In this present paper we establish space-time estimates of solutions for linear parabolic type equations based on classical multipliers theory or operator semigroup theory. According to space-time estimates we first construct suitable work space L^q(0, T; L^P), moreover we study the Cauchy problem and initial boundary value problem for semilinear parabolic equation in L^q(0, T; L^P) type space.  相似文献

A general class of singular abstract Cauchy problems is considered which naturally arises in applications to certain free boundary problems. Existence of an associated evolution operator characterizing its solutions is established and is subsequently used to derive optimal regularity results. The latter are well known to be important basic tools needed to deal with corresponding nonlinear Cauchy problems such as those associated to free boundary problems.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with viscosity solutions for a class of degenerate quasilinear parabolic equations in a bounded domain with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. The equation under consideration arises from a number of practical model problems including reaction–diffusion processes in a porous medium. The degeneracy of the problem appears on the boundary and possibly in the interior of the domain. The goal of this paper is to establish some comparison properties between viscosity upper and lower solutions and to show the existence of a continuous viscosity solution between them. An application of the above results is given to a porous-medium type of reaction–diffusion model which demonstrates some distinctive properties of the solution when compared with the corresponding semilinear problem.  相似文献

We establish existence, uniqueness, and regularity results for solutions to a class of free boundary parabolic problems, including the free boundary heat equation which arises in the so-called ``focusing problem' in the mathematical theory of combustion. Such solutions are proved to be smooth with respect to time for positive , if the data are smooth.

We prove existence of the largest entropy sub-solution and the smallest entropy super-solution to the Cauchy problem for a nonlinear degenerate parabolic equation with only continuous flux and diffusion functions. Applying this result, we establish the uniqueness of entropy solution with periodic initial data. The more general comparison principle is also proved in the case when at least one of the initial functions is periodic.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a new class of 3‐point boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional difference equations. Our problems contain difference and fractional sum boundary conditions. Existence and uniqueness of solutions are proved by using the Banach fixed‐point theorem, and existence of the positive solutions is proved by using the Krasnoselskii's fixed‐point theorem. We study asymptotics as t → ∞ of solutions to a linear, parabolic system of equations with time‐dependent coefficients in Ω × (0, ∞), where Ω is a bounded domain. On ? Ω × (0, ∞) we prescribe the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. For large values of t, the coefficients in the elliptic part are close to time‐independent coefficients in an integral sense which is described by a certain function κ (t). This includes in particular situations when the coefficients may take different values on different parts of Ω and the boundaries between them can move with t but stabilize as t → ∞. The main result is an asymptotic representation of solutions for large t. As a corollary, it is proved that if κL1(0, ∞), then the solution behaves asymptotically as the solution to a parabolic system with time‐independent coefficients (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In this paper, the long-time behaviour of solutions of a class of nonlinear parabolic equations is studied. It is shown that the solutions of initial-boundary value problem to the equations converge to a travelling wave solution of the equation or a self-similar solution of a Hamilton–Jacobi equation under certain conditions on initial and boundary values of the solutions.  相似文献

A stationary solution to the singularly perturbed parabolic equation ?u t + ε2 u xx ? f(u, x) = 0 with Neumann boundary conditions is considered. The limit of the solution as ε → 0 is a nonsmooth solution to the reduced equation f(u, x) = 0 that is composed of two intersecting roots of this equation. It is proved that the stationary solution is asymptotically stable, and its global domain of attraction is found.  相似文献
