The syntheses, structures, and solid-state emission characteristics of trans-bis(salicylaldiminato)Pt(II) complexes bearing N-aromatic functionalities are described herein. A series of Pt complexes bearing various N-phenyl (1) and N-(1-naphthyl) (2) groups on the salicylaldiminato ligands were prepared by reacting PtCl2(CH3CN)2 with the corresponding N-salicylidene aromatic amines, and the trans-coordination and crystal packing of these complexes were unequivocally established based on X-ray diffraction (XRD). Complexes with 2,6-dimethylphenyl (1c), 2,6-diisopropylphenyl (1d), 1-naphthyl (2a), and 1-(2-methylnaphthyl) (2b) groups on the N atoms exhibited intense phosphorescent emission at ambient temperature in the crystalline state, while those with phenyl (1a), 2,6-dibromophenyl (1b), and 2,6-bis(N,N-dimethylamino)phenyl (1e) functionalities were either less emissive or non-emissive under the same conditions. XRD analyses identified significant intramolecular interactions between Pt and H atoms of the N-aryl functionalities in the emissive crystals of 1c, 1d, and 2a. These interactions were evidently an important factor associated with intense emission at ambient temperature.  相似文献

A series of new arene ruthenium(II) complexes were prepared by reaction of ruthenium(II) precursors of the general formula [(η6-arene)Ru(μ-Cl)Cl]2 with N,N′-bidentate pyridyl-imine ligands to form complexes of the type [(η6-arene)RuCl(C5H4N-2-CH=N-R)]PF6, with arene = C6H6, R = iso-propyl (1a), tert-butyl (1b), cyclohexyl (1c), cyclopentyl (1d) and n-butyl (1e); arene = p-cymene, R = iso-propyl (2a), tert-butyl (2b). The complexes were fully characterized by 1H NMR and 13C NMR, UV–Vis and IR spectroscopies, elemental analyses, and the single-crystal X-ray structures of 2a and 2b have been determined. The single-crystal molecular structure revealed both compounds with a pseudo-octahedral geometry around the Ru(II) center, normally referred to as a piano stool conformation, with the pyridyl-imine as a bidentate N,N ligand. The activity of all complexes in the transfer hydrogenation of cyclohexanone in the presence of NaOH and iso-propanol is reported, the compounds showing turnover numbers of close to 1990 and high conversions. Complex 2b was also shown to be very effective for a range of aliphatic and cyclic ketones, giving conversions of up to 100 %.  相似文献

Two Ni(II) adamantane complexes, [Ni(bqad)Cl2] (1) and [Ni(bpad)(dmbp)(H2O)](ClO4)2·CH3OH H2O (2) (bqad = N,N′-bis(2-quinolinylmethyl) amantadine, bpad = N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amantadine, dmbp = 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The nickel centers in complex 1 have a distorted tetragonal pyramidal geometry, while the coordination polyhedron of 2 can be described as a distorted octahedron. The reaction kinetics for reduction of p-nitrophenol to p-aminophenol catalyzed by these complexes has been investigated by UV–visible spectrophotometry. Complex 1 exhibits a higher turnover frequency of 1.4 min?1 for the reduction of p-nitrophenol.  相似文献

The reactions of [(arene)RuCl2]2 (arene = p-cymene or benzene) and [Cp*MCl2]2 (M = Rh or Ir) with N,N′-bidentate chelating ligands 2-[3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazolyl]pyrimidine (L1) and 4-phenyl-(2-pyridyl)thiazole (L2) leads to the formation of mononuclear complexes of general formula [(arene)/Cp*M(L)Cl]PF6. Eight such complexes have been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic techniques. In addition, five of the complexes were also characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. These complexes have typical piano-stool geometries around the metal center, with five-membered metellacycles in which L1 and L2 both act as N,N′-chelating ligands. Moreover, L1 prefers to coordinate through its pyrimidine and pyrazolyl nitrogen atoms, rather than the pyridine nitrogen.  相似文献

Reactions of N-(1H-benzoimidazol-2-ylmethyl-2-methoxy)aniline (L1) and N-(1H-benzoimidazol-2-ylmethyl-2-bromo)aniline (L2) with p-TsOH, Pd(AOc)2 and two equivalents of PPh3 or PCy3 produced the corresponding palladium complexes, [Pd(L1)(OTs)(PPh3)] (1), [Pd(L2)(OTs)(PPh3)] (2) and [Pd(L1)(OTs)(PCy3)] (3), respectively, in good yields. The new palladium complexes 13 and the previously reported complexes [Pd(L1)ClMe] (4) and [Pd(L2)ClMe] (5) gave active catalysts in the methoxycarbonylation of terminal and internal olefins to produce branched and linear esters. The effects of complex structure, nature of phosphine derivative, acid promoter and alkene substrate on the catalytic activities and selectivity have been studied and are herein reported.  相似文献

Two ethylenediamine derivatives—N-(2-ammoniumethyl)carbamate HN(COO?)CH2CH2N+H3 (I) and tetraacetylethylenediamine (H3CC(O))2NCH2CH2N(C(O)CH3)2 (II) (synthesized for the first time)—have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Compounds I and II are isolated as minor admixtures upon an attempt to synthesize ethylenediamine complexes of lanthanum and neodymium nitrates, respectively. The crystals of I and II are monoclinic: a = 7.778 Å, b = 8.060 Å, c = 7.568 Å, β = 95.73°, Z = 4, space group P21/c (I); a = 5.946, b = 10.255, c = 9.343 Å, β = 95.72°, Z = 2, space group P21/c (II). The bond lengths and bond angles lie within the corresponding standard values. Compounds I and II have different conformations of the N-C-C-N ethylenediamine moiety: gauche in I and trans in II, and the corresponding torsion angles are equal to 66.6° and 180°, respectively.  相似文献

Three Cu(II) complexes: [Cu2(μ-L)2(HCOO)2(H2O)2] (1), [Cu2(μ-L)2(NO3)2] (2), and [Cu4(μ-L)6(CH3COO)2]·2H2O (3) constructed from 2-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl) pyridine (HL) were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The X-ray analyses revealed that all three complexes feature a di-ligand-bridged Cu2 unit, which is nearly planar. Each deprotonated ligand chelates one copper atom by means of N,N(pyridine-pyrazole) pocket and simultaneously bridges the other one by the N,N(pyrazole) groups. The remaining coordination sites of the Cu(II) centers are either occupied by different anionic coligands to balance the charge, or bridged by another L to develop a tetranuclear structure. Magnetic investigations reveal that the distortion of the Cu(II) coordination geometry (as described by the τ values) and the coplanarity of the Cu–(N=N)2–Cu unit have cooperative effects on the antiferromagnetic strength of these systems.  相似文献

Two new square planar complexes with the formula Co(L)2 · CH3OH (1) and Ni(L)2 · CH3OH (2) (HL = HN{C(Me)=NH}2 = N-acetimidoylacetamidine) have been synthesized by solvothermal reactions in methanol/acetonitrile. N-acetimidoylacetamidine ligand was derived from the self-condensation reaction of acetonitrile, and the reaction was promoted by the cooperation of M(II) (M = Co in 1 and M = Ni in 2) with diphenylcarbazide. 1 and 2 are characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and infrared spectrum. Both complexes crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 9.329(6) Å, b = 11.494(7) Å, c = 13.040(8) Å, β = 92.945(11)°, V = 1396.3(16) Å3 and Z = 4 for 1, and a = 9.323(4)Å, b = 11.512(5) Å, c = 13.020(6)Å, β = 92.819(7)°, V = 1395.7(10)Å3 and Z = 4 for 2.  相似文献

In this research study, the formation and characterization of new ruthenium(II) and (III) complexes encompassing multidentate ligands derived from 6-acetyl-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine (almz) are reported. The 1:1 molar coordination reactions of trans-[RuCl2(PPh3)3] with N-1-[1,3,7-trimethyllumazine]benzohydride (bzlmz) and 6-(N-methyloxime)-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine (ohlmz) formed a diamagnetic ruthenium(II) complex, cis-[RuCl2(bzlmz)(PPh3)] (1), and paramagnetic complex, cis-[RuIIICl2(olmz)(PPh3)] (2) [Holmz = 6-(N-hydroxy-N′-methylamino)-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine], respectively. These ruthenium complexes were characterized via physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. Structural elucidations of the metal complexes were confirmed using single crystal X-ray analysis. The redox properties of the metal complexes were investigated via cyclic voltammetry. Electron spin resonance spectroscopy confirmed the presence of a paramagnetic metal centre in 2. The radical scavenging activities of the metal complexes were explored towards the DPPH and NO radicals. Quantum calculations at the density functional theory level provided insight into the interpretation of the IR and UV–Vis experimental spectra of 1.  相似文献

Crystals of I are monoclinic: a = 14.459(2) Å, b = 17.197(3) Å, c = 9.822(2) Å, β = 105.923(10)°, V = 3348.6(8) Å3, space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, R hkl = 0.0419 for 6663 reflections. Complex I is a binuclear acetamidate with bridging (NHCOCH3)? ligands, one of which is bound to two Pt atoms through the N and O atoms, and the other ligand is bound only through the N atom. The Pt-Pt distance is 2.987(1) Å. Crystals of II are monoclinic: a = 10.213(7) Å, b = 13.373(9) Å, c = 16.533(11) Å, β = 97.971(9)°, V = 2236(3) Å3, space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R hkl = 0.557 for 6462 reflections. The Pt-Pt distance is 3.057(1) Å. Crystals of III are monoclinic: a = 10.557(12) Å, b = 18.531(2) Å, c = 14.4744(17) Å, β = 108.705(2)°, V = 2682(5) Å3, space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R hkl = 0.569 for 8506 reflections. The Pt-Pt distance is 3.202(1) Å. Complexes II and III are binuclear acetamidates, in which two chelating Pt(Tm) or Pt(N,N-DimeTm) moieties are coordinated through the N and O atoms of (NHCOCH3)? cis-bridges.  相似文献

Two Ni(II) xanthate complexes of composition [Ni(S2COR)2(tmeda)] (R=Me (1), Et (2); tmeda = N,N,N,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine) have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. Both the complexes are hexa-coordinate with an NiN2S4 core. Methylxanthate adopts an isobidentate coordination mode in complex 1 while ethylxanthate exhibits an anisobidentate binding mode in complex 2. Inter- and intramolecular hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structures of both complexes. The antibiotic properties of the complexes were investigated .  相似文献

The coordination reactions of 3d metal salts with malonic acid N,N′-bis(salicyloyl) bishydrazide (H6mbshz) afforded three complexes, namely [Cu2(H2bshz)(Py)4Cl2]·Py (1) (Py = pyridine), [Fe2(bshz)(Py)2] (2) and the known complex [Ni4(aehba)2(DMF)2(H2O)2]·2DMF (3), where bshz = N,N′-bis(salicyloyl)hydrazine anion and aehba4? = azo-enolic-2-hydroxybenzamide anion. The X-ray crystal structures of all three complexes have been obtained. Complexes 1 and 2 are composed of N–N-bridged binuclear units, while complex 3 displays a planar tetranuclear structure in which four Ni(II) centers are linked together by N–N and N=N bonds. The bshz anions in 1 and 2 and aehba4? anions in 3 were all generated in situ from H6mbshz. A mechanism for these reactions is proposed, involving tandem C–N cleavage and C–N/N–N coupling processes via free radical intermediates. Magnetic investigations revealed dominant antiferromagnetic interactions between the metallic centers of each complex.  相似文献

Reactions between dichloro-bridged copper(I) complexes and amides with different carbonyl substituents (CF3, CH3, and Ph) were reported. Two neutral Cu(I)-amido complexes, [Cu(Dppf)(MOAA)] (I) and [Cu(Dppf)(MOTFAA)] (II) (Dppf = 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, MOAA and MOTFAA = deprotonated N-(4-methoxyphenyl) acetamide and N-(4-methoxyphenyl) trifluoroacetamide, respectively), were synthesized in moderate to good yield and characterized by element analysis, 1H NMR and X-ray crystallography method (СIF file CCDC no. 1015222 (I)). The results showed that the production of Cu(I)- amido complxes were influenced by carbonyl substituent in the order of Ph > CF3 > CH3. The substituent effect also appeared in the N-arylation reactions of I and II with iodobenzene, which generated another copper(I) complex Cu(Dppf)I (III) and two amides products [N-methyl-N-(4-methoxyphenyl) acetamide] (А) and [N-methyl-N-(4-methoxyphenyl) trifluoroacetamide] (B) in different yield. The formation and transformation of the Cu(I)-amido complexes could indicate their dynamiccompetency as the intermediates of Goldberg reaction.  相似文献

Five octahedral ruthenium(II) complexes with azoimine–quinoline (Azo) and α-diimine (L) ligands having the general formula [RuII(L)(Azo)Cl](PF6) (15) {Azo: PhN=NC(COMe)=NC9H6N, L = 4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine (dmeb) (1), 4,4′-di-tertbutyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dtb) (2), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) (3), 5-chlorophenanthroline (Clphen) (4), or 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (tmphen) (5)} were prepared by stepwise addition of the tridentate azoimine (H2Azo) and α-diimine (L) pro-ligands to RuCl3 in refluxing EtOH. The tridentate azoimine–quinoline ligands coordinate to ruthenium via the Azo-N′, N′-imine and N″-quinolone nitrogen atoms. The spectroscopic properties (IR, UV/Vis, 1H, 13C and 19F NMR) and electrochemical behavior of complexes 15 and the X-ray crystal structures of complexes 2 and 3 are presented. The coordination of Ru(II) to these strong π-acceptor ligands (Azo and L) results in a large anodic shift for the Ru(III/II) couples of 1.63–1.72 V versus NHE. The electronic spectra in MeCN and IR spectra in CH2Cl2 for complex 3 in its oxidized 3 + and reduced 3 ? forms were investigated. The calculated absorption spectrum of 3 in MeCN was used to assign the UV–Vis absorption bands.  相似文献

Complexes ZnLCl2 (I) and [CdLCl2] n (IV), where L is chiral bis-pyridine containing fragments of natural monoterpenoide (–)-α-pinene are synthesized. Single crystals of [ZnLCl2]·CH2Cl2 (II), [ZnLCl2i-PrOH (III), and IV compounds are grown. The crystal structures of II and III are composed of mononuclear ZnLCl2 complex molecules and solvate CH2Cl2 and i-PrOH molecules; the coordination polyhedron of the zinc atom Cl2N2 is a distorted tetrahedron. According to the single crystal XRD data, complex IV is a 1D coordination polymer; the coordination core CdN2Cl4 is a distorted octahedron and Cl atoms are bridging ligands. In the structures of II, III, and IV the L molecule functions as a bidentate chelate ligand. In the solid phase, complexes I and IV exhibit photoluminescence in the visible range (λmax 505 nm and 460 nm respectively). The band intensity in the photoluminescence spectra of I and IV complexes considerably exceeds the band intensity in the spectrum of free L.  相似文献

Four chalcone–thiosemicarbazones (C-TSCs) of the type 2-((E)-3-(4-R-phenyl)-1-phenylallylidene)-N-phenylhydrazinecarbothioamide, where R?=?Cl (HL1), NO2 (HL2), CH3 (HL3) or CN (HL4), were prepared in good yields from the reaction of the respective chalcone with 4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazide and HCl in EtOH. Reaction of HL with CuCl2·2H2O or ZnCl2 in the presence of Et3N afforded the complexes [M(L)2], M?=?Cu(II) or Zn(II). X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the ligands coordinate in their deprotonated form, in a bidentate fashion through the iminic nitrogen and sulfur atoms. Yeast activities of the compounds were tested, where the ligand HL4 was the most damaging derivative, exhibiting cell viability at about 50%. On the other hand, lipid peroxidation assays revealed that the ligand HL1 was able to better induce membrane damage compared to the other compounds. It has been found that coordination with Cu(II) and Zn(II) did not increase the biological activities of the C-TSCs.  相似文献

The preparation of Mo(VI) hydrazone complexes, cis-[MoO2L1(CH3OH)] (I) and cis-[MoO2L2(CH3OH)] (II), derived from N'-(3-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-chlorobenzohydrazide (H2L1) and N'-(3-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-4-bromobenzohydrazide (H2L2), respectively, is reported. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, infrared and electronic spectroscopy, and single crystal structure analysis (CIF files ССDС nos. 1426875 (I), 1426871 (II)). The Mo atoms are coordinated by two cis terminal oxygen, ONO from the hydrazone ligand, and methanol oxygen. Even though the hydrazone ligands and the coordination sphere in both complexes are similar, the unit cell dimensions and the space groups are different. Complex I crystallized as orthorhombic space group Pca21 with unit cell dimensions a = 27.887(2), b = 8.0137(7), c = 15.544(1) Å, V = 3473.8(5) Å3, Z = 8, R 1 = 0.0450, wR 2 = 0.0539. Complex II crystallized as triclinic space group P1, with unit cell dimensions a = 8.2124(4), b = 8.5807(5), c = 12.9845(8) Å, α = 83.366(2)°, β = 79.201(2)°, γ = 80.482(2)°, V = 883.03(9) Å3, Z = 2, R 1 = 0.0278, wR 2 = 0.0569. The complexes were tested as catalyst for the oxidation of olefins, and showed effective activity.  相似文献

A new mononuclear cobalt(III) complex, [CoL2(N3)]2 · CH3OH (I), and a new mononuclear zinc(II) complex, [ZnLCl(CH3OH)] (II) (HL = 4-chloro-2-[(2-morpholin-4-ylethylimino)methyl]phenol), were prepared and structurally characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single- crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of I is monoclinic: space group P21/c, a = 18.742(2) Å, b = 15.197(2) Å, c = 25.646(2) Å, β = 125.996(3)°, V = 5909.8(11) Å3, Z = 4. The crystal of II is monoclinic: space group P21/c, a = 7.257(1) Å, b = 24.707(2) Å, c = 9.637(1) Å, β = 101.557(2)°, V = 1692.9(3) Å3, Z = 4. The Co atom in I is in an octahedral coordination, and the Zn atom in II is in a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination. The urease inhibitory test shows that complex I has strong urease inhibitory activity, while complex II has no activity.  相似文献

This paper describes the synthesis of (pyridyl)benzoazole Zn(II) and Cu(II) complexes and their applications as catalysts in ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of ε-caprolactone (ε-CL). Reactions of 2-(3-pyridyl)-1H-benzimidazole (L1), 2-(2-pyridyl)-1H-benzothiazole (L2) and 2-(2-pyridyl)-1H-benzimidazole (L3) with Zn(II) and Cu(II) acetates produced the corresponding complexes; [Zn2(L1)2(OAc)4)] (1), [Cu2(L1)2(OAc)4] (2), [Zn(L2)(OAc)2)] (3), [Zn(L3)(OAc)2)] (4) and [Cu(L3), (OAc)2)] (5). Molecular structures of complexes 2 and 5a revealed that while L1 adopts a monodentate binding mode, through the pyridyl nitrogen atom, L3 exhibits a bidentate coordination mode. All the complexes formed active catalysts in the ROP of ε-CL to afford moderate molecular weight polymers. The kinetics of the ROP reactions of ε-CL were pseudo-first-order with respect to monomer and catalysts.  相似文献

The respective coordination reactions of trans-[ReOCl3(PPh3)2] with N-[(4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl)methylidene]thiophene-2-carbohydrazide (Hchrtc) and N-[1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylmethylidene]thiophene-2-carbohydrazide (Hbztc) afforded two novel oxorhenium(V) complexes, cis-[ReOCl2(chrtc)(PPh3)] (1) and cis-[ReOCl2(bztc)(PPh3)] (2). These metal compounds were elucidated spectroscopically and their solid-state structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The redox properties of the metal complexes were probed using cyclic and square wave voltammetry. The DNA interaction capabilities of 1 and 2 were gauged via UV/Vis spectroscopy DNA titrations and gel electrophoresis studies. A correlation is identified between the DNA cleavage observations and the redox potentials of the metal complexes.  相似文献
