The electric quadrupole moments of the 9/2 and 21/2 isomeric states of 173Ta at 165.8 keV and 1713.2 keV, respectively, were measured as Q(9/2)=2.92(15) b and Q(21/2)=6.23(18) b for the first time using the TDPAD technique. A 66 MeV pulsed 12C ion beam from the 15UD pelletron accelerator facility of the Nuclear Science Centre at New Delhi was used in the reaction 165Ho(12C, 4nγ)173Ta. The experimental values of equilibrium deformations β2(9/2)=0.251(7) and β2(21/2)=0.391(7) were extracted. The electric quadrupole coupling constant of the 7+ 350.8 keV isomeric state in112In has been measured by the TDPAD method in the polycrystalline metallic Cd lattice at 489 K. The determined quadrupole moment |Q| (7+)=103(3) fm2 was compared with the empirical estimation according to the additivity relation and the calculated value within the interacting boson-fermion-fermion/odd-odd truncated quadrupole phonon model. The quadrupole moment of the 8 613.7 keV isomeric state has been remeasured as |Q|(8)=9.5(3) fm2.  相似文献

Observation with an improved signal-to-noise ratio of the hyperfine resonance pattern of199Hg+ stored in a radiofrequency trap is reported. A frequency control loop which locks the frequency of a 5MHz quartz crystal oscillator to the hyperfine transition of stored mercury ions, close to 40.5 GHz, is described. In this system, pulses delivered by the photomultiplier are processed digitally. Optimal conditions for the interrogation of the hyperfine transition are specified. A fractional frequency stability σy(τ)=3.6×10−11τ−1/2 for 10s<τ<3500s has been obtained. This frequency stability is comparble to that of commercially available cesium beam frequency standards. Prospect for improvement by a factor of at least 10 are discussed. This work has been sponsored by DRET  相似文献

The magnetic hyperfine splitting frequencies of187WFe,182Re(j π=2+)Ni,183ReNi,186ReNi,186ReFe and203PbFe in a zero external magnetic field have been determined by the NMR-ON method at about 7 mK as 225.56(6), 130.9(1), 98.17(4), 136.6(4), 1007.0(3) and 58.43(3) MHz, respectively. With the knowng-factors ofg(186Re, 1)=1.739(3) andg(203Pb, 5/2)=0.27456(20), the following hyperfine fields were deduced:B HF(186ReNi)=−103.05(35) kG;B HF(186ReFe)=−759.7(13) kG;B HF(203PbFe)=+279.18(25) kG. Taking hyperfine anomalies into account, theg-factor of183Re was deduced as |g(183Re, 5/2+)|=1.267(6). With the assumption of Knight shift factorK=0, theg-factors of182Re and187W and the hyperfine field of187WFe were determined as |g(182Re, 2+)|=1.63(5), |g(187W, 3/2)|=0.414(10) andB HF(187WFe) =−714(18) kG. The large hyperfine anomaly was deduced to be183W Δ187W =−0.124(22).  相似文献

Abstact: High-spin states in 183Re have been studied using the 176Yb(11B,4n) reaction at 52 and 57 MeV. Two high-K bands have been observed directly by a time-correlated γ-γ coincidence measurement. One of the bands is built on an isomeric K π=(25/2)+ state at E x= 1908 keV with a half-life of 0.82(2) ms. The other band, assigned as K π=(29/2) at E x= 2739 keV, decays to the (25/2)+ band. These bands are interpreted as three-quasiparticle structures, π(5/2)+[402] &⊗ν(9/2)+[624] ⊗ν(11/2)+[615] for the (25/2)+ band and π(9/2)[514] ⊗ν(9/2)+[624] ⊗ν(11/2)+[615] for the (29/2) band. The K π= (29/2) band becomes strongly Coriolis mixed with increasing spin and is gradually changing into a low-K s-band structure. Received: 20 April 1998  相似文献

The relaxation timeτ(ω) for the scattering of the lattice waves of frequencyω by the paraelastic defects has been calculated by using the Feynman graph method, applied to a previous theoretical model [8]. A simple expression for the resonance component ofτ(ω)−1 has been derived.
Zusammenfassung Die Relaxationszeitτ(ω) für die Streuung der Gitterwellen der Frequenzω an den paraelastischen Defekten wurde nach der Methode der Feynmanschen Graphen berechnet, wobei ein früheres theoretisches Modell [8] angewendet wurde. Ein einfacher Ausdruck für den Resonanzteil vonτ(ω)−1 wurde hergeleitet.

High-spin states in the odd-odd 168Lu nucleus, populated in the 154Sm(19F,5n) reaction at a beam energy of 96 MeV, were investigated using in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy techniques. The BC neutron crossing in the yrast band, based on πg 7/2[404]7/2+⊗νi 13/2[642]5/2+ configuration, occurs at ħω= 0.31 MeV. The two side bands, based on πh 11/2[514]9/2⊗νi 13/2[642]5/2+ and πh 9/2[541]1/2⊗νi 13/2[642]5/2+ configurations, show anomalous signature-splitting and signature-inversion in the first one, to occur at ħω= 0.24 MeV. A study is made of the change in the dependences of the normal velocity of twinning boundaries on the magnitude of shear stresses in the twinning plane v n =v n (τ) in bismuth crystals owing to ion-cluster doping and oxidation of the irradiated surface. Irradiation was by 25 keV carbonions at a dose of 1017 ion/cm2. Twinning of the crystals took place under pulsed loading conditions with pulse durations of 10−5−10−4 s and stress amplitudes of (0.2–2.0)×103 g/mm3. Carbon ion bombardment of single-crystal bismuth causes a shift in the v n =v n (τ) curve toward lower stresses. An oxide film slows down the motion of twinning dislocations. Zh. Tekh. We examine the properties of an atomic system consisting of a muon and antimuon. Expressions are derived for the probability of decay and the hyperfine splitting of the lower levels with allowance for the leading radiative corrections, which are of relative order α. The results for the lifetimes and the ground-state energy are τ(13 S 1)=1.7907(8)×10−12 s, τ(11 S 0)=0.59547(33)×10−12 s, and E hfs (1s)=4.23284(35)×107 MHz. The relative probabilities for the various decay channels are calculated; in particular, for the 1 3 S 1 level it is found that Γ (μμeeγ)/Γ(μμee)≈15%. Finally, possible applications are discussed. High-spin states in 181Ta have been studied via the 176Yb(11B,α2n) reaction at 52 MeV using the PEX array and at 57 MeV using the NORDBALL array, with α-particle detection. The previously known, Kπ=(7/2)+ ground state band and Kπ=(9/2) band have been extended to spins (29/2)+ and (31/2), respectively. Two new one-quasiparticle bands, the Kπ=(5/2)+ band built on the known (5/2)+ isomer and a Kπ=((1/2)) band have been observed. Two other rotational bands with three-quasiparticle structure, Kπ=(15/2) and ((19/2)+ with π(7/2)[404]ν2(1/2)[510](9/2)[624] and π(9/2)[514]ν2(1/2)[510](9/2)[624] configurations, respectively, have been newly observed. The half-life of the Kπ=((19/2)+) bandhead which decays to the head of the (15/2) band has been measured to be 140(36) ns. We report on the measurement of lifetimes and magnetic moments of yrast states in136Nd. Lifetimes in the 5–100 ps range were measured via the recoil distance Doppler shift method applied to the110Pd(30Si, 4n) reaction at 121 MeV beam energy. Magnetic moments were deduced from the integral Larmor precessions measured after recoil implantation into a magnetized nickel foil (IMPAC), via the76Ge(64Ni, 4n) reaction. The measured g factors g(12+)=g(10+)= +1.03(24) clearly indicate h11/2 proton alignment.  相似文献

The spectral dependence of the electron-phonon relaxation rate γe−ph(ℏω) in metals is studied in pump-supercontinuum-probe (PSCP) experiments with femtosecond time resolution. Investigation of this spectral dependence, which exhibits a substantial slowing of the relaxation rate γe−ph(ℏω) near the Fermi level E F , using the parametrization γe−ph(ℏω)∝λ〈Ω2〉 (ℏω−E F )2 makes it possible to determine directly the electron-phonon interaction parameter λ〈Ω2〉. CP-violating rate asymmetry can be generated in a process only if its amplitude possesses an absorptive part. It is pointed out that such an absorptive part can be provided ine + e annihilation by the presence of aZ(Z′) resonance of non-zero width. The CP asymmetry in the process , wherel i are charged leptons, is discussed in several models. In a specific two-Z model, large and observable CP asymmetry ine + e τ + e (τ e +) is shown to be possible at LEP/SLC energies.  相似文献

Films of hexanoyl chitosan-based polymer electrolyte were prepared by the technique of solution casting. The effect of plasticizer on the transport properties of hexanoyl chitosan:lithium trifluoromethanesulfonate (LiCF3SO3) electrolytes have been investigated. The plasticizer used was ethylene carbonate (EC). The highest room temperature conductivity achieved in the EC-plasticized hexanoyl chitosan-based electrolytes is 2.75×10−5 S cm−1. The Rice and Roth model was used to explain the variations in the dc conductivity observed. The exponent, s, in Jonscher’s universal power law equation σ(ω)=σ dc+ s , was analyzed as a function of temperature for the sample containing 30 wt% of EC. The analysis suggests that the conduction mechanism follows that proposed by the overlapping large polaron tunneling model.  相似文献

Using heuristic arguments based on the trace formulas we relate the 2-point correlation form factor, K 2(τ), at small values of τ with sums over classical periodic orbits for typical examples of pseudo-integrable systems. The later sums have been explicitly calculated for the following models: (i) plane billiards in the form of right triangles with one angle π/n and (ii) rectangular billiards with the Aharonov-Bohm flux line. In the first model, using the properties of the Veech structure, it is shown that K 2(0)=(n+ε(n))/(3(n−2)), where ε(n)= 0 for odd n, ε(n)= 2 for even n not divisible by 3, and ε(n)=6 for even n divisible by 3. For completeness we also recall informally the main features of the Veech construction. In the second model the answer depends on arithmetical properties of ratios of flux line coordinates to the corresponding sides of the rectangle. When these ratios are non-commensurable irrational numbers, K 2(0)=1−3 , where is the fractional part of the flux through the rectangle when and it is symmetric with respect to the line when . The comparison of these results with numerical calculations of the form factor is discussed in detail. The above values of K 2(0) differ from all known examples of spectral statistics, thus confirming analytically the peculiarities of statistical properties of the energy levels in pseudo-integrable systems. In this paper, we consider generalized holographic and Ricci dark energy models where the energy densities are given as ρ R =3c 2 M pl2 Rf(H 2/R) and ρ h =3c 2 M pl2 H 2 g(R/H 2), respectively; here f(x), g(y) are positive defined functions of the dimensionless variables H 2/R or R/H 2. It is interesting that holographic and Ricci dark energy densities are recovered or recovered interchangeably when the function f(x)=g(y)≡1 or f(x)=Id and g(y)=Id are taken, respectively (for example f(x),g(x)=1−ε(1−x), ε=0or1, respectively). Also, when f(x)≡xg(1/x) is taken, the Ricci and holographic dark energy models are equivalent to a generalized one. When the simple forms f(x)=1−ε(1−x) and g(y)=1−η(1−y) are taken as examples, by using current cosmic observational data, generalized dark energy models are considered. As expected, in these cases, the results show that they are equivalent (ε=1−η=1.312), and Ricci-like dark energy is more favored relative to the holographic one where the Hubble horizon was taken as an IR cut-off. And the suggested combination of holographic and Ricci dark energy components would be 1.312R−0.312H 2, which is 2.312H2+1.312[(H)\dot]2.312H^{2}+1.312\dot{H} in terms of H 2 and [(H)\dot]\dot{H} .  相似文献

β-γ-γ directional correlation studies for the cascades (i)β-rays ofE max=0.12 MeV,γ-rays of 557 keV andγ-rays of 53 keV and (ii)β-rays ofE max=0.21 MeV,γ-rays of 444 keV andγ-rays of 53 keV have been made. The triple correlation functionsW(θ) were obtained to beW(θ)=1+(−0.153±0.031)P 2(cosθ)+(0.004±0.035)P 4(cosθ) forβ-rays ofE max 0.12 MeV→557→53 keV cascade andW(θ)=1+(0.163±0.042)P 2(cosθ)+(−0.035±0.058)P 4(cosθ) forβ rays ofE max=0.21 MeV→444 keV→53 keV cascade. Spins and parities of the 650, 537 and 93 keV levels of103Rh are deduced by triple angular correlation and the internal conversion coefficient studies.
