利用"反直觉"频率啁啾激光脉冲分析了偶能级ladder系统的布局数迁移,其中在缀饰激光场作用下N-2个中间态进行耦合.作为偶能级ladder系统的代表,我们着重分析了四能级ladder系统.研究发现如果缀饰激光场足够强且发生共振,则在能级1和能级4之间发生完全布局数迁移必须要求有一个恰当的脉冲叠加面积,调谐pump激光和stokes激光,使其中一个缀饰中间态发生共振,则可以使这个四能级系统简化为三能级系统. 相似文献

This paper reports the observation of the ultraviolet up-conversion lumines-cence phenomenon of noncrystalline ErP5O14 excited by pulse 532nm laser. The up-conversion mechanism is explained as follows, namely, when noncrystalline ErP5O14 is excited by 532nm laser, the excited population is mainly deposited in 4S3/2 level because of the strong nonradiative relaxation between 2H11/2 and 4S3/2 level, then up-converted to (2H2G)9/2 level by energy transfer between Er3+ ions, this produces the ultraviolet luminescence. 相似文献

Spectral features of a large-angle stimulated Raman scattering (LA SRS) of a short electromagnetic pulse in an underdense plasma, which are caused by the presence in a plasma of a given linear long-wavelength electron plasma wave (LW EPW), are investigated. It is shown that the LW EPW, whose phase velocity coincides with a group velocity of a pulse and a density perturbation normalized to a background electron density δnLW/n0 exceeds the ratio of the electron plasma frequency to the laser frequency ωpe/ω0 suppresses the well-known Stokes branch of the weakly coupled LA SRS. Under the same condition, the anti-Stokes band appears in the spectrum of the scattered radiation. Variation of a scattering angle and an electron temperature do not significantly modify qualitative features of the effect. In the case of strongly coupled LA SRS, the maximum of the increment is decreased by nearly one-half for δnLW/n0~(a0ωpe /ω0)2/3≫ωpe /ω0, where a0 is an amplitude of an electron quiver velocity in the laser field normalized to a speed of light c, and it decreases further with an increase in plasma density perturbation in LW EPW 相似文献

The effect of lateral structure parameters of transistors including emitter width, emitter length, and emitter stripe number on the performance parameters of the active inductor(AI), such as the effective inductance Ls, quality factor Q,and self-resonant frequency ω_0 is analyzed based on 0.35-μm Si Ge Bi CMOS process. The simulation results show that for AI operated under fixed current density JC, the HBT lateral structure parameters have significant effect on Ls but little influence on Q and ω_0, and the larger Ls can be realized by the narrow, short emitter stripe and few emitter stripes of Si Ge HBTs. On the other hand, for AI with fixed HBT size, smaller JCis beneficial for AI to obtain larger Ls, but with a cost of smaller Q and ω_0. In addition, under the fixed collector current IC, the larger the size of HBT is, the larger Ls becomes, but the smaller Q and ω_0 become. The obtained results provide a reference for selecting geometry of transistors and operational condition in the design of active inductors. 相似文献

We investigate ultrafast coherent population transfer driven by few-cycle pump and Stokes laser pulses in the Λ-type three-level
system with the stimulated Raman adiabatic passage technique beyond the rotating-wave approximation. In contrast to the case
with the rotating wave approximation, the most efficient population transfer may be realized without the satisfaction of the
one-photon resonances or two-photon resonance and the transfer efficiency depends critically on the Rabi frequencies and initial
optical phases of the two laser fields when the peak Rabi frequencies are much larger than the respective transition frequencies.
Moreover, complete and robust population transfer can still be obtained with the variations of the Rabi frequencies, pulse
durations, and one-photon or two-photon detuning in a moderate range, though a considerable transient population may reside
in the excited state. These abnormal behaviors result from the counterrotating terms, which are not taken into account in

We have achieved high average power Raman output from a compact, diode-pumped, self-stimulating Nd3+:KGd(WO4)2 Raman laser. Maximum Raman output power of 0.8 W was achieved at a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 2 kHz. The optical efficiency from diode to Raman laser was 14%. By generating extra-cavity second harmonics using a LiB3O5 crystal, it was possible to produce 0.2 W yellow output. The laser system was simulated numerically using rate equations and the results obtained were in good agreement with the experimental results. 相似文献

A high-power linearly polarized laser propagating through a plasma produces oscillatory electron velocity at the second harmonic due to-the ν&oarr;×B&oarr; force, This velocity couples a Langmuir wave (ω, k&oarr;) and an electromagnetic wave (ω1, k&oarr;1), where ω1=ω-2ω0 , k-2k&oarr;0 and ω0, k&oarr;0 are frequency and wavenumber of the laser pump, causing second harmonic Raman scattering. The growth rate is maximum for side scattering. The magnetic field dependence of the in-plane penetration depth λ|(H) for single crystal κ-(ET)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br has been measured at 3, 9.6, and 36 MHz. Over a limited range, λ| scales with a characteristic field H*(T) that coincides with a shoulder in the λ| vs. H curves. Above that field, λ| increases sharply toward a second inflection point at H**(T) that coincides with is close to the irreversibility line measured by magnetization. For fields larger than H** the penetration depth diverges, suggesting that the vortex lattice has melted. The field dependence at one frequency agrees qualitatively with a model of pinned vortices at low fields giving way to flux flow at higher fields. However, the observed frequency dependence deviates significantly from the predictions of this model, suggesting that collective effects play a major role. Our technique also yields a new measurement for the interplane penetration depth λ 300 μm, implying an anisotropy λ/λ| > 200. 相似文献

本文主要研究了调制探测激光场中铯Rydberg 原子阶梯型三能级系统的电磁感应透明(EIT) 效应. 铯原子基态6S1/2, 第一激发态6P3/2 和Rydberg 态形成阶梯型三能级系统, 探测光作用于6S1/2 (F = 4)→6P3/2(F' = 5) 的跃迁, 耦合光在Rydberg 跃迁线6P3/2→49S1/2 附近扫描, 形成Rydberg 原子EIT. 当对探测光频率施加一个几kHz 的调制时, 调制解调后的EIT 信号分裂为两个峰, 双峰间距与调制频率无关,而与调制幅度导致的失谐量大小(频率调制幅度) 成正比, 双峰间隔的一半等于探测光频率调制幅度的λp/λc = 1.67 倍. 实验结果与理论计算相一致. 本文的研究结果可应用于激光线型和频率抖动的实时监测. 相似文献

We propose a flexible way to significantly enhance population transfer efficiency with a train of time-separated pump-Stokes pulse pairs when the non-adiabatic coupling between two degenerate adiabatic states exists in a double Λ-type four-level system, where the pump and Stokes pulses in each pair can be applied in either counterintuitive or intuitive order. It is shown that the needed Rabi frequency for achieving complete population transfer can be reduced dramatically with the increase of number of pump-Stokes pulse pairs, which results from temporal constructive quantum interference between the sequential transitions and subsequent coherent accumulation; moreover, an arbitrary coherent superposition between the two lower states can be realized by suitably tuning the Rabi frequency and the time delay between each pump-Stokes pair. The method may find applications in control of chemical reactions, quantum optics, and quantum information processing. 相似文献

Using the time-dependent multilevel approach, we have calculated the
coherent population transfer between the quantum states of potassium
atom by a single frequency-chirped laser pulse. The result shows that
a pair of sequential `broadband' frequency-chirped laser pulses can
efficiently transfer population from the initial state of the ladder
system to the target state. It is also found that the population can
be efficiently transferred to a target state and trapped there by
using an `intuitive' or a `counterintuitive' frequency sweep laser
pulse in the case of `narrowband' frequency-chirped laser pulse. Our
research shows that the complete population transfer is related to

A long wavelength Langmuir wave (ω0, k0), propagating through a parabolic plasma density channel, can decay into a low-frequency mode (ω,k&oarr;) and two short wavelength Langmuir wave sidebands (ν1,2,k&oarr;1,2 ), via two-stream instability where ω1,2=ω∓ω0 and k&oarr;1,2=k&oarr;∓k&oarr;0. Depending on the mode number n, the growth rate maximizes in the range γmax≃0.1ωpi-0.4ωpi for the range of k from 0.1(ωpi/cs) to 0.2(ωpi/cx) for ν0~νth where ν0 and νth are the oscillatory and thermal velocities of electrons, ωpi is the ion plasma frequency on the axis, and cs is the sound speed. 在Y3Ga5O12石榴石中,室温下采用紫外激光选择激发光谱研究了能量从Tb3+的5D3和5D4能级无辐射传递给Ce3+的2D3/2能级。实验结果符合Frster-IH直接无辐射传递理论。5D3(Tb3+)→2D3/2(Ce3+)能量传递是电偶-偶极子相互作用机理,其平均临界传递距离为R0=16.3?,而5D4(Tb3+)→2D3/2能量传递是起主导作用的电偶-偶极子相互作用,其平均临界传递距离为11.2?。在5D4的传递过程中,电偶-四极子相互作用也应予以考虑。
