In this paper, we first prove a generalized KKM theorem, and then use this generalized KKM theorem to establish the generalized equi-KKM theorem, common fixed point theorems for a family of multivalued maps, and the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem. We also show that an existence theorem of the common fixed point theorem is equivalent to the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem.  相似文献

This article is concerned with some new best proximity point theorems for principal cyclic contractive mappings, proximal cyclic contractive mappings, and proximal contractive mappings. We provide some new Caratheodory-type selection theorems, i.e., selections for correspondences of two variables which are continuous with respect to one variable and measurable with respect to the other. These results generalize simultaneously Michael's [21]continuous selection theorem for lower-semicontinuous correspondences as well as a Caratheodory-type selection theorem of Fryszkowski [10]. Random fixed point theorems (which generalize ordinary fixed point theorems, e.g., Browder's [6]) follow as easy corollaries of our results.  相似文献

In this paper, we first establish some new types of fixed point theorems for nonlinear multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. From those results, we obtain new fixed point theorems for nonlinear multivalued maps in metric spaces and the generalizations of Mizoguchi–Takahashi’s fixed point theorem and Berinde–Berinde’s fixed point theorem. Some applications to the study of metric fixed point theory are given.  相似文献

In the present paper, we obtain a new KKM type theorem for intersectionally closed-valued KKM maps and some useful new basic consequences. Typical examples of them are abstract forms of Fan’s matching theorem, Fan’s geometric lemma, the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem, maximal element theorems, Fan’s minimax inequality, variational inequalities, and others.  相似文献

Several characterizations of MT-functions are first given in this paper. Applying the characterizations of MT-functions, we establish some existence theorems for coincidence point and fixed point in complete metric spaces. From these results, we can obtain new generalizations of Berinde-Berinde?s fixed point theorem and Mizoguchi-Takahashi?s fixed point theorem for nonlinear multivalued contractive maps. Applying some of Ernest Michael's selection theorems, from recent fixed point theorems on u.s.c. multimaps, we deduce generalizations of the classical Bolzano theorem, several fixed point theorems on multimaps defined on almost convex sets, almost fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems, and collectively fixed point theorems. These results are related mainly to Michael maps, that is, l.s.c. multimaps having nonempty closed convex values.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish some fixed point theorems for a family of multivalued maps under mild conditions. By using our fixed point theorems, we derive some maximal element theorems for a particular family of multivalued maps, namely the Φ-condensing multivalued maps. As applications of our results, we prove some general equilibrium existence theorems in the generalized abstract economies with preference correspondences. Further applications of our results are also given to minimax inequalities for a family of functions.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish several different versions of generalized Ekeland’s variational principle and maximal element theorem for ττ-functions in ?? complete metric spaces. The equivalence relations between maximal element theorems, generalized Ekeland’s variational principle, generalized Caristi’s (common) fixed point theorems and nonconvex maximal element theorems for maps are also proved. Moreover, we obtain some applications to a nonconvex minimax theorem, nonconvex vectorial equilibrium theorems and convergence theorems in complete metric spaces.  相似文献

We iteratively generate a sequence of measurable mappings and study necessary conditions for its convergence to a random fixed point of random nonexpansive operator. A random fixed point theorem for random nonexpansive operator, relaxing the convexity condition on the underlying space, is also proved. In this paper, we obtain some new existence and uniqueness theorems of positive fixed point of mixed monotone operators in Banach spaces partially ordered by a cone. Jungck's [G. Jungck, Compatible mappings and common fixed points, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 9 (1986) 771-779] notion of compatible mappings is further extended and used to prove some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible non-self mappings in complete convex metric spaces. We improve on the method of proof used by Rhoades [B.E. Rhoades, A fixed point theorem for non-self set-valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20 (1997) 9-12] and Ahmed and Rhoades [A. Ahmed, B.E. Rhoades, Some common fixed point theorems for compatible mappings, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 32 (2001) 1247-1254] and obtain generalization of some known results. In particular, a theorem by Rhoades [B.E. Rhoades, A fixed point theorem for non-self set-valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20 (1997) 9-12] is generalized and improved.  相似文献

The notion of a bead metric space defined here (see Definition 6) is a nice generalization of that of the uniformly convex normed space. In turn, the idea of a central point for a mapping when combined with the “single central point” property of the bead spaces enables us to obtain strong and elegant extensions of the Browder-Göhde-Kirk fixed point theorem for nonexpansive mappings (see Theorems 14-17). Their proofs are based on a very simple reasoning. We also prove two theorems on continuous selections for metric and Hilbert spaces. They are followed by fixed point theorems of Schauder type. In the final part we obtain a result on nonempty intersection.  相似文献
