Paper is devoted to the solvability analysis of variational equations obtained by linearization of the Euler-Poisson equations for the symmetric rigid body with a fixed point on the equatorial plain. In this case Euler-Poisson equations have two pendulum like particular solutions. Symmetric heavy top is integrable only in four famous cases. In this paper is shown that a family of cases can be distinguished such that Euler-Poisson equations are not integrable but variational equations along particular solutions are solvable. The connection of this result with analysis made in XIX century by R. Liouville is also discussed.  相似文献

来源于输运理论的非对称代数Riccati 方程可等价地转化成向量方程组来求解. 本文提出了求解该向量方程组的几个预估-校正迭代格式,证明了这些迭代格式所产生的序列是严格单调递增且有上界,并收敛于向量方程 组的最小正解. 最后,给出了一些数值实验,实验结果表明,本文所提出的算法是有效的.  相似文献

在很多海洋、大气等二维流动问题中所用的动力学方程往往沿用推广后的河流水力学方程或"纳维-斯托克斯方程"其中把湍流阻力项写成这样的方程式和湍流阻力项用到实际问题上去,无疑是存在着极大的局限性,而将导致矛盾百出.本文则从雷诺方程出发,把所有的物理量沿深度加以平均,求出平均以后的物理量所满足的运动方程,连续方程和扩散方程.  相似文献

Lepage 2-forms appear in the variational sequence as representatives of the classes of 2-forms. In the theory of ordinary differential equations on jet bundles they are used to construct exterior differential systems associated with the equations and to study solutions, and help to solve the inverse problem of the calculus of variations: since variational equations are characterized by Lepage 2-forms that are closed. In this paper, a general setting for Lepage forms in the variational sequence is presented, and Lepage 2-forms in the theory of second-order differential equations in general and of variational equations in particular, are investigated in detail. 当具有n个自由度的系统加有P个冲击性的约束时,要求解系统的运动,一般都需要解含n+P个方程的方程组.本文提出以待定乘子法为基础,分别就取广义坐标和伪坐标的二种情况,从n个碰撞方程中消去未知的待定乘子,将碰撞方程简化为n-P个,它和P个冲击性约束方程一起组成了含n个方程的方程组,就能求解具有冲击性约束的碰撞问题,这比一般方法更为简便.  相似文献

In this paper we consider some equations similar to Navier-Stokes equations, the three-dimensional Leray-alpha equations with space periodic boundary conditions. We establish the regularity of the equations by using the classical Faedo-Galerkin method. Our argument shows that there exist an unique weak solution and an unique strong solution for all the time for the Leray-alpha equations, furthermore, the strong solutions are analytic in time with values in the Gevrey class of functions (for the space variable). The relations between the Leray-alpha equations and the Navier-Stokes equations are also considered.  相似文献

This paper examines partial differential equations for frictional materials flowing via plastic yield, including the equations given by the Critical State Theory of Soil Mechanics. In particular, the material density is considered as a dependent variable. In previous work we demonstrated that two-dimensional plastic flow may be ill posed due to an instability along two rays in Fourier transform space. In this paper, we show that in three dimensions the equations are linearly well posed provided all three strain rates are nonzero.  相似文献

In our previous paper we obtained examples of lattice solutions to the aesthetic field equations. A drawback with these solutions was that the integrability equations were not satisfied. In this paper we find a solution to the aesthetic field equations which describes a two-dimensional lattice structure. The integrability equations are satisfied in this case. We work within a six-dimensional framework in this paper. Three of the coordinates are real and three of the coordinates are pure imaginary. It is a generalization of the Minkowski version of aesthetic field theory.  相似文献

We provide minimal universal denominators for linear difference equations with fixed leading and trailing coefficients. In the case of first-order equations, they are factors of Abramov's universal denominators. In this paper the far-field equations in linear elasticity for scattering from disjoint rigid bodies and cavities are considered. The direct scattering problem is formulated in differential and integral form. The boundary integral equations are constructed using a combination of single- and double-layer potentials. Using a Fredholm type theory it is proved that these boundary integral equations are uniquely solvable. Assuming that the incident field is produced by a superposition of plane incident waves in all directions of propagation and polarization it is established that the scattered field is also expressed as the superposition of the corresponding scattered fields. A pair of integral equations of the first kind which hold independently of the boundary conditions are constructed for the far-field region. The properties of the Herglotz functions are used to derive solvability conditions for the far-field equations. It is also proved that the far-field operators, in terms of which we can express the far-field equations, are injective and have dense range. An analytical example for spheres illuminates the theoretical results.  相似文献

We consider solitary-wave solutions of equations of Benjamin-Bona-Mahony type. We show that for a large class of equations of BBM type, there do exist stable sets consisting of solitary-wave profile functions. In the case of generalized BBM equations, we found that there are profile functions of stable solitary waves that are not the minimizers of the associated variational problem. Such a phenomenon is not known to exist for equations of Korteweg-de Vries type.  相似文献

In the paper, stochastic differential equations with random impulses and Markovian switching are brought forward, where the so-called random impulse means that impulse ranges are driven by a series of random variables and impulse times are a random sequence, so these equations extend stochastic differential equations with jumps and Markovian switching. Then the existence and uniqueness of solutions to such equations are investigated by employing the Bihari inequality under non-Lipschtiz conditions.  相似文献

Time fractional diffusion-wave equations are generalizations of classical diffusion and wave equations which are used in modeling practical phenomena of diffusion and wave in fluid flow, oil strata and others. In this paper we construct two finite difference schemes to solve a class of initial-boundary value time fractional diffusion-wave equations based on its equivalent partial integro-differential equations. Under the weak smoothness conditions, we prove that our two schemes are convergent with first-order accuracy in temporal direction and second-order accuracy in spatial direction. Numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

Symmetry group properties and similarity solutions of the variant nonlinear long-wave equations in the form of system of nonlinear partial differential equations are analyzed. Lie symmetry group analysis of the variant nonlinear long-wave equations presents that the system has only two-parameter point symmetry group that corresponds to only traveling wave solutions. The symmetry groups yield the general reduced similarity form of the system, which is in the system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. By using the improved tanh method the similarity solutions are obtained from the reduced system of equations. In addition, some graphical representations of the solitary and periodic solutions are presented.  相似文献

In order to describe slow modulations in time and space of stable or slightly unstable spatially periodic stationary solutions of pattern forming reaction–diffusion systems, so-called phase diffusion equations and Cahn–Hilliard equations can be derived via multiple scaling analysis as formal approximation equations. In the case that these equations degenerate, waiting time phenomena are well known to occur. In this paper, we prove that such waiting time phenomena can also occur approximately in the original reaction–diffusion systems by proving estimates between the formal approximations and the exact solutions of the original systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a new defect correction method for the Navier-Stokes equations is presented. With solving an artificial viscosity stabilized nonlinear problem in the defect step, and correcting the residual by linearized equations in the correction step for a few steps, this combination is particularly efficient for the Navier-Stokes equations at high Reynolds numbers. In both the defect and correction steps, we use the Oseen iterative scheme to solve the discrete nonlinear equations. Furthermore, the stability and convergence of this new method are deduced, which are better than that of the classical ones. Finally, some numerical experiments are performed to verify the theoretical predictions and show the efficiency of the new combination.  相似文献
