The resonant-ring is a traveling wave circuit, which is used to produce high peak power with comparatively smaller stored energy. The application to be considered is its use as a high power simulator mainly for testing the klystron ceramic output window, as well as for high power microwave transmission devices. This paper describes the principle of a resonant ring and introduces the structure and property of the newly constructed traveling wave resonant ring at IHEP. Our goal is to produce a 200 MW class resonant ring at 2.856 GHz with a pulse length of 2μs and repetition rate of 25 Hz. The installation, commissioning and testing of the ring have been completed and a peak power of 200 MW at 3 μs has been achieved. The conditioning results show that all the parameters of the resonant ring reach the design goals.  相似文献

 为了老炼国家同步辐射实验室200 MeV直线加速器新陶瓷窗,制作了一个功率增益4.5,最高峰值功率60 MW的波导行波谐振环。对谐振环的工作原理和技术参数进行了简单介绍。对陶瓷窗功率老炼的步骤和应注意的技术细节进行了较详细的分析,提出了克服电子倍增效应的一些方法。陶瓷窗老炼峰值功率为30 MW,平均功率3.7 kW,脉冲长度2.5μs。  相似文献

介绍了一种X波段高峰值功率速调管的研制方案,目前该管在X波段已经实现脉冲输出功率50 MW,效率57%,脉宽达到3.6μs。通过COM法、圆波导行波窗、防晕环和陶瓷覆膜等关键技术的应用,解决了高效率、高峰值功率容量和高可靠性等难题。尤其是采用COM法优化电子注群聚,与采用二次谐波群聚法相比,在同样的高频管体长度下,可将互作用效率进一步提高10%左右。产品研制成功,将国内X波段速调管的功率水平由3 MW提升至50 MW,产品性能已达到国际先进水平。  相似文献

在半导体激光阵列侧面泵浦的Nd:YLF激光器中,利用声光调制器控制激光单向运转,消除空间烧孔效应,获得单纵模输出,通过预激光调Q获得脉宽为50ns,能量为1.2mJ的单纵模输出,理论分析的结果在实验上得到很好的验证。  相似文献

Performance scaling of passively mode-locked ultrashort-pulse fiber oscillators in terms of average power, peak power, and pulse energy is demonstrated. A very-large-mode-area fiber laser in an all-positive group-velocity-dispersion ring cavity configuration with intracavity spectral filter, mode-locked by nonlinear polarization evolution, emits 66 W of average power at 76 MHz repetition rate, corresponding to 0.9 μJ pulse energy. The pulses are dechirped to 91 fs outside the cavity with an average power of 60 W remaining after the compressor. The generated pulse peak power is as high as 7 MW.  相似文献

An experimental study of a resonance microwave (3-cm-range) compressor with gas insulation and energy output through a superdimensional coaxial interference switch is reported. The rated parameters of the compressor are output signal power ∼25 MW, signal duration 2 ns, gain 26 dB, and efficiency ∼57%. A gain of 20 dB was achieved at a peak output signal power of 12 MW, signal duration of 2 ns, efficiency of ∼24%, and traveling wave power of 24 MW.  相似文献

500 kV全固态Marx发生器采用Z型电路结构,以28个最大工作电压达22 kV、满载最高连续重复运行频率达200 Hz的绝缘栅双极型晶体管组件作为脉冲控制开关,采用以金属化膜电容器和线绕电感构成的梯形脉冲形成网络作为储能和脉冲形成器件。目前已实现500 kV脉冲输出,在50 Hz的重复频率下实现数十个脉冲的猝发输出。该发生器的输出脉冲电压峰值与已有文献报道的最高功率固态Marx发生器技术指标相近,输出脉冲电流峰值提高1倍,达到1000 A,发生器输出脉冲功率峰值达到500 MW。在采用电容器作为储能元件时,此Marx发生器输出脉冲宽度可在3~10 s范围内连续调整。  相似文献

The decrease in the transient time in a relativistic microwave traveling wave oscillator, in which the interaction is carried out between the relativistic electron beam and the fundamental harmonic of the forward-traveling electromagnetic wave slowed down to the speed of light in the hollow slow wave system system, has been numerically and experimentally demonstrated. It is shown that in this mode a high beam-to-wave coupling impedance up to ≈10 Ω is achieved, which ensures reduction of the transient time. In the experiment, a microwave peak power of 210 ± 30 MW at a frequency of 2.45 GHz in a guiding magnetic field of 0.16 T was obtained. The efficiency of the oscillator to convert the power of the electron beam into microwave power was 17 ± 3%. At the beam current pulse duration of about 50 ns the microwave pulse duration was about 20 ns and the transient time was about 22 ns.

北京大学高功率耦合器谐振环锻炼平台是对北京大学1.3 GHz超导加速器的耦合器进行高功率测试和锻炼的平台,通过谐振环与信号源谐振来产生高功率。在谐振环工作过程中,由于外界扰动会使其共振频率发生变化,故需要对谐振环路进行频率锁定,从而维持其与信号源的共振。将PDH(Pound-Drever-Hall)技术应用在此锻炼平台上,用以锁定微波信号源与谐振环的频率。实验验证表明,该PDH反馈系统能有效维持谐振环的高增益。  相似文献

The PASOTRONTM is a unique, high-power microwave source that uses a long-pulse (⩽100 μs) plasma-cathode electron-gun and plasma-filled slow-wave structure (SWS) to produce high-energy microwave pulses. The device utilizes no externally-produced magnetic fields; relying on a beam-generated plasma channel in the SWS to transport the beam. Peak powers of up to 5 MW were previously reported in C-band using a rippled-wall waveguide SWS. Scaling experiments indicated that increasing the beam voltage above the 90 kV C-band operation produces significantly higher peak powers. We report results from an L-band PASOTRONTM BWO designed to operate at 200 kV. The plasma-cathode E-gun built for this device generated beams with voltages of up to 225 kV and currents in excess of 1 kA for pulse lengths of up to 200 μs. The L-band PASOTRONTM BWO produced 10-20 MW of peak power in the TM01 mode, which was converted in the output to a TE11 mode with fixed polarization. The PASOTRON TM also directly produced TE-mode radiation in the 5-10 MW power range with a rotating output polarization, the rate of which can be controlled externally. The peak power and poise width was limited by the stability of the plasma channel at high peak powers and excessive plasma generation in the SWS during the long pulse length  相似文献

 研究了铁电材料的电子发射特性,根据实验和数值模拟结果给出了铁电发射特性的定性解释,并指出目前的几种铁电发射理论都不足以完备地解释各种实验现象。设计了Pierce型铁电阴极电子枪,实现了束流的二级压缩,其总束流大于100 A。在此基础上,分析和设计了具有盘荷波导慢波结构的相对论行波管,得到了带宽500 MHz,增益约25 dB的X波段行波放大输出。  相似文献

提出并研究了一种带状电子注矩形单栅返波振荡器。首先研究了矩形单栅慢波结构的色散特性和耦合阻抗特性,然后粒子模拟并优化设计了带状注矩形单栅高频结构,预群聚腔及输出一体化结构。研究结果表明:利用电压200kV、电压2kA、截面为24mm×0.5mm的带状电子注,驱动该矩形单栅返波振荡器,能够产生42 MW的输出功率,工作频率86GHz,效率为10.5%。  相似文献

 阐述了带有反射腔的相对论返波管的初步实验研究进展。反射腔是一段不规则的圆波导,在相对论返波管中起到截止颈的作用。初步实验的结果为:外加磁场Bz =0.82T时,输出微波功率为170MW,微波频率8.874GHz,脉宽为10ns;外加磁场Bz =1.7T时,微波功率为370MW,频率与脉宽不变;根据辐射场功率密度分布判定传输模式为TM01模。结果表明:带有反射腔的返波管在较低外加磁场下也能够工作。  相似文献

报道了一种1kHz窄脉冲宽度、高峰值功率的电光腔倒空1 064nm全固态激光器.该激光器采用808nm脉冲LD侧面泵浦Nd:YAG晶体棒的双凹型折叠谐振腔结构和同步延迟MgO∶LN晶体横向加压式电光腔倒空技术,通过优化设计谐振腔结构,在脉冲重复频率200Hz时,获得了最大单脉冲能量46.7mJ、脉冲宽度4.06ns、峰值功率11.50MW的1 064nm脉冲激光稳定输出,脉冲宽度和能量的峰峰值不稳定度分别为±1.52%和±2.02%;在1kHz时,最大单脉冲能量达到18.3mJ,脉冲宽度5.02ns,峰值功率3.69MW,脉冲宽度和能量的峰峰值不稳定度分别为±2.75%和±3.52%,激光束因子为3.849和3.868,远场发散角为3.46mrad和3.55mrad,束腰直径为1 508.84μm和1 477.30μm.  相似文献

We report experimental and theoretical results from research into high power X-band traveling wave tube amplifiers designed to eliminate sidebands caused by reflections from the output of such structures. These amplifiers have a low energy velocity, such that the time it takes a wave to be reflected from the output to the input is of the order of, or greater than, the electron beam pulse duration. The elimination of sidebands and the effects of reflections is achieved by this transit time isolation, The bandwidth of the output spectrum is limited by the low pass-band of the periodic structures. Such amplifiers have been operated at power levels of up to 160 MW at 9 GHz for 50 ns pulse durations  相似文献

A segmented flat-plate Blumlein circuit has been used to excite a travelling wave of inversion in pure nitrogen at atmospheric pressure in a 50 cm long discharge channel. UV laser emission in the forward direction was typically 200 times more intense than in the opposite direction. We present a 1.5μm continuous-wave (CW) single-frequency intracavity singly resonant optical parametric oscillator (SRO) based on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN). The SRO is placed inside the ring cavity of a single-frequency 1.06μm Nd:YVO4 laser pumped by a laser diode. The device delivers a maximum single-frequency output power of 310 mW at a resonant signal wavelength of 1.57 μm. The signal wave could be tuned from 1.57 to 1.59 μm by temperature tuning of PPLN crystal over the range of 130 - 170℃.  相似文献

HL-2A装置上建设了1套3.7GHz/2MW/2s的低杂波系统,高功率长脉冲波源使用TH2103型速调管。设计了1套可以固定探针的机构,完成了速调管配套磁体的磁场测量,得到了中心轴线上的磁场分布特性,中心磁场最强达到176mT。在不同的空间位置,3组线圈电流分别对磁场分布起主要影响。1号电源主要影响阴极附近磁场分布,同时对谐振腔也有部分影响;2号电源主要对谐振腔产生影响,同时在功率输出窗口附近有一定影响;3号电源主要在输出窗口附近有影响,其他位置影响不明显。结果为速调管工作状态优化提供了方向。  相似文献
