We construct an anomaly-free supersymmetric U(1)' model with a secluded U(1)'-breaking sector. We study the one-loop effective potential at finite temperature and show that there exists a strong enough first order electroweak phase transition for electroweak baryogenesis (EWBG) because of the large trilinear term AhhSHdHu in the tree-level Higgs potential. Unlike in the minimal supersymmetric standard model, the lightest top squark can be very heavy. We consider the nonlocal EWBG mechanism in the thin wall regime and find that within uncertainties the observed baryon number can be generated from the tau lepton contribution, with the secluded sector playing an essential role. The chargino and neutralino contributions and the implications for the Z' mass and electric dipole moments are briefly discussed.  相似文献

In supersymmetric models whose gauge group includes an additional U(1) factor at the TeV scale, broken by the VEV of an standard model singlet S, the parameter space can accommodate a very light neutralino not ruled out experimentally. This higgsino-like fermion, stable if R-parity is conserved, can make a good cold dark matter candidate. We examine the thermal relic density of this particle and discuss the prospects for its direct detection if it forms part of our galactic halo.  相似文献

The neutrino and Higgs sectors in the \(\text{ SU(2) }_1 \times \text{ SU(2) }_2 \times \text{ U(1) }_Y \) model with lepton-flavor non-universality are discussed. We show that active neutrinos can get Majorana masses from radiative corrections, after adding only new singly charged Higgs bosons. The mechanism for the generation of neutrino masses is the same as in the Zee models. This also gives a hint to solving the dark matter problem based on similar ways discussed recently in many radiative neutrino mass models with dark matter. Except the active neutrinos, the appearance of singly charged Higgs bosons and dark matter does not affect significantly the physical spectrum of all particles in the original model. We indicate this point by investigating the Higgs sector in both cases before and after singly charged scalars are added into it. Many interesting properties of physical Higgs bosons, which were not shown previously, are explored. In particular, the mass matrices of charged and CP-odd Higgs fields are proportional to the coefficient of triple Higgs coupling \(\mu \). The mass eigenstates and eigenvalues in the CP-even Higgs sector are also presented. All couplings of the SM-like Higgs boson to normal fermions and gauge bosons are different from the SM predictions by a factor \(c_h\), which must satisfy the recent global fit of experimental data, namely \(0.995<|c_h|<1\). We have analyzed a more general diagonalization of gauge boson mass matrices, then we show that the ratio of the tangents of the W\(W'\) and Z\(Z'\) mixing angles is exactly the cosine of the Weinberg angle, implying that number of parameters is reduced by 1. Signals of new physics from decays of new heavy fermions and Higgs bosons at LHC and constraints of their masses are also discussed.  相似文献

Molecular dynamics simulations of first-principles-based effective Hamiltonians for Pb(Sc{1/2}Nb{1/2})O(3) under hydrostatic pressure and for Pb(Mg{1/3}Nb{2/3})O(3) at ambient pressure show clear evidence of a relaxor state in both systems. The Burns temperature is identified as the temperature below which dynamic nanoscale polar clusters form, pinned to regions of quenched chemical short-range order. The effect of pressure in Pb(Sc{1/2}Nb{1/2})O(3) demonstrates that the stability of the relaxor state depends on a delicate balance between the energetics that stabilize normal ferroelectricity and the average strength of random local fields which promote the relaxor state.  相似文献

We describe the properties of Higgs bosons in a class of supersymmetric theories. We consider models in which the low-energy sector contains two weak complex doublets and perhaps one complex gauge-singlet Higgs field. Supersymmetry is assumed to be either softly or spontaneously broken, thereby imposing a number of restrictions on the Higgs boson parameters. We elucidate the Higgs boson masses and present Feynman rules for their couplings to the gauge bosons, fermions and scalars of the theory. We also present Feynman rules for vertices which are related by supersymmetry to the above couplings. Exact analytic expressions are given in two useful limits — one corresponding to the absence of the gauge-singlet Higgs field and the other corresponding to the absence of a supersymmetric Higgs mass term.  相似文献

We investigate the construction of four-family ${ \mathcal N }=1$ supersymmetric Pati–Salam models from Type IIA ${{\mathbb{T}}}^{6}/{{\mathbb{Z}}}_{2}\times {{\mathbb{Z}}}_{2}$ orientifold with intersecting D6-branes. Utilizing the deterministic algorithm introduced in He W, Li T and Sun R (2021 arXiv: hep-th/2112.09632), we obtain 274 types of models with three rectangular tori and distinct gauge coupling relations at string scale, while 6 types of models with two rectangular tori and one tilted torus. In both cases, there exists a class of models with gauge coupling unification at string scale. In particular, for the models with two rectangular tori, one tilted torus and gauge coupling unification, the gaugino condensations are allowed, and thus supersymmetry breaking and moduli stabilization are possible for further phenomenological study.  相似文献

In extending the minimal standard model of quarks and leptons to include supersymmetry, the conservation of baryon and lepton numbers is no longer automatic. I show how the latter may be achieved with a new U(1) gauge symmetry and new supermultiplets at the TeV scale. The superfluid density rho_{s}(T) identical with1/lambda;{2}(T) has been measured at 2.64 GHz in highly underdoped YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+y}, at 37 dopings with T_{c} between 3 and 17 K. Within limits set by the transition width DeltaT_{c} approximately 0.4 K, rho_{s}(T) shows no evidence of critical fluctuations as T-->T_{c}, with a mean-field-like transition and no indication of vortex unbinding. Instead, we propose that rho_{s} displays the behavior expected for a quantum phase transition in the (3+1)-dimensional XY universality class, with rho_{s0} proportional, variant(p-p_{c}), T_{c} proportional, variant(p-p_{c});{1/2}, and rho_{s}(T) proportional, variant(T_{c}-T);{1} as T-->T_{c}.  相似文献

Using the method of laser-induced fluorescence in an atomic beam we have measured the hyperfine splitting constants, A and B, of the ground and excited states of the optical transition 4f 76s 2 8S $_{1/2}\to 4f^{7}$ 6s6p 6P5/2 (564.58 nm) for 151???155Eu isotopes. For all isotopes, the magnetic dipole constants of the 6P5/2 atomic level are determined to a precision better than 0.04%. The A and B constants for the ground state 8S7/2 of the radioactive 152,154,155Eu were obtained for the first time with a precision better than 0.5%. Our data along with previous ground state hyperfine structure measurements for the stable europium isotopes allow us to determine the hyperfine anomaly for mentioned Eu isotopes.  相似文献

We systematically investigate the mass spectra of {Q\bar{s}}{bar{Q}(')s}molecular states in the framework of QCD sum rules. The interpolating currents representing the molecular states are proposed. Technically, contributions of the operators up to dimension six are included in operator product expansion (OPE). The masses for molecular states with various{Q\bar{s}} {\bar{Q}(')s} configurations are presented. The result 4.36±0.08 GeV for the D*s\bar{D}*s0 molecular state is consistent withthe mass 4350+4.6-5.1 ± 0.7 MeV of the newly observed X(4350), which could support X(4350) interpreted as a D*s\bar{D}*s0 molecular state.  相似文献

We show that in supersymmetric SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1) it is possible to break SU(2) with an Higgs singlet and at the same time to avoid vacuum expectation values for s-fermions. With rather simple constraints we obtain important restrictions on the values of the model parameters.  相似文献
