The formation of mixed-ligand complexes in the M(II)–Nta and Ida–L systems (M = Co, Zn; L = His, Orn, Lys, Gly, Im, en), where Ida and Nta are the residues of iminodiacetic and nitrilotriacetic acids, was studied by pH-metry, calorimetry, and NMR spectroscopy. The thermodynamic parameters (logK, Δ r G0, Δ r H, Δ r S) of formation for these complexes were determined at 298.15 K and an ionic strength I = 0.5 (KNO3). The most probable pattern of coordination between a complexone and an amino acid in mixed-ligand complexes was revealed. 相似文献

Abstract The preferential complexing tendency of different nietal ions towards chelating agents anchored on a polymer has been used for separation of transition metals. the anthranilic acid group was anchored on the polymeric cellulose back-bone by successive coupling with trifunctional reagent cyanuric chloride, in diozane medium, at pH 7 and 9–10, respectively. New [ML(H2O)2] complexes (M = Co2+, Ni2+, or Cu2+; H2L = diphenylthiocarbazide) were synthesized and studied using IR and diffuse reflection electronic spectroscopy, magnetic chemistry, conductometry, and DTA. * calculations of the electronic structures of 5-R-tetrazolate anions show that the ability of azoles for formation of polymeric complexes with transition metal ions is mostly determined by the acid-base properties of azoles. The geometric structure of a polymeric chain with the Co2+ ion having the coordination number 6 and the 5-methyltetrazolate anion being a bridging ligand was examined at the STO-3G level. The complexes isolated are of 1:1 stoichiometry of formula [M(CH3_xClxCOO)2QuinNO] (when M=Co(II), Ni(II); X=1,2 and 3 and when M=Cu(II), X=l and 2) except copper(II) trichloroacetate which yields an adduct of 1:2 stoichiometry of formula[Cu(CCI3COO)2(QuinNO)2]. 4-(2-Pyridylazo) resorcinol, PAR, is shown to be useful for simultaneous determination of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) using second-derivative spectrophotometric method with controlled experimental parameters. This method allows the determination of 0.20-1.25 ppm of nickel(II) and 0.25-1.50 ppm of cobalt(II) in mixtures with good precision and accuracy. powder diffraction for compound 2, EDAX, IR, electronic spectra in the solid phase and in solution, and magnetic properties.
Thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry of both compounds revealed a loss of 11 water molecules through an

A series of metal coordination polymers, [Co2(NB)4(bpp)2(H2O)]·H2O ( 1 ), [Co2(e,e‐trans‐chdc)(e,a‐cis‐chdc)(bpp)2] ( 2 ), [Ni(e,e‐trans‐chdc)(bpp)(H2O)2] ( 3 ), [Ni2(PDA)2(bpp)2(H2O)3]·H2O ( 4 ), and [Ni‐(mBDC)(bpp)] ( 5 ) (NB = 3‐nitrobenzoate anion; bpp = 4,4′‐trimethylene dipyridine; chdc = cyclohexane‐1,4‐dicarboxylate anion; PDA = 1,4‐phenylenediacetate anion; mBDC = 1,3‐benzene dicarboxylate anion), were synthesized from metal ions and organic mixed‐ligands by hydrothermal reactions. The single crystal structure analysis revealed that 1, 3, and 4 were 2D sheets with bilayer (1 and 4) and 2‐fold interpenetrated layers (3), 2 is a 3D binodal (4,5)‐connected framework, and 5 is a 1D chains. The non‐covalent interactions of H‐bonds and π–π stacking caused this conformation of highly cross‐linked networks. Compounds 1‐5 were further characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis, powder X‐ray diffraction, UV‐vis, infrared, and PL spectroscopy. 相似文献

Cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexation with acenaphthenequinone monosemicarbazone (AQSC) has been studied spectrophotometrically. The Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes are soluble in ethanol medium and exhibit maximum absorbance at 410, 420 and 430 nm, respectively. The sensitivity of the reactions are 0.012, 0.02 and 0.01 μg/cm2 for cobalt, nickel and copper systems. All the three complexes show maximum and constant absorbance in the pH range 8.4 to 9.8, 6.3 to 8.4 and 5.4 to 8.0 for Co-AQSC, Ni-AQSC and Cu-AQSC, respectively. Only 1:1 complexes were formed in solution and solid. The pK's of the ligand and its complexes were computed. The electronic absorption spectra of the complexes depict the octahedral geometry. The title complex [K{Cu(acen)}3]2[Co(NCS)4]·1/4CH3OH (acen = acetylacetonethylenediamine anion) has been prepared and characterized. Single-crystal x-ray analysis reveals that the complex crystallizes in space group P I with a = 11.442(2), b = 15.098(3), c = 28.500(4) Å, α = 82.77(1), β = 83.58(1), γ = 85.07(1)°. The crystal consists of the complex [K{Cu(acen)}3]+ cations, [Co(NCS)4]2? anions and methanol molecules. Three [Cu(acen)] molecules function as bridging ligands through phenolic O atoms to one K+ to give the tetranuclear [K{Cu(acen)}3]+ cation. Each copper(II) atom in the cation is in a square-planar geometry, being coordinated by two oxygen atoms and two nitrogen atoms from a quadridentate acen ligand. The cobalt(II) atom is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of thiocyanate ligands, forming a deformed tetrahedral environment. The IR and UV-Vis spectra have also been investigated. 相似文献

The transport of Co(II) and Ni(II) ions through charged polysulfonated ion exchange membranes under Donnan dialysis conditions has been studied as a function of pH gradient at 25 degrees C. In the Donnan dialysis process, the membrane is bounded by two electrolyte solutions, the one side (donor phase) initially containing metal salts and the other H(2)SO(4) with no external potential field applied. The transport of metal ions through membranes was correlated with the flux data as well as with estimated diffusion coefficients and was found to depend on the interaction between the fixed groups in the membrane and the metal ions. It was observed that the pH gradient influences the transport of metals and the flux of ions increases with H ion concentration in the receiver phase. Copyright 2000 Academic Press. 相似文献

Seven new cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes with Schiff's bases were synthesized. The Schiff's bases were prepared by the condensation of 1-aminonaphthalene with carbinols, -hydroxy--phenylacetophenone (L1), salicylaldehyde (L2), and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde (L3), and of 2-aminonaphthalenesulfonic-5 acid with 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde (L4). The compounds were studied by X-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetry, measurements of magnetic susceptibility, and spectroscopy (IR and diffuse reflectance). The coordination sites of the ligand and their dentate members were determined. A coordination number of four was realized in the Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes with L1–L3, and the complexes with L4 were characterized by a coordination number of six (a dimer with an octahedral environment of each central ion). 相似文献
