布莱恩(J.B.Bryan)建议的应用一例

阿贝(Abbe)原则是进行长度测量的指导性原则。它指出:若要得到正确的测量结果,必须将仪器的读教刻度尺放在被测尺寸线的延长线上.根据此原则,制造了阿贝比长仪,进行绝对测量.一般测长仪器的测量值,可用下式表示式中S为刻度尺到被测物的垂直距离,,△θ为量爪的角位移.如图1所示,可见误差由S和△θ这两个因素引出.阿贝原则恰能使S=0. 由于阿贝原则难于应用于一般测量仪器,故布莱恩建议修改阿贝原则:位移测量系统工作点的路程应和被测位移作用点的路程位于一条直线上;或者必须使传送位移的导轨没有角运动,或者必须用实际角运动的数据计算偏移…     

Comment on “Quantum telegraph: is it possible?” by B.B. Kadomtsev (Phys. Lett. A 210 (1996) 371)

The possibility of a quantum telegraph using the so-called Sokolov effect is reexamined under the fundamental principle of quantum mechanics. The conclusion is negative.     

The early scientific work (1976–2000) of E.K.U. Gross

I review the scientific production of Eberhard K.U. Gross (Hardy Gross) in the first 25 years of his scientific career, from his study time at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main to the time he moved to the Free University of Berlin, as Full Professor. In between there was a fruitful period, in which he worked at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with Walter Kohn, the “father” of Density Functional Theory (DFT). DFT has been the permanent tool of Hardy Gross research. His main achievement in the considered period is the proof of an existence theorem for the Time-Dependent Density Functional (TDDFT) and the search for application schemes in atoms, molecules and solids, starting with linear response. He made notable contributions to the application of DFT and TDDFT to superconductors, in static and dynamic cases.     

瑞士恩斯特教授(R.R.Ernst)荣获1991年诺贝尔化学奖

Richard R.Ernst 教授 1933年生于瑞士Winterhur。他在苏黎世瑞士联邦高等工学院(ETH)化学系毕业后,于1958—1962年在母校物理化学教研室师从Hans Primas教授,攻读博士学位。从1963年到1968年,他在美国加州Varian Asc.公司工作,其间他开发了付氏变换核磁共振(NMR)方法。1968年起,他一直领导ETH—研究组,从事NMR和顺磁共振(ESR)的方法研究,他担任过讲师、助教授、副教授。1976年任教授至今。他曾获1969年Ruzicka奖、1983年国际医学磁共振学会金奖、1985年瑞士洛

(Zn.Cd)(S.Se)的场致发光性质

本文提出以(Zn,cd)(S,Se)为基质的具有红色場致发光的发光材料的研究结果。 研究了辐射光谱分布和发光亮度与发光材料基质组分的数量比和发光材料的使用条件(激发場的频率和温度)的关系。
