It is found that two different celebrate models, the Korteweg de‐Vrise (KdV) equation and the Boussinesq equation, are linked to a same model equation but with different nonlocalities. The nonlocal KdV equation can be derived in two ways, via the so‐called consistent correlated bang companied by the parity and time reversal from the local KdV equation and via the parity and time reversal symmetry reduction from a coupled local KdV system which is a two‐layer fluid model. The same model can be called as the nonlocal Boussinesq system if the nonlocality is changed as only one of parity and time reversal. The nonlocal Boussinesq equation can be derived via the parity or time reversal symmetry reduction from the local Boussinesq equation. For the nonlocal Boussinesq equation, with help of the bilinear approach and recasting the multisoliton solutions of the usual Boussinesq equation to an equivalent novel form, the multisoliton solutions with even numbers and the head on interactions are obtained. However, the multisoliton solutions with odd numbers and the multisoliton solutions with even numbers but with pursuant interactions are prohibited. For the nonlocal KdV equation, the multisoliton solutions exhibit many more structures because an arbitrary odd function of can be introduced as background waves of the usual KdV equation.  相似文献

In this letter, based on the Lax pair of the Ablowitz–Kaup–Newell–Segur (AKNS) system, the nonlocal symmetry is obtained and successfully localized to a Lie point symmetry by introducing an appropriate auxiliary dependent variable. For the closed prolongation, the construction for the one-dimensional optimal system is presented in detail. Furthermore, using the obtained optimal system, we give the reductions and the explicit analytic interaction solutions between cnoidal waves and solitary waves. For some interesting solutions, the figures are given to show their properties.  相似文献

Symmetry groups, symmetry reductions, optimal system, conservation laws and invariant solutions of the shallow water wave equation with nonlocal term are studied. First, Lie symmetries based on the invariance criterion for nonlocal equations and the solution approach for nonlocal determining equations are found and then the reduced equations and optimal system are obtained. Finally, new conservation laws are generated and some similarity solutions for symmetry reduction forms are discussed.  相似文献

We apply the group theory to Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Burgers (KPBII) equation which is a natural model for the propagation of the two-dimensional damped waves. In correspondence with the generators of the symmetry group allowed by the equation, new types of symmetry reductions are performed. Some new exact solutions are obtained, which can be in the form of solitary waves and periodic waves. Specially, our solutions indicate that the equation may have time-dependent nonlinear shears. Such exact explicit solutions and symmetry reductions are important in both applications and the theory of nonlinear science.  相似文献

Ablowitz and Musslimani proposed some new nonlocal nonlinear integrable equations including the nonlocal integrable nonlinear Schr?dinger equation. In this paper, we investigate the Darboux transformation of coupled nonlocal nonlinear Schr?dinger(CNNLS) equation with a spectral problem. Starting from a special Lax pairs, the CNNLS equation is constructed. Then, we obtain the one-, two-and N-soliton solution formulas of the CNNLS equation with N-fold Darboux transformation. Based on the obtained solutions, the propagation and interaction structures of these multi-solitons are shown, the evolution structures of the one-dark and one-bright solitons are exhibited with N = 1,and the overtaking elastic interactions among the two-dark and two-bright solitons are considered with N = 2. The obtained results are different from those of the solutions of the local nonlinear equations. Some different propagation phenomena can also be produced through manipulating multi-soliton waves. The results in this paper might be helpful for understanding some physical phenomena described in plasmas.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the traveling waves and entire solutions for a delayed nonlocal dispersal equation with convolution- type crossing-monostable nonlinearity. We first establish the existence of non-monotone traveling waves. By Ikehara’s Tauberian theorem, we further prove the asymptotic behavior of traveling waves, including monotone and non-monotone ones. Then, based on the obtained asymptotic behavior, the uniqueness of the traveling waves is proved. Finally, the entire solutions are considered. By introducing two auxiliary monostable equations and establishing some comparison arguments for the three equations, some new types of entire solutions are constructed via the traveling wavefronts and spatially independent solutions of the auxiliary equations.  相似文献

We consider the fully parity‐time (PT) symmetric nonlocal (2 + 1)‐dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with respect to x and y. By using Hirota's bilinear method, we derive the N‐soliton solutions of the nonlocal NLS equation. By using the resulting N‐soliton solutions and employing long wave limit method, we derive its nonsingular rational solutions and semi‐rational solutions. The rational solutions act as the line rogue waves. The semi‐rational solutions mean different types of combinations in rogue waves, breathers, and periodic line waves. Furthermore, in order to easily understand the dynamic behaviors of the nonlocal NLS equation, we display some graphics to analyze the characteristics of these solutions.  相似文献

This paper mainly focuses on the entire solutions of a nonlocal dispersal equation with asymmetric kernel and bistable nonlinearity. Compared with symmetric case, the asymmetry of the dispersal kernel function makes more diverse types of entire solutions since it can affect the sign of the wave speeds and the symmetry of the corresponding nonincreasing and nondecreasing traveling waves. We divide the bistable case into two monostable cases by restricting the range of the variable, and obtain some merging-front entire solutions which behave as the coupling of monostable and bistable waves. Before this, we characterize the classification of the wave speeds so that the entire solutions can be constructed more clearly. Especially, we investigate the influence of the asymmetry of the kernel on the minimal and maximal wave speeds.  相似文献

In this paper, the nonlocal symmetries and exact interaction solutions of the variable coefficient Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation are studied. With the help of pseudo-potential, we construct the high order nonlocal symmetries of the time-dependent coefficient KdV equation for the first time. In order to construct the new exact interaction solutions, two auxiliary variables are introduced, which can transform nonlocal symmetries into Lie point symmetries. Furthermore, using the Lie point symmetries of the closed system, some exact interaction solutions are obtained. For some interesting solutions, such as the soliton–cnoidal wave solutions are discussed in detail, and the corresponding 2D and 3D figures are given to illustrate their dynamic behavior.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal symmetries of variable coefficient Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur(AKNS) system are studied for the first time. In order to construct some new analytic solutions, a new variable is introduced, which can transform nonlocal symmetries into Lie point symmetries. Furthermore, using the Lie point symmetries of closed system, we give out two types of symmetry reductions and some analytic solutions. For some interesting solutions, such as interaction solutions among solitons and other complicated waves, we give corresponding images to describe their dynamic behavior.  相似文献

Waves with constant, nonzero linearized frequency form an interesting class of nondispersive waves whose properties differ from those of nondispersive hyperbolic waves. We propose an inviscid Burgers‐Hilbert equation as a model equation for such waves and give a dimensional argument to show that it models Hamiltonian surface waves with constant frequency. Using the method of multiple scales, we derive a cubically nonlinear, quasi‐linear, nonlocal asymptotic equation for weakly nonlinear solutions. We show that the same asymptotic equation describes surface waves on a planar discontinuity in vorticity in two‐dimensional inviscid, incompressible fluid flows. Thus, the Burgers‐Hilbert equation provides an effective equation for these waves. We describe the Hamiltonian structure of the Burgers‐Hilbert and asymptotic equations, and show that the asymptotic equation can also be derived by means of a near‐identity transformation. We derive a semiclassical approximation of the asymptotic equation and show that spatially periodic, harmonic traveling waves are linearly and modulationally stable. Numerical solutions of the Burgers‐Hilbert and asymptotic equations are in excellent agreement in the appropriate regime. In particular, the lifespan of small‐amplitude smooth solutions of the Burgers‐Hilbert equation is given by the cubically nonlinear timescale predicted by the asymptotic equation. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In this article, a porous medium equation with nonlocal boundary condition and a localized source is studied. The results of the existence of global solutions or blow-up of solutions are given. The blow-up rate estimates are also obtained under some conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, the partially party‐time () symmetric nonlocal Davey–Stewartson (DS) equations with respect to x is called x‐nonlocal DS equations, while a fully symmetric nonlocal DSII equation is called nonlocal DSII equation. Three kinds of solutions, namely, breather, rational, and semirational solutions for these nonlocal DS equations are derived by employing the bilinear method. For the x‐nonlocal DS equations, the usual (2 + 1)‐dimensional breathers are periodic in x direction and localized in y direction. Nonsingular rational solutions are lumps, and semirational solutions are composed of lumps, breathers, and periodic line waves. For the nonlocal DSII equation, line breathers are periodic in both x and y directions with parallels in profile, but localized in time. Nonsingular rational solutions are (2 + 1)‐dimensional line rogue waves, which arise from a constant background and disappear into the same constant background, and this process only lasts for a short period of time. Semirational solutions describe interactions of line rogue waves and periodic line waves.  相似文献

This article is devoted to the study of nonlinear fractional Schrödinger equation with a Gaussian nonlocal response. We firstly prove the existence of solitary wave solutions by using the variational method and Mountain Pass Theorem. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the findings of the existence theorem. And we also investigate the impacts of Gaussian nonlocal response and fractional-order derivatives on the solitary waves, which enable us to perform control experiments for the development of rogue waves in quantum mechanics and optics.  相似文献

Under investigation in this work is a longitudinal wave motion equation, which describes the solitary waves propagation with dispersion caused by transverse Poisson’s effect in a magneto-electro-elastic circular rod. The Lie symmetry method is employed to study its vector fields and optimal systems, respectively. Furthermore, the symmetry reductions and eight families of soliton wave solutions of the equation are obtained on the basis of the optimal systems, including hyperbolic-type and trigonometric-type solutions. Two of reduced equations are Painlevé-like equations. Finally, by virtue of conservation law multiplier, the complete set of local conservation laws of the equation for the arbitrary constant coefficients is well constructed with a detailed derivation.  相似文献

By means of the generalized direct method, a relationship is constructed between the new solutions and the old ones of the Bogoyavlensky-Konoplechenko equation. Based on the relationship, a new solution is obtained by using a given solution of the equation. The symmetry is also obtained for the BK equation. Then we get the reductions using the symmetry and give some exact solutions of the BK equation.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal reductions of the Ablowitz–Kaup–Newell–Suger (AKNS) hierarchy are collected, including the nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger hierarchy, nonlocal modified Korteweg‐de Vries hierarchy, and nonlocal versions of the sine‐Gordon equation in nonpotential form. A reduction technique for solutions is employed, by which exact solutions in double Wronskian form are obtained for these reduced equations from those double Wronskian solutions of the AKNS hierarchy. As examples of dynamics, we illustrate new interaction of two‐soliton solutions of the reverse‐t nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Although as a single soliton, it is stationary that two solitons travel along completely symmetric trajectories in plane and their amplitudes are affected by phase parameters. Asymptotic analysis is given as demonstration. The approach and relation described in this paper are systematic and general and can be used to other nonlocal equations.  相似文献

Classifications of symmetries and conservation laws are presented for a variety of physically and analytically interesting wave equations with power nonlinearities in n spatial dimensions: a radial hyperbolic equation, a radial Schrödinger equation and its derivative variant, and two proposed radial generalizations of modified Korteweg-de Vries equations, as well as Hamiltonian variants. The mains results classify all admitted local point symmetries and all admitted local conserved densities depending on up to first order spatial derivatives, including any that exist only for special powers or dimensions. All such cases for which these wave equations admit, in particular, dilational energies or conformal energies and inversion symmetries are determined. In addition, potential systems arising from the classified conservation laws are used to determine nonlocal symmetries and nonlocal conserved quantities admitted by these equations. As illustrative applications, a discussion is given of energy norms, conserved Hs norms, critical powers for blow-up solutions, and one-dimensional optimal symmetry groups for invariant solutions.  相似文献

For the nonlocal Davey–Stewartson I equation, the Darboux transformation is considered and explicit expressions of the solutions are obtained. Like other nonlocal equations, many solutions of this equation may have singularities. However, by suitable choice of parameters in the solutions of the Lax pair, it is proved that the solutions obtained from seed solutions which are zero and an exponential function of t , respectively, by a Darboux transformation of degree n are global solutions of the nonlocal Davey–Stewartson I equation. The derived solutions are soliton solutions when the seed solution is zero, in the sense that they are bounded and have n peaks, and “dark cross soliton” solutions when the seed solution is an exponential function of t , in the sense that they are bounded and their norms change fast along some crossing straight lines.  相似文献
