Methods are reported for the preparation of mixed-carboxylate versions of the [Mn(12)O(12)(O(2)CR)(16)(H(2)O)(4)] family of single-molecule magnets (SMMs). [Mn(12)O(12)(O(2)CCHCl(2))(8)(O(2)CCH(2)Bu(t))(8)(H(2)O)(3)] (5) and [Mn(12)O(12)(O(2)CHCl(2))(8)(O(2)CEt)(8)(H(2)O)(3)] (6) have been obtained from the 1:1 reaction of the corresponding homocarboxylate species. Complex 5.CH(2)Cl(2).H(2)O crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with, at -165 degrees C, a = 15.762(1), b = 16.246(1), c = 23.822(1) A, alpha = 103.92(1), beta = 104.50(1), gamma = 94.23(1) degrees, Z = 2, and V = 5674(2) A(3). Complex 6.CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with, at -158 degrees C, a = 13.4635(3), b = 13.5162(3), c = 23.2609(5) A, alpha = 84.9796(6), beta = 89.0063(8), gamma = 86.2375(6) degrees, Z = 2, and V = 4207.3(3) A(3). Complexes 5 and 6 both contain a [Mn(12)O(12)] core with the CHCl(2)CO(2-) ligands ordered in the axial positions and the RCO(2-) ligands (R = CH(2)Bu(t) (5) or Et (6)) in equatorial positions. There is, thus, a preference for the CHCl(2)CO(2-) to occupy the sites lying on the Mn(III) Jahn-Teller axes, and this is rationalized on the basis of the relative basicities of the carboxylate groups. Direct current magnetic susceptibility studies in a 10.0 kG field in the 2.00-300 K range indicate a large ground-state spin, and fitting of magnetization data collected in the 10.0-70.0 kG field and 1.80-4.00 K temperature range gave S = 10, g = 1.89, and D = -0.65 K for 5, and S = 10, g = 1.83, and D = -0.60 K for 6. These values are typical of [Mn(12)O(12)(O(2)CR)(16)(H(2)O)(4)] complexes. Alternating current susceptibility studies show the out-of-phase susceptibility (chi(M)' ') signals characteristic of the slow relaxation in the millisecond time scale of single-molecule magnets. Arrhenius plots obtained from chi(M)' ' versus T data gave effective barriers to relaxation (U(eff)) of 71 and 72 K for 5 and 6, respectively. (1)H NMR spectra in CD(2)Cl(2) show that 5 and 6 are the main species present on dissolution, but there is evidence for some ligand distribution between axial and equatorial sites, by intra- and/or intermolecular exchange processes.  相似文献

A series of zirconium and hafnium heteroscorpionate complexes have been prepared by the reaction of MCl4 (M = Zr, Hf) with the compounds [[Li(bdmpza)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], [[Li(bdmpzdta)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], and (Hbdmpze) [bdmpze = 2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethoxide] (the latter with the prior addition of Bu(n)Li). Under the appropriate experimental conditions, mononuclear complexes, namely, [MCl3(kappa3-bdmpzx)] [x = a, M = Zr (1), Hf (2); x = dta, M = Zr (3), Hf (4); x = e, M = Zr (5), Hf (6)], and dinuclear complexes, namely, [[MCl2(mu-OH)(kappa3-bdmpzx)]2] [x = a, M = Zr (7), Hf (8); x = dta, M = Zr (9); x = e, M = Zr (10)], were isolated. A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of the general formula [ZrCl2(kappa3-bdmpzx)(OR)] [x = a, R = Me (11), Et (12), iPr (13), tBu (14); x = dta, R = Me (15), Et (16), iPr (17), tBu (18); x = e, R = Me (19), Et (20), (i)Pr (21), (t)Bu (22)] was also prepared. Complexes 11-14 underwent an interesting hydrolysis process to give the cluster complex [Zr6(mu3-OH)8(OH)8(kappa2-bdmpza)8] (23). The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and the X-ray crystal structures of 7, 8, and 23 were also established.  相似文献

Several single-molecule magnets with the composition [Mn12O12(O2CR)16(H2O)x] (x = 3 or 4) exhibit two out-of-phase ac magnetic susceptibility signals, one in the 4-7 K region and the other in the 2-3 K region. New Mn12 complexes were prepared and structurally characterized, and the origin of the two magnetization relaxation processes was systematically examined. Different crystallographic forms of a Mn12 complex with a given R substituent exist where the two forms have different compositions of solvent molecules of crystallization and this results in two different arrangements of bound H2O and carboxylate ligands for the two crystallographically different forms with the same R substituent. The X-ray structure of cubic crystals of [Mn12O12(O2CEt)16(H2O)3]. 4H2O (space group P1) (complex 2a) has been reported previously. The more prevalent needle-form of [Mn12O12(O2CEt)16(H2O)3] (complex 2b) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, which at -170 degrees C has a = 16.462(7) A, b = 22.401(9) A, c = 20.766(9) A, beta = 103.85(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The arrangements of H2O and carboxylate ligands on the Mn12 molecule are different in the two crystal forms. The complex [Mn12O12-(O2)CC6H4-p-Cl)16(H2O)4].8CH2Cl2 (5) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, which at -172 degrees C has a = 29.697(9) A, b = 17.708(4) A, c = 30.204(8) A, beta = 102.12(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The ac susceptibility data for complex 5 show that it has out-of-phase signals in both the 2-3 K and the 4-7 K ranges. X-ray structures are also reported for two isomeric forms of the p-methylbenzoate complex. [Mn12O12(O2CC6H4-p-Me)16(H2O)4]. (HO2CC6H4-p-Me) (6) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, which at 193 K has a = 40.4589(5) A, b = 18.2288(2) A, c = 26.5882(4) A, beta = 125.8359(2) degrees, and Z = 4. [Mn12O12(O2CC6H4-p-Me)16(H2O)4].3(H2O) (7) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group I2/a, which at 223 K has a = 29.2794(4) A, b = 32.2371(4) A, c = 29.8738(6) A, beta = 99.2650(10) degrees, and Z = 8. The Mn12 molecules in complexes 6 and 7 differ in their arrangements of the four bound H2O ligands. Complex 6 exhibits an out-of-phase ac peak (chi(M)' ') in the 2-3 K region, whereas the hydrate complex 7 has a chi(M)' ' signal in the 4-7 K region. In addition, however, in complex 6, one Mn(III) ion has an abnormal Jahn-Teller distortion axis oriented at an oxide ion, and thus 6 and 7 are Jahn-Teller isomers. This reduces the symmetry of the core of complex 6 compared with complex 7. Thus, complex 6 likely has a larger tunneling matrix element and this explains why this complex shows a chi(M)' ' signal in the 2-3 K region, whereas complex 7 has its chi(M)' ' peak in the 4-7 K region, i.e., the rate of tunneling of magnetization is greater in complex 6 than complex 7. Detailed 1H NMR experiments (2-D COSY and TOCSY) lead to the assignment of all proton resonances for the benzoate and p-methyl-benzoate Mn12 complexes and confirm the structural integrity of the (Mn12O12) complexes upon dissolution. In solution there is rapid ligand exchange and no evidence for the different isomeric forms of Mn12 complexes seen in the solid state.  相似文献

The octanuclear aggregates M(8)(mu(4)-O)(2)(O(2)CN(i)()Pr(2))(12) [M = Mn(II) 1, Co(II) 2, Ni(II) 3] have been prepared in good yields by controlled hydrolysis of the corresponding metal carbamate precursors [M(O(2)CN(i)()Pr(2))(2)](n)(). X-ray analysis has shown compounds 1-3 to be isostructural. The core of 2 contains two distorted [M(4)O] tetrahedra related by an inversion center. The hexanuclear carbamates M(6)(O(2)CNEt(2))(12) in toluene undergo a metal redistribution process with formation of the hexanuclear carbamates M'(x)M' '(6-x)(O(2)CNEt(2))(12), M' = Co, M' ' = Mn, as evidenced by mass-spectrometric data. In the presence of moisture, the mixed octanuclear carbamates Co(x)Mn(6-x)(MnO)(CoO)(O(2)CNEt(2))(12) were promptly formed and detected by DCI/MS measurements. Mass spectral data of Co(8)(mu(4)-O)(2)(O(2)CN(i)Pr(2))(12) are also reported.  相似文献

In contrast to the neutral macrocycle [UN*(2)(N,C)] (1) [N* = N(SiMe(3))(3); N,C = CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] which was quite inert toward I(2), the anionic bismetallacycle [NaUN*(N,C)(2)] (2) was readily transformed into the enlarged monometallacycle [UN*(N,N)I] (4) [N,N = (Me(3)Si)NSiMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] resulting from C-C coupling of the two CH(2) groups, and [NaUN*(N,O)(2)] (3) [N,O = OC(═CH(2))SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))], which is devoid of any U-C bond, was oxidized into the U(V) bismetallacycle [Na{UN*(N,O)(2)}(2)(μ-I)] (5). Sodium amalgam reduction of 4 gave the U(III) compound [UN*(N,N)] (6). Addition of MN(3) or MCN to the (N,C), (N,N), and (N,O) metallacycles 1, 4, and 5 led to the formation of the anionic azide or cyanide derivatives M[UN*(2)(N,C)(N(3))] [M = Na, 7a or Na(15-crown-5), 7b], M[UN*(2)(N,C)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 8a or Na(15-crown-5), 8b or K(18-crown-6), 8c], M[UN*(N,N)(N(3))(2)] [M = Na, 9a or Na(THF)(4), 9b], [NEt(4)][UN*(N,N)(CN)(2)] (10), M[UN*(N,O)(2)(N(3))] [M = Na, 11a or Na(15-crown-5), 11b], M[UN*(N,O)(2)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 12a or Na(15-crown-5), 12b]. In the presence of excess iodine in THF, the cyanide 12a was converted back into the iodide 5, while the azide 11a was transformed into the neutral U(V) complex [U(N{SiMe(3)}SiMe(2)C{CHI}O)(2)I(THF)] (13). The X-ray crystal structures of 4, 7b, 8a-c, 9b, 10, 12b, and 13 were determined.  相似文献

The reactions of the spirocyclic phosphazene [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 Cl 2 ] (O 2 C 12 H 8 = 2,2'-dioxybiphenyl) with the thiophenols HS--C 6 H 4 --R and M 2 CO 3 (M = K or Cs) in refluxing acetone gave respectively the spirocyclic substituted derivatives [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 (SC 6 H 4 --R) 2 ] R = H ( 2a ), Br ( 2b ), OMe ( 2c ), NO 2 ( 2d ). The reaction is a two-step process the second of which is much faster than the first and the monosubstituted intermediate [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 (SC 6 H 4 --R)Cl] cannot be detected. By contrast, in the analogous reactions with the phenols HO--C 6 H 4 --R and M 2 CO 3 (M = K or Cs) in acetone or THF, to give the known derivatives [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 (OC 6 H 4 --R) 2 ], the first step is faster although both are very dependent on R, M and the solvent. Thus, in the case of the phenol HO--C 6 H 4 --OMe the reaction conditions could be adjusted to give the useful synthetic intermediate monosubstituted derivative [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 (OC 6 H 4 --OMe)Cl] ( 3 ). The reaction of [N 3 P 3 (O 2 C 12 H 8 ) 2 Cl 2 ] with the bifunctional reagent mercaptophenol HS--C 6 H 4 --OH was not specific and led to mixtures of cyclic and oligomeric products.  相似文献

We report here the synthesis and crystal and electronic structures of the Na(2)(Sc(4)Nb(2))(Nb(6)O(12))(3) niobium oxide whose structure is related to that of Ti(2)Nb(6)O(12). It constitutes a new member of the larger A(n)()BM(6)L(12)(Z) families (A = monovalent cation located in tetrahedral cavities of units, B = monovalent or trivalent cations located in octahedral cavities of units, M = rare earth, Zr, or Nb, Z = interstitial except for M = Nb). The structural relationships between the A(n)BM(6)L(12)(Z) series (M(6)L(i)(12)L(a)(6) unit-based compounds with a M(6)L(i)(6)L(i-a)(6/2)L(a-i)(6/2) cluster framework) and Chevrel Phases (M(6)L(i)(8)L(a)(6) unit-based compounds with a M(6)L(i)(2)L(i-a)(6/2)L(a-i)(6/2) cluster framework) are shown in terms of M(6)L(18) and M(6)L(14) unit packing. Despite a topology similar to that encountered in Chevrel Phases, intercalation properties are not expected in the Nb(6)O(i)(6)O(i-a)(6/2)O(a-i)(6/2) cluster framework-based compounds. Finally, it is shown, from theoretical LMTO calculations, that a semiconducting behavior is expected for a maximum VEC of 14 in the Nb(6)O(i)(6)O(i-a)(6/2)O(a-i)(6/2) cluster framework.  相似文献

18-Crown[6] ether has been used to prepare a new class of organic-inorganic complexes of general formula 18-crown[6]M[HSO(4)](n) (where M = NH(4) (+), K(+), Sr(2+) and n = 1, 2) by reacting directly in solution or in the solid state the crown ether 18-crown[6] with inorganic salts such as [NH(4)][HSO(4)], K[HSO(4)], and Sr[HSO(4)](2). The structures of 18-crown[6][NH(4)][HSO(4)]2 H(2)O (12 H(2)O), 18-crown[6][NH(4)][HSO(4)] (1), 18-crown[6]K[HSO(4)]2 H(2)O (22 H(2)O), 18-crown[6]K[HSO(4)] (2), and 18-crown[6]Sr[HSO(4)](2) (3) have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reversible water loss in compounds 12 H(2)O and 22 H(2)O leads to formation of the corresponding anhydrous phases 18-crown[6][NH(4)][HSO(4)] (1), and 18-crown[6]K[HSO(4)] (2), which undergo, on further heating, enantiotropic solid-solid transitions very likely associated with the on-set of a solid state dynamical process. Similar high-temperature behavior is shown by 18-crown[6]Sr[HSO(4)](2) (3). The dehydration and phase-transition processes have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and variable temperature X-ray powder diffraction.  相似文献

Pentacarbonyl-7H-indenediiron, [Fe2(CO)5(eta3,eta5-C9H8)] (1), reacts with aryllithium, ArLi (Ar = C6H5, p-C6H5C6H4), followed by alkylation with Et3OBF4 to give novel 7H-indene-coordinated diiron bridging alkoxycarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(OC2H5)Ar}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (2, Ar = C6H5; 3, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Complexes 2 and 3 react with HBF4.Et2O at low temperature to yield cationic bridging carbyne complexes [Fe2(mu-CAr)(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)]BF4 (4, Ar = C6H5; 5, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Cationic 4 and 5 react with NaBH4 in THF at low temperature to afford diiron bridging arylcarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(H)Ar}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (6, Ar = C6H5; 7, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). The similar reactions of 4 and 5 with NaSC6H4CH3-p produce the bridging arylthiocarbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(Ar)SC6H4CH3-p}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (8, Ar = C6H5; 9, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4). Cationic 4 and 5 can also react with anionic carbonylmetal compounds Na[M(CO)5(CN)] (M = Cr, Mo, W) to give the diiron bridging aryl(pentacarbonylcyanometal)carbene complexes [Fe2{mu-C(Ar)NCM(CO)5}(CO)4(eta4,eta4-C9H8)] (10, Ar = C6H5, M = Cr; 11, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Cr; 12, Ar = C6H5, M = Mo; 13, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Mo; 14, Ar = C6H5, M = W; 15, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = W). Interestingly, in CH2Cl2 solution at room temperature complexes 10-15 were transformed into the isomerized 7H-indene-coordinated monoiron complexes [Fe(CO)2(eta5-C9H8)C(Ar)NCM(CO)5] (16, Ar = C6H5, M = Cr; 17, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Cr; 18, Ar = C6H5, M = Mo; 19, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = Mo; 20, Ar = C6H5, M = W; 21, Ar = p-C6H5C6H4, M = W), while complex 3 was converted into a novel ring addition product [Fe2{C(OC2H5)C6H4C6H5-p-(eta2,eta5-C9H8)}(CO)5] (22) under the same conditions. The structures of complexes 2, 6, 8, 14, 18 and 22 have been established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Rare-earth metal alkyl tri(tert-butoxy)silanolate complexes [Ln{mu,eta2-OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)2]2 (Ln = Y (1), Tb (2), Lu (3)) were prepared via protonolysis of the appropriate tris(alkyl) complex [Ln(CH2SiMe3)3(thf)2] with tri(tert-butoxy)silanol in pentane. Crystal structure analysis revealed a dinuclear structure for with square pyramidal geometry at the yttrium centre. The silanolate ligand coordinates in an eta2-bridging coordination mode giving a 4-rung truncated ladder and non-crystallographic inversion centre. Addition of two equiv. of 12-crown-4 to a pentane solution of 1 or 3 respectively gave [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)(3)}(CH2SiMe3)2(12-crown-4)].12-crown-4 (Ln = Y (4), Lu (5)). Crystal structure analysis of 5 showed a slightly distorted octahedral geometry at the lutetium centre. The silanolate ligand adopts an eta(1)-terminal coordination mode, whilst the crown ether unit coordinates in an unusual kappa3-fashion. Reaction of 1-3 with [NEt3H]+[BPh4]- in thf yielded the cationic derivatives [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(thf)4]+[BPh4]- (Ln = Y (6), Tb (7) and Lu (8)); coordination of crown ether led to compounds of the form [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(L)(thf)n]+[BPh4]- (Ln = Y, Lu, L = 12-crown-4, n = 1 (9,10); Ln = Y, Lu, L = 15-crown-5, n = 0 (11,12)). Reaction of 1 with [NMe2PhH]+[B(C6F5)4]-, [Al(CH2SiMe3)3] or BPh3 in thf gave the ion pairs [Y{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(thf)4]+[A]- ([A]- = [B(C6F5)4]- (13), [Al(CH2SiMe3)4]- (14), [BPh3(CH2SiMe3)]- (15)), whilst two equiv. [NMe2PhH]+[BPh4]- with 1 in thf produced the dicationic ion triple [Y{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(thf)6]2+[BPh4]-2 (16). Crystal structure analysis revealed that 16 is mononuclear with pentagonal bipyramidal geometry at the yttrium centre. The silanolate ligand coordinates in an eta(1)-terminal fashion. All diamagnetic compounds have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy. 1, 3, 4, 6 and 13 were tested as olefin hydrosilylation pre-catalysts with a variety of substrates; 1 was found to be highly active in 1-decene hydrosilylation.  相似文献

2-(2H-Tetrazol-5-yl)-1,10-phenanthroline (HL0), its alkyl-substituted derivatives (Ln, where n = 1-8, 10, 12, 14, and 16, denoting the carbon atom number of the alkyl chain) at the 2H position of the tetrazole ring, and their iron(II) complexes (a for [Fe(L0)2], na for [Fe(Ln)2](ClO4)2, and nb for [Fe(Ln)2](BF4)2) were synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of a, a.CH3OH, 1a.CH3OH, 1b.CH3OH.CH3CN, 2a.H2O, 2b.H2O, 4b.CH3OH, 5a.H2O, 5b.H2O, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, and 16a are described, along with thermal analyses. a undergoes an abrupt spin crossover (SCO) at 255 K with a hysteresis loop of 6 K. a.CH3OH, 2a.H2O, and 2b.H2O exhibit irreversible SCO behaviors due to the loss of solvent molecules upon heating. 3a, 3b, 4a, and 5a.H2O show simple spin transitions above 350 K. The desolvated samples of 4b.CH3OH and 5b.H2O undergo two-step spin transitions. 16a exhibits a two-step SCO behavior between 100 and 300 K, corresponding to sequential phase transitions from the low-spin (LS) phase to the intermediate phase and then to the high-spin phase, respectively, proved by crystal structure analysis and 57Fe M?ssbauer spectroscopy. 1a.CH3OH, 10a, 10b, 12a, 12b, 14a, 14b, and 16b show gradual and incomplete SCO behaviors after cooling down from 400 K. 1b.CH3OH.CH3CN, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, 8a, and 8b remain in the LS state even at 400 K. This proves that the alkyl side chains, together with the solvent molecules and anions, play a crucial role in the complicated SCO behaviors in this system.  相似文献

The stoichiometric treatment of 2,6-dibenzylphenol (HOdbp) or 2,2"-dimethoxy-2,6-dibenzylphenol (HOdbpOMe) with n-butyllithium or sodium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (the latter as a solution in THF) in Et2O or DME affords the dimeric alkali metal phenolates [{M(Odbp)(L)}2] (M = Li; L = Et2O (1), L = DME (2), M = Na; L = Et2O (5), L = DME (6)), [{Li(OdbpOMe)}2] (3) and [{M(OdbpOMe)(L)}2] (M = Li; L = DME (4), M = Na; L = THF (7), L = DME (8)). Complexes 3 and 7 exhibit -OdbpOMe methoxy coordination and all four sodium complexes (5-8) display pi-aryl contacts from one phenolate radial arm to each sodium centre. The attempted synthesis of {Na(odbp)}n by direct sodiation of HOdbp yields a small quantity of the 2-benzylphenolate [{Na(Ombp)(DME)}4] (9) (-Ombp = -OC6H4-2-CH2Ph), providing a rare example of benzyl C-C bond scission.  相似文献

Mixed-ligand hydrazine complexes [M(CO)(RNHNH2)P4](BPh4)2 (1, 2) [M = Ru, Os; R = H, CH3, C6H5; P = P(OEt)3] with carbonyl and triethyl phosphite were prepared by allowing hydride [MH(CO)P4]BPh4 species to react first with HBF4.Et2O and then with hydrazines. Depending on the nature of the hydrazine ligand, the oxidation of [M(CO)(RNHNH2)P4](BPh4)2 derivatives with Pb(OAc)4 at -30 C gives acetate [M(kappa1-OCOCH3)(CO)P4]BPh4 (3a), phenyldiazene [M(CO)(C6H5N=NH)P4](BPh4)2 (3c, 4c), and methyldiazene [M(CO)(CH3N=NH)P4](BPh4)2 (3b, 4b) derivatives. Methyldiazene complexes 3b and 4b undergo base-catalyzed tautomerization of the CH3N=NH ligand to formaldehyde-hydrazone NH2N=CH2, giving the [M(CO)(NH2N=CH2)P4](BPh4)2 (5, 6) derivatives. Complexes 5 and 6 were characterized spectroscopically and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of the [Ru(CO)(NH2N=CH2)[P(OEt)3]4](BPh4)2 (5) derivative. Acetone-hydrazone [M(CO)[NH2N=C(CH3)2]P4](BPh4)2 (7, 8) complexes were also prepared by allowing hydrazine [M(CO)(NH2NH2)P4](BPh4)2 derivatives to react with acetone.  相似文献

A series of new metal (M) dithiolene complexes bearing terthiophene (3, 12, M = Ni; 4, M = Pd; 5, 6, M = Au) and 2,5-bis(para-methoxyphenyl)thiophene units (14, M = Ni; 15, 16, M = Au; 17, M = Pd) have been synthesised in 38-99% yield. The electrochemical properties of the materials have been characterised by cyclic voltammetry and UV-vis spectroelectrochemistry. The nickel complexes possess low oxidation potentials (-0.12 to -0.25 V vs Ag/AgCl) due to the electron-rich dithiolene centres and all complexes display ligand-based redox activity. The terthiophene derivatives have been polymerised by electrochemical oxidation to give stable films with, in the case of poly(3), broad absorption characteristics. Charge transfer materials have been isolated from 14 and 16 with conductivities in the range 9 x 10(-6) to 7 x 10(-8) S cm(-1).  相似文献

The reaction of phenylphosphonic acid (PhPO(3)H(2)) with the mixed-valent basic oxo-centered manganese triangle [Mn(3)O(O(2)CCMe(3))(6)(py)(3)] (1; where py=pyridine) in the presence of a suitable base gives four different manganese clusters depending on the identity of the base. The syntheses and structural characterization of [Mn(18)(mu(3)-O)(8)(PhPO(3))(14)(O(2)CCMe(3))(12)(py)(6)(H(2)O)(2)] (2), [Mn(7)(mu(3)-O)(3)(O(3)PPh)(3)(O(2)CCMe(3))(8)(py)(3)] (3), [Mn(9)Na(mu(3)-O)(4)(mu(4)-O)(2)(O(3)PPh)(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(12)(H(2)O)(2)(H(2)O)(0.67)(Py)(0.33)] (4), and [Mn(13)(mu(3)-O)(8)(OMe)(8)(O(3)PPh)(4)(O(2)CCMe(3))(10)] (5) are described. Complexes 4 and 5 are homovalent Mn(III) cages, while 2 and 3 contain divalent, trivalent, and/or tetravalent ions. All the manganese centers are valence-localized, the octahedral Mn(III) sites being recognizable by marked Jahn-Teller distortions. The magnetic properties of compounds 2-5 have been investigated in the polycrystalline state by magnetic susceptibility and high-field magnetization measurements, which reveal that spin ground states vary from 0< or =S > or =8. AC susceptibility measurements performed on 4 and 5, in the 1.6-10.0 K ranges show the presence of out of AC susceptibility signal (chi(M)') for 4, and an effective energy barrier (U(eff)) for the re-orientation of the magnetization is found to be 17 K, but for 5, the chi(M)' maximum is found to be below 1.5 K.  相似文献

The hexaazamacrocycle 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaazacyclooctadecane, [18]ane-N6, forms mono- and dinuclear derivatives with copper chloride depending on the reaction stoichiometries and times. The mononuclear derivative, [Cu([18]ane-N6)]Cl2.H2O, presents the macrocycle wrapped around the metal atom in a distorted octahedral coordinative environment, while the dinuclear derivative, [Cu2([18]ane-N6)Cl2]Cl2.4H2O, is formed by a central Cu2Cl2 core surrounded by an almost planar macrocycle. The crystal structure of both derivatives is stabilized by a network of hydrogen bonds involving the amine macrocyclic groups, the chloride anions, and the crystallization water molecules. The copper atoms in the dinuclear derivative show a strong antiferromagnetic coupling, as expected for the crystal structure parameters. A mononuclear nickel derivative has also been obtained from nickel nitrate by following the same synthetic procedure. These compounds react with TCNQ salts with formation of two types of derivatives, [M([18]ane-N6)](TCNQ)2 and [M([18]ane-N6)](TCNQ)4, depending on the use of radical-anionic or mixed-valence TCNQ salts in the reaction. The crystal structures of the nickel derivatives show that the former derivatives are built up by macrocyclic metal cations surrounded by dimeric dianions (TCNQ)22-, either isolated or stacked along the crystal. The derivative with four TCNQ units/formula consists of alternated chains of metallomacrocyclic cations and stacked TCNQ anions. The crystal parameters suggest that every TCNQ holds approximately 0.5 electrons and overlaps with a neighboring unit to form dimeric monoanions, (TCNQ)2-.  相似文献

Three novel polyoxometalate derivatives decorated by transition metal complexes have been hydrothermally synthesized. Compound 1 consists of [PMo(VI)(6)Mo(V)(2)V(IV)(8)O(44)[Co (2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](4)](3+) polyoxocations and [PMo(VI)(4-)Mo(V)(4)V(IV)(8)O(44)[Co(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](2)](3-) polyoxoanions, which are both built on mixed-metal tetracapped [PMo(8)V(8)O(44)] subunits covalently bonded to four or two [Co(2,2'-bpy)(2)(H(2)O)](2+) clusters via terminal oxo groups of the capping V atoms. Compound 2 is built on [PMo(VI)(8)V(IV)(6)O(42)[Cu(I)(phen)](2)](5-) clusters constructed from mixed-metal bicapped [PMo(VI)(8)V(IV)(6)O(42)](7-) subunits covalently bonded to two [Cu(phen)](+) fragments in the similar way to 1. The structure of 3 is composed of [PMo(VI)(9)Mo(V)(3)O(40)](6-) units capped by two divalent Ni atoms via four bridging oxo groups. The crystal data for these are the following: C(120)H(126)Co(6)Mo(16)N(24)O(103)P(2)V(16) (1), triclinic P1, a = 15.6727(2) A, b = 17.3155(3) A, c = 19.5445(2) A, alpha = 86.1520(1) degrees, beta = 81.2010(1) degrees, gamma = 63.5970(1) degrees, Z = 1; C(120)H(85)Cu(6-)Mo(8)N(20)O(44)PV(6) (2), triclinic P1, a = 14.565(4) A, b = 15.899(3) A, c = 16.246(4) A, alpha = 116.289(2) degrees, beta = 103.084(2) degrees, gamma = 94.796(2) degrees, Z = 1; C(60)H(40)Mo(12)N(10)Ni(3)O(40)P (3), monoclinic P2(1)/c, a = 14.804(3) A, b = 22.137(4) A, c = 25.162(5) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 98.59(3) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

The reaction of phosphanido complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(PPh(2))] [L = CO (1), CNXylyl (2)] with early transition metal halides in high oxidation states has been carried out. New bimetallic niobocene complexes [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(5))] [M = Nb, L = CO (3), L = CNXylyl (4); M = Ta, L = CO (5), L = CNXylyl (6)] have been successfully synthesized by the reaction with [MCl(5)](2) (M = Nb or Ta). In a similar way [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(4))] [M = Ti, L = CO (13), CNXylyl (14); M = Zr, L = CO (15), CNXylyl (16)] were synthesized using MCl(4) (M = Ti or Zr). Solutions of complexes 4-6 in chloroform produced new ionic derivatives [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(H)Ph(2))(L)] [MCl(6)] [M = Nb, L = CO (7), L = CNXylyl (8); M = Ta, L = CO (9), L = CNXylyl (10)]. Ionic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(Cl)Ph(2))(L)] [NbCl(4)O(thf)] [L = CO (11), CNXylyl (12)] were formed from solutions in thf - rapidly in the case of 3 but more slowly for 4. New heterometallic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(μ-PPh(2)){(Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)}] [R = H, L = CO (17), CNXylyl (18); R = CH(3), L = CO (19), CNXylyl (20)] were synthesized by the reaction of 1 or 2 with [Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)] (R = H or CH(3)). All of these compounds were characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, and the molecular structures of 9 and 12 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Reactions of the antimicrobial fluoroquinolone ciprofloxacin (cfH) with metal salts in the presence of aromatic polycarboxylate ligands or under basic conditions produce fourteen new metal-cfH complexes, namely, [Ba2(cf)2(1,4-bdc)(H2O)2] x H2O (1), [Sr6(cf)6(1,4-bdc)3(H2O)6] x 2H2O (2), [M2(cfH)2(bptc)(H2O)2] x 8H2O (M = Mn3 and Cd4), [M(cfH)(1,3-bdc)] (M = Mn5, Co6, and Zn7), [Zn2(cfH)4(1,4-bdc)](1,4-bdc) x 13H2O (8), [Ca(cfH)2(1,2-Hbdc)2] x 2H2O (9) and [M(cf)2] x 2.5H2O (M = Mn10, Co11, Zn12, Cd13, and Mg14) (1,4-bdc = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate, bptc = 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylate, 1,3-bdc = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylate, 1,2-bdc = 1,2-benzenedicarboxylate). Their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses and further characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, and thermogravimetric analyses. The structures of 1 and 2 consist of unique two-dimensional arm-shaped layers. Compounds 3 and 4 are isostructural and feature one-dimensional structures formed from the interconnection of [M2(cfH)2(H2O)2] dimers with bptc ligands. Compounds 5-7 are isostructural and contain double-chain-like ribbons constructed from [M2(cfH)2(CO2)2] dimers and 1,3-bdc. Compound 8 consists of a pair of [Zn(cfH)2]2+ fragments bridged by a 1,4-bdc into a dinuclear dumbbell structure. Compound 9 is a neutral monomeric complex. To the best of our knowledge, compounds 1-9 are the first examples of metal-quinolone complexes that contain aromatic polycarboxylate ligands. Compounds 10-14 are isostructural and exhibit interesting two-dimensional rhombic grids featuring large cavities with dimensions of 13.6x13.6 A. Up to now, polymeric extended metal-cfH complexes have never been reported.  相似文献
