对于强耦合腔量子电动力学系统中以自由下落方式转移原子与腔模强耦合作用过程进行了实验研究,并在理论上利用蒙特卡罗方法对整个实验过程进行了模拟.根据模拟的高精度光学微腔实时记录的原子穿腔信号,获得了原子与腔模相互作用以及冷原子的参数等基本信息,包括不同初始条件下原子与腔模相互作用时腔的透射谱、单个原子在腔内的驻留时间、原子到达腔模时刻的概率分布以及原子到达腔模的动能分布等,并作为对比给出了相应的实验结果.基于模拟结果,实验上建立了腔内光学偶极阱来俘获单个原子,测量的单原子的腔内俘获寿命达到5 ms,比自由穿越时延长了约30倍.该研究对于原子-腔受限空间内,以自由下落方式转移原子以及原子与腔的耦合过程给出详细的分析,有助于对类似实验结果的分析和系统参数的优化. 相似文献

建立了超冷V型三能级原子注入的微脉塞的量子理论。首先推导出腔场约化密度算符随时间演化的主方程,并由此出发着重研究了微脉塞腔场的光谱性质。结果表明,与用超冷二能级原子或用热的二能级和三能级原子注入的微脉塞的光谱相比,用超冷V型三能级原子注入的微脉塞具有新的光谱性质,对某些腔长,线宽可被突然加宽,腔场也发生大的频移,不同的原子相干性甚至可以使腔场频率发生方向相反的频移。另一方面,原子质心动量对光谱也有影响,表现在线宽和频移随质心动量减小而减小。 相似文献

光学腔与原子强耦合系统是量子物理研究的基本系统,不但具有重要的物理意义,而且为量子信息、量子计算和量子精密测量中关键技术的产生和关键器件的研发提供了理想系统。强耦合腔与原子相互作用实验从20世纪90年代开始发展,经过多年的研究,在单原子与光学腔强耦合和原子系综与光学腔的耦合研究方面取得了重大进展。随着多原子阵列量子操控技术的进步,可控的多原子阵列与光学微腔强耦合系统近年来成为腔量子电动力学的重要研究方向。然而,目前实现确定性可控的多原子阵列与腔的强耦合仍面临巨大的技术挑战,可控原子数还停留在两个。简要回顾了近年来光频区强耦合腔量子电动力学系统在上述方面的主要实验进展和相应的实验方案,并展望了未来的发展。 相似文献

The theory of a one-atom maser, when the atoms enter the microresonator being excited to the upper maser level from its ground state by the bichromatic laser field resonant with the two adjacent optically allowed transitions with arbitrary angular momenta, is built. This theory is applied to the investigation of the polarization properties of a one-atom maser, i.e., the dependence of the maser field characteristics on the mutual orientations of the polarization vectors of the maser field mode and of the pump laser field. Although in standard micromaser experiments the collective events, in which two or more atoms are inside the resonator at one time, are very rare, they may cause dramatic effects nevertheless. We find in particular that the so-called “trapped vacuum state” (in which single atoms would undergo a complete Rabi cycle while traversing the cavity and emerge without having emitted a photon) is destroyed even when more than 99% of the atoms participate in one-atom events. 相似文献

The effect of thermal photons on the radiative properties of a one-atom maser is investigated. Stationary Pand Qdistribution functions are determined analytically in the approximation of strong interaction between an atom and a cavity field mode. The generation conditions are found for a one-atom maser. It is shown that taking into account thermal photons leads to a decrease in the threshold value of incoherent pumping. It is demonstrated that generation may occur in the absence of population inversion in the atomic subsystem and when losses exceed the intensity of incoherent pumping. A formula is proposed for the Fano factor of a one-atom maser in the form of the sum of the Fano factors of the microcavity radiation in the absence of thermal photons and the thermal radiation. 相似文献

The method of periodic trajectories is applied to the analysis of the phase states of a one-atom maser mode, information on which can be obtained from a series of consequent indirect phase-sensitive quantum measurements of atoms leaving the cavity. Such information allows one to study in detail the evolution of a maser mode in a stationary state. The evolution pattern is represented as a random sequence of subensembles in which the mode exists during different time intervals. An approximate stochastic recurrence relation is obtained, which allows us, using the Monte Carlo method, to generate a sequence of relative frequencies of detection of the states of a chosen basis in escaping atoms. Formulas for the phase probability density for subensembles of the mode are derived. These formulas are obtained using as initial data the average relative frequencies measured by an experimenter in a region of a stable trajectory. 相似文献

A semi-classical scheme is presented to solve the coupled-channel cavity QED (CQED) model. Such model exhibits remarkable characteristics as shown by numerical calculations. A relation between the swing or angular velocity of the detuning and the motion of the atoms is discussed. Cavity quantum electrodynamics (CQED) experiments realize the simplest matter–field system: a single atom coupled to a single field mode containing only a few photons.
