We study scalar conservation laws with nonlinear diffusion and nonlinear dispersion terms (any ??1), the flux function f(u) being mth order growth at infinity. It is shown that if ε, δ=δ(ε) tend to 0, then the sequence {uε} of the smooth solutions converges to the unique entropy solution uL(0,T;Lq(R)) to the conservation law ut+fx(u)=0 in . The proof relies on the methods of compensated compactness, Young measures and entropy measure-valued solutions. Some new a priori estimates are carried out. In particular, our result includes the convergence result by Schonbek when b(λ)=λ, ?=1 and LeFloch and Natalini when ?=1.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the stability to the global large solutions of 3-D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in the anisotropic Sobolev spaces. In particular, we proved that for any , given a global large solution vC([0,∞);H0,s0(R3)∩L3(R3)) of (1.1) with and a divergence free vector satisfying for some sufficiently small constant depending on , v, and , (1.1) supplemented with initial data v(0)+w0 has a unique global solution in uC([0,∞);H0,s0(R3)) with ∇uL2(R+,H0,s0(R3)). Let A be a selfadjoint linear operator in a Hilbert space H. The DSM (dynamical systems method) for solving equation Av=f consists of solving the Cauchy problem , u(0)=u0, where Φ is a suitable operator, and proving that (i) ∃u(t)∀t>0, (ii) ∃u(∞), and (iii) A(u(∞))=f. It is proved that if equation Av=f is solvable and u solves the problem , u(0)=u0, where a>0 is a parameter and u0 is arbitrary, then lima→0limt→∞u(t,a)=y, where y is the unique minimal-norm solution of the equation Av=f. Stable solution of the equation Av=f is constructed when the data are noisy, i.e., fδ is given in place of f, ‖fδf‖?δ. The case when a=a(t)>0, , a(t)↘0 as t→∞ is considered. It is proved that in this case limt→∞u(t)=y and if fδ is given in place of f, then limt→∞u(tδ)=y, where tδ is properly chosen.  相似文献

We shall be concerned with the existence of heteroclinic orbits for the second order Hamiltonian system , where qRn and VC1(R×Rn,R), V?0. We will assume that V and a certain subset MRn satisfy the following conditions. M is a set of isolated points and #M?2. For every sufficiently small ε>0 there exists δ>0 such that for all (t,z)∈R×Rn, if d(z,M)?ε then −V(t,z)?δ. The integrals , zM, are equi-bounded and −V(t,z)→∞, as |t|→∞, uniformly on compact subsets of Rn?M. Our result states that each point in M is joined to another point in M by a solution of our system.  相似文献

Consider the periodic weighted operator Ty=−ρ−2(ρ2y′)′ in , where the real function ρ is 1-periodic positive, and let q=ρ′/ρL2(0,1). The spectrum of T consists of intervals separated by gaps γn,n?1, with the lengths |γn|. Let hn be a height of the corresponding slit in the quasimomentum domain and let gn,n?1, be the gap with the length |gn| of the operator . The following results are obtained: (i) the quasimomentum k for the weighted operator T is constructed and the basic properties of k are studied, (ii) two-sided estimates of ?2 norms of the sequences {|γn|/n}1,{hn}1,{|gn|}1, in terms of , (iii) the asymptotics of the gap length |γn| as n→∞, are determined. The proofs are based on the analysis of the quasimomentum as a conformal mapping, embedding theorems and the identities between the quasimomentum and the potential. In order to prove these results the asymptotics of the fundamental solutions and the Lyapunov function are obtained at high energy.  相似文献

We investigate a steady flow of a viscous compressible fluid with inflow boundary condition on the density and inhomogeneous slip boundary conditions on the velocity in a cylindrical domain Ω=Ω0×(0,L)∈R3. We show existence of a solution , p>3, where v is the velocity of the fluid and ρ is the density, that is a small perturbation of a constant flow (, ). We also show that this solution is unique in a class of small perturbations of . The term u⋅∇w in the continuity equation makes it impossible to show the existence applying directly a fixed point method. Thus in order to show existence of the solution we construct a sequence (vn,ρn) that is bounded in and satisfies the Cauchy condition in a larger space L(0,L;L2(Ω0)) what enables us to deduce that the weak limit of a subsequence of (vn,ρn) is in fact a strong solution to our problem.  相似文献

We prove the asymptotic stability of nonplanar two-states Riemann solutions in BGK approximations of a class of multidimensional systems of conservation laws. The latter consists of systems whose flux-functions in different directions share a common complete system of Riemann invariants, the level surfaces of which are hyperplanes. The asymptotic stability to which the main result refers is in the sense of the convergence as t→∞ in of the space of directions ζ=x/t. That is, the solution z(t,x,ξ) of the perturbed Cauchy problem for the corresponding BGK system satisfies as t→∞, in , where R(ζ) is the self-similar entropy solution of the two-states nonplanar Riemann problem for the system of conservation laws.  相似文献

The asymptotic behavior of solutions of the damped compressible Euler equations is conjectured to obey to the famous porous media equations (PMES). The previous works on this topic concern the case away from vacuum where the system is strictly hyperbolic. In present paper, we prove that the L entropy weak solution with vacuum, obtained by the compensated compactness theory, converges strongly in space to the unique similarity solution of the related PME, as time goes to infinity.  相似文献

We look for positive solutions of the standing-wave nonlinear Schrödinger equation ΔuV(x)u+up=0 in RN, with u(x)→0 as |x|→+∞. We prove that if V(x)=o(−2|x|) as |x|→+∞, then for N?4 and this problem admits a continuum of solutions. If in addition we have, for instance, V(x)=O(|x|μ) with μ>N, then this result still holds provided that N?3 and . We consider the Tikhonov-like dynamics where A is a maximal monotone operator on a Hilbert space and the parameter function ε(t) tends to 0 as t→∞ with . When A is the subdifferential of a closed proper convex function f, we establish strong convergence of u(t) towards the least-norm minimizer of f. In the general case we prove strong convergence towards the least-norm point in A−1(0) provided that the function ε(t) has bounded variation, and provide a counterexample when this property fails.  相似文献

We study the nonlinear parabolic equation , in Rn×(0,∞) with boundary condition u(x,0)=u0(x), not necessarily bounded function. The nonlinearity φ((x,t),u) is required to satisfy some conditions related to the parabolic Kato class P(Rn) while allowing existence of positive solutions of the equation and continuity of such solutions. Let be a bounded convex domain, A−∞(G) be the (DFS)-space of all holomorphic functions of polynomial growth on G and A(G) be the Fréchet space of C-functions on closure of G which are holomorphic on G. With the help of the Laplace transform we describe the strong dual of A−∞(G) and prove that A−∞(G) is the unique (DFS)-space H such that the space A(G) is contained in H, H is embedded continuously in A−∞(G) and H is invariant under differentiation.  相似文献

Let sR, τ∈[0,∞), p∈(1,∞) and q∈(1,∞]. In this paper, we introduce a new class of function spaces which unify and generalize the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with both p∈(1,∞) and p=∞ and Q spaces. By establishing the Carleson measure characterization of Q space, we then determine the relationship between Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and Q spaces, which answers a question posed by Dafni and Xiao in [G. Dafni, J. Xiao, Some new tent spaces and duality theorem for fractional Carleson measures and Qα(Rn), J. Funct. Anal. 208 (2004) 377-422]. Moreover, via the Hausdorff capacity, we introduce a new class of tent spaces and determine their dual spaces , where sR, p,q∈[1,∞), max{p,q}>1, , and t denotes the conjugate index of t∈(1,∞); as an application of this, we further introduce certain Hardy-Hausdorff spaces and prove that the dual space of is just when p,q∈(1,∞).  相似文献
