A new Raman band is observed in two gases, CF4 and CH4. It is attributable to a double incoherent Raman scattering that takes place in pairs of interacting molecules. Spectral scattering intensities are given on an absolute scale. Zero order spectral moments are measured and are found higher than their long-range interaction value.  相似文献

High-efficiency frequency conversion in H2 of a nitrogen laser oscillator-amplifier system is described. The laser system provides about 1 MW output power with a very low intrinsic divergence. Up to 3 Stokes lines at 392, 468, and 581 nm and 3 Anti-Stokes at 296, 263, and 237 nm, respectively, have been observed at the output of the 60 cm long H2 Raman cell. Peak power values of 500, 300, and 70 kW have been measured for the first 3 Stokes, respectively, corresponding to a 56% pump energy conversion efficiency.A comparison between free and guided propagation (in a hollow dielectric waveguide) is also reported, for various values of the pump intrinsic divergence.  相似文献

The advent of laser sources, better optical instruments, and photon-counting techniques has put Raman scattering within the range of a number of practical uses. The measurement of densities and temperatures has been demonstrated in numerous laboratory and field situations. In this paper, we consider the factors that determine the feasibility of Raman scattering measurements. The compromise between accuracy and time resolution is discussed in terms of desirable applications to short-lived processes (turbulence, kinetics etc.).  相似文献

We re-examine the theory of Raman scattering in cubic crystals. The unconventional vector potential of vortex light leads to new selection rules. We show that in this novel optical process, (a) silent phonon modes become active and (b) scattering tensors change for ordinary Raman active phonon modes. Calculation based on a simplified model shows that the vortex Raman scattering intensity can be comparable with that of ordinary Raman process.  相似文献

High energy-conversion efficiencies in Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS) are demonstrated both in experiments and by simulations for pump powers below SRS threshold. The scattering is induced by a short seed pulse at the Stokes frequency, the pulse width of which is much shorter than the pump pulse width and which is comparable with the medium's dephasing time.  相似文献

Two-photon induced stimulated Raman scattering has been observed for the first time. The observations have been made in cesium vapor. In the process cesium atoms are excited from the 6S32 ground state to the 6P32 excited state through the absorption of two laser photons at 1.064 μm and the emission of one scattered photon at 1.416 μm. The spectrum of the scattered light reveals the optical Stark shifts of the initial and final levels.  相似文献

A voice conversion algorithm,which makes use of the information between continuous frames of speech by compressed sensing,is proposed in this paper.According to the sparsity property of the concatenated vector of several continuous Linear Spectrum Pairs(LSP)in the discrete cosine transformation domain,this paper utilizes compressed sensing to extract the compressed vector from the concatenated LSPs and uses it as the feature vector to train the conversion function.The results of evaluations demonstrate that the performance of this approach can averagely improve 3.21%with the conventional algorithm based on weighted frequency warping when choosing the appropriate numbers of speech frame.The experimental results also illustrate that the performance of voice conversion system can be improved by taking full advantage of the inter-frame information,because those information can make the converted speech remain the more stable acoustic properties which is inherent in inter-frames.  相似文献

Experimental Raman spectra of RbCl containing F-centers are reported. Lines of A1u, Eu and F2u symmetry were observed. Calculations of the first-order Raman spectra are presented; they have been based on the assumption that the electron-phonon interaction is linear with displacements of F-center nearest neighbours. A shell-model fitted to neutron data was used to evaluate the Green-function matrix elements and the projected densities of states. The best agreement between theory and experiment was found to occur when using a zero-force-constant change for the F2u spectrum and a 0·35 fractional decrease in the longitudinal force-constant A12 for the A3u and Eu spectra.  相似文献

提出利用光纤中非线性效应受激喇曼散射(stimulated Raman scattering, SRS)实现波长转换的原理方案和相应的理论分析模型,并进行实验验证,将经过放大后的信号光和连续探测光同时注入光纤,在光纤中进行SRS放大,实现信号之间的转换。结果表明:利用SRS可实现波长转换,可实现跨几个THz的波长之间的转换。得到最大转换效率和消光比分别为-17.3 dB和15.7 dB。通过改变探测光的波长,可实现相隔几个THz光信号的全光波长转换和可调谐波长转换。  相似文献

A new type of Raman spectroscopy is presented: After transient excitation of molecular modes coherently scattered Raman spectra are investigated in a depayed probing experiment. The spectral position of the Raman mode is observed after long delay times. The dephasing time is obtained from the time dependence of the scattered amplitudes. Frequency disturbing non-resonant susceptibilities are eliminated. We report on first experimental results of transient coherent Raman spectroscopy of liquid CH3CCl3.  相似文献

Low frequency Raman scattering measurements in amorphous silicon indicate that the coupling constants. Cj. for both components of the Raman tensor vary as the square of the frequency. This result agrees with the model calculations of Whalley and Bertie for amorphous solids in the long wavelength limit. The frequency range of this behavior is found to be approximately that for which Debye-like behavior exists in the crystal.  相似文献

提出了一种基于压缩感知的考虑语音帧间信息的语音转换算法。根据连续多帧语音的线谱对参数所构成的矢量在离散余弦变换域具有稀疏性,利用压缩感知技术对该矢量压缩成短矢量,并将该压缩后的短矢量作为特征参数训练语音转换函数。实验测试结果表明,选择合适的语音帧数时,该算法的性能要比传统的采用加权频率卷绕的转换算法提高3.21%。这说明,充分有效地利用语音帧间的相关信息会使转换语音保持更稳定的帧间声学特性,有利于提高语音转换系统的性能,  相似文献

TiO2 nanoparticle of size 7.8 nm are synthesized by wet chemical route and characterized by low-frequency Raman scattering (LFRS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction. The low frequency peaks in the Raman spectra have been explained using the Lamb's theory that predicts the vibrational frequencies of a homogeneous elastic body of spherical shape. Our results show that the observed low-frequency Raman scattering originates from the spherical (l=0) and quadrupolar vibrations (l=2) of the spheriodal mode due to the confinement of acoustic vibrations in TiO2 nanoparticles. In addition to the low-frequency peak due to the vibrational quadrupolar and spheriodal modes, a band is also observed, which is assigned to the Raman forbidden torsional l=2 mode originating from the near spherical shape of the TiO2 nanoparticles. The size distribution is also obtained from LFRS, which is in good agreement with TEM.  相似文献
