压缩态光场变耦合系数双光子J-C模型性质   总被引:12,自引:7,他引:5

讨论了初始光场为压缩态、原子-光场耦合系数随时间变化情形下双光子过程J-C模型的量子统计性质。具体研究了双光子过程中原子布居数反转、光场的压缩等随时间的演化性质,讨论了初始光场的压缩系数、压缩相位及耦合系数变化快慢对这些性质的影响。研究结果表明,初始光场的压缩系数增大,崩塌和回复的频率增大,回复值减小。当原子-光场耦合系数变化缓慢时,崩塌和回复现象被延迟。而光场逐渐失去压缩性质;而当耦合系数变化较快时,崩塌和回复现象被加速,而光场压缩量将产生振荡,压缩效应将反复出现。  相似文献

We study the dynamics of edge states of the two dimensional BHZ Hamiltonian in a ribbon geometry following a sudden quench to the quantum critical point separating the topological insulator phase from the trivial insulator phase. The effective edge state Hamiltonian is a collection of decoupled qubit-like two-level systems which get coupled to bulk states following the quench. We notice a pronounced collapse and revival of the Lochschmidt echo for low-energy edge states illustrating the oscillation of the state between the two edges. We also observe a similar collapse and revival in the spin Hall current carried by these edge states, leading to a persistence of its time-averaged value.  相似文献

Collapse and revival of the Doppler-Rabi oscillations of a two-level atom moving in a cavity electromagnetic field are analyzed. The coupled atom-field dynamics are predicted accurately by numerical calculation and approximately by using the stationary phase approximation combined with the Poisson summation formula. The collapse and revival patterns are shown to be qualitatively different in the cases of moving atom and atom at rest. In particular, quantum revivals of Doppler-Rabi oscillations occur with a period determined by the Doppler shift of the atomic transition frequency. This regime of Doppler-Rabi oscillations requires that the Rabi frequency and the Doppler shift satisfy the condition ΩR ? ΩD. Under the inverse relation, the collapse- revival phenomenon generally does not occur. It is shown that even a small amount of atom-cavity detuning eliminates collapse-revival behavior. The analysis is performed for both coherent and thermal cavity fields.  相似文献

Squeezing via the interaction between the cavity light field and the Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC) in a doublewell potential is considered within the context of the two-mode approximation. For the cavity light field initially in a coherent state, it is shown that by choosing appropriate parameters, quadrature squeezing of the cavity light field can be achieved and it exhibits periodic oscillation. We also study the case in which BEC is tuned to resonance by periodically modulating the trapping potentiaL and the quadrature squeezing of the cavity field exhibits periodic collapse and revival effect. Both analytic and numerical calculations are performed, and they are found to be in good agreement with each other. The result shows that the quantum statistical properties of the cavity light field can be manipulated by its coupling with the condensates in the double-well potential. On the other hand, dynamical properties of the condensates in the double-well potential will be reflected by the quadrature squeezing of the light field.  相似文献

We utilized hybrid circuit QED to prepare a multiphoton binomial state in accordance with the optimal quantum control method, and further investigated the quantum correlation dynamics of the hybrid coupling superconducting qubits. The results showed that the quantum entanglement was so weak that the duration was too short to be used as quantum information resource in the optical field of binomial state, while the geometric measure of quantum discord (GMQD) was fully adequate to the practical demand. With the increase of binomial optical field parameters M and r, the GMQD evolved more and more frequently, and collapse and revival occurred periodically. When the optical field of binomial state tended to coherent state, the collapse and revival period of the GMQD extended as the average photon number increased.  相似文献

We have exactly solved a model of equidistant cascade four-level system interacting with a single-mode radiation field both semiclassically and quantum mechanically by exploiting its similarity with Jaynes-Cummings model. For the classical field, it is shown that the Rabi oscillation of the system initially in the first level (second level) is similar to that of the system when it is initially in the fourth level (third level). We then proceed to solve the quantized version of the model where the dressed state is constructed using a six-parameter four-dimensional matrix and show that the symmetry exhibited in the Rabi oscillation of the system for the semiclassical model is completely destroyed on the quantization of the cavity field. Finally, we have studied the collapse and revival of the system for the cavity field-mode in a coherent state to discuss the restoration of symmetry and its implication is discussed.   相似文献

The Dicke model is investigated within and without rotating-wave approximation in the case of a lossless resonant cavity. Numerical results for the time evolution of the atomic population inversion, dipole moment and atomic and field squeezing parameters for an initial field are presented for different numbers of atoms. We experimentally realize a quantum-memory protocol based on retrieval of silenced echo (ROSE) in Tm3+:Y3Al5O12 crystal in an orthogonal geometry of the signal and control light fields. The silenced echo signal revival efficiency of ~13% with 36 μs storage time is demonstrated. To achieve that we implemented a high-precision atomic coherence control via amplitude- and phase-modulated laser pulses. We also discuss capabilities of this configuration, ways to increase quantum efficiency and to combine it with a single-mode optical cavity.  相似文献

采用相互作用图景,对相干态Jaynes-Cummings(JC)模型在失谐情况下导出了严格的解析解。用数值计算研究了原子能级占有几率与时间,失谐量和初始平均光子数的关系,发现原子能级占有几率对失谐量也表现出量子塌缩和再生现象;讨论了再生时间与再生信号之间的干涉现象。用数值计算研究了场的相干态的时间发展,发现JC模型一个有趣而又重要的新现象,即对于短时间范围,场态的发展表现出准可逆性,并详细讨论了这个现象。  相似文献

We report the long time dynamical behaviour of ac Stark effect in a simple quantum model in which two level atoms interact with quantized coherent radiation field. A new phenomenon of periodic quantum collapse and revival of the ac Stark shift of energy level due to ac Stark effect is expressed accurately by analysing the phase of transition probability amplitude. We study the quantum dynamics of an impurity-doped Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) system. We show how to generate the macroscopic quantum superposition states (MQSSs) of the BEC by the use of projective measurements on impurity atoms. It is found that the nonclassicality of MQSSs can be manipulated by changing the number of the impurities and their interaction with the BEC. It is shown that the BEC matter-wave field exhibits a collapse and revival phenomenon which reveals the quantum nature of the BEC matter-wave field. We investigate the micro-macro entanglement between the impurities and the BEC, and find enhancement of the micro-macro entanglement induced by the initial quantum coherence of the impurity atoms.  相似文献
