Using the recently introduced boundary form factor bootstrap equations, the form factors of boundary exponential operators in the sinh-Gordon model are constructed. We also give a general method to evaluate the ultraviolet properties of boundary correlators by extending the bulk cumulant expansion to the boundary case. As an application, the ultraviolet scaling dimension and the normalization of the operators corresponding to the form factor solutions are checked against previously known results for boundary exponential operators. The construction presented in this paper can be applied to determine form factors of relevant primary boundary operators in general integrable boundary quantum field theories.  相似文献

Using the recently introduced boundary form factor bootstrap equations, we map the complete space of their solutions for the boundary version of the scaling Lee–Yang model and sinh-Gordon theory. We show that the complete space of solutions, graded by the ultraviolet behaviour of the form factors can be brought into correspondence with the spectrum of local boundary operators expected from boundary conformal field theory, which is a major evidence for the correctness of the boundary form factor bootstrap framework.  相似文献

Integrable defects in two-dimensional integrable models are purely transmitting thus topological. By fusing them to integrable boundaries new integrable boundary conditions can be generated, and, from the comparison of the two solved boundary theories, explicit solutions of defect models can be extracted. This idea is used to determine the transmission factors and defect energies of topological defects in sinh-Gordon and Lee–Yang models. The transmission factors are checked in Lagrangian perturbation theory in the sinh-Gordon case, while the defect energies are checked against defect thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations derived to describe the ground-state energy of diagonal defect systems on a cylinder. Defect bootstrap equations are also analyzed and are closed by determining the spectrum of defect bound-states in the Lee–Yang model.  相似文献

We extend a recent work by Mussardo and Penati on integrable quantum field theories with a single stable particle and an infinite number of unstable resonance states, including the presence of a boundary. The corresponding scattering and reflection amplitudes are expressed in terms of Jacobian elliptic functions, and generalize the ones of the massive thermal Ising model and of the sinh-Gordon model. In the case of the generalized Ising model we explicitly study the ground state energy and the one-point function of the thermal operator in the short-distance limit, finding an oscillating behaviour related to the fact that the infinite series of boundary resonances does not decouple from the theory even at very short-distance scales. The analysis of the generalized sinh-Gordon model with boundary reveals an interesting constraint on the analytic structure of the reflection amplitude. The roaming limit procedure which leads to the Ising model, in fact, can be consistently performed only if we admit that the nature of the bulk spectrum uniquely fixes the one of resonance states on the boundary.  相似文献

The structure of integrable field theories in the presence of defects is discussed in terms of boundary functions under the Lagrangian formalism. Explicit examples of bosonic and fermionic theories are considered. In particular, the boundary functions for the super sinh-Gordon model is constructed and shown to generate the Backlund transformations for its soliton solutions.  相似文献

The lowest representatives of the form factors relative to the trace operators of N = 1 super sinh-Gordon model are exactly calculated. The novelty of their determination consists in solving a coupled set of unitarity and crossing equations. Analytic continuations of the form factors as functions of the coupling constant allows for the study of interesting models in a uniform way, among these the latest model of the Roaming series and the minimal supersymmetric models as investigated by Schoutens. A fermionic version of the c-theorem is also proved and the corresponding sum rule derived.  相似文献

We study the elliptic sinh-Gordon equation formulated in the quarter plane by using the so-called Fokas method, which is a signi?cant extension of the inverse scattering transform for the boundary value problems. The method is based on the simultaneous spectral analysis for both parts of the Lax pair and the global algebraic relation that involves all boundary values. In this paper, we address the existence theorem for the elliptic sinh-Gordon equation posed in the quarter plane under the assumption that the boundary values satisfy the global relation. We also present the formal representation of the solution in terms of the unique solution of the matrix Riemann- Hilbert problem de?ned by the spectral functions.  相似文献

The ground state energy of the sinh-Gordon model defined on the strip is studied using the boundary thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equation. Its ultraviolet (small width of the strip) behavior is compared with the one obtained from the boundary Liouville reflection amplitude. The results are in perfect agreement in the allowable range of the parameters and provide convincing support for both approaches. We also describe how the ultraviolet limit of the effective central charge can exceed one in the parameter range when the Liouville zero mode forms a bound state.  相似文献

We discuss an application of the method of angular quantization to the reconstruction of form factors of local fields in massive integrable models. The general formalism is illustrated with examples of the Klein-Gordon, sinh-Gordon and Bullough-Dodd models. For the latter two models the angular quantization approach makes it possible to obtain free field representations for form factors of exponential operators. We discuss an intriguing relation between the free field representations and deformations of the Virasoro algebra. The deformation associated with the Bullough-Dodd models appears to be different from the known deformed Virasoro algebra.  相似文献

We derive a characterization of the spectrum of the sinh-Gordon model in terms of certain nonlinear integral equations. There exists a large class of solutions to these equations which allows a continuation between the infrared and the ultraviolet limits, respectively. We present nontrivial evidence for the claim that the class of solutions in question describes the spectrum of the sinh-Gordon model completely in both of these limits. The evidence includes some nontrivial relations to Liouville theory.  相似文献

The Gaussian wave-functional variational approximation is used to calculate the energy of one-particle state as well as the energy and wave function of two-particle state in the sinh-Gordon model in (1+1) dimensions. We study the electromagnetic form factors and tensor polarization observables of the deuteron in the framework of the hard-wall AdS/QCD model. We find a profile function for the bulk twist \begin{document}$\tau=6$\end{document} vector field, which describes the deuteron on the boundary and fix the infrared boundary cut-off of AdS space in accordance with the ground state mass of the deuteron. We obtain the deuteron charge monopole, quadrupole, and magnetic dipole form factors and tensor polarization observables from the bulk Lagrangians for the deuteron and photon field interactions. We plot the momentum transfer dependence of the form factors and tensor polarization observables and compare our numerical results with those in the soft-wall model and experimental data.  相似文献

We describe the volume dependence of matrix elements of local boundary fields to all orders in inverse powers of the volume. Using the scaling boundary Lee–Yang model as testing ground, we compare the matrix elements extracted from boundary truncated conformal space approach to exact form factors obtained using the bootstrap method. We obtain solid confirmation for the boundary form factor bootstrap, which is different from all previously available tests in that it is a non-perturbative and direct comparison of exact form factors to multi-particle matrix elements of local operators, computed from the Hamiltonian formulation of the quantum field theory.  相似文献

The sinh-Gordon equation expansion method is further extended by generMizing the sinh-Gordon equation and constructing new ansatz solution of the considered equation. As its application, the (2+1)-dimensional Konopelchenko-Dubrovsky equation is investigated and abundant exact travelling wave solutions are explicitly obtained including solitary wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions and Jacobi elliptic doubly periodic function solutions, some of which are new exact solutions that we have never seen before within our knowledge. 用解析分析与数值仿真的手段研究了一种典型的车辆跟驰模型(OV模型)与元胞自动机模型(NS模型)之间的区别与联系.首先通过对模型规则的分析,证明了确定NS模型是OV模型的一种离散形式.随后针对两模型更复杂的具体形式,通过数值仿真的手段进行了模型的密度-流量关系与模型在开放边界下的动态特性的研究.实验结果表明,从现象来看,OV模型与NS模型具有非常近似的性质,但两种模型的机制不相同,并且各自具有不能相互替代的优势.为交通流模型的使用和改进提供了参考.  相似文献

We continue the study of form factors of descendant operators in the sinh- and sine-Gordon models in the framework of the algebraic construction proposed in [1]. We find the algebraic construction to be related to a particular limit of the tensor product of the deformed Virasoro algebra and a suitably chosen Heisenberg algebra. To analyze the space of local operators in the framework of the form factor formalism we introduce screening operators and construct singular and cosingular vectors in the Fock spaces related to the free field realization of the obtained algebra. We show that the singular vectors are expressed in terms of the degenerate Macdonald polynomials with rectangular partitions. We study the matrix elements that contain a singular vector in one chirality and a cosingular vector in the other chirality and find them to lead to the resonance identities already known in the conformal perturbation theory. Besides, we give a new derivation of the equation of motion in the sinh-Gordon theory, and a new representation for conserved currents.  相似文献

Form factor axioms are derived in two dimensional integrable defect theories for matrix elements of operators localized both in the bulk and on the defect. The form factors of bulk operators are expressed in terms of the bulk form factors and the transmission factor. The structure of the form factors of defect operators is established in general, and explicitly calculated in particular, for the free boson and for some operator of the Lee–Yang model. Fusion method is also presented to generate boundary form factor solutions for a fused boundary from the known unfused ones.  相似文献

Sklyanin's method of separation of variables is employed in a calculation of finite temperature expectation values. An essential element of the approach is Baxter's Q-function. We propose its explicit form corresponding to the ground state of the sinh-Gordon theory. With the method of separation of variables we calculate the finite temperature expectation values of the exponential fields to one-loop order of the semi-classical expansion.  相似文献
