Existence and uniqueness of solution for quasi-equilibrium problems and fixed point problems on complete metric spaces with applications

In this paper, we presented new and important existence theorems of solution for quasi-equilibrium problems, and we show the uniqueness of its solution which is also a fixed point of some mapping. We also show that this unique solution can be obtained by Picard’s iteration method. We also get new minimax theorem, and existence theorems for common solution of fixed point and optimization problem on complete metric spaces. Our results are different from any existence theorems for quasi-equilibrium problems and minimax theorems in the literatures.     

锥凸对称向量拟均衡问题解集的通有稳定性

在拓扑向量空间中,利用Ky Fan截口定理得到一个锥凸向量拟均衡问题弱Pareto解的存在性结果.作为该结果的应用,得到了一个对称向量拟均衡问题在支付映射为锥凸条件下弱Pareto解的存在性定理.该定理在较弱的条件下回答了Fu在文献[1]中提出的第二个问题,即在支付映射为锥凸且连续的条件下对称向量拟均衡问题的弱Pareto解是否存在.最后在赋范线性空间中研究了锥凸对称向量拟均衡问题弱Pareto解集的通有稳定性.     

A rate of convergence for asymptotic contractions

In [P. Gerhardy, A quantitative version of Kirk's fixed point theorem for asymptotic contractions, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 316 (2006) 339-345], P. Gerhardy gives a quantitative version of Kirk's fixed point theorem for asymptotic contractions. This involves modifying the definition of an asymptotic contraction, subsuming the old definition under the new one, and giving a bound, expressed in the relevant moduli and a bound on the Picard iteration sequence, on how far one must go in the iteration sequence to at least once get close to the fixed point. However, since the convergence to the fixed point needs not be monotone, this theorem does not provide a full rate of convergence. We here give an explicit rate of convergence for the iteration sequence, expressed in the relevant moduli and a bound on the sequence. We furthermore give a characterization of asymptotic contractions on bounded, complete metric spaces, showing that they are exactly the mappings for which every Picard iteration sequence converges to the same point with a rate of convergence which is uniform in the starting point.     

Gap Functions and Existence of Solutions to Generalized Vector Quasi-Equilibrium Problems

This paper deals with generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems. By virtue of a nonlinear scalarization function, the gap functions for two classes of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems are obtained. Then, from an existence theorem for a generalized quasi-equilibrium problem and a minimax inequality, existence theorems for two classes of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems are established. This research is partially supported by the Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

在局部FC-一致空间内引入和研究了某些新的联立广义矢量拟平衡问题组和具有联立广义矢量拟平衡组约束的数学规划.应用作者在局部FC-一致空间得到的Himmelberg型不动点定理,首先在局部FC-一致空间内对联立广义矢量拟平衡问题组的解证明了某些新的存在性定理.作为应用,对具有联立广义矢量拟平衡组约束的数学规划的解得到了某些新的存在性定理.     

Weak and Strong Convergence Theorems for New Demimetric Mappings and the Split Common Fixed Point Problem in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in Banach spaces. Using the idea of Mann’s iteration, we prove a weak convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in Banach spaces. Furthermore, using the idea of Halpern’s iteration, we obtain a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in Banach spaces. Using these results, we obtain well-known and new weak and strong convergence theorems in Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces.     

Generalized KKM-type theorems for weakly generalized KKM mapping with some applications

In this paper, we establish some new generalized KKM-type theorems based on weakly generalized KKM mapping without any convexity structure in topological spaces. As applications, some minimax inequalities and an existence theorem of equilibrium points for an abstract generalized vector equilibrium problem are proved in topological spaces. The results presented in this paper unify and generalize some known results in recent literature.     

集值映射的对称向量拟均衡问题

研究向量集值映射的拟均衡问题的有效解,利用数值化方法与不动点定理,得到解的存在性定理.作为应用,得到广义向量鞍点,向量变分不等式与向量互补问题的存在性定理.     

Solutions of system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems in locally G-convex uniform spaces

In this paper we establish a collectively fixed point theorem and an equilibrium existence theorem for generalized games in product locally G-convex uniform spaces. As applications, some new existence theorems of solutions for the system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems are derived in product locally G-convex uniform spaces. These theorems are new and generalize some known results in the literature.     

On maximal element theorems,variants of Ekeland’s variational principle and their applications

In this paper, we establish several different versions of generalized Ekeland’s variational principle and maximal element theorem for τ$\tau$-functions in ?$?$ complete metric spaces. The equivalence relations between maximal element theorems, generalized Ekeland’s variational principle, generalized Caristi’s (common) fixed point theorems and nonconvex maximal element theorems for maps are also proved. Moreover, we obtain some applications to a nonconvex minimax theorem, nonconvex vectorial equilibrium theorems and convergence theorems in complete metric spaces.

在局部FC-一致空间内,引入和研究了某些新的涉及凝聚集值映象的广义矢量拟平衡问题组．应用作者在文(Ⅰ)中对局部FC-一致空间内的凝聚集值映象得到的极大元存在性定理,在局部FC-一致空间内,对这些广义矢量拟平衡问题组的解,证明了某些新的存在性定理．这些结果改进和推广了文献中某些已知结果到局部FC-一致空间．     

Symmetric strong vector quasi-equilibrium problems

In this paper, we introduce the symmetric strong vector quasi-equilibrium problem. We then demonstrate that the symmetric strong vector quasi-equilibrium problem is solvable under the suitable assumptions. As an application, we get an existence theorem of the strong saddle points of vector-valued functions. In addition, we give a characterization of vector-valued properly quasi-convex functions. 本文利用局部凸拓扑向量空间中的分离定理,得到一类很一般的Ｇａｌｅ型定理,由此导出某些新的Ｍｉｎｉｍａｘ定理,这些结果是己知文献结果的实质性推广．     

Minimax theorems for scalar set-valued mappings with nonconvex domains and applications

In this paper, by virtue of the separation theorem of convex sets, we prove a minimax theorem, a cone saddle point theorem and a Ky Fan minimax theorem for a scalar set-valued mapping under nonconvex assumptions of its domains, respectively. As applications, we obtain an existence result for the generalized vector equilibrium problem with a set-valued mapping. Simultaneously, we also obtain some generalized Ky Fan minimax theorems for set-valued mappings, in which the minimization and the maximization of set-valued mappings are taken in the sense of vector optimization.     

抽象凸空间上的弱KKM映射, 相交定理和极大极小不等式

In this paper,we introduce the concept of weakly KKM map on an abstract convex space without any topology and linear structure,and obtain Fan＇s matching theorem and intersection theorem under very weak assumptions on abstract convex spaces.Finally,we give several minimax inequality theorems as applications.These results generalize and improve many known results in recent literature.     

On an equivalence of topological vector space valued cone metric spaces and metric spaces

Scalarization method is an important tool in the study of vector optimization as corresponding solutions of vector optimization problems can be found by solving scalar optimization problems. Recently this has been applied by Du (2010) [14] to investigate the equivalence of vectorial versions of fixed point theorems of contractive mappings in generalized cone metric spaces and scalar versions of fixed point theorems in general metric spaces in usual sense. In this paper, we find out that the topology induced by topological vector space valued cone metric coincides with the topology induced by the metric obtained via a nonlinear scalarization function, i.e any topological vector space valued cone metric space is metrizable, prove a completion theorem, and also obtain some more results in topological vector space valued cone normed spaces.     

Ekeland's variational principle, minimax theorems and existence of nonconvex equilibria in complete metric spaces

In this paper, we introduce the concept of τ-function which generalizes the concept of w-distance studied in the literature. We establish a generalized Ekeland's variational principle in the setting of lower semicontinuous from above and τ-functions. As applications of our Ekeland's variational principle, we derive generalized Caristi's (common) fixed point theorems, a generalized Takahashi's nonconvex minimization theorem, a nonconvex minimax theorem, a nonconvex equilibrium theorem and a generalized flower petal theorem for lower semicontinuous from above functions or lower semicontinuous functions in the complete metric spaces. We also prove that these theorems also imply our Ekeland's variational principle.     

New Saddle Point Theorem Beyond Topological Vector Spaces

The purpose of this note is to prove a new topological saddle-point theorem, which in turn includes classical saddle-point theorems such as the Sion minimax theorem and others in topological vector spaces as special cases.

该文在广义G -凸空间中引入并研究了一类新的广义矢量拟平衡问题组(SGVQEP).利用作者的一族集值映象的极大元存在定理,证明了广义对策的一个新的平衡存在定理.作为应用,在非紧乘积G -凸空间中证明了SGVQEP解的一些新的存在定理.     

A fixed point theorem for contraction type maps in partially ordered metric spaces and application to ordinary differential equations

We present a fixed point theorem for generalized contraction in partially ordered complete metric spaces. As an application, we give an existence and uniqueness for the solution of a periodic boundary value problem.
