By Taylor expansion of Darboux matrix, a new generalized Darboux transformations(DTs) for a(2 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS) equation is derived, which can be reduced to two(1 + 1)-dimensional equation:a modified KdV equation and an NLS equation. With the help of symbolic computation, some higher-order rational solutions and rogue wave(RW) solutions are constructed by its(1, N-1)-fold DTs according to determinants. From the dynamic behavior of these rogue waves discussed under some selected parameters, we find that the RWs and solitons are demonstrated some interesting structures including the triangle, pentagon, heptagon profiles, etc. Furthermore, we find that the wave structure can be changed from the higher-order RWs into higher-order rational solitons by modulating the main free parameter. These results may give an explanation and prediction for the corresponding dynamical phenomena in some physically relevant systems.  相似文献

The prolongation structure methodologies of Wahlquist-Estabrook [H.D. Wahlquist and F.B. Estabrook, {J. Math. Phys.} 16 (1975) 1] for nonlinear differential equations are applied to a more general set of coupled integrable dispersionless system. Based on the obtained prolongation structure, a Lie-Algebra valued connection of a closed ideal of exterior differential forms related to the above system is constructed. A Lie-Algebra representation of some hidden structural symmetries of the previous system, its Bäcklund transformation using the Riccati form of the linear eigenvalue problem and their general corresponding Lax-representation are derived. In the wake of the previous results, we extend the above prolongation scheme to higher-dimensional systems from which a new (2+1)-dimensional coupled integrable dispersionless system is unveiled along with its inverse scattering formulation, which applications are straightforward in nonlinear optics where additional propagating dimension deserves some attention.  相似文献

In this paper, an extended multi-dimensional N-coupled higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NCHNLSE), which can describe the propagation of the ultrashort pulses in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems, is investigated. By the bilinear method, we construct the breather solutions for the extended (1+1), (2+1) and (3+1)-dimensional N-CHNLSE. The rogue waves are derived as a limiting form of breathers with the aid of symbolic computation. The effect of group velocity dispersion (GVD), third-order dispersion (TOD) and nonlinearity on breathers and rogue waves solutions are discussed in the optical communication systems.  相似文献

A higher-order decoupling similar to the first-order Bogolyubov-Tyablikov decoupling is used to find various correlation functions in the paramagnetic region for a Heisenberg ferromagnet. Expressions are given for the susceptibility, the nearest-neighbor correlation, and autocorrelation at the critical point as well as at high temperatures.This paper is based on the first author's Oxford University D. Painleve property and infinite symmetries of the (2+1)-dimensional higher-order Broer-Kaup (HBK) system are studied in this paper. Using the modified direct method, we derive the theorem of general symmetry gro.ups to (2+1)-dimensional HBK system. Based on our theorem, some new forms of solutions are obtained. We obtain Backlund transformation and some new kink-like solitary wave solutions for the generalized Burgers equation in (2 1)-dimensional space,ut 1/2(uδy^-1ux)x-uxx=0,by using the extended homogeneous balance method.As is well known,the introduction of the concept of dromions (the exponentially localized solutions in (2 1)-dimensional space)has triggered renewed interest in (2 1)-dimensional soliton systems.The solutions obtained are used to show that the variable ux admits exponentially localized solutions rather than the physical field u(x,y,t) itself.In addition,it is shown that the equation passes Painleve test.  相似文献

The Estabrook-Wahlquist prolongation method is applied to the (compact and noncompact) continuous isotropic Heisenberg model in 1 + 1 dimensions. Using a special realization (an algebra of the Kac-Moody type) of the arising incomplete prolongation Lie algebra, a whole family of nonlinear field equations containing the original Heisenberg system is generated.  相似文献

Considering the attractive interaction between two magnons with opposite wave vectors in a Heisenberg ferromagnet, we propose the model of magnon-pairs, which is suitable for low-temperature environment. A dressed magnon is an energy quantum of the magnon-pairs whose energy is a monotonically
increasing function of absolute temperature. Based on the model, we re-investigate the excitation mechanism and thermodynamic properties of the Heisenberg ferromagnet. The correction factore(0) plays an important role in studying the low-temperature properties of a ferromagnet.  相似文献

We present the perturbation theory for lattice magnon fields of the DD-dimensional O(3) Heisenberg ferromagnet. The effective Hamiltonian for the lattice magnon fields is obtained starting from the effective Lagrangian, with two dominant contributions that describe magnon–magnon interactions identified as a usual gradient term for the unit vector field and a part originating in the Wess–Zumino–Witten term of the effective Lagrangian. Feynman diagrams for lattice scalar fields with derivative couplings are introduced, on the basis of which we investigate the influence of magnon–magnon interactions on magnon self-energy and ferromagnet free energy. We also comment appearance of spurious terms in low-temperature series for the free energy by examining magnon–magnon interactions and internal symmetry of the effective Hamiltonian (Lagrangian).  相似文献

We correct an inaccurate result of previous work on the Feynman propagator in position space of a free Dirac field in(3+1)-dimensional spacetime; we derive the generalized analytic formulas of both the scalar Feynman propagator and the spinor Feynman propagator in position space in arbitrary(D+1)-dimensional spacetime; and we further find a recurrence relation among the spinor Feynman propagator in(D+l)-dimensional spacetime and the scalar Feynman propagators in(D+1)-,(D-1)-and(D+3)-dimensional spacetimes.  相似文献

With the help of a Lie algebra of a reductive homogeneous space G/K, where G is a Lie group and K is a resulting isotropy group, we introduce a Lax pair for which an expanding(2+1)-dimensional integrable hierarchy is obtained by applying the binormial-residue representation(BRR) method, whose Hamiltonian structure is derived from the trace identity for deducing(2+1)-dimensional integrable hierarchies, which was proposed by Tu, et al. We further consider some reductions of the expanding integrable hierarchy obtained in the paper. The first reduction is just right the(2+1)-dimensional AKNS hierarchy, the second-type reduction reveals an integrable coupling of the(2+1)-dimensional AKNS equation(also called the Davey-Stewartson hierarchy), a kind of(2+1)-dimensional Schr¨odinger equation, which was once reobtained by Tu, Feng and Zhang. It is interesting that a new(2+1)-dimensional integrable nonlinear coupled equation is generated from the reduction of the part of the(2+1)-dimensional integrable coupling, which is further reduced to the standard(2+1)-dimensional diffusion equation along with a parameter. In addition, the well-known(1+1)-dimensional AKNS hierarchy, the(1+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation are all special cases of the(2+1)-dimensional expanding integrable hierarchy. Finally, we discuss a few discrete difference equations of the diffusion equation whose stabilities are analyzed by making use of the von Neumann condition and the Fourier method. Some numerical solutions of a special stationary initial value problem of the(2+1)-dimensional diffusion equation are obtained and the resulting convergence and estimation formula are investigated.  相似文献

The ground state of the J 1-J 2 Heisenberg model with arbitrary signs of exchange is studied for spin S = 1/2 in the case of the two-dimensional (2D) square lattice. The states with different types of spin long-range order (antiferromagnetic checkerboard, stripe, collinear ferromagnetic) as well as the disordered spin liquid states are described in the framework of one analytical approach. In particular, it is shown that the phase transition between the ferromagnetic spin liquid and the ferromagnet with long-range order is of the second order. In the vicinity of such transition, we have found the ferromagnetic state with a rapidly varying condensate function.  相似文献
