We have synthesized and characterized a series of trinuclear gold(I) complexes [(AuX)(3)(mu-triphos)] (triphos = bis(2-diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine; X = Cl 1, Br 2, I 3, C(6)F(5) 4) and di- and trinuclear gold(III) complexes [[Au(C(6)F(5))(3)](n)(mu-triphos)] (n = 2 (5), 3 (6)). The crystal structure of 6 [[Au(C(6)F(5))(3)](3)(mu-triphos)] has been determined by X-ray diffraction studies, which show the triphosphine in a conformation resulting in very long gold-gold distances, probably associated with the steric requirements of the tris(pentafluorophenyl)gold(III) units. Complex 6 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P(-1) with a = 12.7746(16) A, b = 18.560(2) A, c = 21.750(3) A, alpha = 98.215(3) degrees, beta = 101.666(3) degrees, gamma = 96.640(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Chloride substitutions in complex 1 afford trinuclear gold(I) complexes [(AuX)(3)(mu-triphos)] (X = Fmes (1,3,5-tris(trifluoromethyl)phenyl) 7, p-SC(6)H(4)Me 8, SCN 9) and [Au(3)Cl(3)(-)(n)()(S(2)CNR(2))(n)(mu-triphos)] (R = Me, n = 3 (10), 2 (12), 1 (14); R = CH(2)Ph, n = 3 (11), 2 (13), 1 (15)). The luminescence properties of these complexes in the solid state have been studied; at low temperature most of them are luminescent, including the gold(III) derivative 6, with the intensity and the emission maxima being clearly influenced by the nature and the number of the ligands bonded to the gold centers.  相似文献

The structures of the trinuclear gold(I), [Au(3)(2,6-Me(2)-form)(2)-(THT)Cl], the dinuclear [Au(2)(2,6-Me(2)-form)(2)], and the oxidative-addition product [Au(2)(2,6-Me(2)-form)(2)Cl(2)] formamidinate complexes are reported. The trinuclear complex is stable with gold-gold distances 3.01 and 3.55 A. The gold-gold distance in the dinuclear complex decreases upon oxidative-addition with halogens from 2.7 to 2.5 A, similar to observations made with the dithiolates and ylides.  相似文献

The new 2-phenylthiocarbamoyl-1,3-dimesitylimidazolium inner salt (IMes·CSNPh) reacts with [AuCl(L)] in the presence of NH(4)PF(6) to yield [(L)Au(SCNPh·IMes)](+) (L = PMe(3), PPh(3), PCy(3), CNBu(t)). The carbene-containing precursor [(IDip)AuCl] reacts with IMes·CSNPh under the same conditions to afford the complex [(IDip)Au(SCNPh·IMes)](+) (IDip = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene). Treatment of the diphosphine complex [(dppm)(AuCl)(2)] with one equivalent of IMes·CSNPh yields the digold metallacycle, [(dppm)Au(2)(SCNPh·IMes)](2+), while reaction of [L(2)(AuCl)(2)] with two equivalents of IMes·CSNPh results in [(L(2)){Au(SCNPh·IMes)}(2)](2+) (L(2) = dppb, dppf, or dppa; dppb = 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane, dppf = 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, dppa = 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)acetylene). The homoleptic complex [Au(SCNPh·IMes)(2)](+) is formed on reaction of [AuCl(tht)] (tht = tetrahydrothiophene) with two equivalents of the imidazolium-2-phenylthiocarbamoyl ligand. This product reacts with AgOTf to yield the mixed metal compound [AuAg(SCNPh·IMes)(2)](2+). Over time, the unusual trimetallic complex [Au(AgOTf)(2)(SCNPh·IMes)(2)](+) is formed. The sulfur-oxygen mixed-donor ligands IMes·COS and SIMes·COS (SIMes = 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene) were used to prepare [(L)Au(SOC·IMes)](+) and [(L)Au(SOC·SIMes)](+) from [(L)AuCl] (L = PPh(3), CN(t)Bu). The bimetallic examples [(dppf){Au(SOC·IMes)}(2)](2+) and [(dppf){Au(SOC·SIMes)}(2)](2+) were synthesized from the reaction of [(dppf)(AuCl)(2)] with the appropriate ligand. Reaction of [(tht)AuCl] with one equivalent of IMes·COS or SIMes·COS yields [Au(SOC·IMes)(2)](+) and [Au(SOC·SIMes)(2)](+), respectively. The compounds [(Ph(3)P)Au(SCNPh·IMes)]PF(6), [(Cy(3)P)Au(SCNPh·IMes)]PF(6) and [Au(AgOTf)(2)(SCNPh·IMes)(2)]OTf were characterized crystallographically.  相似文献

Reactions of a gold(i) thiolate complex [Au(Tab)(2)](2)(PF(6))(2) (Tab = 4-(trimethylammonio)benzenethiolate) with equimolar 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphine)ethane (dppe), 1,3-bis-(diphenylphosphine)propane (dppp) or 1,4-bis-(diphenylphosphine)butane (dppb) in MeOH-DMF-CH(2)Cl(2) gave rise to three polymeric complexes [Au(2)(Tab)(2)(dppe)](2)(PF(6))(4)·2MeOH (1·2MeOH), [Au(2)(Tab)(2)(dppp)]Cl(2)·0.5MeOH·4H(2)O (2·0.5MeOH·4H(2)O), and [Au(4)(μ-Tab)(2)(Tab)(2)(dppb)](PF(6))(4)·4DMF (3·4DMF), respectively. Analogous reaction of 1 with dppb in DMF/C(2)H(4)Cl(2) produced one tetranuclear complex [Au(2)(μ-Tab)(Tab)(2)](2)Cl(4)·2DMF·4H(2)O (4·2DMF·4H(2)O). Complexes 1-4 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, UV-vis spectra, (1)H and (31)P{(1)H} NMR and single crystal X-ray analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 consist of [Au(Tab)](2) dimeric fragments that are bridged by dppe or dppp ligands to form a 1D linear chain extending along the a axis. For 3, each [Au(4)(Tab)(2)(μ-Tab)(2)] fragment is linked by a pair of dppb ligands to afford another 1D chain extending along the c axis. For 4, the four [Au(Tab)](+) fragments are linked by two Au-Au bonds and two doubly bridging Tab ligands to form a {[Au(Tab)](4)(μ-Tab)(2)} chair-like cyclohexane structure. Hydrogen-bonding interactions in 2 and 4 lead to the formation of interesting 2D hydrogen-bonded networks. The luminescent properties of 1-4 in solid state were also investigated.  相似文献

The salts K[AuCl(2)(CN)(2)]·H(2)O (1), K[AuBr(2)(CN)(2)]·2H(2)O (2) and K[AuI(2)(CN)(2)]·?H(2)O (3) were synthesized and structurally characterized. Compound 1 crystallizes as a network of square planar [AuCl(2)(CN)(2)](-) anions separated by K(+) cations. However, 2 and 3 feature 2-D sheets built by the aggregation of [AuX(2)(CN)(2)](-) anions via weak, intermolecular X···X interactions. The mixed anion double salts K(3)[Au(CN)(2)](2)[AuBr(2)(CN)(2)]·H(2)O (4) and K(5)[Au(CN)(2)](4)[AuI(2)(CN)(2)]·2H(2)O (5) were also synthesized by cocrystallization of K[Au(CN)(2)] and the respective K[AuX(2)(CN)(2)] salts. Similarly to 2 and 3, the [Au(CN)(2)](-) and [AuX(2)(CN)(2)](-) anions form 2-D sheets via weak, intermolecular Au(I)···X and Au(I)···Au(I) interactions. In the case of 5, a rare unsupported Au(I)···Au(III) interaction of 3.5796(5) ? is also seen between the two anionic units. Despite the presence of Au(I) aurophilic interactions of 3.24-3.45 ?, neither 4 nor 5 exhibit any detectable emission at room temperature, suggesting that the presence of Au(I)···X or Au(I)···Au(III) interactions may affect the emissive properties.  相似文献

Na[AuCl(4)]·2H(2)O reacts with tridentate thiosemicarbazide ligands, H(2)L1, derived from N-[N',N'-dialkylamino(thiocarbonyl)]benzimidoyl chloride and thiosemicarbazides under formation of air-stable, green [AuCl(L1)] complexes. The organic ligands coordinate in a planar SNS coordination mode. Small amounts of gold(I) complexes of the composition [AuCl(L3)] are formed as side-products, where L3 is an S-bonded 5-diethylamino-3-phenyl-1-thiocarbamoyl-1,2,4-triazole. The formation of the triazole L3 can be explained by the oxidation of H(2)L1 to an intermediate thiatriazine L2 by Au(3+), followed by a desulfurization reaction with ring contraction. The chloro ligands in the [AuCl(L1)] complexes can readily be replaced by other monoanionic ligands such as SCN(-) or CN(-) giving [Au(SCN)(L1)] or [Au(CN)(L1)] complexes. The complexes described in this paper represent the first examples of fully characterized neutral Gold(III) thiosemicarbazone complexes. All the [AuCl(L1)] compounds present a remarkable cell growth inhibition against human MCF-7 breast cancer cells. However, systematic variation of the alkyl groups in the N(4)-position of the thiosemicarbazone building blocks as well as the replacement of the chloride by thiocyanate ligands do not considerably influence the biological activity. On the other hand, the reduction of Au(III) to Au(I) leads to a considerable decrease of the cytotoxicity.  相似文献

A mixture of cyclic gold(I) complexes [Au(2)(μ-cis-dppen)(2)]X(2) (X = OTf 1, PF(6)3) and [Au(cis-dppen)(2)]X (X = OTf 2, PF(6)4) is obtained from the reaction of [Au(tht)(2)]X (tht = tetrahydrothiophene) with one equivalent of cis-dppen [dppen = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene]. The analogous reaction with trans-dppen or dppa [dppa = bis(diphenylphosphino)acetylene] affords the cyclic trinuclear [Au(3)(μ-trans-dppen)(3)]X(3) (X = OTf 11, PF(6)12) and tetranuclear [Au(4)(μ-dppa)(4)]X(4) (X = OTf 13, PF(6)14, ClO(4)15) gold complexes, respectively. Recrystallization of 15 from CH(2)Cl(2)/MeOH yielded a crystal of the octanuclear gold cluster [Au(8)Cl(2)(μ-dppa)(4)](ClO(4))(2)16. Attempts to prepare dicationic binuclear gold(II) species from the reaction of a mixture of 3 and 4 with halogens gave a mixture of products, the components of which confirmed to be acyclic binuclear gold(I) [Au(2)X(2)(cis-dppen)] (X = I 5, Br 7) and cyclic mononuclear gold(III) [AuX(2)(cis-dppen)]PF(6) (X = I 6, Br 8) complexes. Complexes 11-14 reveal weak emission in butyronitrile glass at 77 K, but they are non-emissive at room temperature. Ab initio modelling was performed to determine the charge state of the gold atoms involved. Extensive structural comparisons were made to experimental data to benchmark these calculations and rationalize the conformations.  相似文献

The preparations of two new phosphinothiophene ligands, 3,3'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-2,2'-bithiophene (dppbt; 1) and 3,3' "-dihexyl-3',3' '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-2,5':2',2' ':5' ',2' "-quaterthiophene (hdppqt; 2) are reported. Oxidation of 1 gives 3,3'-bis(diphenylphosphine oxide)-2,2'-bithiophene (3), and the crystal structure of this compound was determined. Pd(II) and Au(I) complexes of these ligands have been synthesized and characterized. Crystal structures of [(dppbt)PdCl(2)] (1-Pd), [(hdppqt)PdCl(2)] (2-Pd), [(dppbt)(AuCl)(2)] (1-Au), and [(hdppqt)(AuCl)(2)] (2-Au) were obtained. [(dppbt)(AuCl)(2)] crystallized in two solid-state forms; crystals grown from CH(2)Cl(2)/Et(2)O show a gold-gold interaction of 3.3221(4) A, but from CH(2)Cl(2)/toluene, the molecule crystallizes as a toluene adduct (1-Au-tol) and does not show any gold-gold interaction. All the complexes were characterized via UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry, and the effect of the metal on the energy of the pi-pi transition and oxidation potential was determined. These data are correlated to the interannular torsion angles in the oligothienyl groups from the crystal structure studies.  相似文献

The exploration of the NiX(2)/py(2)CO/Et(3)N (X = F, Cl, Br, I; py(2)CO = di-2-pyridyl ketone; Et(3)N = triethylamine) reaction system led to the tetranuclear [Ni(4)Cl(2){py(2)C(OH)O}(2){py(2)C(OMe)O}(2)(MeOH)(2)]Cl(2)·2Et(2)O (1·2Et(2)O) and [Ni(4)Br(2){py(2)C(OH)O}(2){py(2)C(OMe)O}(2)(MeOH)(2)]Br(2)·2Et(2)O (2·2Et(2)O) and the trinuclear [Ni(3){py(2)C(OMe)O}(4)]I(2)·2.5MeOH (3·2.6MeOH), [Ni(3){py(2)C(OMe)O}(4)](NO(3))(0.65)I(1.35)·2MeOH (4·2MeOH) and [Ni(3){py(2)C(OMe)O}(4)](SiF(6))(0.8)F(0.4)·3.5MeOH (5·3.5MeOH) aggregates. The presence of the intermediate size Cl(-) and Br(-) anions resulted in planar tetranuclear complexes with a dense hexagonal packing of cations and donor atoms (tetramolybdate topology) where the X(-) anions participate in the core acting as bridging ligands. The F(-) and I(-) anions do not favour the above arrangement resulting in triangular complexes with an isosceles topology. The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been studied by variable-temperature dc, variable-temperature and variable-field ac magnetic susceptibility techniques and magnetization measurements. All complexes are high-spin with ground states S = 4 for 1 and 2 and S = 3 for 3.  相似文献

To investigate the factors influencing the formation of intermolecular Au···NC interactions between [Au(CN)(4)](-) units, a series of [cation](n+)[Au(CN)(4)](n) double salts was synthesized, structurally characterized and probed by IR and (15)N{(1)H} CP-MAS NMR spectroscopy. Thus, [(n)Bu(4)N][Au(CN)(4)], [AsPh(4)][Au(CN)(4)], [N(PPh(3))(2)][Au(CN)(4)], [Co(1,10-phenanthroline)(3)][Au(CN)(4)](2), and [Mn(2,2';6',2'-terpyridine)(2)][Au(CN)(4)](2) show [Au(CN)(4)](-) anions that are well-separated from one another; no Au-Au or Au···NC interactions are present. trans-[Co(1,2-diaminoethane)(2)Cl(2)][Au(CN)(4)] forms a supramolecular structure, where trans-[Co(en)(2)Cl(2)](+) and [Au(CN)(4)](-) ions are found in separate layers connected by Au-CN···H-N hydrogen-bonding; weak Au···NC coordinate bonds complete octahedral Au(III) centers, and support a 2-D (4,4) network motif of [Au(CN)(4)](-)-units. A similar structure-type is formed by [Co(NH(3))(6)][Au(CN)(4)](3)·(H(2)O)(4). In [Ni(1,2-diaminoethane)(3)][Au(CN)(4)](2), intermolecular Au···NC interactions facilitate formation of 1-D chains of [Au(CN)(4)](-) anions in the supramolecular structure, which are separated from one another by [Ni(en)(3)](2+) cations. In [1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-H][Au(CN)(4)], the monoprotonated amine cation forms a hydrogen-bond to the [Au(CN)(4)](-) unit on one side, while coordinating to the axial sites of the gold(III) center through the unprotonated amine on the other, thereby generating a 2-D (4,4) net of cations and anions; an additional, uncoordinated [Au(CN)(4)](-)-unit lies in the central space of each grid. This body of structural data indicates that cations with hydrogen-bonding groups can induce intermolecular Au···NC interactions, while the cationic charge, shape, size, and aromaticity have little effect. While the ν(CN) values are poor indicators of the presence or absence of N-cyano bridging between [Au(CN)(4)](-)-units (partly because of the very low intensity of the observed bands), (15)N{(1)H} CP-MAS NMR reveals well-defined, ordered cyanide groups in the six diamagnetic compounds with chemical shifts between 250 and 275 ppm; the resonances between 260 and 275 ppm can be assigned to C-bound terminal ligands, while those subject to CN···H-N bonding resonate lower, around 250-257 ppm. The (15)N chemical shift also correlates with the intermolecular Au···N distances: the shortest Au-N distances also shift the (15)N peak to lower frequency. This provides a real, spectroscopically measurable electronic effect associated with the crystallographic observation of intermolecular Au···NC interactions, thereby lending support for their viability.  相似文献

The synthesis of two organogold(I) complexes, [(Au(NCN))2(dppbp)] (6) and [(Au(Phebox))2(dppbp)] (9), and their application in subsequent transmetalating reactions are described. A trinuclear organogold(I) complex, [(AuCl)3(tdpppb)] (4) is also reported, which exhibits a surprisingly high solubility in dichloromethane. It was found that 6 and 9 can cleanly transfer the anionic NCN-([C(6)H(3)(CH(2)NMe(2))2-2,6]-) or Phebox-([2,6-bis(oxazolinyl)phenyl]-) moiety to Ti(IV) and Pd(II) centers, respectively. The coproduct [(AuCl)2(dppbp)] (3, dppbp is [4-Ph(2)PC(6)H(4)]2 (1)) formed during this transmetalation reaction, precipitates almost quantitatively from the reaction mixture (toluene) and can thus be separated by simple filtration. In comparison, [AuCl(PPh3)], formed as the coproduct in the transmetalation reaction of [Au(NCN)(PPh3)] with metal salts, has a higher solubility in apolar solvents and thus is more difficult to separate from the resultant organometallic complex. Digold complex 6 has been characterized by NMR spectroscopy and crystallographic analyses. These analyses show that the two gold units are essentially independent. The formation of a dimetallic transmetalating agent based on gold(I) had no effect on its transmetalating properties.  相似文献

Na[BH(pz)(3)] and Na[AuCl(4)].2H(2)O react in water (1:1) to give [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-BH(pz)(3)]Cl(2)] (1) or, in the presence of NaClO(4) (2:1:1), the cationic complex [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-BH(pz)(3)](2)]ClO(4) (2). The reactions of Na[B(pz)(4)] with the cyclometalated gold complexes [AuRCl(2)] and NaClO(4) (1:1:1) produce [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-B(pz)(4)](R)]ClO(4) [R = kappa(2)-C,N-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2)-2 (3)] or [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-B(pz)(4)](R)Cl] [R = C(6)H(3)(N=NC(6)H(4)Me-4')-2-Me-5 (4)], respectively, although 4 is better obtained in the absence of NaClO(4). The crystal structures of 1 and 3.CHCl(3) are reported. Both complexes display the gold center in square planar environments, two coordination sites being occupied by the chelating poly(pyrazolyl)borate ligands.  相似文献

A family of Mn(III)/Ni(II) heterometallic clusters, [Mn(III)(4)Ni(II)(5)(OH)(4)(hmcH)(4)(pao)(8)Cl(2)]·5DMF (1·5DMF), [Mn(III)(3)Ni(II)(6)(N(3))(2)(pao)(10)(hmcH)(2)(OH)(4)]Br·2MeOH·9H(2)O (2·2MeOH·9H(2)O), [Mn(III)Ni(II)(5)(N(3))(4)(pao)(6)(paoH)(2)(OH)(2)](ClO(4))·MeOH·3H(2)O (3·MeOH·3H(2)O), and [Mn(III)(2)Ni(II)(2)(hmcH)(2)(pao)(4)(OMe)(2)(MeOH)(2)]·2H(2)O·6MeOH (4·2H(2)O·6MeOH) [paoH = pyridine-2-aldoxime, hmcH(3) = 2, 6-Bis(hydroxymethyl)-p-cresol], has been prepared by reactions of Mn(II) salts with [Ni(paoH)(2)Cl(2)], hmcH(3), and NEt(3) in the presence or absence of NaN(3) and characterized. Complex 1 has a Mn(III)(4)Ni(II)(5) topology which can be described as two corner-sharing [Mn(2)Ni(2)O(2)] butterfly units bridged to an outer Mn atom and a Ni atom through alkoxide groups. Complex 2 has a Mn(III)(3)Ni(II)(6) topology that is similar to that of 1 but with two corner-sharing [Mn(2)Ni(2)O(2)] units of 1 replaced with [Mn(3)NiO(2)] and [MnNi(3)O(2)] units as well as the outer Mn atom of 1 substituted by a Ni atom. 1 and 2 represent the largest 3d heterometal/oxime clusters and the biggest Mn(III)Ni(II) clusters discovered to date. Complex 3 possesses a [MnNi(5)(μ-N(3))(2)(μ-OH)(2)](9+) core, whose topology is observed for the first time in a discrete molecule. Careful examination of the structures of 1-3 indicates that the Mn/Ni ratios of the complexes are likely associated with the presence of the different coligands hmcH(2-) and/or N(3)(-). Complex 4 has a Mn(III)(2)Ni(II)(2) defective double-cubane topology. Variable-temperature, solid-state dc and ac magnetization studies were carried out on complexes 1-4. Fitting of the obtained M/(Nμ(B)) vs H/T data gave S = 5, g = 1.94, and D = -0.38 cm(-1) for 1 and S = 3, g = 2.05, and D = -0.86 cm(-1) for 3. The ground state for 2 was determined from ac data, which indicated an S = 5 ground state. For 4, the pairwise exchange interactions were determined by fitting the susceptibility data vs T based on a 3-J model. Complex 1 exhibits out-of-phase ac susceptibility signals, indicating it may be a SMM.  相似文献

We have synthesized a series of trinuclear gold(I) complexes, namely, [Au3(mu-dpmp)(S2CNR2)nCl3-n] (n = 0-3; R = Me, CH2Ph), [Au3(mu-dpmp)(mu-S2CNR2)Cl](CF3SO3) (R = Me, CH2Ph), and [Au3(mu-dpmp)(mu-S2CNMe2)(C6F5)]X (X = Cl, CF3SO3), containing the triphosphine dpmp [bis(diphenylphosphinomethyl)phenylphosphine] and varying amounts of dithiocarbamate. NMR experiments show fluxional behavior in solution for most of these derivatives because several arrangements of the ligands are possible. The crystal structure of [(mu-dpmp)(AuCl)3] has been determined by X-ray diffraction studies; the molecule displays mirror symmetry and involves an angular arrangement of the gold atoms [Au-Au-Au 119.603(14) degrees, Au-Au 3.3709(4) A]. We have studied the optical properties of these derivatives in the solid state, finding a red shift as a function of the dithiocarbamate number and, for some derivatives, wavelength-dependent emission spectra at low temperature.  相似文献

Reactions of [Au(PPh3)Cl], (Bu4N)[AuCl4] and the organometallic gold complex [Au(damp-C1,N)Cl2] (damp- = 2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl) with the potentially tri- and tetradentate proligands PhP(C6H3-SH-2-R-3)2 (H2L1a, R = SiMe3; H2L1b, R = H) and P(C6H4-SH-2)3 (H3L2) result in the formation of mono- or dinuclear gold complexes depending on the precursor used. Monomeric complexes of the type [AuL1Cl] are formed upon the reaction with [Au(damp-C1,N)Cl2], but small amounts of dinuclear [AuL1]2 complexes with gold in two different oxidation states, +1 and +3, have been isolated as side-products. The dinuclear compounds are obtained in better yields from [AuCl4]-. A dinuclear complex having two Au(III) centers can be isolated from the reaction of [Au(PPh3)Cl] with H3L2, whereas from the reaction with H2L1b the mononuclear [Au(Ph3P)HL1b] is obtained, which contains a three-coordinate gold atom. Comparatively short gold-gold distances have been found in the dinuclear complexes (2.978(2) and 3.434(1) A). They are indicative of weak gold-gold interactions, which is unusual for gold(III).  相似文献

Novel thiosemicarbazonato complexes of gold(III) have been prepared from reactions of [Au(damp-C1,N)Cl2(damp- = 2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl) or [NBu4][AuCl4] with 2-pyridineformamide thiosemicarbazones (HL). The thiosemicarbazones deprotonate and coordinate as mononegative, tridentate NNS ligands to gold to give [Au(Hdamp-C1)(L)]Cl2 or [AuCl(L)]Cl complexes. The organometallic damp- ligand is protonated during the reactions and the Au-N bond is cleaved. The [AuCl(L)]+ cations represent the first gold(III) complexes with thiourea derivatives which are not stabilised by an additional organometallic ligand. Reactions of [NBu4][AuX4](X = Cl, Br) with diphenylthiocarbazone (dithizone) result in reduction of the metal and the formation of gold(I) complexes of the composition [AuX(SCN4-3,4-Ph2)] where SCN4-3,4-Ph2 is 3,4-diphenyltetrazole thione which is formed from cyclisation of dithizone.  相似文献

A variety of gold(III) and gold(I) derivatives of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazole (pbiH) were synthesized and fully characterized and their antiproliferative properties evaluated in a representative ovarian cancer cell line. The complexes include the mononuclear species [(pbi)AuX(2)] (X = Cl, 1; OAc, 2), [(pbiH)AuCl] (3), [(pbiH)Au(PPh(3))][PF(6)] (4-PF(6)), and [(pbi)Au(L)] (L = PPh(3), 5; TPA, 6), and the binuclear gold(I)/gold(I) and gold(I)/gold(III) derivatives [(PPh(3))(2)Au(2)(μ(2)-pbi)][PF(6)] (10-PF(6)), [ClAu(μ(3)-pbi)AuCl(2)] (7),and [(PPh(3))Au(μ(3)-pbi)AuX(2)][PF(6)] (X = Cl, 8-PF(6); OAc, 9-PF(6)). The molecular structures of 6, 7, and 10-PF(6) were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The chemical behavior of these compounds in solution was analyzed both by cyclic voltammetry in DMF and absorption UV-vis spectroscopy in an aqueous buffer. Overall, the stability of these gold compounds was found to be acceptable for the cellular studies. For all complexes, relevant antiproliferative activities in vitro were documented against A2780 human ovarian carcinoma cells, either resistant or sensitive to cisplatin, with IC(50) values falling in the low micromolar or even in the nanomolar range. The investigated gold compounds were found to overcome resistance to cisplatin to a large degree. Results are interpreted and discussed in the frame of current knowledge on cytotoxic and antitumor gold compounds.  相似文献

The reactions of PbPh(2)Cl(2) in methanol with acetophenone, salicylaldehyde, pyridine-2-carbaldehyde, 2-acetylpyridine, and 2-benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazones (HATSC, HSTSC, HPyTSC, HAcPyTSC, and HBPyTSC, respectively) were explored. Despite the similarities among these ligands, the reactions afforded solids with very diverse compositions and structural characteristics, which were in most cases analyzed by X-ray diffractometry (as was the structure of the free ligand HBPyTSC). In the complexes [PbPh(2)Cl(2)(HATSC)](2), [PbPh(2)Cl(2)(HSTSC)(2)], [(PbPh(2)Cl(HPyTSC)(2))][PbPh(2)Cl(3)(MeOH)](2), and [PbPh(2)Cl(PyTSC)] the metal atoms are surrounded by more or less distorted octahedral coordination polyhedra; if both strong and weak interactions are considered, the lead atom in [PbPh(2)Cl(AcPyTSC)] has coordination number 7 and distorted pentagonal bipyramidal coordination geometry, while [(PbPh(2)(BPyTSC))(2)(PbPh(2)Cl(4))].2MeOH contains two different types of lead atom, one with octahedral and the other with pentagonal bipyramidal coordination. The complexes (H(2)AcPyTSC)[PbPh(2)Cl(3)] and [PbPh(2)Cl(HAcPyTSC)][PbPh(2)Cl(3)], which were also isolated, could not be crystallized. All these complexes are soluble in DMSO, and the compositions of these solutions were investigated using conductivity measurements and (1)H and (207)Pb NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

N-Heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligand precursors, namely, HIm(A)Cl [1,3-bis(2-ethoxy-2-oxoethyl)-1H-imidazol-3-ium chloride] and HIm(B)Cl {1,3-bis[2-(diethylamino)-2-oxoethyl]-1H-imidazol-3-ium chloride}, functionalized with hydrophilic groups on the imidazole rings have been synthesized and were used in the synthesis of corresponding carbene complexes of silver(I) and copper(I), {[Im(A)]AgCl}, {[Im(A)]CuCl}, and {[Im(B)](2)Ag}Cl. Related Au(I)NHC complexes {[Im(A)]AuCl} and {[Im(B)]AuCl} have been obtained by transmetalation using the silver carbene precursor. These compounds were characterized by several spectroscopic techniques including NMR and mass spectroscopy. HIm(B)Cl and the gold(I) complexes {[Im(A)]AuCl} and {[Im(B)]AuCl} were also characterized by X-ray crystallography. The cytotoxic properties of the NHC complexes have been assessed in various human cancer cell lines, including cisplatin-sensitive and -resistant cells. The silver(I) complex {[Im(B)](2)Ag}Cl was found to be the most active, with IC(50) values about 2-fold lower than those achieved with cisplatin in C13*-resistant cells. Growth-inhibitory effects evaluated in human nontransformed cells revealed a preferential cytotoxicity of {[Im(B)](2)Ag}Cl versus neoplastic cells. Gold(I) and silver(I) carbene complexes were also evaluated for their ability to in vitro inhibit the enzyme thioredoxin reductase (TrxR). The results of this investigation showing that TrxR appeared markedly inhibited by both gold(I) and silver(I) derivatives at nanomolar concentrations clearly point out this selenoenzyme as a protein target for silver(I) in addition to gold(I) complexes.  相似文献

The DPP dyes (=diketopyrrolopyrrole) 1 are deprotonated to give the corresponding dianions 2. These are treated with two moles of the transition-metal complexes [L(n)MX]=[(Ph(3)P)(2)MX] (M=Cu, Ag; X=Cl, NO(3)), [(Ph(3)P)AuCl], [(Et(3)P)AuCl], [(tBuNC)AuCl], [(Ph(3)P)(2)PdCl(2)], and [(Ph(3)P)(2)PtCl(2)] to give the novel bismetalated DPP dyes [L(n)MN[C(3)R(1)(O)](2)NML(n)] (4-10). In comparison with the starting materials, these compounds show better solubilities, high fluorescence quantum yields (Phi > or = 80 %), and bathochromic absorptions. The compounds 4 c, 5 a, 6 b, 6 c, 6 e, 7 c, and 8 c were characterized by X-ray crystallography. The copper and silver atoms in 4 c and 5 a are trigonal planar and are surrounded by the P atoms of the phosphane ligands and the N atom of the DPP dianion 2. Both metals are somewhat forced out-of-plane, and the P(2)M plane and the phenyl planes of R1 are twisted by > or = 70 degrees and < or = 25 degrees, respectively, towards the chromophore plane. The gold atoms in 6-8 are linearly coordinated to one N and one P (6 b, c, e, 7 c) or one C atom (8 c), respectively. The gold atoms are only slightly pressed out-of-plane, and the P substituents are staggered so that there is enough space for the planarization of R(1) into the plane of the chromophore. Compound 8 c shows intermolecular d(10)-d(10) interactions between Au(I) centers of different molecules, and these interactions lead to infinite chains of parallel orientated molecules in a gauche conformation of neighbors (torsion angle=150 degrees) in the crystal.  相似文献
