Pesticide residues in fruit and vegetables were determined by gas chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (GC/MS/MS). Electron impact (EI)/MS/MS and chemical ionization (CI)/MS/MS were developed for 80 compounds, including organochlorine, organophosphorus, organonitrogen, and pyrethroids, providing unambiguous spectral confirmation for these complex matrixes. Residues were extracted from samples with acetone followed by a mixture of dichloromethane-petroleum ether. Two injections per sample were required for analysis of the entire pesticide list by EI/MS/MS and CI/MS/MS. Initial steps involving cleanup and concentration of extracts were eliminated. The excellent selectivity and good linearity allowed quantification and identification of low levels of pesticides in the most difficult matrixes. The method has been used for routine analysis of many vegetables. 相似文献

A gas chromatographic/mass spectrometric (GS/MS) method was developed for the multiple determination of pesticides in sediment. The investigated pesticides included 85 compounds, i.e., 13 fungicides, 43 herbicides, and 29 insecticides. The pesticides were extracted from sediment samples by an ultrasonically assisted procedure. The extract was cleaned up by using reversed-phase column chromatography followed by normal-phase column chromatography. A styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer cartridge and a silica gel cartridge were used as the reversed-phase column and the normal-phase column, respectively. The compounds were determined by GC/MS with 2 internal standard compounds. The overall recoveries were 70-105%, and the relative standard deviations ranged from 1.5 to 18%. The minimum detectable concentrations were 2-10 microg/kg. This method was successfully applied to sediment samples from the Shin River in Niigata, Japan. Twenty-five pesticides (6 fungicides, 11 herbicides, and 8 insecticides) were detected in the sediment samples. The concentrations of the detected pesticides ranged from 3 to 69 microg/kg. Herbicides were found May through July; insecticides and fungicides were found July through August, and during July through September, respectively. The presence of pesticides in the river sediment was correlated with the time of pesticide application in the Shin River basin. 相似文献

A multiresidue method is described for determining 55 organophosphorus and organochlorinated compounds and pyrethroids commonly used in crop protection. Pesticide residues are extracted from samples with a mixture of ethyl acetate and sodium sulfate, obtaining a final preconcentration of I mg sample (ml extract)(-1). No additional clean-up steps are necessary. Analysis is performed by gas chromatography by using a combination of positive chemical ionisation (PCI) and electron impact (EI) ionisation modes and tandem mass spectrometry (GC-PCI/EI-MS-MS). Good sensitivity and selectivity of the method are obtained with limits of detection (LODs) ranging from 0.07 to 4.21 microg kg(-1) in all the cases, except for methamidophos, permethrin, cypermethrin and difenconazol. Average recoveries between 52 and 114% are obtained and good linearity is observed in the studied ranges (r > or = 0.994). The RSD values are < or = 29% in all the cases. The method has been applied to the analysis of 178 vegetable samples, as a part of the monitoring programme of the Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruits and Vegetables of Almería (COEXPHAL) and quality control systems applied during the assays have demonstrated a good performance and stability with time. 相似文献

This study describes an SPE coupled with large volume injection (LVI) analytical method for the analysis of organochlorine pesticides, BHC (alpha, beta, delta), aldrin, endosulfan (alpha, beta), endrin, dieldrin, and DDT, from aqueous samples. Determination was carried out by GC with MS. The LODs of organochlorine pesticides were determined at 10 ng/L concentration levels, and the results show that SPE-LVI-GC/MS has the potential to accurately determine organochlorine pesticides in water, as it avoids analyte classes in the various steps of a typical extraction procedure. 相似文献

As part of a project funded by the European Commission (EC) for the development and evaluation of multiresidue methods for analysis of drinking and related waters, 15 European laboratories evaluated a method using styrene-divinylbenzene co-polymer solid-phase extraction followed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The main aim of the study was to evaluate whether the method meets the requirements of EC Directive 98/83 in terms of accuracy, precision, and detection limit for 22 pesticides according to the following requirements: limit of detection, < or = 0.025 microg/L; accuracy, expressed as recovery between 75 and 125%; and precision, expressed as repeatability relative standard deviation of the method of < 12.5% and as reproducibility relative standard deviation of the method of < 25%. Analyses for unknown concentrations were performed with fortified commercial bottled and tap waters. All laboratories were able to achieve detection limits of 0.01 microg/L for all pesticides except dimethoate and desisopropylatrazine (0.02 microg/L). The criteria for repeatability were met for all compounds except trifluralin, dimethoate, and lindane in bottled water and chlorpyrifos, dimethoate, and lindane in tap water. The criteria for reproducibility were met for all compounds except trifluralin, dimethoate, and lindane in bottled water and pendimethalin, chlorpyrifos, dimethoate, terbutryn, and lindane in tap water. In terms of accuracy, the method meets the requirements for all pesticides in both matrixes, except for lindane in bottled water and lindane and chlorpyrifos in tap water. 相似文献

A simple and efficient method for multiple determination of 77 pesticides, including one organonitrogen, eight carbamate, 12 pyrethroid, 26 organochloride, 30 organophosphorous compounds, in textiles is developed. Six representative textiles are chosen as test samples. Extraction using hexane-ethyl acetate (1:1) assisted by ultrasonic processor is carried out twice, followed by clean-up using solid-phase extraction on a florisil column. The final solution is analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and 77 pesticides are determined. This method is highly sensitive, selective, and reproducible, with a broad linear range and reliable accuracy. Six blank samples are spiked with 0.50 and 2.00 mg/kg of the 77 pesticides, and the corresponding recoveries are between 64.5% and 99.1%; the precisions range from 4.04% to 14.78%; and the minimum detection limits of this method are 0.02-0.20 mg/kg. 相似文献

A method is described for the determination of 251 pesticide and degradation product residues in fruit and vegetable samples. Extraction of the sample with acetonitrile is followed by a salting-out step. Co-extractives are removed by passing a portion of the acetonitrile extract through an octadecyl (C18) solid-phase extraction cleanup cartridge and then, in a second cleanup, through a carbon cartridge coupled to an amino propyl cartridge. Determination is by gas chromatography with mass-selective detection in the selected-ion monitoring mode, and by liquid chromatography with post-column reaction and fluorescence detection for N-methyl carbamates. The method has been used for analysis of various fruits and vegetables, such as apple, banana, cabbage, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, orange, pear, pepper, and pineapple. Limits of detection range between 0.02 and 1.0 mg/kg for most compounds. Over 80% of the compounds have a limit of detection of < or = 0.04 mg/kg. 相似文献

Multiresidue analysis of pesticides in animal liver by gas chromatography using triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Two methods for extracting organochlorine (OCs) and organophosphorus (OPs) pesticides from animal liver have been developed. The determination was carried out by gas chromatography with electron impact ionization tandem mass spectrometry (GC-(EI-)MS/MS) using a triple quadrupole (QqQ) analyzer. First, a liquid-solid extraction performed with a high-speed homogenizer (Polytron) using ethyl acetate as solvent, and a subsequent clean-up by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) was applied, determining 34 pesticides. Secondly, a matrix solid phase dispersion (MSPD) extraction with octadecylsilyl (C(18)) sorbent combined with a Florisil clean-up and ethyl acetate elution was performed, analyzing 25 compounds. These methodologies have been tested and compared in the sample pre-treatment due to the fatty nature of the matrix. The GPC method was finally selected and validated, yielding recoveries in the range 70-115%, with precision values expressed as relative standard deviation (RSD) lower or equal to 20%, at the spiking levels of 25 and 50 microg kg(-1), and limits of quantification (LOQs) lower than the maximum residue levels (MRLs) set by the European Union in animal products, except for isofenphos. Linearity was also studied ranging between 5 and 300 microg kg(-1) for most of pesticides. This method was applied to the analysis of real liver samples of chicken, pork and lamb. 相似文献

The multiresidue method used in this study allows the determination of 101 pesticides, including organophosphorus, organochlorine, and nitrogen-containing pesticides, in crops by gas chromatography with mass selective detector. Analysis was performed in the selected-ion monitoring mode, and the identities of the positive analytes were confirmed by retention time and the ratios of selected ions. The selected ion mode demonstrated an acceptable selectivity for most of the pesticides determined in 3 kinds of samples (Chrysanthemum coronarium; Perilla japonica, leaf; and Lactuca savita, which are very popular vegetables eaten raw in Korea), and very minor interferences were observed in the elution area of the pesticide analytes. Samples were spiked with pesticides at 0.1-1.0 mg/kg. The recoveries of 90% of the pesticides were between 70 and 110%; however, the recoveries of acephate and folpet were very poor, i.e., < 50%. The limits of detection (LODs) for most pesticides were between 0.02 and 0.3 mg/kg, and the LODs for about half of the pesticeds studied were < 0.05 mg/kg. 相似文献

A gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) method with immunoaffinity cleanup was developed for the determination of zeranol and related compounds, taleranol, zearalanone, and alpha-zearalenol in bovine muscle. Muscle samples were extracted with methanol and cleaned up with immunoaffinity chromatography (IAC) columns containing monoclonal antibodies raised against zeranol coupled to CNBr-activated Sepharose 4B. After derivatization, the compounds were analyzed by GC/MS. The dynamic column capacities for zeranol, taleranol, zearalanone, and alpha-zearalenol were 2639.7, 2840.3, 2731.5, and 2736.3 ng/mL Sepharose gel, respectively. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.5 and 1.0 ng/g, respectively, for all 4 compounds. Mean recoveries were 79.6-110.7% with coefficients of variation of 3.2-11.4% at spiked levels of 1.0-5.0 ng/g. This IAC-GC/MS method may be used for the determination of zeranol, taleranol, zearalanone, and alpha-zearalenol residues in bovine muscle, and possibly other tissues. 相似文献

A multiresidue method is developed for the screening, quantification and confirmation of 43 pesticides, belonging to different chemical families of insecticides, acaricides, fungicides, herbicides and plant growth regulators, and 9 pesticide metabolites in four fruit and vegetable matrices. Pesticide residues are extracted from the samples with MeOH:H2O (80:20, v/v) 0.1% HCOOH, and then a cleanup step using OASIS HLB SPE cartridges is applied. The SPE eluate is concentrated and the final volume adjusted to 1 mL with MeOH:H2O (10:90, v/v) before injection into LC-MS/MS. Analyses are performed using electrospray ionization (ESI) and triple quadrupole (QqQ) analyzer. The method has been validated based on the SANCO European Guidelines for representative samples that were chosen to study the influence of different matrices: high water content (tomato), high acidic content (lemon), high sugar content (raisin) and high lipidic content (avocado). Special attention has been given to minimize the degradation of some pesticides into their metabolites and the losses observed in the evaporation step. Under the optimized conditions, the recoveries were, with a few exceptions, in the range 70-110% with satisfactory precision (CV < or = 15%). The quantification of analytes was carried out using the most sensitive transition for every compound and by "matrix-matched" standards calibration. The method can be used for the accurate determination of 52 pesticides and metabolites in one single determination step at the 0.01 mg/kg level. Confirmation of residues detected in samples is performed by an independent injection into the LC-MS/MS system by acquiring additional MS/MS transitions to that used for quantification. The acquisition of the highest number of available transitions is suggested for unequivocal confirmation of the analyte. 相似文献

Multiresidue determination of pesticides in juice by solid-phase extraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A multiresidue method based on solid-phase extraction was developed for the simultaneous determination of 50 pesticides in commercial juices. The extraction procedure was carried out in C18 columns preconditioned with acetonitrile and water. The subsequent elution of pesticides was performed with a mixture of hexane-ethyl acetate (1:1, v/v) prior to the determination by gas chromatography with electron impact mass spectrometric detection in the selected ion monitoring mode (GC-MS-SIM), using one target and two qualifier ions. Standards were prepared spiking blank juice samples to counteract the observed matrix effect. Average recoveries for all the pesticides studied were higher than 91% with relative standard deviations lower than 9% in the concentration range of 0.02-0.1 μg/mL and the detection limits achieved ranged from 0.1 to 4.6 μg/L. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of these compounds in commercial juices and diazinon, ethion and procymidone were the pesticides encountered, although the levels found were very low. 相似文献

A multiresidue method for pesticides that enables quantitative, sequential analysis of a large number of vegetable and fruit samples by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry has been developed. First, 89 important target compounds were selected for monitoring, and then the appropriate internal standards for these pesticides, 14 stable isotopically labeled pesticides (surrogates), were used. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile, and the extract was cleaned up by a salting-out step followed by redissolution in ethyl acetate. Coextractives were removed automatically by gel permeation chromatography with a graphitized carbon column, and then by use of a tandem silica-gel/PSA cartridge column. Recoveries of 82 of the 89 pesticides from fortified spinach, tomato, apple, and strawberry were within a range from 70 to 120%, and the relative standard deviation values of 80 of the 89 pesticides were <5%. The method was applied to 188 commercial vegetable and fruit samples to demonstrate its use in routine analysis. 相似文献

A coupled capillary column system was developed for the qualitative and quantitative determination of melamine with isotope internal standard in dairy products by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) without derivatization. A 30 m of DB-5ms ((5%-phenyl)-methylpolysiloxane, 0.25 mm i.d., 0.25 μm df) coupled with a 1.5 m of Innowax (polyethylene glycol, 0.32 mm i.d., 0.25 μm df) by a quartz capillary column connector was introduced as separation column. Three advantages were discussed for the coupled system. The sample was fortified with a ring-labeled 13C315N3-melamine as an isotope internal standard and extracted by 1% of trichloroacetic acid aqueous solution. 2.2% of lead acetate solution was then added to deposit protein in the sample matrix. After purification by cation exchange cartridge, the sample solution was directly injected and detected by GC/MS. A six-point calibration curve ranging from 0.05 to 2 mg kg−1 of melamine in sample was used to establish instrument response. The recovery was 93.9-102% with relative standard deviation from 3.1 to 8.7% when isotope internal standard used. The calculated method detection limit was 0.01 mg kg−1. 相似文献

A microwave-assisted extraction method followed by clean-up with solid-phase extraction (SPE) combined with large-volume injection
gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LVI-GC-MS/MS) for the analysis of 17 pesticides in wild and aquaculture edible
seaweeds has been developed. An experimental central composite design was employed to evaluate the effects of the main variables
potentially affecting the extraction (temperature, time, and solvent volume) and to optimize the process. The most effective
microwave extraction conditions were achieved at 125 °C and 12 min with 24 mL of hexane/ethyl acetate (80:20). SPE clean-up
of the extracts with graphitized carbon and Florisil, optimized by means of the experimental design, proved to be efficient
in the removal of matrix interferences. The analytical recoveries were close to 100% for all the analytes, with relative standard
deviations lower than 13%. The limits of detection ranged from 0.3 to 23.1 pg g−1 and the limits of quantification were between 2.3 and 76.9 pg g−1, far below the maximum residue levels established by the European Union for pesticides in seaweed. The results obtained prove
the suitability of the microwave-assisted extraction for the routine analysis of pesticides in aquaculture and wild seaweed
samples. 相似文献

It would be preferable for pesticide residues substituted by hydrolyzable functionality to be analyzed after cooking because their structures are apt to degrade during boiling and/or heating. A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS) method for the quantitative determination of 44 pesticide residues with hydrolyzable functional group in five typical vegetable widely consumed in Republic of Korea is described. The sample clean‐up was carried out according to the method of Food Code No. 83 established by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Zorbox XDB‐C18 column was selected for the analysis because of the best peak separation. The LC mobile phase consisted of water and 5 mm methanolic ammonium formate, which resulted in a peak shape with good symmetry at each run. Tandem mass spectroscopic (MS/MS) experiments were performed in ESI positive mode and the multiple reaction monitoring modes. A conventional matrix effect was modified to more comprehensive form 100γij (%). A high matrix effect (30%) was detected for the seven polar pesticides, namely thiamethoxam, clothianidin, acetamiprid, aldicarb, thiacloprid, pirimicarb and methabenzthiazuron. The limits of detection were in the range of 0.1–8.1 µg/kg, indicating a good sensitivity. Most of the recoveries ranged from 70 to 131% with RSDs ≤ 20%. The current method allowed rapid quantitation and identification of low pesticide levels in the cooked vegetable samples. Of the screened pesticide residues, only fluquinconazole and dimethomorph below the maximum residue levels established by the KFDA were detected in onion and cucumber samples. A sensitive and selective gas chromatography with mass spectrometry method was developed for the simultaneous determination of three organophosphorus pesticides, namely, chlorpyrifos, malathion, and diazinon in three different food commodities (milk, apples, and drinking water) employing solid‐phase extraction for sample pretreatment. Pesticide extraction from different sample matrices was carried out on Chromabond C18 cartridges using 3.0 mL of methanol and 3.0 mL of a mixture of dichloromethane/acetonitrile (1:1 v/v) as the eluting solvent. Analysis was carried out by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry using selected‐ion monitoring mode. Good linear relationships were obtained in the range of 0.1–50 μg/L for chlorpyrifos, and 0.05–50 μg/L for both malathion and diazinon pesticides. Good repeatability and recoveries were obtained in the range of 78.54–86.73% for three pesticides under the optimized experimental conditions. The limit of detection ranged from 0.02 to 0.03 μg/L, and the limit of quantification ranged from 0.05 to 0.1 μg/L for all three pesticides. Finally, the developed method was successfully applied for the determination of three targeted pesticides in milk, apples, and drinking water samples each in triplicate. No pesticide was found in apple and milk samples, but chlorpyrifos was found in one drinking water sample below the quantification level. 相似文献

A fast and efficient method was developed for the extraction and determination of organophosphorus pesticides in water samples. Organophosphorus pesticides were extracted by solid‐phase extraction using magnetic multi‐walled carbon nanotubes and determined by gas chromatography with ion‐trap mass spectrometry. Parameters affecting the extraction were investigated. Under optimum conditions of the method, 10 mg magnetic multi‐walled carbon nanotubes were added into 10 mL sample. After 2 min, adsorbent particles settled at the bottom of test tube with a magnet. After removing aqueous supernatant, the analytes were desorbed with acetonitrile. Then, 70 μL of acetonitrile phase was injected into the gas chromatography and mass spectrometry system that had an ion‐trap analyzer. To achieve high sensitivity, the large‐volume‐injection technique was used with a programmed temperature vaporization inlet, and the ion‐trap mass spectrometer was operated in single ion storage mode. Under the best conditions, the enrichment factors and extraction recoveries were in the range of 113–124 and 74–103%, respectively. The limits of detection were between 3 and 15 ng/L, and the relative standard deviations were < 10%. This method was successfully used for the determination of organophosphorus pesticides in dam water, lagoon water, and river water samples with good reproducibility and recovery. 相似文献
