The238Pu,239,240Pu and137Cs concentrations in sediments and shore deposition samples of the Vltava river were determined.239,240Pu and137Cs concentrations in sediment samples (five locations) ranged from 19.6 to 124.8 mBq·kg−1 and from 1.8 to 28.2 Bq·kg−1, respectively. The238Pu,239,240Pu and137Cs concentrations in shore deposition samples (four locations) ranged from 2 to 16.8, from 26.8 to 477.2 mBq·kg−1, and from 1.6 to 86.3 Bq·kg−1, respectively. The superficial activity of studied radionuclides in shore deposition areas was determined and radionuclide origin at studied locations was discussed.  相似文献

Phase transitions, structures, and rheological properties of hydroxypropyl cellulose–ethylene glycol and ethyl cellulose–dimethylformamide systems in the presence and in the absence of a magnetic field have been studied. The application of the magnetic-field results in increases in viscosity and supramolecular particle size in solutions of cellulose ethers. Mathematical statistics methods in chemistry and biology make it possible to apply certain analytical methods, e.g., interphase tensiometry, in diagnosing physiological states of humans and animals. This study is the first to use the regression method for modeling the relationship between the biochemical parameters of blood serum and dynamic surface tension (DST). We also demonstrate how the regression model can be used to determine the contents of total protein and albumins in blood serum from the known DST values at the liquid/air interface. As a result of constructing the regression model, we propose the regression equations characterizing the relationship between the DST values and the content of protein components in blood serum of animals.  相似文献

Many environmental mutagens, including polyaromatic compounds are present in surface waters, often in complex mixtures and at low concentrations. The present study provides and applies a novel, integrated approach to isolate polyaromatic mutagens in river water using a sample from the River Elbe. The sample was taken downstream of industrial discharges using blue rayon (BR) as a passive sampler that selectively adsorbs polyaromatic compounds and was subjected to effect-directed fractionation in order to characterise the compounds causing the detected effect(s). The procedure relies on three complementary fractionation steps, the Ames fluctuation assay with strains TA98, YG1024 and YG1041 with and without S9 activation and analytical screening. Several mutagenic fractions were isolated by combining mutagenicity testing with fractionation. The enhanced mutagenicity in the nitroreductase and/or O-acetyltransferase overexpressing strains YG1024 and YG1041 strains suggested amino- and/or nitro-compounds causing mutagenicity in several fractions. Analytical screening of mutagenic fractions with LC-HRMS/MS provided a list of molecular formulas typically containing one to ten nitrogen and at least two oxygen atoms supporting the presence of amino and nitro-compounds in the mutagenic fractions.

The main aim of the TrainMiC® Convention was to gather TrainMiC® authorized trainers from all 19 countries involved in this programme. About 90% of all authorized TrainMiC® trainers assembled at this Convention, which shows the interest in and usefulness of the TrainMiC® system. The role and position of the authorized trainers was formally recognized by the introduction of a User License Agreement (based on a European Commission Decision, concerning the granting of a copyright license for TrainMiC® trainers, 17 December 2008) which was signed by the attendants. Participants received an update on the training material and could give their input and suggestions for improvement, which will then be discussed and reviewed by the Editorial Board. It is this which makes TrainMiC® a truly devolved and living system which can adapt itself. Participants also gave their input on how to further develop TrainMiC® from a system point of view. Topics included better focus on priority sectors, improved course interactivity, further improvement of pedagogical skills of authorized trainers, better marketing and identifying multiple sources of funding.  相似文献

MicroRNAs (MiRNAs) have been regarded as clinically important biomarkers and drug discovery targets. In this work, we reported a simple and ultrasensitive electrochemical method for miRNAs detection based on single enzyme amplification and electrochemical–chemical–chemical (ECC) redox cycling. Specifically, upon contact with the target miRNAs, the hairpin structure of biotinylated DNA immobilized on gold electrode was destroyed and the biotin group in DNA was forced away from the electrode surface, allowing for the coupling of streptavidin-conjugated alkaline phosphatase (SA-ALP). Then, ascorbic acid (AA, the enzymatic product of ALP) triggered the ECC redox cycling with ferrocene methanol (FcM) and tris(2-carboxyethyl)phosphine (TCEP) as the redox mediator and the chemical reducing reagent, respectively. The method was more sensitive than that with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) or glucose oxidase (GOx) triggered recycling since one ALP molecule captured by one target miRNA molecule promoted the production of thousands of AA. Analytical merits (e.g., detection limit, dynamic range, specificity, regeneration and reproducibility) were evaluated. The feasibility of the method for analysis of miRNA-21 in human serum has also been demonstrated.  相似文献

Reactive deposition processes of tantalum carbide are studied experimentally and theoretically in the Ta–C–Si–O–F system. It is shown that Sio2 substantially affects the carbide formation process. This is expressed in a decreased efficiency of tantalum transfer from the source zone to the crystallization zone, the possibility of bilateral transport of tantalum to carbon and carbon to tantalum, the complicated composition of condensed phases in the equilibrium with the gas phase. Aspects of preparing single crystal tantalum oxyfluoride are considered.  相似文献
