Characterization of {v μ+1 + 2v μ,v μ + 2v μ − 1;t,q}-min · hypers and its applications to error-correcting codes

Recently, Hamada [5] characterized all {v ₂ + 2v ₁,v ₁ + 2v ₀;t,q}-min · hypers for any integert 2 and any prime powerq 3 wherev _l = (q ^l – 1)/(q – 1) for any integerl 0. The purpose of this paper is to characterize all {v _{+ 1} + 2v ,v + 2v _{– 1};t,q}-min · hypers for any integerst, and any prime powerq such thatt 3, 2 t – 1 andq 5 and to characterize all (n, k, d; q)-codes meeting the Griesmer bound (1.1) for the casek 3, d = q ^k-1 – (2q ^-1 +q ) andq 5 using the results in Hamada [3, 4, 5].     

环F4[v]/(v2+v)上DNA码

文章研究了环R=F_4[v]/(v~2+v)上的DNA码.基于环R上长度为n的线性码的代数结构,给出了环R上长度为n的线性码是可逆的DNA码的一个充要条件.同时,给出了环R上长度为n的线性码是可逆补DNA码的一个充要条件.

Steinberg triality groups acting on 2 ? (<Emphasis Type="Italic">v,k</Emphasis>, 1) designs

A 2 - (υ, k, 1) design D = (ℙ,ℙ, ℬ) is a system consisting of a finite set ℙ of υ points and a collection ℬ of ℙ-subsets of ℙ, called blocks, such that each 2-subset of ℙ is contained in precisely one block. Let G be an automorphism group of a 2-(υ, k, 1) design. Delandtsheer proved that if G is block-primitive and D is not a projective plane, then G is almost simple, that is, T ⩽ G ⩽ Aut(T), where T is a non-abelian simple group. In this paper, we prove that T is not isomorphic to ³ D ₄(q). This paper is part of a project to classify groups and designs where the group acts primitively on the blocks of the design.

On Large Sets of v−1 L-Intersecting Steiner Triple Systems of Order v

This paper presents four new recursive constructions for large sets of v–1 STS(v). These facilitate the production of several new infinite families of such large sets. In particular, we obtain for each n2 a large set of 3 ⁿ –1 STS (3 ⁿ ) whose systems intersect in 0 or 3 blocks.

-Decompositions of and D v ∪P where P is a 2-Regular Subgraph of D v

In this paper, we extend the study of C₄-decompositions of the complete graph with 2-regular leaves and paddings to directed versions. Mainly, we prove that if P is a vertex-disjoint union of directed cycles in a complete digraph D_v, then and D_v∪P can be decomposed into directed 4-cycles, respectively, if and only if v(v−1)−|E(P)|≡0(mod 4) and v(v−1)+|E(P)|≡0(mod 4) where |E(P)| denotes the number of directed edges of P, and v≥8.     

The Existence of （v, 4, 1） Disjoint Difference Families with v a Prime Power

A （v, k, λ） difference family （（v, k, λ）-DF in short） over an abelian group G of order v, is a collection F=（Bi｜i ∈ I} of k-subsets of G, called base blocks, such that any nonzero element of G can be represented in precisely A ways as a difference of two elements lying in some base blocks in F. A （v, k, λ）-DDF is a difference family with disjoint blocks. In this paper, by using Weil＇s theorem on character sum estimates, it is proved that there exists a （p^n, 4, 1）-DDF, where p = 1 （rood 12） is a prime number and n ≥1.     

“断块”与 “板块”

从“断块”学说的观点看,“板块”是断块的一种特殊类型,它是被巨大的深切整个岩石圈的断裂带所围限的断块,是最大一级的断块,称做“岩石圈断块”. 板块学说主要是在对海洋的研究与地球物理研究的基础上发展起来的,它提出了一些有价值的新论点.但大多数研究板块的人,对大陆地区的地质情况还缺乏深入研究,不能充分利用本世纪以来在大陆地质构造研究方面所获得的科学结论与思想方法,这就使板块学说的进一步发展受到了阻碍。 本文先对断块学说的历史发展与现阶段理论作一简单介绍,然后应用断块构造的力学分析与历史分析方法,对板块构造研究中出现的一些主要问题谈一些看法.作者认为板块边界的力学机制主要是受基底锯齿状断裂的活动方式控制的,板块内部的应力分布也主要与板块内部次一级强度不同的断块的复杂活动有关。关于板块运动的驱动力,不但应考虑地球内部的热运动,而且应考虑到重力作用和地球作为一个旋转天体所具有的各种动力学行为.     

Quincunx multiresolution analysis for <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript>2</Superscript>(ℚ<Stack><Subscript>2</Subscript><Superscript>2</Superscript></Stack>)

With an eye on applications in quantum mechanics and other areas of science, much work has been done to generalize traditional analytic methods to p-adic systems. In 2002 the first paper on p-adic wavelets was published. Since then p-adic wavelet sets, multiresolution analyses, and wavelet frames have all been introduced. However, so far all constructions have involved dilations by p. This paper presents the first construction of a p-adic wavelet system with a more general matrix dilation, laying the foundation for further work in this direction.     

Approximation of the classes <Emphasis Type="Italic">C</Emphasis><Stack><Subscript>β</Subscript><Superscript>ψ</Superscript></Stack><Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis><Subscript>ω</Subscript> by generalized Zygmund sums

We obtain asymptotic equalities for the least upper bounds of approximations by Zygmund sums in the uniform metric on the classes of continuous 2π-periodic functions whose (ψ, β)-derivatives belong to the set H _ω in the case where the sequences ψ that generate the classes tend to zero not faster than a power function.

首先定义了一类新的矩阵一广义(u,v)幂等矩阵,然后研究了它的等价刻画,从而推广了(u,v)幂等矩阵、m幂幺矩阵、m幂等矩阵的一些相应结果.此外,也探讨了广义(u,v)幂等矩阵的性质,以及广义(u,v)幂等矩阵与广义m幂矩阵的关系.

The smooth structure set of <Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> × <Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">q</Emphasis></Superscript>

We calculate \({\mathcal{S}^{{\it Diff}}(S^p \times S^q)}\), the smooth structure set of S ^p × S ^q , for p, q ≥ 2 and p + q ≥ 5. As a consequence we show that in general \({\mathcal{S}^{Diff}(S^{4j-1}\times S^{4k})}\) cannot admit a group structure such that the smooth surgery exact sequence is a long exact sequence of groups. We also show that the image of the forgetful map \({\mathcal{S}^{Diff}(S^{4j}\times S^{4k}) \rightarrow \mathcal{S}^{Top}(S^{4j}\times S^{4k})}\) is not in general a subgroup of the topological structure set.
