Zusammenfassung  Es werden zwei Methoden angegeben, um die Anzahlen der verschiedenen Partitionen von Multimengen zu bestimmen. Dabei werden Anzahl und M?chtigkeiten der Partitionsmengen vorgegeben, und es wird für jede Partitionsmenge festgelegt, ob die Reihenfolge ihrer Elemente berücksichtigt werden soll oder nicht. Damit lassen sich die Anzahlen der Kartenverteilungen zahlreicher Kartenspiele berechnen. Beispielhaft werden die entsprechenden Zahlen für die Spiele Skat, Doppelkopf, Rommé und Canasta angegeben. Zur Kohomologie von Gruppen mit abelschen Sylowuntergruppen

In 1962 Atiyah showed, with, the help of topological methods, the existence of a spectral sequence joining the cohomology ring of a finite group (with values in the rational integers) and the ring of generalized complex characters of the group. This paper undertakes to get that connection (at least in part) in a purely algebraic way. To that effect such ring filtrations of the character ring of a group are described that are functorially compatible with group morphisms and compatible with the induction of representations belonging to subgroups. The graded ring formed canonically by a filtration of that kind is to be compared with the cohomology ring of the same group, and it is shown, the group assumed to have abelian Sylow subgroups or to be a periodic group in a cohomological sense, that by taking a certain filtration its graded ring can be identified with a homomorphic part of the cohomology ring. (That corresponds to the infinite term of Atiyah's spectral sequence). The generalization of this result with respect to all finite groups has not yet been achieved; there is, however, a reduction theorem saying that it is sufficient to deal with groups of prime power order only. - As an application one gets lower bounds for the orders of the cohomology groups belonging to a finite group, especially, as a corollary, the theorem of its infinite cohomological dimension.

Let E, F be (B)-spaces and let E have the approximation property. Then the closure of FE in L_b (F,E) is identical with the space K(F,E) of compact maps in L(F,E). The following generalization of this well known statement is proved: Let E, F be complete, locally convex spaces and let E have the approximation property. Then, where denotes a 0-neighborhood base in F and refers to the completion of the tensor product with respect to the topology of bi-equicontinuous convergence.The last part is concerned with the adjoint map of a compact operator.     

Lineare Diskriminanzanalyse und Clusteranalyseverfahren bei Kreditscoringsystemen

Zusammenfassung Die Arbeit schließt unmittelbar anHäuler [1979] an. Deshalb werden Problemstellung und prinzipielle Lösungsmethode als bekannt vorausgesetzt. Im ersten Teil befassen wir uns mit der linearen Diskriminanzanalyse (LDA). Zunächst untersuchen wir, ob die üblichen Voraussetzungen, die der LDA zugrunde liegen, im vorliegenden Fall gegeben sind. Im zweiten Abschnitt werden Tests auf signifikante Gruppenunterschiede angegeben; im dritten Abschnitt werden einige Verfahren zur Variablenreduktion diskutiert. Insgesamt legt das gegebene Datenmaterial den Schluß nahe, daß sich die gegebenen Kredite nach ihren Merkmalsausprägungen in mehr als zwei Gruppen aufteilen lassen. Deshalb ziehen wir im zweiten Teil der Arbeit mehrere Clusteranalyse-Verfahren heran.

Summary This paper heavily relies uponHäuler [1979]. Therefore we are not going to discuss the problem itself and the principal procedures for its solution. The first part of this paper deals with the linear discriminant analysis (LDA). First we shall discuss the problem whether the usual theoretical basis of LDA is satisfied in our problem. Then several tests and algorithms are given. altogether the given data material leads to the conclusion, that the given credits are to be divided into more than two groups. This is the reason why the second part of this paper deals with several algorithms of clusteranalysis and their application to our problem.
