[reaction: see text] A variety of furan-2-ylacetates have been prepared by dehydrogenation of monocyclic 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans, which are readily available by cyclizations of open-chained 1,3-dicarbonyl dianions with 1-bromo-2-chloroethane. 5'H-[2,3']Bifuranyl-2'-ones are available based on sequential "cyclization/dehydrogenation" reactions of alpha-acetyl-gamma-butyrolactones. A variety of 7-(alkoxycarbonyl)benzofurans and 7-(alkoxycarbonyl)-2,3-dihydrobenzofurans were prepared by a cyclization/dehydrogenation strategy. These reactions rely on cyclizations of 2-oxocycloalkane-1-carboxylate-derived 1,3-dicarbonyl dianions ("free dianions") or 1,3-bis-silyl enol ethers ("masked dianions") with various 1,2-dielectrophiles.  相似文献

A variety of (tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)acetates and (pyrrolidin-2-yl)acetates have been prepared by hydrogenation of 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans and 2-alkylidenepyrrolidines, which are readily available by cyclization reactions of 1,3-dicarbonyl dianions (‘free dianions’) or 1,3-bis-silyl enol ethers (‘masked dianions’) with 1,2-dielectrophiles. The enzymatic kinetic resolution of (tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)acetates with recombinant esterase Est56 proceeded with excellent enantioselectivities (E>100).  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The reaction of boron tribromide and boron trichloride with 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans, readily available on the basis of cyclizations of free and masked dianions with 1,2-dielectrophiles, allowed an efficient synthesis of a variety of carbonyl compounds with remote halide functionality. This includes the chemo- and regioselective synthesis of 6-bromo- and 6-chloro-3-oxoalkanoates and 1,7-dibromoheptan-4-ones. The approach outlined herein can be regarded as a "ring-closure/ring-cleavage" strategy.  相似文献

Dianions are generated from alkyllithium reagents and cycloprop-2-ene carboxylic acids, and these dianions can be functionalized by electrophiles at the vinylic position. In a previous report, we described that such dianions could be generated and reacted with electrophiles in Et2O or THF. Upon further study, it was found that there were reproducibility issues for those reactions that were carried out in Et2O. Working under the assumption that an impurity may have promoted these reactions, a detailed study was undertaken to determine the effect of variables on the generation, stability, and reactivity of cycloprop-2-ene carboxylate dianions. It has been found that certain additives can have a substantial effect on the chemistry of cycloprop-2-ene carboxylate dianions. In particular, it was determined that amine N-oxide additives have a beneficial effect both on the stability of cycloprop-2-ene carboxylate dianions and on the rates that such dianions undergo alkylation. Conditions for reacting dianions with a broad range of electrophiles are described.  相似文献

Highly functionalized ferrocenyl-substituted phenols were prepared by cyclization of masked or free dianions with 1,3-dielectrophilic 1-η5-ferrocenyl-3,3-bis(methylthio)prop-2-en-1-ones. While the cyclizations of 1,3-bis(silyloxy)-1,3-butadienes (masked dianions) proceed by initial 1,2-addition, the reactions of free 1,3-dicarbonyl dianions proceed by initial 1,4-addition. Therefore, both regioisomeric ferrocenylphenols are available from one and the same electrophile dependent on the type of nucleophile and reaction conditions employed. The reactions reported represent the first examples of the application of formal [3 + 3] cyclizations to the synthesis of organometallic compounds.  相似文献

Various reactions of 2-oxo(or thioxo)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid derivatives (Biginelli-compounds) were investigated. The site of methylation and acylation on 6-methyl-4-phenyl-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester 1a and its 2-oxo derivative 9a was studied. The synthesis of pyrimido[2,3-b]thiazines and thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidines was accomplished by condensation of 1a with 1,3-and 1,2-dielectrophiles. A Dimroth-like rearrangement yielding 6H-1,3-thiazines can be observed when 1a was treated with dimethylformamide and phosphorus oxychloride. The formation of indeno[1,2-d]pyrimidines can be achieved by intramolecular Friedl-Crafts acylation of 9a and 13 , respectively. Finally a route for the preparation of 4,6-disubstituted-pyrimidine-5-carbonitriles is presented, starting with Biginelli-compound 25 .  相似文献

The DFT-based reactivity indices were used to describe protonation reactions of radical anions (RA) and dianions (DA) of aromatic compounds. A correlation between the experimental rate constants for protonation and the global reactivity indices was found. The indices were expressed through the electron affinities and ionization energies computed at the B3LYP level of theory. The protonation reactions of RA and DA of aromatic compounds are correctly described by the reactivity indices calculated as the inverse of the difference between the formal formation potential of RA (or DA) and the formal reduction potential of the proton donor.  相似文献

The use of 1,2‐diselenolato‐1,2‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaborane(12) dianions [1,2‐(1,2‐C2B10H10)Se2]2? prepared in situ as the dilithium salt may lead to irreproducible results. This is shown by the straightforward synthesis of silanes using the purified and isolated dianions, in contrast with previous less successful attempts. Thus, the reactions of the dianions with dichlorosilanes afford the five‐membered diselenasila cycles containing the SiMe2 or the SiPh2 units, and with 1,2‐dichloro‐tetramethyldisilane the six‐membered cycle containing the Si2Me4 unit. The latter was studied by X‐ray diffraction, and all products were characterized by multinuclear magnetic resonance (1H, 13C, 29Si, 77Se NMR) in solution. Novel isotope effects were detected in 13C and 77Se NMR spectra. Exchange reactions of the five‐ and six‐membered diselanasila cycles with chlorosilanes were studied. The properties of ion associates formed by alkali metal cations with 1,2-naphthosemiquinone radical anions and 1,2-naphthoquinone dianions have been polarographically studied in dimethylsulfoxide solutions. It was established that these radicals and dianions coexist in equilibria with corresponding ion pairs and triple ions. The values of association constants were calculated on the basis of the slightly modified method of De Ford and Hume. Some structural aspects of ion association in the systems investigated are discussed.  相似文献

Some of the most highly reduced organic species in solution, such as the dianions of PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) display unexpected reactivity patterns when they react with an appropriate counterpart. As seen before in their reaction with propene and other alkenes, PAHs(-2) apparently react with fluoroalkanes in a nucleophilic fashion in spite of being generally regarded as powerful electron-transfer reagents in their reactions with haloalkanes. This methodology complements the current methodologies on reductive alkylation of polycyclic arenes by allowing access to a new set of regioisomers, the regiochemistry of which can be easily predicted by simple MO calculations.  相似文献

The Lewis acid mediated cyclization of epoxides with 1,3-bis(trimethylsilyloxy)-1,3-butadienes, electroneutral equivalents of 1,3-dicarbonyl dianions, results in the formation of 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans with a great variety of substitution patterns and functional groups. This includes the synthesis of 2,3'-bifuranylidenes and 7-oxabicyclo[4.3.0]nonanes. The cyclization of dienes with functionalized epoxides containing base-labile groups proceeds with good chemoselectivity. In all reactions, good regio- and E diastereoselectivities are observed. Based on the stereoselectivities observed for reactions of 1,2-disubstituted epoxides, a working hypothesis for the mechanism of the reaction is suggested.  相似文献

The aromatic metallole dianions are important metallaaromatic compounds because of their various reactivities and extensive synthetic applications. Herein we report the reactions of dilithionickelole with MgCl2, EtAlCl2, Cp*ScCl2, Cp*LuCl2 and Pt(COD)Cl2 (COD=1,5-cyclooctadiene) affording a series of Ni/M heterobimetallic complexes of the general formula (η4−C4R4M)Ni(COD), in which the metalloles act as diene ligands, as suggested by single-crystal X-ray, NMR and theoretical analyses. In these reactions, two electrons of the nickelole dianion transferred to Ni, representing different reactivity compared with main-group metallole dianions.  相似文献

The catalytic regeneration of depolarizers by certain substrates has been demonstrated by means of cyclic voltammetry. As depolarizers we have employed anion radicals of aromatic hydrocarbons, heteroaromatic compounds, ketones, esters, nitriles, and olefins, and dianions of aromatic hydrocarbons, heteroaromatic compounds, ketones, and esters. As substrates we have investigated simple aromatic and aliphatic halides, 1,2- and 1,3-dihalides, carbon dioxide, and activated olefins. A requirement for the observation of a catalytic wave is that the reduced substrate undergoes a practically irreversible reaction after the reaction with the reduced depolarizer; for simple halides it is a cleavage reaction, for 1,2- and 1,3-dihalides an elimination, for carbon dioxide an addition, and for activated olefins a coupling. Electrochemical investigations of these kinds of reactions may be of interest in connection with the mechanism of several types of reactions in organic chemistry.  相似文献

Thioamide dianions were generated by the highly efficient reaction of N-benzyl thioamides with 2 equiv of BuLi. Alkylation, allylation, and silylation took place selectively at the carbon atom adjacent to the nitrogen atom of the thioamide dianions. Oxiranes and an aldehyde were also used as electrophiles in the reaction of thioamide dianions to form N-thioacyl 1,3- or 1,2-amino alcohols. The insertion reaction of elemental sulfur to a thioamide dianion and subsequent ethylation afforded a N-thioacyl hemithioaminal. NMR studies on the thioamide mono- and dianions derived from N-benzyl 2-methoxythiobenzamide showed a linear relationship between the chemical shifts of all carbon atoms of thioamide mono- and dianions. The results also suggested that the negative charge at the benzylic carbon atom of the dianion is not fully delocalized. The charge distribution patterns of the dianion are consistent with those of pi polarization.  相似文献

Polymerization of acrylamide has been initiated by the photochemical reactions of the dianions of croconic acid (1,2-dihydroxycyclopentenetrione) and rhodizonic acid (1,2-dihydroxycyclohexenetetrone) in the presence of various acceptor molecules. Photoinitiation was most efficient with croconic acid where a maximum quantum yield for polymerization of 2 x 103 was observed in neutral solution. Kinetic studies using this initiator showed that the rate of polymerization was a linear function of the concentration of monomer and proportional to the square root of the light absorbed by the croconate dianion. The rate of initiation of radicals calculated from the rate of polymerization was compared with the rate of production of radicals calculated from previous studies of the photochemistry of the croconate dianion and the mechanism of photoinitiation is discussed. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

This work introduces a calibrated B3LYP/6-31G(d) study on the electronic structure of singlet and triplet neutral species of 1,2-substituted icosahedral 1,2-R(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10) and octahedral 1,2-R(2)-1,2-C(2)B(4)H(4) molecules with R = {H, OH, SH, NH(2), PH(2), CH(3), SiH(3)} and their respective dianions formed by proton removal on each R group. The properties of substituted cyclobutene-1,2-diones 1 are examined by the use of (17)O NMR spectroscopy and theoretical calculations and compared to those of cyclopropenones 2 and other models. Cyclobutene-1,2-diones have less negative charge per oxygen compared to cyclopropenones, and electron donation by substituents enhances the negative charge on oxygen. Calculated (17)O chemical shifts reproduce the measured trends. The dianions of squaric and deltic acids are highly stabilized by negative charge delocalization to the oxygens.  相似文献

The main trends in the chemistry of 1,2-diphosphacyclopentadienes (1,2-diphospholes) and their derivatives 1,2-diphosphacyclopentadienide anions (1,2-diphospholide anions) were systematized, analyzed, and generalized. Methods for the generation of 1,2-diphospholide anions and their reactions with organic and organoelement electrophiles, as well as with transition metal complexes, were considered. Particular attention was paid to the cycloaddition reactions of 1-alkyl-1,2-diphospholes to obtain polycyclic chiral phosphines. A comparative analysis of the reactivity of 1,2-diphospholes and 1,2-diphospholide anions with respect to other representatives of phosphacyclopentadienes and phosphacyclopentadienide anions was carried out. The potential of application of 1,2-diphosphacyclopentadiene derivatives for the design of materials with magnetic, catalytic, and optical properties was shown.
