  ISO 9000 series strictly requires traceability to national or international measurement standards. It is becoming more necessary to make clear the concept of traceability of measurement standards with respect to chemical composition and to accredit the reference material producers. In Japan, the accreditation system for reference material producers is considered to satisfy the requirement of ISO Guide 34, ISO 9000 series and ISO/IEC Guide 25, while the producer fulfills the concept of traceability of measurement standards. This paper describes the production of iron and steel reference materials in Japan relating to the international standardization of methods (written standards) and accreditation of reference material producers.  The National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) recently prepared two candidate certified reference materials (CRMs) for arsenicals to meet the growing demand for the quality assurance of arsenic speciation analysis. The NIES candidate CRM No. 14 Brown Alga was prepared from Hijiki seaweed for the certification of inorganic arsenic content, and No. 15 Scallop was prepared from adductor muscle of scallop for the certification of arsenobetaine content. The preparation of the candidate CRMs is briefly described. Cooperative analyses for total arsenic content of the candidate CRMs have been underway. The preliminary speciation analysis at NIES revealed difficulty in establishing suitable conditions for extracting arsenic species from the materials. Chromatograms of arsenic species by a high performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric detection system are presented to provide information about arsenic species present in these candidate CRMs.  相似文献

Six xanthate derivatives of arsenic(III), antimony(III), and bismuth(III) {(ROCS2)3M; R=methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, cyclohexyl and benzyl} have been prepared and the thermal behaviour investigated by thermogravimetry. A thermal decomposition mechanism for the complexes is proposed on the basis of the thermogravimetric data and mass spectral measurements.  相似文献

Summary Carbon has been determined in 31 European reference steels in the range of 11–2561 g/g C, using an absolute calibration method.High-purity calcium carbonate was used as the calibration material and weighing was carried out by means of a balance with extremely small weighing error. Both synthetic calibration samples and test samples were processed alternatingly under identical conditions, and the analyses were completed in the shortest possible time.In 28 of the cases examined, results were lower than the certificate values, by an average of 27 g/g. The interval of uncertainty of the accuracy was 6 g/g (probability 99%).

Zusammenfassung Die Kohlenstoffgehalte von 31 europäischen zertifizierten Referenzstählen im Arbeitsbereich von 11–2561 g/g Kohlenstoff wurden durch absolute Eichung überprüft.Die hinreichende Reinheit des Eichmittels Calciumcarbonat wurde sichergestellt und ein Wägesystem mit einem hinreichend kleinen Wägefehler benutzt.Das gleiche Verhalten von synthetischen Eichproben und Analysenproben im Analysenprozeß wurde hergestellt und beide Probearten wechselweise unter konstanten Systembedingungen innerhalb kürzester Zeitspanne untersucht. In 28 der untersuchten Fällen wurden im Mittel um 27 ppm tiefere Werte gefunden als in den Zertifikaten angegeben. Das Unsicherheitsintervall der Richtigkeit der gefundenen Werte lag mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 99% im Mittel bei 6 g/g.

Antimony, arsenic, bismuth, cadmium, lead, and tin can be determined in metallurgical samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry at levels of 0.005 wt%, but lower concentrations frequently necessitate preconcentration. The graphite furnace allows determination of these elements at concentrations 1–2 orders of magnitude lower than is possible with flame techniques. All six elements have detection limits at or below 1μg g−1 in a variety of alloys. Calibration for antimony and load was done with standards containing the principal component of the alloy as a synthetic matrix. Bismuth, cadmium, and tin could be determined accurately only by the standard addition method. Arsenic could be determined in iron alloys with synthetic standards, but standard additions were required for copper alloys.  相似文献

Two enriched isotopes, 99.94 at.% 56Fe and 99.90 at.% 54Fe, were blended under gravimetric control to prepare ten synthetic isotope samples whose 56Fe isotope abundances ranged from 95% to 20%. For multiple-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) measurements typical polyatomic interferences were removed by using Ar and H2 as collision gas and operating the MC-ICP-MS system in soft mode. Thus high-precision measurements of the Fe isotope abundance ratios were accomplished. Based on the measurement of the synthetic isotope abundance ratios by MC-ICP-MS, the correction factor for mass discrimination was calculated and the results were in agreement with results from IRMM014. The precision of all ten correction factors was 0.044%, indicating a good linearity of the MC-ICP-MS method for different isotope abundance ratio values. An isotopic reference material was certified under the same conditions as the instrument was calibrated. The uncertainties of ten correction factors K were calculated and the final extended uncertainties of the isotopic certified Fe reference material were 5.8363(37) at.% 54Fe, 91.7621(51) at.% 56Fe, 2.1219(23) at.% 57Fe, and 0.2797(32) at.% 58Fe.  相似文献

粗二氧化碲作为碲精炼或碲化工产品生产的重要原料,其中共存元素铜、铅、砷、锑、铋、硒含量的准确测定对于生产过程质量控制和贸易结算具有重要意义,但目前没有粗二氧化碲中铜、铅、砷、锑、铋、硒含量检测的标准分析方法。采用王水和饱和氟化氢铵分解试样,在王水和酒石酸介质中,选用Cu 327.393 nm、Pb 220.353 nm、Sb 217.582 nm、Bi 223.061 nm、As 193.696 nm、Se 196.026 nm为分析谱线,采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱(ICP-AES)法测定粗二氧化碲中铜、铅、锑、铋、砷和硒含量。各元素校准曲线的相关系数均大于0.999;铜、铅、锑、铋、砷和硒的检出限分别为0.0004%、0.0005%、0.0006%、0.0007%、0.0004%和0.0007%,定量检出限分别为0.0012%、0.0016%、0.0020%、0.0025%、0.0013%和0.0025%。按照实验方法测定5个粗二氧化碲样品中铜、铅、锑、铋、砷和硒,测定结果的相对标准偏差(RSD,n=7)为0.79%~4.8%,加标回收率为96.0%~103%。方法简单,精密度和准确度较高,可用于测定粗二氧化碲中铜、铅、砷、锑、铋、硒含量。  相似文献

A simple direct titration for milligram and microgram amounts of triphenylphosphorus, -arsenic, -antimony, and -bismuth is described. The methanolic sample solution, with a little water, hydrochloric acid and bromide added, is titrated with N-bromosuccinimide to a methyl red end-point. All four compounds were titrated in the same way with recoveries of 99–100% and relative standard deviations of 1–5% were obtained.  相似文献

Summary Salts of the anions [SnX5], [SnX4Cl, [SnX3Cl2], [SnX3], [PbX3], [SbX4], [SbX3Cl], [SbX2Cl2], [BiX4], [AuCl2], [AuX2], [AuXCl], [AuX4], [Au2X6]2– and [PtX4]2–, where X = C6F5S, have been isolated and characterised. The neutral SbX3 and BiX3 species, have also been isolated and shown to be pyramidal monomers (19F.n.m.r., i.r., and Raman spectral evidence). Various physical properties of the complexes prepared, as well as their stereochemistries (where these could be ascertained), are similar to those of the known corresponding halogeno compounds of these elements. A study was carried out with a continuous hydride generator coupled to an atomic emission spectrometer with inductively-coupled plasma to determine whether hydrides of As, Bi, Pb, Sb, Sn and Se and mercury vapor could be generated in methanol solutions of their dithiocarbamate complexes. It was found that (with the exception of Pb) hydride generation with sufficient efficiency for simultaneous multi-element determination is achieved using 0.25% NaBH(4)-0.6 mol 1(-1) HCl as reaction medium. The detection limit was found to be 0.2 ng ml(-1) for As, 30 ng ml(-1) for Bi, 0.03 ng ml(-1) for Se, Sb and Sn.  相似文献

 A new human hair certified reference material (NIES CRM No. 13) for mercury speciation and trace element analysis was prepared at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Environmental Agency of Japan. Scalp hair from Japanese males, which is identical with the original material for the previous human hair CRM (NIES CRM No. 5), was used. Special attention was paid to reduce contamination from a grinding vessel during the preparation procedure. A newly-prepared ceramic/Teflon disc mill was used for cryogenic grinding of the hair. 1,000 bottles (3 g each) were produced after sieving and blending of the hair powder. Certified values for total mercury and methylmercury, as well as other trace elements of toxicological and nutritional significance (antimony, cadmium, copper, lead, selenium, and zinc), were determined based on analyses from extensive collaborations. Reference values for 12 elements (aluminium, arsenic, barium, calcium, cobalt, iron, magnesium, manganese, silver, sodium, sulfur and vanadium) were also given. A modified technique with a simple T-tube for atomisation held above conventional atomic absorption burners is described. We present the development process for National Institute of Metrology (NIM) bovine serum albumin (BSA) certified reference material (CRM). Each CRM unit contains about 200 mg of purified BSA. The moisture, ignition residue, molecular weight, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) purity were analyzed and mass spectrometry based protein identification was carried out to ensure the material was BSA. Both amino acid based isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) and a purity deduction method were selected for value assignment. The certified value was the average of the IDMS and the purity deduction result. HPLC purity analysis was used to examine the homogeneity and stability of solid BSA CRM. Fifteen units were selected for between-bottle homogeneity examination and seven subsamples from the same bottle were selected for within-bottle homogeneity examination. Statistics showed the CRM passed both the between-bottle and the within-bottle homogeneity examination. The CRM stability under storage conditions (-20 °C) was tested for 18 months and no trend was observed. Uncertainties from the balance, amino acid purity, hydrolysis, method reproducibility, homogeneity, and stability were taken into account in uncertainty evaluation. The final certified value of NIM BSA CRM is (0.963±0.038) g/g.  相似文献

Ten trisdithiocarbamate compounds of arsenic, antimony and bismuth are studied by mass spectrometry. Their fragmentation modes and the fragment ions with common structures are discussed. The molecular ion peaks were not observed in all compounds. The highest mass number fragment ions, which might be generated directly from the molecular ions, are those with less mass units, equal to a dithiocarbamate group; signifing a facile detaching of one of the dithiocarbamato groups. The observed peaks are attributed, either to electron impact or to pyrolytic decomposition. The most prominent peaks, in the higher mass number region of all the spectra, correspond to polynuclear compounds of the general formula MnSm, where M = As, Sb, Bi; S = sulfur; n = 1, 2, 3, 4 and m = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.  相似文献
