In this paper, necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the irregular shearlet systems to be frames are studied. We show that the irregular shearlet systems to possess upper frame bounds, the space‐scale‐shear parameters must be relatively separated. We prove that if the irregular shearlet systems possess the lower frame bound and the space‐scale‐shear parameters satisfy certain condition, then the lower shearlet density is strictly positive. We apply these results to systems consisting only of dilations, obtaining some new results relating density to the frame properties of these systems. We prove that for a feasible class of shearlet generators introduced by P. Kittipoom et al., each relatively separated sequence with sufficiently hight density will generate a frame. Explicit frame bounds are given. We also study the stability of shearlet frames and show that a frame generated by certain shearlet function remains a frame when the space‐scale‐shear parameters and the generating function undergo small perturbations. Explicit stability bounds are given. Using pseudo‐spline functions of type I and II, we construct a family of irregular shearlet frames consisting of compactly supported shearlets to illustrate our results.  相似文献

A notion of Paley-Wiener spaces on combinatorial graphs is introduced. It is shown that functions from some of these spaces are uniquely determined by their values on some sets of vertices which are called the uniqueness sets. Such uniqueness sets are described in terms of Poincare-Wirtinger-type inequalities. A reconstruction algorithm of Paley-Wiener functions from uniqueness sets which uses the idea of frames in Hilbert spaces is developed. Special consideration is given to the -dimensional lattice, homogeneous trees, and eigenvalue and eigenfunction problems on finite graphs.

Stability theorems for Fourier frames and wavelet Riesz bases   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
In this paper we present two applications of a Stability Theorem of Hilbert frames to nonharmonic Fourier series and wavelet Riesz basis. The first result is an enhancement of the Paley-Wiener type constant for nonharmonic series given by Duffin and Schaefer in [6] and used recently in some applications (see [3]). In the case of an orthonormal basis, our estimate reduces to Kadec’ optimal 1/4 result. The second application proves that a phenomenon discovered by Daubechies and Tchamitchian [4] for the orthonormal Meyer wavelet basis (stability of the Riesz basis property under small changes of the translation parameter) actually holds for a large class of wavelet Riesz bases.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the feasibility and stability of recovering signals in finite-dimensional spaces from unordered partial frame coefficients. We prove that with an almost self-located robust frame, any signal except from a Lebesgue measure zero subset can be recovered from its unordered partial frame coefficients. However, the recovery is not necessarily stable with almost self-located robust frames. We propose a new class of frames, namely self-located robust frames, that ensures stable recovery for any input signal with unordered partial frame coefficients. In particular, the recovery is exact whenever the received unordered partial frame coefficients are noise-free. We also present some characterizations and constructions for (almost) self-located robust frames. Based on these characterizations and construction algorithms, we prove that any randomly generated frame is almost surely self-located robust. Moreover, frames generated with cube roots of different prime numbers are also self-located robust.  相似文献

For any given frame (for the purpose of encoding) in a finite dimensional Hilbert space, we investigate its dual frames that are optimal for erasures (for the purpose of decoding). We show that in general the canonical dual is not necessarily optimal. Moreover, optimal dual frames are not necessarily unique. We present some sufficient conditions under which the canonical dual is the unique optimal dual frame for the erasure problem. As an application, we get that the canonical dual is the only optimal dual when either the frame is induced by a group representation or the frame is uniform tight.  相似文献

In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions under which perturbations preserve Hilbert frames and near-Riesz bases. Similar results are also extended to frame sequences, Riesz sequences and Schauder frames. Harmonic frames of prime order are investigated. The primary focus is the enumeration of inequivalent harmonic frames, with the exact number given by a recursive formula. The key to this result is a one-to-one correspondence developed between inequivalent harmonic frames and the orbits of a particular set. Secondarily, the symmetry group of prime order harmonic frames is shown to contain a subgroup consisting of a diagonal matrix as well as a permutation matrix, each of which is dependent on the particular harmonic frame in question.  相似文献

We define the symmetry group of a finite frame as a group of permutations on its index set. This group is closely related to the symmetry group of Vale and Waldron (2005) [12] for tight frames: they are isomorphic when the frame is tight and has distinct vectors. The symmetry group is the same for all similar frames, in particular for a frame, its dual and canonical tight frames. It can easily be calculated from the Gramian matrix of the canonical tight frame. Further, a frame and its complementary frame have the same symmetry group. We exploit this last property to construct and classify some classes of highly symmetric tight frames.  相似文献

An exact meet in a lattice is a special type of infimum characterized by, inter alia, distributing over finite joins. In frames, the requirement that a meet is preserved by all frame homomorphisms makes for a slightly stronger property. In this paper we study the stability of(p,Y)-operator frames.We firstly discuss the relations between p-Bessel sequences(or p-frames) and(p,Y)-operator Bessel sequences(or(p,Y)-operator frames).Through defining a new union,we prove that adding some elements to a given(p,Y)-operator frame,the resulted sequence will be still a(p,Y)-operator frame.We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a sequence of compound operators to be a(p,Y)operator frame.Lastly,we show that(p,Y)-operator frames for X are stable under some small perturbations.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to investigate the question of modifying a given generalized Bessel sequence to yield a generalized frame or a tight generalized frame by finite extension. In this paper, we introduce pair frames in Hilbert \(C^*\)-modules and show that they share many useful properties with their corresponding notions in Hilbert spaces. We also obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for a standard Bessel sequence to construct a pair frame and get the necessary and sufficient conditions for a Hilbert \(C^*\)-module to admit a pair frame with a symbol and two standard Bessel sequences. Moreover by generalizing some of the results obtained for Bessel multipliers in Hilbert \(C^*\)-modules to pair frames and considering the stability of pair frames under invertible operators, we construct new pair frames and show that pair frames are stable under small perturbations.  相似文献

Oversampling and preservation of tightness in affine frames   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The problem of how an oversampling of translations affects the bounds of an affine frame has been proposed by Chui and Shi. In particular, they proved that tightness is preserved if the oversampling factor is coprime with the dilation factor. In this paper we study, in the dyadic dilation case, oversampling of translation by factors which do not satisfy the above condition, and prove that tightness is preserved only in the case of affine frames generated by wavelets having frequency support with very particular properties.

In this paper we investigate the connection between fusion frames and obtain a relation between indexes of the synthesis operators of a Besselian fusion frame and associated frame to it. Next we introduce a new notion of a Riesz fusion bases in a Hilbert space. We show that any Riesz fusion basis is equivalent with a orthonormal fusion basis. We also obtain generalizations of Theorem 4.6 of [1]. Our results generalize results obtained for Riesz bases in Hilbert spaces. Finally we obtain some results about stability of fusion frame sequences under small perturbations.  相似文献

Perfect compactifications of frames are introduced. It is shown that the Stone-Čech compactification is an example of such a compactification. We also introduce rim-compact frames and for such frames we define its Freudenthal compactification, another example of a perfect compactification. The remainder of a rim-compact frame in its Freudenthal compactification is shown to be zero-dimensional. It is shown that with the assumption of the Boolean Ultrafilter Theorem the Freudenthal compactification for spaces, as well as the Freudenthal-Morita Theorem for spaces, can be obtained from our frame constructions.  相似文献
