The efficiency of mixtures of the commercial antioxidants, Hostanox OSP 1, Irganox 1010 and distearylthiodipropionate was examined by chemiluminescence and oxygen uptake methods. Lower induction periods of oxidation, observed by the chemiluminescence method at 190°C, were found with samples which contain more of the less volatile additives. In accordance with earlier findings this is due to the surface nature of chemiluminescence which yields results close to those of the kinetic region. 相似文献

Chemiluminescence in the visible spectral region is observed in the course methyl ethyl ketone oxidation by ozone in neutral and acidic aqueous solutions. The spectral composition of the chemiluminescence is studied. On going from neutral to acidic aqueous solutions of methyl ethyl ketone, the initial intensity of the signal increases and the kinetics of a decrease in the chemiluminescence intensity changes. On the series of hemicelluloses such as xyloglucans and xylans the effect of O-CH3 substitution and initial molar mass on chemiluminescence intensity measured under non-isothermal conditions in oxygen and nitrogen from 40 to 220 °C was examined. It was ascertained that the rate constants of oxidation determined from non-isothermal chemiluminescence experiments describe quite well the relative stability of the respective hemicellulose. Similarly as in the case of cellulose and pullulan increasing molar mass has an adverse effect on the intensity of the light emission. 相似文献
