The product of two real spectral triples and , the first of which is necessarily even, was defined by A.Connes as given by and, in the even-even case, by . Generically it is assumed that the real structure obeys the relations , , , where the -sign table depends on the dimension n modulo 8 of the spectral triple. If both spectral triples obey Connes' >-sign table, it is seen that their product, defined in the straightforward way above, does not necessarily obey this -sign table. The two-dimensional massive Thirring model is described as the integrability condition of a pair of commuting completely integrable isospectral Hamiltonian flows in the dual (2)+* of the positive part (2)+ of the twisted loop algebra (2). The Pauli exclusion principle was tested by searching with accelerator mass spectrometry for non-Paulian atoms with three electrons in theK-shell and for non-Paulian nuclei with three protons or three neutrons in the nuclear 1 s1/2 shell. For non-Paulian atoms of and the following limits have been obtained: and . For non-Paulian nuclei of and with three protons or three neutrons, respectively, in the nuclear 1 s1/2 shell the following limits have been measured: for a range of proton separation energies of between 0 and 50 MeV and for neutron separation energies between 0 and 32 MeV. The result for5Li is used to deduce a limit for the probability 2/2 of finding two colliding protons in the symmetric state with respect to exchange to be 2/2<>–32.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. P. In analogy to the KP theory, the second Poisson structure for the dispersionless KP hierarchy can be defined on the space of commutative pseudodifferential operators . The reduction of the Poisson structure to the symplectic submanifold gives rise to W-algebras. In this Letter, we discuss properties of this Poisson structure, its Miura transformation and reductions. We are particularly interested in the following two cases: (a) L is pure polynomial in p with multiple roots and (b) L has multiple poles at finite distance. The w-algebra corresponding to the case (a) is defined as , where means the multiplicity of roots and to the case (b) is defined by where is the multiplicity of poles. We prove that -algebra is isomorphic via a transformation to U(1) with m= . We also give the explicit free fields representations for these W-algebras.  相似文献

Given a simple, simply laced, complex Lie algebra corresponding to the Lie group G, let be thesubalgebra generated by the positive roots. In this Letter we construct aBV algebra whose underlying graded commutative algebra is given by the cohomology, with respect to , of the algebra of regular functions on G with values in . We conjecture that describes the algebra of allphysical (i.e., BRST invariant) operators of the noncritical string. We present empirical relations that connect the dimensionless ratios of low energy fermion masses for the charged lepton, up-type quark and down-type quark sectors and the CKM elements: and . Explaining these relations from first principles imposes strong constraints on the search for the theory of flavor. We present a simple set of normalized Yukawa matrices, with only two real parameters and one complex phase, which accounts with precision for these mass relations and for the CKM matrix elements and also suggests a simpler parametrization of the CKM matrix. The proposed Yukawa matrices accommodate the measured CP-violation, giving a particular relation between standard model CP-violating phases, . According to this relation the measured value of is close to the maximum value that can be reached, for . In this paper, we study hyperbolic conformal geometry following a Clifford algebraic approach. Similar to embedding an affine space into a one-dimensional higher linear space, we embed the hyperboloid model of the hyperbolic n-space in into . The model is convenient for the study of hyperbolic conformal properties. The universal R-matrix for a class of esoteric (nonstandard) quantum groups q(gl(2N+1)) is constructed as a twisting of the universal R-matrix S of the Drinfeld–Nimbo quantum algebras. The main part of the twisting cocycle is chosen to be the canonical element of an appropriate pair of separated Hopf subalgebras (quantized Borel's (N) q (gl(2N+1))), providing the factorization property of . The charge exchange reaction of negative muons from the atom to oxygen has been measured in gaseous mixtures of H2 + O2. The measurements were performed at three different relative oxygen concentrations ranging from 0.2% to 0.8% and total pressures 3.5–15 bar. A mean transfer rate of , describing the transfer from the ground state of thermalized atoms to oxygen, was determined. In order to investigate the energy dependence of the transfer rate, Monte Carlo simulations of the thermalization and the muon transfer were carried out. The comparison of measured and simulated time spectra yielded an epithermal transfer rate =3.9 1011 s-1 in the energy interval 0.12–0.22 eV. The analysis with the model of Two components shows that all measured time spectra can be reproduced with the same set of parameters.  相似文献

In the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), we study the light Higgs boson radiation off a light-chargino pair in the process at linear colliders with GeV. We analyze cross sections in the regions of the MSSM parameter space where the process cannot proceed via on-shell production and subsequent decay of either heavier charginos or the pseudoscalar Higgs boson A. Cross sections up to a few fb are allowed, according to present experimental limits on the Higgs boson, chargino and sneutrino masses. We construct embeddings of boundary algebras into ZF algebras . Since it is known that these algebras are the relevant ones for the study of quantum integrable systems (with boundaries for and without for ), this connection allows to make the link between different approaches of the systems with boundaries. The construction uses the well-bred vertex operators built recently, and is classified by reflection matrices. It relies only on the existence of an R-matrix obeying a unitarity condition, and as such can be applied to any infinite dimensional quantum group.  相似文献

The influence of torsional vibrations of fluorophore molecule on polarization spectra and absorption/emission vibronic band profiles of isotropic dye solutions has been considered. Basing on the concept of luminescence center (LC) and assuming that (1) electronic transitions in the LC may be assisted by torsion-vibrational excitations, and (2) reorientations of the LC can be described in terms of Stokes–Einstein rotational diffusion, the formula for time-dependent emission anisotropy, as a function of excitation, , and observation, frequencies has been obtained. It comprises depolarization by combined reorientations of the fluorophore molecule, i.e., its torsional vibrations with respect to the LC, and rotational diffusion of the LC. This approach is a generalization of the appropriate results obtained earlier by Ehrenberg and Rigler and, independently, by Chuang and Isenthal. The considered model has specific property that the torsional vibrations appear both as depolarizing factor for and as shaping factor for absorption/emission bands, resulting in the variation of the emission anisotropy across appropriate band profiles. This is demonstrated graphically using numerical results obtained for a simplified, one-dimensional torsional oscillator. It is also shown that observed absorption and emission spectra of coumarin solutions can be reproduced using this model with appropriate potentials for restoring forces.  相似文献

We study analogues of the Yangian of the Lie algebra for the other classical Lie algebras and . We call them twisted Yangians. They are coideal subalgebras in the Yangian of and admit homomorphisms onto the universal enveloping algebras U( ) and U( ) respectively. In every twisted Yangian we construct a family of maximal commutative subalgebras parametrized by the regular semisimple elements of the corresponding classical Lie algebra. Infrared spectra in the range of 530–1400 cm–1 are presented for tantalum oxide cluster cations (x = 3, 4 and 6). These spectra are obtained via multiple photon dissociation (MPD) spectroscopy of free cluster cations moving in a molecular beam. The IR spectra for are compared to spectra of as well as to the experimental data available for vanadium oxide cluster cations from IR-MPD spectroscopy. For and the IR spectra exhibit very strong similarities (including the band positions), whereas absorption bands in are relatively blue-shifted by about 20–40 cm–1.  相似文献
