We discuss relations among notions of (C,1)-convergence, almost-convergence, absolute almost-convergence, and -convergence of a continuous vector-valued function f(t) as t tends to infinity. Equivalent conditions and Tauberian criterions are obtained, and some examples are exhibited.  相似文献

In this paper, by applying the SSOR splitting, we propose two new iterative methods for solving the linear complementarity problem LCP (M,q). Convergence results for these two methods are presented when M is an H-matrix (and also an M-matrix). We obtain new fixed point theorems on multimaps in the class Bp defined on almost convex subsets of topological vector spaces. Our main results are applied to deduce various fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems, almost fixed point theorems, intersection theorems, and minimax theorems. Consequently, our new results generalize well-known works of Kakutani, Fan, Browder, Himmelberg, Lassonde, and others.  相似文献

Let IP(N) stand for an ideal containing finite sets. We discuss various kinds of statistical convergence and I-convergence for sequences of functions with values in R or in a metric space. For real valued measurable functions defined on a measure space (X,M,μ), we obtain a statistical version of the Egorov theorem (when μ(X)<∞). We show that, in its assertion, equi-statistical convergence on a big set cannot be replaced by uniform statistical convergence. Also, we consider statistical convergence in measure and I-convergence in measure, with some consequences of the Riesz theorem. We prove that outer and inner statistical convergences in measure (for sequences of measurable functions) are equivalent if the measure is finite.  相似文献

In this paper we present some regularity results for solutions to the system −Δu=σ(u)2|∇φ|, div(σ(u)∇φ)=0 in the case where σ(u) is allowed to oscillate between 0 and a positive number as u→∞. In particular, we show that u is locally bounded if σ(u) is bounded below by a suitable exponential function.  相似文献

In this paper, the concept of asymptotically hemi-pseudocontractive mapping in Banach space, which is a proper generalization of asymptotically pseudocontractive mapping with nonempty fixed point set as shown by an example, is introduced. Some sufficient and necessary conditions on the strong convergence of the modified Ishikawa and the modified Mann iteration sequences with mean errors for uniformly L-Lipshitzian asymptotically hemi-pseudocontractive mappings are presented.  相似文献

Let X be a complete CAT(0) space. We prove that, if E is a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of X and a nonexpansive mapping satisfying the weakly inward condition, i.e., there exists pE such that ∀xE, ∀α∈[0,1], then T has a fixed point. In Banach spaces, this is a result of Lim [On asymptotic centers and fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Canad. J. Math. 32 (1980) 421-430]. We study boundary trace embedding theorems for variable exponent Sobolev space W1,p(⋅)(Ω). Let Ω be an open (bounded or unbounded) domain in RN satisfying strong local Lipschitz condition. Under the hypotheses that pL(Ω), 1?infp(x)?supp(x)<N, |∇p|∈Lγ(⋅)(Ω), where γL(Ω) and infγ(x)>N, we prove that there is a continuous boundary trace embedding W1,p(⋅)(Ω)→Lq(⋅)(∂Ω) provided q(⋅), a measurable function on ∂Ω, satisfies condition for x∈∂Ω.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process which converges strongly to a common element of set of common fixed points of countably infinite family of closed relatively quasi- nonexpansive mappings, the solution set of generalized equilibrium problem and the solution set of the variational inequality problem for a γ-inverse strongly monotone mapping in Banach spaces. Our theorems improve, generalize, unify and extend several results recently announced.  相似文献

Let be a random field i.e. a family of random variables indexed by Nr, r?2. We discuss complete convergence and convergence rates under assumption on dependence structure of random fields in the case of nonidentical distributions. Results are obtained for negatively associated random fields, ρ?-mixing random fields (having maximal coefficient of correlation strictly smaller then 1) and martingale random fields.  相似文献

Let M be a von Neumann algebra equipped with a normal semifinite faithful trace τ. Let T be a positive linear contraction on M such that τT?τ and such that the numerical range of T as an operator on L2(M) is contained in a Stoltz region with vertex 1. We show that Junge and Xu's noncommutative Stein maximal ergodic inequality holds for the powers of T on Lp(M), 1<p?∞. We apply this result to obtain the noncommutative analogue of a recent result of Cohen concerning the iterates of the product of a finite number of conditional expectations.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a graph optimization problem called minimum monopoly problem, in which it is required to find a minimum cardinality set SV, such that, for each uV, |N[u]∩S|?|N[u]|/2 in a given graph G=(V,E). We show that this optimization problem does not have a polynomial-time approximation scheme for k-regular graphs (k?5), unless P=NP. We show this by establishing two L-reductions (an approximation preserving reduction) from minimum dominating set problem for k-regular graphs to minimum monopoly problem for 2k-regular graphs and to minimum monopoly problem for (2k-1)-regular graphs, where k?3. We also show that, for tree graphs, a minimum monopoly set can be computed in linear time.  相似文献

We give a decomposition formula for the determinant on the bond scattering matrix of a regular covering of G. Furthermore, we define an L-function of G, and give a determinant expression of it. We prove maximal ergodic inequalities for a sequence of operators and for their averages in the noncommutative Lp-space. We also obtain the corresponding individual ergodic theorems. Applying these results to actions of a free group on a von Neumann algebra, we get noncommutative analogues of maximal ergodic inequalities and pointwise ergodic theorems of Nevo-Stein.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a generalized iterative process with errors to approximate the common fixed points of two asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings. A convergence theorem has been obtained which generalizes a known result. We show that Asplund sets are effective tools to study differentiability of Lipschitz functions, and ε-subdifferentiability of lower semicontinuous functions on general Banach spaces. If a locally Lipschitz function defined on an Asplund generated space has a minimal Clarke subdifferential mapping, then it is TBY-uniformly strictly differentiable on a dense Gδ subset of X. Examples are given of locally Lipschitz functions that are TBY-uniformly strictly differentiable everywhere, but nowhere Fréchet differentiable.  相似文献
