研究Banach空间中L-Lipschitzian映射对的公共不动点逼近问题.设E表示实Banach空间,K是E中的非空闭凸子集,T,S：K→K是L-Lipschitzian映射,{xn].是带平均误差项的迭代序列,我们给出了{xn）强收敛于T和S的一个公共不动点的充分必要条件,这一结果推广了Banach空间不动点逼近定理.     

Least number of periodic points of self-maps of Lie groups

There are two algebraic lower bounds of the number of n-periodic points of a self-map f :M → M of a compact smooth manifold of dimension at least 3:N Fn(f) = min{#Fix(gn); g ～f; g is continuous} and N J Dn(f) = min{#Fix(gn); g ～ f; g is smooth}.In general,N J Dn(f) may be much greater than N Fn(f).If M is a torus,then the invariants are equal.We show that for a self-map of a nonabelian compact Lie group,with free fundamental group,the equality holds  all eigenvalues of a quotient cohomology homomorphism induced by f have moduli ≤ 1.     

Coincidence and fixed points for maps on topological spaces

The existence of coincidence and fixed points for continuous mappings on pseudo-compact completely regular topological spaces are proved. Our results are different from known, or are generalizations, extensions and improvements of the corresponding results due to Jungck, Liu and Liu et al. Further, the Edelstein result for contractive mappings is extended to Hausdorff (not necessarily completely regular) topological spaces and generalized in many aspects. An example is presented to show that our results are genuine generalizations of the Edelstein result.     

Realization of fixed point sets

Letf:XX be a selfmap of a compact connected polyhedron, andA a nonempty closed subset ofX. In this paper, we shall deal with the question whether or not there is a mapg:XX homotopic tof such that the fixed point set Fixg ofg equalsA. We introduce a necessary condition for the existence of such a mapg. It is shown that this condition is easy to check, and hence some sufficient conditions are obtained.Partially supported by the Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning University.     

Common fixed points for discontinuous mappings in fuzzy metric spaces

In this paper we prove some common fixed point theorems for fuzzy contraction respect to a mapping, which satisfies a condition of weak compatibility. We deduce also fixed point results for fuzzy contractive mappings in the sense of Gregori and Sapena. The authors are supported by Università degli Studi di Palermo, R. S. ex 60%.     

G-度量空间中两对非相容映象的几个新的公共不动点定理

在G-度量空间的框架下,利用自映象对的非相容性和（Ag）型R-弱交换性条件,在既不要求空间的完备性,也不要求映象连续的条件下,建立了一类？-压缩条件下的4个映象的几个新的公共不动点定理,此定理在很大程度上改进和发展了已有文献的相关结果.     

Common fixed points for four maps in cone metric spaces

The existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for four mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions without exploiting the notion of continuity of any map involved therein, in a cone metric space is proved. These results extend, unify and generalize several well known comparable results in the existing literature.     

Common fixed points of a nonexpansive semigroup and a convergence theorem for Mann iterations in geodesic metric spaces

First, we consider a strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive mappings defined on a closed convex subset of a complete CAT(0) space and prove a convergence of a Mann iteration to a common fixed point of the mappings. This result is motivated by a result of Kirk (2002) and of Suzuki (2002). Second, we obtain a result on limits of subsequences of Mann iterations of multivalued nonexpansive mappings on metric spaces of hyperbolic type, which leads to a convergence theorem for nonexpansive mappings on these spaces.     

Common fixed points of almost generalized contractive mappings in ordered metric spaces

The existence theorems of common fixed points for two weakly increasing mappings satisfying an almost generalized contractive condition in ordered metric spaces are proved. Some comparative example are constructed which illustrate the values of the obtained results in comparison to some of the existing ones in literature.

Topological convexities, selections and fixed points

A convexity on a set X is a family of subsets of X which contains the whole space and the empty set as well as the singletons and which is closed under arbitrary intersections and updirected unions. A uniform convex space is a uniform topological space endowed with a convexity for which the convex hull operator is uniformly continuous. Uniform convex spaces with homotopically trivial polytopes (convex hulls of finite sets) are absolute extensors for the class of metric spaces; if they are completely metrizable then a continuous selection theorem à la Michael holds. Upper semicontinuous maps have approximate selections and fixed points, under the usual assumptions.     

On the compactly locally uniformly rotund points of Orlicz spaces

In this paper, locally uniformly rotund points and compactly locally uniformly rotund points are introduced. Moreover, criteria for compactly locally uniformly rotund points in Orlicz spaces are given.     

Fuzzy度量空间中的单值映射的Caristi型不动点定理

本文采用Ｋａｌａｖａ和Ｓｅｉｋｋａｌａ的模糊度量空间定义，利用文（７）中建立的亚度量簇生成空间理论，研究了Ｆｕｚｚｙ度量空间中的单值映射的Ｃａｒｉｓｔｉ型不动点定理以及它在Ｍｅｎｇｅｒ概率度量空间中的应用。     

Geodesic Ptolemy spaces and fixed points

In this paper we study the regularity of geodesic Ptolemy spaces and apply our findings to metric fixed point theory. It is an open question whether such spaces with a continuous midpoint map are CAT(0) spaces. We prove that if a certain uniform continuity is imposed on such a midpoint map then these spaces, if complete, are reflexive (that is, the intersection of decreasing families of bounded closed and convex subsets is nonempty) and that bounded sequences have unique asymptotic centers. These properties will then be applied to yield a series of fixed point results specific to CAT(0) spaces.     

Asymptotic Lefschetz fixed point theory for ANES(compact) maps

A number of new Lefschetz fixed point theorems are established for ANES(compact) maps. Also compact absorbing contraction maps are discussed.
