Pr-substituted (Dy1−xPrx)BaSrCu3O7−δ (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.7) has been investigated for its superconducting and elastic properties. Structural transition from orthorhombic to tetragonal symmetry is observed at x=0.1. Temperature-dependent sound velocity was measured using the pulse-echo overlap method. Elastic anomalies in the form of lattice stiffening with decreasing temperature were observed above 200 K. These anomalies were attributed to oxygen vacancy orderings in the Cu(1)O plane and also depended on the configurational state of oxygen orderings which is strongly influenced by Pr-doping.  相似文献

We have studied the structural, electrical, and magnetic properties of the normal and superconducting states Gd(Ba2-xLax)Cu3O7+ [Gd(BaLa)123] samples with 0.0 x 0.8 prepared by the standard solid-state reaction. XRD characterization shows an orthorhombic-tetragonal structural transition at x=0.2. Iodometric titration analysis shows the oxygen content of the samples increase with the increase of La doping. The resistivity curves show that for x0.15, there is metallic behavior, and for x0.2, there is a gradual insulating transition behavior in the normal state. The metal-insulator and superconductor-insulator transitions occur between x=0.35 and x=0.4. The superconducting transition temperature decreases with the increase of La content as two-step curve. The normal-state resistivity is fitted for two and three dimensional variable range hopping (2D&3D-VRH) and Coulomb gap (CG) regimes, separately. The results show that the dominant mechanism is CG for x0.35, and VRH for x0.4. The pinning energy U, derived from the thermally activated flux creep (TAFC) model and Ambegaokar-Halperin (AH) theory, shows a power-law relation as UH -. The critical current density decreases with the increase of La doping and magnetic field. The E-J curves show that the induced electric field increases with the increase of magnetic field and La concentration. The magnetization measurements indicate that the critical penetration fields and magnetic current density decrease with La doping.  相似文献

The c-axis single-phase YBa2Cu3O7- films ( = 0-0.15) on sapphire substrates prepared by the laser ablation technique and the band-pass stripline resonators for 34 GHz-range have been investigated. Increasing disorientation of mosaic block structure of YBa2Cu3O7- films is related to increasing surface resistance Rs at 135 GHz-range and decreasing unloaded quality factor Qo of linear stripline resonators. The linear dependence between the YBa2Cu3O7- film mosaicity (M) and half-width B1 of 00.13 reflecting component is determined. The reflection spreading is due to microstrains resulted mainly from the coherent adjustment of the YBa2Cu3O7- film lattice to GdBa2Cu3O7- sub-layer and sapphire substrate. Increasing number of the block characterized by a weak radial lattice adjustment () is demonstrated by spreading of 00.13 reflection. It is found out that depends on the Bragg angle of reflection due to inhomogenity of YBa2Cu3O7- mosaic structure, which resulted from the gradual mosaicity decreasing with the depth.  相似文献

A dimer radical possessing two anisotropically equivalent phosphorus atoms has been conclusively identified in γ-irradiated trimethyl phosphite, its E.S.R. spectrum consisting basically of four lines due to the large second-order splitting of the central component. In the powder spectrum of the γ-irradiated glass the central features are obscured by overlapping signals from other radicals. However, the downfield (1, 0) feature was clearly revealed by suppressing the formation of the interfering P(OCH3)2 radical through the inclusion of methyl bromide in the sample. The E.S.R. spectrum of a γ-irradiated single crystal is very well resolved and three complete sets of lines can be assigned unequivocally to chemically non-equivalent dimers. The spectra of two of the dimers undergo site splitting such that the symmetry elements for each pair of magnetically distinguishable sites are related. In addition, each of the lines belonging to these two dimer spectra is flanked by a pair of ‘spin-flip’ satellites at high microwave power. Chemical and structural evidence strongly suggests that the dimer is the centrosymmetric cation (CH3O)3P-P(OCH3)3/+, the unpaired electron occupying a σ* orbital built from the 3s and 3p orbitals of the two phosphorus atoms with a p/s hybridization ratio of approximately 2. The chemical non-equivalence of the dimers may result from slight differences in this hybridization ratio.  相似文献

Magnetic nanofibers of ZnFe2O4/γ-Fe2O3 composite were synthesized by electrospinning from a sol-gel solution containing a molar ratio (Fe/Zn) of 3. The effects of the calcination temperature on phase composition, particle size and magnetic properties have been investigated. Zinc ferrite fibers were obtained by calcinating the electrospun fibers in air from 300 to 800 °C and characterized by thermogravimetric analyses, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoemission spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, vibration sample magnetometry and magnetic force microscopy. The resulting fibers, with diameters ranging from 90 to 150 nm, were ferrimagnetic with high saturation magnetization as compared to bulk. An increase in the calcination temperature resulted in an increase in particle size and saturation magnetization. The observed increase in saturation magnetization was most likely due to the formation and growth of ZnFe2O4/γ-Fe2O3 diphase crystals. The highest saturation magnetization (45 emu/g) was obtained for fibers calcined at 800 °C.  相似文献

Ultrasonic longitudinal and shear wave velocities were measured for superconducting and non-superconducting DyBaSrCu3O7−δ (Dy-1113) at 10 MHz between 80 and 270 K. The superconducting sample exhibits a step-like elastic anomaly between 190 and 230 K. No elastic anomaly was observed in the non-superconducting Dy-1113. The anomaly observed in the superconducting sample is attributed to structural phase transition caused by oxygen orderings.  相似文献

We have studied the structure of a stable vicinal SrTiO3(001) surface by UHV scanning tunneling microscopy. We find that the regular nanoscale step structure on the vicinal surface strongly influences the growth of c-axis-orientedYBa2Cu3O7 − δ (YBCO) thin films. It generates an almost periodic surface structure of the YBCO films. This substrate-mediated control of the film growth is particularly important, because the resultant YBCO microstructure leads to an in-plane anisotropy of the transport properties in the high-temperature superconducting material.  相似文献

Glasses of general formula xSb2O3 (1−x)B2O3 (0x0.8) have been prepared by conventional melt- quenching. Mössbauer spectroscopy shows that a fraction of the Sb3+ is converted to Sb5+ and this fraction increases with x. High-field 11B MAS NMR gives well-resolved resonances from boron atoms which are 3- and 4-coordinated to oxygen. The fraction of 4-coordinated boron, N4, goes through a maximum value of 0.12±0.01 at x=0.5. The position of the maximum in N4 is consistent with the cation potential for Sb3+, as observed for other systems. However, the low value of N4 at this maximum is not so readily explained. The values are similar to those predicted if [BO4] were stabilised by [SbO4]+ but the trends with composition are different.  相似文献

We have prepared a series of bulk polycrystalline samples with the nominal compositions (YBa2Cu3O7)1?x(Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3)x (x = 0–1) by a conventional solid-state reaction method using the larger difference in sintering temperature of the two constituent oxides and a well conceived sintering sequence. XRD patterns show that the samples are composites consisting of YBa2Cu3O7 and Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3 particles with average grain size of ~65 nm. For x ? 0.55, with increasing x, the zero-resistance superconducting transition temperature, TC0, measured at zero magnetic field decreases and the normal state resistivity increases rapidly. The TC0 for the sample with x  0.48 is estimated to be 0 K. The MH hysteresis loops indicate the coexistence of ferromagnetism and superconductivity in the samples. The depression of TC0 can be attributed to the proximity effect between ferromagnetism and superconductivity.  相似文献

We have studied the superconducting transitions of Y1Ba2Cu3D x O7–x samples where O has been replaced by D=F, S, or Cl andx=0.2-2. No single phase compounds were obtained forx>0.2. No dramatic increase inT c was registered. Generally the results can be interpreted as a dilution of the highT c 1 2 3 phase by other phases as the dopant concentration increases, ultimately suppressingT c completely. Possibly there is an increase ofT c for an intermediate dopant range,x, in the Cl series.  相似文献

Core level and valence band photoemission spectra of the 124 superconductor ErBa2Cu4O8 are investigated using MgK , HeI, and HeII radiation and compared with photoemission spectra of orthorhombic YBa2Cu3O7 and tetragonal YBa2Cu3O6.2 samples. It is found that the Cu 2p 3/2 core level and the UPS valence band spectra of ErBa2Cu4O8 and YBa2Cu3O7 are very similar but differ significantly from those of YBa2Cu3O6.2. From the resemblance between the ErBa2Cu4O8 and YBa2Cu3O7 spectra it follows that the electronic structures of these two compounds are closely related in spite of an additional CuO chain in the 124 phase. The differences between the YBa2Cu3O6.2 spectra and the other spectra are explained by the the presence of monovalent copper at the crystallographic Cu(1) sites. The Cu 2p 3/2 lineshapes of the here studied superconductors and some CuII compounds are discussed.  相似文献

The interactions between YBa2Cu3O7– superconducting films and ZrO2 substrates with different crystal orientations were investigated. Our results show that the crystal orientation of the substrate influences the orientations of the YBa2Cu3O7– crystals, whose c-axis have preferential orientations parallel to the surface of 100 ZrO2 substrates. The copper segregation in Y-Ba-Cu-O/ZrO2 films results from substrate reactions. Y, Ba, and Cu atoms diffusing into substrates were detected by AES and RBS techniques. A thin silver film evaporated on ZrO2 substrate as a buffer layer effectively slows down or eliminates the substrate interactions. The strong preferential c-axis orientation perpendicular to the substrate surface has been observed in the YBa2Cu3O7– /Ag/ZrO2 samples.This work has been supported by Science Foundation of Academia Sinica  相似文献

In this study, (SBA-15)–Eu2O3 host-guest composites have been prepared with SBA-15 mesoporous sieve as host and Eu2O3 as guest via the solid-phase ultrasonic method and liquid-phase medium ultrasonic method. The host–guest composite materials showed the properties of luminescence. Four excitation peaks appeared in the excitation spectra of the samples. The excitation peaks are located at 397, 415, 466, 537 nm; 392, 408, 464, 532 nm and 393, 406, 465, 533 nm for the nano-Eu2O3, the liquid-phase medium ultrasonic method (LPMUM) and the solid-phase ultrasonic method (SPUM) samples, respectively. SBA-15 has the well-ordered hexagonal arrays of mesopores, which makes centrosymmetry of Eu3+ higher in the prepared (SBA-15)–Eu2O3 samples. The intensity of 5D07F1 transition strengthens, and the intensity of 5D07F2 transition weakens.  相似文献

Sm2O3, Gd2O3, Eu2O3 triple-doped Bi2O3 based quaternary solid solutions were synthesized as a candidate electrolyte material using the solid-state reaction technique. The structural, thermal and electrical conductivity features of the ceramic samples were examined and compared by using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), thermal gravimetry/differantial thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and the four-point probe technique (4PPT). The result of XRD measurements indicated that the (Bi2O3)(1−xyz)(Gd2O3)x(Sm2O3)y(Eu2O3)z (x = 10/y = 10/z = 5, 15, 20 mol % and x = 10/y = 5, 10, 15, 20/z = 10 mol %) samples have a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and mixed phase crystallographic structure. The phase stability was also checked by the DTA evaluations results. The temperature dependent electrical conductivity measurements showed that the highest electrical conductivity was observed for the sample of the (Bi2O3)0.75(Gd2O3)0.10(Sm2O3)0.05(Eu2O3)0.10 system which has a stable and δ-phase was found as 6.67 × 10−3 (Ω cm)−1 at 650 °C. This sample can be used as an electrolyte material in the solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) which is possible to operate at intermediate temperature ranges. The activation energy was also calculated at a low temperature range (350–650 °C) and high temperature range (above 650 °C). The values for the samples vary from 0.63 eV to 1.08 eV at low temperature and at high temperature they vary from 0.43 eV to 0.75 eV.  相似文献

Effects of doping YBa2Cu3O7-δ with Mg and Zn on its crystallographic structure and superconducting behaviour have been investigated. Orthorhombic structure is retained upto Mg/Cu ratio of 0.12 (the highest investigated here), but Tc decreases rapidly with the level of Mg-doping. The effects produced by Mg-doping are very similar to those due to Zn-doping investigated by the present authors as well as by others. Neutron diffraction measurements have been carried out on two substituted materials: YBa2Cu2.82Mg0.18O7-δ and YBa2Cu2.82Zn0.18O7-δ. Both Mg- and Zn-dopants show strong tendency of occupying Cu(II)-sites in the unit cell. In the case of Mg-doping, however, a strikingly different feature is the concomitant depletion of oxygen at the O3-sites by an amount nearly equal to the Mg-concentration.  相似文献

The oxide ErBa2Cu3O7−y has been obtained in the orthorhombic and the tetragonal forms by suitable heat treatments. The orthorhombic form is metallic and superconducting with Tc=88 K while the tetragonal form has high resistance and is non-superconducting. Magnetic studies on both types of compounds reveal that the rare earth ion moment is very close to its free ion value independent of the structure. In the tetragonal compound, deviations in the susceptibility from the Curie-Weiss behavior are noted at low temperatures which may be due to the effect of crystalline electric fields.  相似文献
