In shock-wave lithotripsy – a medical procedure to fragment kidney stones – the patient is subjected to hypersonic waves focused at the kidney stone. Although this procedure is widely applied, the physics behind this medical treatment, in particular the question of how the injuries of the surrounding kidney tissue arise, is still under investigation. Here we contribute to the solution of this problem with large scale numerical simulations of a human kidney under shock-wave loading. For this purpose we developed a complex constitutive model of the bio-mechanical kidney system. Assuming a multiplicative decomposition of the deformation gradient and adopting an internal variable formulation for the inelastic deformation the model is able to handle large deformations, time-effects, rate-sensitivity and material damage. By finite element simulations we study the shock-wave propagation into the kidney tissue and analyze the resulting stress states. Unknown material parameters are adapted and special attention is paid on the bubble expansion within the soft tissue. 为了分析及深入探讨混凝土在受拉加载及卸载情况下的力学特性,基于随机损伤本构关系提出了一种混凝土轴拉加卸载模型,推导出了混凝土加卸载的应力 应变关系表达式.为了印证理论表达式,进行了混凝土轴向拉伸及加卸载的试验研究,测得了混凝土的材料参数及其相应的轴拉加卸载应力-应变曲线.结合模型的计算结果,对混凝土的轴拉加卸载试验结果进行了对比分析,结果表明:混凝土轴拉加卸载模型能够预测混凝土的极限强度,同时能描述混凝土的强度软化、加载过程中的弹模折减及卸载后的塑性变形.  相似文献

以混合物理论为基础建立了高温作用下混凝土的热-水-力耦合损伤分析模型.将混凝土视为由固体骨架、液态水、水蒸气、干燥气体和溶解气体共5种组分构成的混合物,模型的宏观平衡方程包括各组分的质量守恒方程、整体的能量守恒方程及动量守恒方程,模型所需的状态方程及本构关系全部给出,最后给出基于4个主要参数(固体骨架位移、气压力、毛细压力和温度)的控制方程.模型考虑了混凝土在高温作用下,水分的蒸发与冷凝、胶结材料的水化及脱水、溶解气的溶解与挥发等相变过程;从材料变形破坏过程中能量耗散特征入手,基于Lemaitre应变等价性假说和能量守恒原理得到力学损伤演化方程,并考虑了高温引起的热损伤对材料力学性能及力学损伤演化规律的影响,建立了热-力耦合损伤本构模型.  相似文献

For a reliable prediction of the mechanical behavior of unidirectional fiber-reinforced composite laminates (FRCL), it is inevitable to take into account various damage and fracture mechanisms. In this work, delamination under arbitrary mixedmode loading conditions is examined in the framework of the finite element method. Delamination is assumed to be caused by failure of the resin-rich area in the interface between two layers of FRCL's. In this work, a cohesive interface elementin terms of natural stress-strain relationships which allows to describe the interlaminar mechanical behavior of FRCL's is introduced. The proposed model prevents the restoration of cohesion in the interface. The interpenetration of the crack faces is avoided by incorporating a simple contact algorithm. The linear crack located at the bimaterial interface between dissimilar homogeneous linearly elastic materials under normally incident harmonic tension-compression wave is considered in the study. The problem is solved by the method of boundary integral equations using an iterative algorithm. High speed railway brakes transfer a large amount of kinetic energy into heat during the brake operation. Due to its design one major problem is tapered wear, which could significantly reduce brake performance and safety as well as increase aftermarket costs. Modeling and simulation of these brake systems is rather complicated with respect to the coupled multiphysics, multiscaled phenomena, friction and wear, especially on long time scale. Here, we present the so-called Efficient Thermo-Kinematic (ETK) model, which include the complexities of the multiphysics of the brake process in the efficient way. Using this model, we are able to proceed the simulation of the brake dynamics in long-time scale. The partial differential equations are derived based on the coupled manner. The simulation with ETK model shows reasonable results with very fast computational time. The ratio of computing time to real time can reach 1:2000 (with a standard personal computer). Thus, investigations on tapered wear can be performed not only in one brake operation but in many times of brake operations. 2-D fracture dynamics' problems for elastic bimaterials with cracks located at the bonding interface under the oblique time harmonic wave are considered in the study. The system of boundary integral equations for displacements and tractions is derived from Somigliana identity taking the contact interaction of the opposite crack faces into account. For the numerical solution the collocation method with piecewise constant approximation is used. 为了尽可能有效和准确地描述混凝土材料的非线性力学特性,在研究国内外混凝土损伤本构模型的基础上,基于连续介质损伤力学和不可逆热力学的理论框架,采用统一强度理论作为屈服破坏准则,分别定义拉、压双标量损伤来考虑材料的拉、压迥异特性,同时引入反向加载影响因子以修正拉压交替循环加载时材料的单边效应,以及多轴应力状态下拉、压损伤累积的相互影响,最终采用显式积分算法建立了一种改进的混凝土弹塑性损伤本构模型.不同素混凝土加载试验模拟结果初步验证了建议模型的有效性,而通过对含I型裂缝的混凝土简支梁试验进行数值分析,结果表明,所得的荷载 挠度曲线与试验结果吻合良好,进一步检验了模型应用于结构非线性分析的有效性.  相似文献
