We consider a boundary value problem for a fourth-order equation on a graph modeling elastic deformations of a plane rod system with conditions of rigid connection at the vertices. We consider a mixed problem with Dirichlet homogeneous boundary conditions and nonzero initial conditions for a nonlinear coupled evolution system of equations in a domain unbounded in time. In the numerical solution of the diffraction problem for an acoustic plane wave in a half-plane with a cut, boundary conditions that are equivalent to the radiation conditions at infinity are set in a neighborhood of the points of the cut. Joining the physical boundary conditions on the cut, a closing set of equations of order 4N, where N is the number of grid points on the cut, is obtained. The so-called Green’s grid function for the half-plane is used, which makes it possible to pass from one grid layer to another one for the solution satisfying certain conditions at infinity.  相似文献

The Schrödinger operator in a thin infinite strip with PT -symmetric boundary conditions and a localized potential is studied. The case of a virtual level on the threshold of the essential spectrum of an efficient one-dimensional operator is considered. Sufficient conditions for the transformation of this level into an isolated eigenvalue are obtained and the first terms of the asymptotic expansion are calculated for this eigenvalue. Sufficient conditions for the absence of such an eigenvalue are also obtained.  相似文献

Necessary conditions are derived for a black box to be representable as a dynamical system governed by ordinary differential equations. Sufficiency of these conditions depends primarily on the set of inputs. It is shown that the conditions are indeed sufficient for the set of constant inputs and under suitable hypotheses for the set of smooth inputs. We consider linear fractional differential operator equations involving the Caputo derivative. The goal of this paper is to establish conditions for the unique solvability of the inverse Cauchy problem for these equations. We use properties of the Mittag-Leffler function and the calculus of sectorial operators in a Banach space. For equations with operators in a general form we obtain sufficient conditions for the unique solvability, and for equations with densely defined sectorial operators we obtain necessary and sufficient unique solvability conditions.  相似文献

The problem of incidence of an acoustic wave on the interface between media with impedance interface conditions is considered. An approximate method is proposed for calculating the result of diffraction under such conditions. The method is implemented as a computer program, and the result is compared with the analytical solution for the impedance conditions and with the calculations by a program for the contact boundary conditions. Good accuracy of the method and high computation speed are demonstrated, which allow one to apply the proposed approximate method to solving both direct and inverse problems of acoustics.  相似文献

A symmetrical rigid body with a spherical base, carrying a rotor and having a cavity in the shape of an ellipsoid of revolution, completely filled with an ideal incompressible liquid in uniform vortex motion, is moving along an absolutely rough plane. It is shown that this system admits of an energy integral, Jellett's integral, the integral of constant vorticity and a geometric integral. The construction of a Lyapunov function as a linear combination of first integrals [1] yields the sufficient conditions for the rotation of the gyrostat about the vertically positioned axis of symmetry to be stable. The conditions for the gyrostat's rotation to be unstable are found. It is shown that the rotor may prove to have either a stabilizing or destabilizing effect on the system and that the gyrostat admits of motions of the type of regular precession. The sufficient conditions for the stability of these motions are obtained.  相似文献

The difference method is used for obtaining a solution of the problem of unsteady motion of a drop in a stream, taking into account its deformation under conditions of axial symmetry. The fluid inside and outside the drop is assumed viscous and incompressible. The stable forms of drop are represented for various Reynolds and Weber numbers of external stream. By analyzing the conditions for normal stresses at the drop boundary, the critical Weber number was obtained, which establishes the conditions of existence of equilibrium form of the drop.  相似文献

The problem of the optimal control of pulse-frequency-modulated (PFM) systems is investigated in this paper. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the linear-quadratic loss PFM case are developed. The basic problem with such conditions involves the computational implementation of the derived results. Here, sufficient conditions for the discrete-time case (DPFM) are obtained to provide ease in computation. It is shown that the conditions, which are developed under total variation constraints, can be utilized to define a simple scheme for solution of the resulting two-point boundary-value problem.  相似文献

We produce the equations of small deformations superimposed upon large for materially uniform but inhomogeneous bodies and specialize to an isotropic material and to a homogeneous finite elastic deformation. By assuming the small deformation to be a plane wave, a set of equations for the amplitude of the wave is produced which is accompanied by an additional set of conditions. By requiring a non-trivial solution for the amplitude, we obtain the secular equation and from it a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for having a real wave speed. The second set of conditions that have to be satisfied is due to the materials inhomogeneity. Essentially, the present analysis enhances the approach of Hayes and Rivlin for materially uniform but inhomogeneous bodies. The outcome is that for such bodies the restrictions on the constitutive law for having real wave speeds for an isotropic material subjected to a pure homogeneous deformation involves the field of the inhomogeneity as well.  相似文献

A numerical method for solving the plane problem of determining the stress state of a tube of arbitrary section immersed in a homogeneous incompressible liquid is proposed. The change from the boundary conditions for this problem to the boundary conditions for a biharmonic stress function is carried out, which enables the algorithm for solving boundary value problems in the case of a polyharmonic function developed earlier to be used to solve the problem under consideration. It is shown that the boundary conditions for doubly-connected domains contain three unknown constants. The conditions for finding these constants in a form that is convenient for the implementation of a numerical algorithm are obtained. Tubes with sections in the form of concentric, eccentric and elliptic rings are considered as examples.  相似文献
