During recent years there has been considerable interest in using bilinear systems [1, 2] as mathematical models to represent the dynamic behavior of a wide class of engineering, biological and economic systems. Moreover, there are some methods [3] which may approximate nonlinear control systems by bilinear systems. For the first time Zubov has proposed a method of stabilization control synthesis for a set of programmed motions in linear systems [4]. In papers [5, 6] this method has been developed and used to solve the same problem for bilinear systems. In the present paper the following problems are considered. First, synthesis of nonlinear control as feedback under which the bilinear control system has a given set of programmed and asymptotic stable motions. Because this control is not unique, the second problem concerns optimal stabilization. In this paper a method for the design of nonlinear optimal control is suggested. This control is constructed in the form of a convergent series. The theorem on the sufficient conditions to solve this problem is represented.  相似文献

We consider a model equations describing the coagulation process of a gas on a surface. The problem is modeled by two coupled equations. The first one is a nonlinear transport equation with bilinear coagulation operator while the second one is a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. The velocity and the boundary condition of the transport equation depend on the supersaturation function satisfying the nonlinear ode. We first prove global existence and uniqueness of solution to the nonlinear transport equation then, we consider the coupled problem and prove existence in the large of solutions to the full coagulation system.  相似文献

The problem of estimating the trajectory tubes of a nonlinear control dynamic system with uncertainty in the initial data is studied. It is assumed that the dynamic system has a special structure in which the nonlinear terms are defined by quadratic forms in the state coordinates and the values of uncertain initial states and admissible controls are subject to ellipsoidal constraints. The matrix of the linear terms in the velocities of the system is not known exactly; it belongs to a given compact set in the corresponding space. Thus, the dynamics of the system is complicated by the presence of bilinear components in the righthand sides of the differential equations of the system. We consider a complicated case and generalize the author’s earlier results. More exactly, we assume the simultaneous presence in the dynamics of the system of bilinear functions and quadratic forms (without the assumption of their positive definiteness) and we also take into account the uncertainty in the initial data and the impact of the control actions, which may also be treated here as undefined additive disturbances. The presence of all these factors greatly complicates the study of the problem and requires an adequate analysis, which constitutes the main purpose of this study. The paper presents algorithms for estimating the reachable sets of a nonlinear control system of this type. The results are illustrated by examples.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence, stability, and global attractivity of time-periodic solutions for a class of coupled parabolic equations in a bounded domain. The problem under consideration includes coupled system of parabolic and ordinary differential equations, and time delays may appear in the nonlinear reaction functions. Our approach to the problem is by the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterations. The existence of time-periodic solutions is for a class of locally Lipschitz continuous reaction functions without any quasimonotone requirement using Schauder fixed point theorem, while the stability and attractivity analysis is for quasimonotone nondecreasing and mixed quasimonotone reaction functions using the monotone iterative scheme. The results for the general system are applied to the standard parabolic equations without time delay and to the corresponding ordinary differential system. Applications are also given to three Lotka-Volterra reaction diffusion model problems, and in each problem a sufficient condition on the reaction rates is obtained to ensure the stability and global attractivity of positive periodic solutions.  相似文献

This article is concerned with numerical solutions of finite difference systems of reaction diffusion equations with nonlinear internal and boundary reaction functions. The nonlinear reaction functions are of general form and the finite difference systems are for both time-dependent and steady-state problems. For each problem a unified system of nonlinear equations is treated by the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterations. This method leads to a monotone iterative scheme for the computation of numerical solutions as well as an existence-comparison theorem for the corresponding finite difference system. Special attention is given to the dynamical property of the time-dependent solution in relation to the steady-state solutions. Application is given to a heat-conduction problem where a nonlinear radiation boundary condition obeying the Boltzmann law of cooling is considered. This application demonstrates a bifurcation property of two steady-state solutions, and determines the dynamic behavior of the time-dependent solution. Numerical results for the heat-conduction problem, including a test problem with known analytical solution, are presented to illustrate the various theoretical conclusions. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

This paper describes a mathematical model of human thermoregulation in a clothed individual. Heat flow within and from the clothed body is expressed as a system of partial differential equations. The system is nonlinear as a result of the very nature of human thermoregulation. Such important physical properties as shivering, sweating, vasodilation and vasoconstriction are included in the simulation. Finite difference techniques are used to approximate spatial partial derivatives, thus reducing the problem to that of solving a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. A high accuracy approximation in the time dimension is used to generate a solution to the problem. The model is used to predict the reaction of a clothed human to various changes in environmental conditions.  相似文献

We study the stability of the Solid Fuel Model, which represents a thermal reaction of a solid material. This model corresponds to a nonlinear eigenvalue problem of two strongly coupled nonlinear reaction–diffusion equations, with different boundary conditions on each unknown. We obtain a strong bifurcation criterion for the steady problem and estimates for the blow-up time in the unsteady case. In addition, numerical solutions of both the steady and unsteady problem are presented to illustrate the results.  相似文献

Based on the extended test approach (ETA), we investigated the nonlinear evolution equations, namely, (2 + 1)-dimensional Gardner equation. We aimed to obtain some exact breather-type and periodic-type soliton solutions for this model. These results show that the extended test technique together with the bilinear method is a simple and effective method to seek exact solutions for nonlinear evolution equations. The properties of some periodic-like and soliton-like solution for this system are shown by some figures.  相似文献

The effects of pulsed electromagnetic fields on the dynamic mechanical response of electrically conductive anisotropic plates are studied. The analysis is based on the simultaneous solving of the system of nonlinear partial differential equations that include equations of motion and Maxwell’s equations. Physics-based hypotheses for electro-magneto-mechanical coupling in anisotropic composite plates and dimension reduction solution procedures for the nonlinear system of the governing equations are presented. A numerical solution procedure for the resulting two-dimensional nonlinear system of the governing equations has been developed and consists of the sequential application of time and spatial integration and quasilinearization. The developed methodology is applied to the problem of the dynamic response of a long current-carrying unidirectional carbon fiber polymer matrix composite plate subjected to transverse impact load and in-plane pulsed electromagnetic load. The interacting effects of the pulsed electric current, external magnetic field, and mechanical load are studied.  相似文献

本文主要研究三峡梯级水电站与华中、华东和川东电网联网的短期经济调度问题,利用泛函分析和运筹学相结合的方法建立了三峡梯级水电站日负荷最优分配的数学模型。本文扩充和推广了Hawary和Christensen的最小范数法用来求解这个具有等式和不等式约束的高维非线性含时滞的动态最优化问题,最优策略由一组动态的非线性代数、微分方程确定。引入适当的变量并进行适当化简,最终可将三峡梯级水电系统的经济调度问题转化为一个最小范数问题,并给出了最优解的具体表达式.用Lagrange乘子和Kuhn-Tucker乘子将约束条件并入目标函数中形成一个增广价格函数。通过变换可将该无约束优化问题转化为求解非线性代数方程组的问题。本文选用Fletcher-Reeves共轭梯度法求解无约束极值问题.在IBM-PC型微机上进行了试算。试算结果表明用最小范数法求解三峡梯级水电站日负荷最优分配问题是完全可行的,梯级水耗率有明显下降,能获得一定的经济效益。  相似文献

Numerical methods are proposed for the numerical solution of a system of reaction-diffusion equations, which model chemical wave propagation. The reaction terms in this system of partial differential equations contain nonlinear expressions. Nevertheless, it is seen that the numerical solution is obtained by solving a linear algebraic system at each time step, as opposed to solving a nonlinear algebraic system, which is often required when integrating nonlinear partial differential equations. The development of each numerical method is made in the light of experience gained in solving the system of ordinary differential equations, which model the well-stirred analogue of the chemical system. The first-order numerical methods proposed for the solution of this initialvalue problem are characterized to be implicit. However, in each case it is seen that the numerical solution is obtained explicitly. In a series of numerical experiments, in which the ordinary differential equations are solved first of all, it is seen that the proposed methods have superior stability properties to those of the well-known, first-order, Euler method to which they are compared. Incorporating the proposed methods into the numerical solution of the partial differential equations is seen to lead to two economical and reliable methods, one sequential and one parallel, for solving the travelling-wave problem. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

We are concerned with the existence of a nontrivial solution to a nonlinear third-order three-point boundary-value problem on general time scales. Using the corresponding Green function, without a non-negative or monotone-type assumption on the nonlinearity, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one nontrivial solution, using the Leray–Schauder nonlinear alternative theorem. This paper extends recent results in differential equations to difference equations, quantum equations, and general dynamic equations on time scales.  相似文献

In this work, we are interested in the dynamic behavior of a parabolic problem with nonlinear boundary conditions and delay in the boundary. We construct a reaction–diffusion problem with delay in the interior, where the reaction term is concentrated in a neighborhood of the boundary and this neighborhood shrinks to boundary, as a parameter ? goes to zero. We analyze the limit of the solutions of this concentrated problem and prove that these solutions converge in certain continuous function spaces to the unique solution of the parabolic problem with delay in the boundary. This convergence result allows us to approximate the solution of equations with delay acting on the boundary by solutions of equations with delay acting in the interior and it may contribute to analyze the dynamic behavior of delay equations when the delay is at the boundary.  相似文献
