations. Under different Pr3+ concentrations, the dependence of the threshold pump powers on the other pump power, the variations of laser output power with reflectivity of output coupler, pump powers and fiber length as well as the dependence of the optimum fiber length on pump powers are investigated.The results predict some optimum laser parameters for maximizing output power.  相似文献

报道了一种激光二极管(LD)端面泵浦10at%掺杂Yb∶YAG激光晶体(4×4×1 mm)和Ⅰ类临界相位匹配LBO的腔内倍频全固态绿光激光器.为了克服“绿光问题”,采用了两个激光二极管偏振耦合系统.在双路泵浦功率为1.2 W时,获得最高功率为40 mW 525 nm的连续基模激光输出.在腔内插入Cr4+:YAG饱和吸收体被动调Q,在泵浦功率为1.2 W时,可以获得平均功率为5.2 mW,脉冲重复频率为2.44 kHz,脉冲宽度为51.5 ns,峰值功率为41.7 W的515 nm脉冲激光输出.输出波长发生变化,而且515 nm脉冲激光输出的阈值仅为728 mW.  相似文献

多波长布里渊掺铒光纤激光器是一种新型的多波长光纤激光器,其原理是利用受激布里渊增益和掺铒光纤的线性增益,可以在常温下得到波长间隔约为0.08nm(~10GHz)的多波长输出。报道的布里渊掺铒光纤激光器,在布里渊抽运功率为1.7mW、980nm抽运功率为300mW的情况下得到稳定的15个波长(间隔~10GHz)的输出,这种激光器用作光传感器、光谱分析仪以及密集波分复用系统的光源。实验发现,输出波长的个数随着980nm抽运功率的增大而增加。另外,布里渊掺铒光纤激光器的信号功率主要来自于掺铒光纤的增益,而布里渊增益对它的影响不大。  相似文献

We report the realization of the continuous wave laser emission in the orange at 607 nm from a Pr:BaY(2)F(8) (Pr:BYF) crystal pumped by a blue GaN laser diode. A maximal output power of 78 mW is obtained in a quasi-single transverse mode beam. The effect of reabsorption losses at the laser wavelength is also evidenced.  相似文献
