Pascal定理的复数证明

Pascal定理　设ABCDEF为圆内接六边形,相对的边AB和DE,BC和EF,CD和FA(或延长线)的交点分别为P,Q,R,则此三点共线(见图1,图2).Pascal定理是平面几何中的著名定理,有多种证法,可见[1].本文,我们在平面上建立复坐标,计算出P,Q,R三点的坐标,用(zQ-zP)/(zR-zP)是实数这一事实来说明P,Q,R三点共线.这种做法的难点是得到(zQ-zP)的因子分解式(见下文(1)式),优点是思路简单,除了计算外,无须添助任何辅助线.证明　在复平面上,设圆的中心为原点,半径为1.A,B,C,D,E,F,P,Q,R九点的复数分别为t1,t2,t3,t4,t5,t6,zP,zQ,zR.先给出直线AB…     

A Different Version of Flett＇s Mean Value Theorem and an Associated Functional Equation

In this paper we present a mean value theorem derived from Flett‘s mean value theorem. It turns out that cubic polynomials have the midpoint of the interval as their mean value point. To answer what class of functions have this property, we consider a functional equation associated with this mean value theorem. This equation is then solved in a general setting on abelian groups.     

Modified continuity and a generalisation of Michael's selection theorem

We modify the definitions of continuity and lower semicontinuity for single-valued mappings and upper and lower semicontinuity for set-valued mappings. For single-valued mappings we have a generalisation of Osgood's theorem and for set-valued mappings we have an extension of Fort's theorem and a generalisation of Michael's selection theorem producing a densely defined selection with a natural continuity property relative to the domain.     

A theorem on uniformly continuous extensions of mappings defined in finite-dimensional spaces

We prove a theorem on uniformly continuous extensions of mappings defined in spaces whose uniformities have a base of finite-dimensional uniform coverings. This theorem includes a theorem of M. Katětov.     

A note on disjoint arborescences

Recently Kamiyama, Katoh, and Takizawa have shown a theorem on packing arc-disjoint arborescences that is a proper extension of Edmonds’ theorem on disjoint spanning branchings. We show a further extension of their theorem, which makes clear an essential rôle of a reachability condition played in the theorem. The right concept required for the further extension is “convexity” instead of “reachability”.     

Sturm’s theorem on zeros of linear combinations of eigenfunctions

Motivated by recent questions about the extension of Courant’s nodal domain theorem, we revisit a theorem published by C. Sturm in 1836, which deals with zeros of linear combination of eigenfunctions of Sturm–Liouville problems. Although well known in the nineteenth century, this theorem seems to have been ignored or forgotten by some of the specialists in spectral theory since the second half of the twentieth-century. Although not specialists in History of Sciences, we have tried to put this theorem into the context of nineteenth century mathematics.

1974年,Neal根据Kac和Siegert的思想,给出了一个在电子工程、海洋工程、建筑工程、航空工程、自动控制的随机振动中有重要应用的二阶Volterra非线性系统对平稳正态输入的统计响应的表示定理.1984年,Naess对此定理又给出了一个数学证明.经过研究后发现,他们对定理条件的叙述都是模糊的,而且其数学证明都是有问题的.本文重新讨论了这个表示定理,给出了明确的定理条件及严格的数学证明,为它的广泛应用奠定了理论基础.

Oscillations of Error Terms Associated with Certain Arithmetical Functions

We prove a general theorem on oscillatory properties of error terms associated with real arithmetical functions whose Mellin transform may have singularities with several summands containing arbitrary complex powers and logarithmic polynomials. The theorem generalizes a theorem of J. Kaczorowski and J. Pintz and is motivated by the applications to algebraic integers with factorizations of distinct lengths. An application of the theorem to the study of the Hilbert semigroup modulo 5 is presented.
