This paper is a continuation of [EK]. We show that the quantization procedure of [EK] is given by universal acyclic formulas and defines a functor from the category of Lie bialgebras to the category of quantized universal enveloping algebras. We also show that this functor defines an equivalence between the category of Lie bialgebras over k [[h]] and the category of quantized universal enveloping (QUE) algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we first prove that the θ-deformation Uθ(2) of U(2) constructed by Connes and Violette is our special case of the quantum group Uq(2) constructed in our previous paper. Then we will show that the set of truces on the C^* -algebra Uθ, θ irrational, is determined by the set of the truces on a subalgebra of Uθ.  相似文献

We study the representations of the restricted two-parameter quantum groups of types B and G. For these restricted two-parameter quantum groups, we give some explicit conditions which guarantee that a simple module can be factored as the tensor product of a one-dimensional module with a module that is naturally a module for the quotient by central group-like elements. That is, given θ a primitive lth root of unity, the factorization of simple ?θy,θz,( )-modules is possible, if and only if (2(y - z), l) = 1 for =??2n+1; (3(y - z), l) = 1 for g= G2.  相似文献

In this paper we construct a new quantum group Uq(osp(1,2, f)), which can be seen as a generalization of Uq(oSp(1, 2)). A necessary and sufficient condition for the algebra Uq(oSp(1,2, f)) to be a super Hopf algebra is obtained and the center Z(Uq(osp(1,2, f))) is given.  相似文献

We obtain an explicit formula for finding cocycles on a matched pair of Lie groups by using cocycles on the corresponding pair of Lie algebras. This formula for cocycles allows one to construct examples of locally compact quantum groups via bicrossproduct of Lie groups.  相似文献

We classify the orbits of coquasi-triangular structures for the Hopf algebra E(n) under the action of lazy cocycles and the Hopf automorphism group. This is applied to detect subgroups of the Brauer group BQ(k,E(n)) of E(n) that are isomorphic. For any triangular structure R on E(n) we prove that the subgroup BM(k,E(n),R) of BQ(k,E(n)) arising from R is isomorphic to a direct product of BW(k), the Brauer-Wall group of the ground field k, and Symn(k), the group of n × n symmetric matrices under addition. For a general quasi-triangular structure R on E(n) we construct a split short exact sequence having BM(k,E(n),R) as a middle term and as kernel a central extension of the group of symmetric matrices of order r < n (r depending on R). We finally describe how the image of the Hopf automorphism group inside BQ(k,E(n)) acts on Symn (k).  相似文献

We investigate a connection between distance-regular graphs and U q(sl(2)), the quantum universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra sl(2). Let be a distance-regular graph with diameter d 3 and valency k 3, and assume is not isomorphic to the d-cube. Fix a vertex x of , and let (x) denote the Terwilliger algebra of with respect to x. We characterize all equivariant odd spectral triples for the quantum SU(2) group acting on its L 2-space and having a nontrivial Chern character. It is shown that the dimension of an equivariant spectral triple is at least three, and given any element of the K-homology group of SUq(2), there is an equivariant odd spectral triple of dimension 3 inducing that element. The method employed to get equivariant spectral triples in the quantum case is then used for classical SU(2), and we prove that for p < 4, there does not exist any equivariant spectral triple with nontrivial K-homology class and dimension p acting on the L 2-space.The first author would like to acknowledge support from the National Board of Higher Mathematics, India.  相似文献

The induction theory for a Hopf group coalgebra is outlined. Given a Hopf group coalgebra H, the notions of a quotient Hopf group coalgebra and group coisotropic quantum subgroup of H are introduced. Given a discrete quantum group we construct a Hopf -algebra which is a unital -subalgebra of the multiplier algebra of . The structure maps for are inherited from and thus the construction yields a compactification of which is analogous to the Bohr compactification of a locally compact group. This algebra has the expected universal property with respect to homomorphisms from multiplier Hopf algebras of compact type (and is therefore unique).
