The IR and Raman spectra and the thermal behaviour of the isomorphous compounds (NH4)3Ga(C2O4)3·3H2O and (NH4)3Al(C2O4)3·3H2O were investigated. Detailed stoichiometries, sustained by TG, DTA and IR spectroscopic analyses, were found in both cases. Different results, associated with the different polarizing powers of the metal cations, were obtained. The first evidence was found of the formation of basic gallium carbonates.  相似文献

FT IR and FT Raman spectra of Ag3(PO2NH), (Compound 1), Na3(PO2NH)3 x H2O (Compound II), Na3(PO2NH)3 x 4H2O (Compound III), [C(NH2)3]3(PO2NH)3 x H2O (Compound IV) and (NH4)4(PO2NH)4 x 4H2O (Compound V) are recorded and analyzed on the basis of the anions, cations and water molecules present in each of them. The PO2NH- anion ring in compound I is distorted due to the influence of Ag+ cation. Wide variation in the hydrogen bond lengths in compound III is indicated by the splitting of the v2 and v3 modes of vibration of water molecules. The NH4 ion in compound V occupies lower site symmetry and exhibits hindered rotation in the lattice. The correlations between the symmetric and asymmetric stretching vibrations of P-N-P bridge and the P-N-P bond angle have also been discussed.  相似文献

The temperature regions in which glass transitions (Tg's) occur for a series of blends of polybutadienes with natural rubber and two styrenebutadiene copolymers of different styrene contents have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The resulting DSC curves may be used to categorize the polybutadiene, determine the bound styrene content of the styrenebutadiene copolymer and quantify the polybutadiene content of the blends.
Zusammenfassung Die Temperaturbereiche, in denen bei einer Reihe von Gemischen von Butadien mit natürlichem Kautschuk und bei zwei Styrol-Butadien-Kopolymeren mit verschiedenem Styrolgehalt Glastransformationen erfolgen, wurden mittels DSC untersucht. Die erhaltenen DSC-Kurven können zur Kategorisierung des Polybutadiens und zur Bestimmung des Gehalts an gebundenem Styrol in Styrol-Polybutadien-Kopolymeren und des Polybutadiengehalts der Gemische verwendet werden.

The compound [NH4(NH3)4][B(C6H5)4].NH3 (1) was prepared by the reaction of NaB(C(6)H(5))(4) with a proton-charged ion-exchange resin in liquid ammonia. [NH(4)(NH(3))(4)][Ca(NH(3))(7)]As(3)S(6).2NH(3) (2) and [NH4(NH3)4][Ba(NH3)8]As3S6.NH3 (3) were synthesized by reduction of As(4)S(4) with Ca and Ba in liquid ammonia. All ammoniates were characterized by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. They were found to contain the ammine-ammonium complex with the maximal possible number of coordinating ammonia molecules, the [NH4(NH3)4]+ ion. 1 contains a special dimer, the [(NH4(NH3)4)2(mu-NH3)2]2+ ion, which is formed by two[NH4(NH3)4]+ ions linked by two ammonia molecules. The H(3)N-H...N hydrogen bonds in all three compounds range from 1.82 to 2.20 A (DHA = Donor-H...Acceptor angles: 156-178 degrees). In 2 and 3, additional H(2)N-H...S bonds to the thioanions are observed, ranging between 2.49 and 3.00 A (DHA angles: 120-175 degrees). Two parallel phenyl rings of the [B(C(6)H(5))(4)](-) anion in 1 form a pi...pi hydrogen bond (C...C distance, 3.38 A; DHA angles, 82 degrees), leading to a dimeric [B(C6H5)4]2(2-) ion.  相似文献

The selection of reference materials having calibration quality data sets is essential to meaningful measurements with DSC. In the present work the results of critical evaluations of the data sets for such materials are reported. New studies for three salt systems, CsCl, K2SO4, and K2CrO4 as calibrants for high temperature DSC, were undertaken, and are reported. The studies were extended to include Bi and KNO3, two prospective candidate materials for measurements at lower temperatures, and these results are also reported herewith.  相似文献

The Raman and infrared spectra of solid K2(12)C2O4 x H2O are reported together with, for the first time, the corresponding Raman and infrared spectra of solid K2(13)C2O4 x H2O. Raman spectra of aqueous solutions of both isotopomers are also reported. In the solid state the oxalate anion is planar with D2h symmetry in this salt, whereas in aqueous solution the Raman spectra of the anion are best interpreted on the basis of D2d symmetry. The Raman spectra of solid (NH4)2(12)C2O4 x H2O and (NH4)2(13)C2O4 x H2O, in which the oxalate anion is twisted from planarity by 28 degrees about the CC bond, have also been recorded. Several reassignments have been made. The harmonic force field for the oxalate anion in the D2h, D2 and D2d geometries has been determined in part, and approximate values of key valence force constants determined. All the observed band wavenumbers and 12C/13C isotopic shifts are well reproduced by the force fields. The potential energy distribution of the totally symmetric normal modes of planar oxalate indicates that each mode consists of extensively mixed symmetry corrdinates and that the labels previously used for the bands seen here at 475 and 879 cm(-1) would better be described as v(CC) and deltaS(CO2), respectively, putting them in the same wavenumber order as v(NN) and deltaS(NO2) for the isoelectronic and isostructural molecule N2O4. The stretching force constants of N2O4 and planar C2O4(2-) are established to be in the order f(NN) < f(CC) and f(NO) > f(CO), consistent with the known relative bond lengths.  相似文献

The crystal structures have been determined of CH3NH3HgCl3, (CH3NH3)2HgCl4, and CH3NH3Hg2Cl5. In (CH3NH3)2HgCl4 the HgII atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by four Cl atoms with Hg? Cl bond lengths of 2.464 to 2.478 Å. In the other two compounds the HgII atom is involved in two short covalent Hg? Cl bonds, forming a pseudo HgCl2 molecule and two much longer bridging Hg? Cl bonds. The methylammonium groups are connected by hydrogen bonds to the chlorine atoms. The nature of the hydrogen bonding scheme probably causes disorder of the methylammonium groups.  相似文献

Different ammonium fluoroferrates (NH4)xFeF2x (2≤x≤3) have been investigated. The thermal decomposition of the compounds obtained can be interpreted by their identical crystal structures (cryolite type). The decomposition products of all ammonium fluoroferrates formed in initial stage are isostructural of NH4FeF4. The decomposition is accompanied by the partial reduction of Fe(III) to Fe(II) by ammonium isolated. The end product of the thermal decomposition is FeF2 and FeF3 mixture.  相似文献
