In QCD, the strengths of the large scale temperature dependent chromomagnetic, B3, B8, and usual magnetic, H fields spontaneously generated in quark-gluon plasma after the deconfinement phase transition (DPT), are estimated. The consistent at high temperature effective potential accounting for the oneloop plus daisy diagrams is used. The heavy ion collisions at the LHC and temperatures T not much higher than the phase transition temperature Td are considered. The critical temperature for the magnetized plasma is found to be Td (H) ~ 110–120 MeV. This is essentially lower compared to the zero field value Td (H=0) ~ 160–180 MeV usually discussed in the literature. Due to contribution of quarks, the color magnetic fields act as the sources generating H. The strengths of the fields are B3(T), B8(T) ~ 1018–1019 G, H(T) ~ 1016–1017 G for temperatures T ~ 160–220 MeV. At temperatures T < 110–120 MeV the effective potential minimum value being negative approaches to zero. This is signaling the absence of the background fields and color confinement.  相似文献

The thermal conductivity k and resistivity ρ of biocarbon matrices, prepared by carbonizing medium-density fiberboard at T carb = 850 and 1500°C in the presence of a Ni-based catalyst (samples MDF-C( Ni)) and without a catalyst (samples MDF-C), have been measured for the first time in the temperature range of 5–300 K. X-ray diffraction analysis has revealed that the bulk graphite phase arises only at T carb = 1500°C. It has been shown that the temperature dependences of the thermal conductivity of samples MDFC- 850 and MDF-C-850(Ni) in the range of 80–300 K are to each other and follow the law of k(T) ~ T 1.65, but the use of the Ni-catalyst leads to an increase in the thermal conductivity by a factor of approximately 1.5, due to the formation of a greater fraction of the nanocrystalline phase in the presence of the Ni-catalyst at T carb = 850°C. In biocarbon MDF-C-1500 prepared without a catalyst, the dependence is k(T) ~ T 1.65, and it is controlled by the nanocrystalline phase. In MDF-C-1500(Ni), the bulk graphite phase formed increases the thermal conductivity by a factor of 1.5–2 compared to the thermal conductivity of MDF-C-1500 in the entire temperature range of 5–300 K; k(T = 300 K) reaches the values of ~10 W m–1 K–1, characteristic of biocarbon obtained without a catalyst only at high temperatures of T carb = 2400°C. It has been shown that MDF-C-1500(Ni) in the temperature range of 40?300 K is characterized by the dependence, k(T) ~ T 1.3, which can be described in terms of the model of partially graphitized biocarbon as a composite of an amorphous matrix with spherical inclusions of the graphite phase.  相似文献

Magnetic, elastic, magnetoelastic, transport, and magnetotransport properties of the Eu0.55Sr0.45MnO3 ceramics have been studied. A break was detected in the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity ρ(T) near the temperature of the magnetic phase transformation (41 K), with the material remaining an insulator down to the lowest measurement temperature reached (ρ=106 Ω cm at 4.2 K). In the interval 4.2≤T≤50 K, the isotherms of the magnetization, volume magnetostriction, and ρ were observed to undergo jumps at the critical field HC1, which decreases with increasing T. For 50≤T≤120 K, the jumps in the above curves persist, but the pattern of the curves changes and HC1 grows with increasing T. The magnetoresistance Δρ/ρ = (ρ H H=0)/ρ H is positive for H<HC1 and passes through a maximum at 41 K, where Δρ/ρ = 6%. For H>HC1, the magnetoresistance is negative, passes through a minimum near 41 K, and reaches a colossal value of 3×105 % at H=45 kOe. The volume magnetostriction is negative and attains a giant value of 4.5×10?4atH=45 kOe. The observed properties are assigned to the existence of three phases in Eu0.55Sr0.45MnO3, namely, a ferromagnetic (FM) phase, in which carriers are concentrated because of the gain in s-d exchange energy, and two antiferromagnetic (AFM) phases of the A and CE types. Their fractional volumes at low temperatures were estimated to be as follows: ~3% of the sample volume is occupied by the FM phase; ~67%, by the CE-type AFM phase; and ~30%, by the A-type AFM phase.  相似文献

Evolution of optical, magnetooptical, and transport properties of La1?x Ag x MnO3/SrTiO3 epitaxial films depending on the silver concentration (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.25) is studied. The highest values of the Curie temperature (T C ≈ 317 K), magnetoresistance (~16%), magnetotransmission (~8%), and transverse Kerr effect (δ ~ 20 × 10?3) are attained for a concentration x = 0.10 of Ag+ ions. Comparison of the temperature dependences of the transmission of IR radiation, resistivity, magnetotransmission, magnetoresistance, and Kerr effect indicates electronic and magnetic inhomogeneity of the films in spite of saturation of films with silver. This feature of the film state is explained using the concepts of epitaxial stresses and metastable point defects.  相似文献

The low-temperature dependences of magnetic characteristics (namely, the coercive force H c , the remanent magnetization M r , local magnetic anisotropy fields H a, and the saturation magnetization M s ) determined from the irreversible and reversible parts of the magnetization curves for Fe3C ferromagnetic nanoparticles encapsulated in carbon nanotubes are investigated experimentally. The behavior of the temperature dependences of the coercive force H c (T) and the remanent magnetization M r (T) indicates a single-domain structure of the particles under study and makes it possible to estimate their blocking temperature T B = 420–450 K. It is found that the saturation magnetization M s and the local magnetic anisotropy field H a vary with temperature as ~T 5/2.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of Pb1 ? x Ge x Te(Ga) (x = 0.02, 0.03, 0.05) were studied in the temperature range 77–150 K at frequencies of 104–106 Hz. It is revealed that the ferroelectric phase transition temperature T c and the permittivity ? of Pb1 ? x Ge x Te(Ga) increase substantially with the Ge content. The temperature dependence of the permittivity of Pb1 ? x Ge x Te shows two peaks; the main peak is at the ferroelectric phase transition temperature T c , and an additional peak is at T 1 > T c .  相似文献

Diffraction enhancement of small effects affecting a neutron undergoing Laue diffraction at Bragg angles θ B close to 90° is predicted and experimentally observed. The enhancement is due to the delay of the neutron inside the crystal during diffraction and is proportional to tan2 θ B. As a result, the diffraction enhancement factor may be as large as ~108–109. On this basis, a new method is proposed for searching for the electric charge of the neutron and for measuring the ratio of its inertial mass m i to the gravitational mass m G . It is shown that the accuracy of the neutron charge measurement can be improved by more than two orders of magnitude in relation to the present-day accuracy and that the ratio m i /m G can be measured to an precision of σ(m i /m G ) ~ 10?6.  相似文献

We have studied the resistivity and thermoelectromotive force (thermo emf) in a temperature range of T = 80–1000 K, the magnetic susceptibility and magnetization in a temperature range of T = 4.2–300 K at an external magnetic field of up to 70 kOe, and the structural characteristics of Co x Mn1?x S sulfides (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4). Anomalies in the transport properties of these compounds have been found in the temperature intervals ΔT 1 = 200–270 K and ΔT 2 = 530–670 K and at T 3T N. The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and resistivity, as well as the current-voltage characteristics, exhibit hysteresis. In the domain of magnetic ordering at temperatures below the Néel temperature (T N), the antiferromagnetic Co x Mn1?x S sulfides possess a spontaneous magnetic moment that is explained using a model of the orbital ordering of electrons in the t 2g bands. The influence of the cobalt-ion-induced charge ordering on the transport and magnetic properties of sulfides has been studied. The calculated values of the temperatures corresponding to the maxima of charge susceptibility, which are related to a competition between the on-site Coulomb interaction of holes in various subbands and their weak hybridization, agree well with the experimental data.  相似文献

The spins of Ru5+ ions in Sr2YRuO6 form a face-centered cubic lattice with antiferromagnetic nearest neighbor interaction J≈25 meV. The antiferromagnetic structure of the first type experimentally observed below the Néel temperature T N =26 K corresponds to four frustrated spins of 12 nearest neighbors. In the Heisenberg model in the spin-wave approximation, the frustrations already cause instability of the antiferromagnetic state at T=0 K. This state is stabilized by weak anisotropy D or exchange interaction I with the next-nearest neighbors. Low D/JI/J~10?3 values correspond to the experimental T N and sublattice magnetic moment values.  相似文献

The population of excited states of the hydrogen atom in an afterglow plasma produced by a pulsed discharge in helium (40 Torr) with a small admixture of hydrogen ([H2] ≈ 1012 cm?3) has been studied spectroscopically. The contribution from electron-ion recombination Γ 3 rec to the production rate of atoms H(n = 3) has been separated. On the basis of an experiment in which the response of the spectral line intensities to the perturbation of the electron temperature in the afterglow phase was observed, the dependence Γ 3 rec (T e T e ?(0.9–1.0) has been obtained in the region kT e = 0.026–0.064 eV.  相似文献

One-phonon visible-range Raman spectra of a-C: H〈Cu〉 and a-C: H〈Co〉 composite films with comparable metal and carbon contents were studied in the frequency region 1200–1700 cm?1 including the carbon sp2-bond vibrations. Broad bands G and D characteristic of unmodified a-C: H films, as well as some additional features, are observed experimentally in the spectra. By unfolding the spectra into Gaussian components, it was possible to follow the variation of Raman shifts and of contributions of individual components to the spectrum as a function of metal content and thermal annealing. The data obtained, complemented by available information on carbon sp2-coordinated systems, show that incorporation of Cu or Co favors growth and ordering of graphite-like nanoclusters in a-C: H, the effect being substantially stronger in the case of Co. It is shown that the process of metal-stimulated graphitization includes carbon bond breaking with the formation of short chainlike fragments and their linkage with the formation of aromatic-ring nanoclusters. A qualitatively similar sp2-structure rearrangement takes place under thermal annealing. For the Cu and Co concentrations studied, the linear dimensions L a of graphite-like clusters are estimated to vary from ~0.8 nm in unannealed a-C: H to ~1.0 and ~1.2 nm in annealed a-C: H〈Cu〉 and a-C: H〈Co〉, respectively. The number of aromatic rings in these clusters is approximately estimated to increase from 12 to 16 (for Cu) and 20 (for Co).  相似文献

Complex permittivity ε*/ε0 = ε′/ε0iε″/ε0 of the bismuth–lanthanum manganite Bi0.6La0.4MnO3 ceramics has been measured in the temperature range of 10–220 K at frequencies f = 20–106 Hz and magnetic inductions B = 0–0.846 T. At a temperature of 80 K, the spectra ε′/ε0(t) and ε″/ε0(t) demonstrate the dielectric relaxation that is a superposition of contributions of several relaxation processes, each of which is dominant in its frequency range: I (f < 103 Hz, II (103 < f < 105 Hz), and III (105 < f < 106 Hz). In the range of 10–120 K, anomalous behavior of ε′/ε0(T) and ε″/ε0(T) is observed near the temperature of the transition from the paramagnetic to ferromagnetic phase and is due to the Anderson localization of charge carrier on a spin disorder.  相似文献

The main properties and the type of the field-tuned quantum critical point in the heavy-fermion metal CeCoIn5 that arise upon application of magnetic fields B are considered within a scenario based on fermion condensation quantum phase transition. We analyze the behavior of the effective mass, resistivity, specific heat, charge, and heat transport as functions of applied magnetic fields B and show that, in the Landau Fermi liquid regime, these quantities demonstrate critical behavior, which is scaled by the critical behavior of the effective mass. We show that, in the high-field non-Fermi liquid regime, the effective mass exhibits very specific behavior, M*~ T? 2/3, and the resistivity demonstrates T2/3 dependence. Finally, at elevated temperatures, it changes to M*~T?1/2, while the resistivity becomes linear in T. In zero magnetic field, the effective mass is controlled by temperature T and the resistivity is also linear in T. The obtained results are in good agreement with recent experimental facts.  相似文献

This paper reports on measurements of the thermal conductivity κ and the electrical conductivity σ of high-porosity (cellular pores) biocarbon precursors of white pine tree wood in the temperature range 5–300 K, which were prepared by pyrolysis of the wood at carbonization temperatures (T carb) of 1000 and 2400°C. The x-ray structural analysis has permitted the determination of the sizes of the nanocrystallites contained in the carbon framework of the biocarbon precursors. The sizes of the nanocrystallites revealed in the samples prepared at T carb = 1000 and 2400°C are within the ranges 12–35 and 25–70 Å, respectively. The dependences κ(T) and σ(T) are obtained for samples cut along the tree growth direction. As follows from σ(T) measurements, the biocarbon precursors studied are semiconducting. The values of κ and σ increase with increasing carbonization temperature of the samples. Thermal conductivity measurements have revealed that samples of both types exhibit a temperature dependence of the phonon thermal conductivity κph, which is not typical of amorphous (and amorphous to x-rays) materials. As the temperature increases, κph first varies proportional to T, to scale subsequently as ~T 1.7. The results obtained are analyzed.  相似文献

We numerically study particle acceleration by the electric field induced near the horizon of a rotating supermassive (M ~ 109–1010M) black hole embedded in the magnetic field B. We find that acceleration of protons to the energy E ~ 1020 eV is possible only at extreme values of M and B. We also find that the acceleration is very inefficient and is accompanied by a broad-band MeV-TeV radiation whose total power exceeds the total power emitted in ultrahigh energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) at least by a factor of 1000. This implies that if O(10) nearby quasar remnants were sources of proton events with an energy E > 1020 eV, then each quasar remnant would, e.g., overshine the Crab Nebula by more than two orders of magnitude in the TeV energy band. Recent TeV observations exclude this possibility. A model in which O(100) sources are situated at 100–1000 Mpc is not ruled out and can be experimentally tested by present TeV γ-ray telescopes. Such a model can explain the observed UHECR flux at moderate energies E ≈ (4–5) × 1019 eV.  相似文献

LiCo1???x Ca x PO4–graphitic carbon foam composites are prepared using a sol–gel method. The structural analysis reveals LiCoPO4 as major crystalline phase and Co2P2O7 (for x?=?0.0) and Co2P, Li3PO4, and (Ca,Co)3(PO4)2 (for x?≥?0.05) as secondary phases. The morphology consists of microcrystalline “islands” with acicular crystallites (5–50 μm size). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of the powders showed that the Ca is incorporated into the crystal structure evoking exaggerated grain growth. The voltammetric profiles show a decrease of the voltammetric surface between anodic and cathodic sweeps and a shift of the reduction potentials toward higher values (~4.6 V, x?=?0.1). The electrochemical measurements, at a discharge rate of C/10 (room temperature), show an increase of the discharge-specific capacity from 100 mAhg?1 for x?=?0.0 to 104 mAhg?1 for x?=?0.1. The ac impedance spectroscopy data revealed an improvement of the Li-ion conductivity at high content of Ca ions (x?=?0.1).  相似文献

Studies of the magnetization curves of electron-doped single-crystal manganites Ca1 ? x Ln x MnO3 (Ln = La3+, Ce4+; x ≤ 0.12) in strong pulsed magnetic fields of up to 350 kOe have revealed a metamagnetic transition in Ca0.9Ce0.1MnO3 in the temperature range 77–190 K. The critical transition fields increase to ~350 kOe with the temperature decreasing to 100 K. The spin polarization is ~50% of the theoretical value. These results are interpreted as due to “melting” of the orbital/charge ordering below the temperature T OO/CO = 185 K = T N (of the C type AFM phase); this entails a decrease in the volume of the ordered phase with localized carriers and an increase in the volume of the ferromagnetic phase with delocalized carriers. The temperature and field dependences of the magnetization are used to compare two manganite systems in the region of the two-phase magnetic state.  相似文献

Long-time polarization relaxation in the temperature range where PBSN-6 single crystals reside in the relaxor state was studied. An analysis of the time dependence of the permittivity ε′(t) performed at measuring frequencies from 1 Hz to 1 kHz in weak electric fields E0 showed that the relaxation (or freezing) times derived by extrapolating relations of the type ε′(t) ~ log(t/t0) and ε′(t) ~ exp{?[ln(t/t0)]β} range from 108 to 1011 min and depend substantially on the bias voltage applied to the sample. A study of the pattern of the dielectric response in moderate and strong infralow-frequency fields revealed that, after a sample was maintained under a bias lower than the coercive force, it no longer exhibited the additional anomalies in the amplitude dependences of the effective loss tangent taneff(E0) than were observed in a thermally recuperated sample.  相似文献
