We report in this work the preparation of thin films of ZnO nanocrystals synthesized and dispersed in polymethylmethacrylate using a easy route and deposited in class substrate by spin coating technique. Their structural and optical properties were investigated by X-ray, absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The XRD patterns exhibit sharp peaks at $2\uptheta $ corresponding to the hexagonal (wurtzite) phase diffraction planes. The optically characterization, exhibit a wide absorption band in the range of the study and a large emission band with three peaks at 481.5, 531.09 and at 671.28 nm.The crystallites radius (R) was estimated by applying the effective mass approximation model and was about 1.8 nm. From measurements of second order susceptibilities using harmonic generation technique at $\lambda = 1,064\,\text{ nm }$ in picoseconds regime we deduced $\lambda _\mathrm{eff}^{<2>}$ equal to $5.95\times 10^{-10}$  m/V. Obtained $\lambda _\mathrm{eff}^{<2>}$ was four order of magnitude larger compared with ZnO bulk material (2.5 pm/V).  相似文献

We consider a lattice SU(3) QCD model in 2 + 1 dimensions, with two flavors and 2 × 2 spin matrices. An imaginary time functional integral formulation with Wilson’s action is used in the strong coupling regime, i.e. small hopping parameter ${0 < \kappa \ll 1}$ , and much smaller plaquette coupling ${\beta, 0 < \beta \ll \kappa}$ . In this regime, it is known that the low-lying energy-momentum spectrum contains isolated dispersion curves identified with baryons and mesons with asymptotic masses ${m\approx-3\ln\kappa}$ and ${m_m\approx-2\ln\kappa}$ , respectively. We prove the existence of two (labelled by ±) two-baryon bound states for each of the total isospin sectors I = 0,1 and we obtain, in each case, the exact binding energies ${\epsilon_{I\,\pm} }$ (of order ${\kappa^2}$ ) which extend to jointly analytic function in ${\kappa}$ and β. We also prove that these points are the only mass spectrum up to slightly above the bound state masses. Precisely, we show, for ${\alpha_0=\frac 14, \alpha_1=\frac 1{12}, \alpha_2=\frac12, \alpha_3=\frac 34}$ and small ${\delta >0 }$ , that the bound state masses ${2m-\epsilon_{I\,\pm}}$ are the only points in the mass spectrum in ${(0,2m-\epsilon_{I\,\pm}+\delta \alpha_I\kappa^2)}$ , for I = 0,1, and in ${(0,2m-(1+\delta)\alpha_I\kappa^2)}$ , for I = 2,3. These results are exact and validate our previous results obtained in a ladder approximation. The method employs suitable two- and four-point correlations with spectral representations and a lattice Bethe-Salpeter equation. For I = 0,1, a quark, antiquark space-range one potential of order ${\kappa^2}$ is found to be the dominant contribution to the two-baryon interaction and the interaction of the individual quark isospins of one baryon with those of the other is described by permanents. A novel spectral free decomposition (but spectral representation motivated, for real κ and β) of the two-point correlation, after performing a complex extension, is a key ingredient in showing the joint analyticity of the binding energy.  相似文献

The Schrödinger  equation for a particle of rest mass $m$ and electrical charge $ne$ interacting with a four-vector potential $A_i$ can be derived as the non-relativistic limit of the Klein–Gordon  equation $\left( \Box '+m^2\right) \varPsi =0$ for the wave function $\varPsi $ , where $\Box '=\eta ^{jk}\partial '_j\partial '_k$ and $\partial '_j=\partial _j -\mathrm {i}n e A_j$ , or equivalently from the one-dimensional  action $S_1=-\int m ds +\int neA_i dx^i$ for the corresponding point particle in the semi-classical approximation $\varPsi \sim \exp {(\mathrm {i}S_1)}$ , both methods yielding the equation $\mathrm {i}\partial _0\varPsi \approx \left( \frac{1}{2m}\eta ^{\alpha \beta }\partial '_{\alpha }\partial '_{\beta } + m + n e\phi \right) \varPsi $ in Minkowski  space–time  , where $\alpha ,\beta =1,2,3$ and $\phi =-A_0$ . We show that these two methods generally yield equations  that differ in a curved background  space–time   $g_{ij}$ , although they coincide when $g_{0\alpha }=0$ if $m$ is replaced by the effective mass $\mathcal{M}\equiv \sqrt{m^2-\xi R}$ in both the Klein–Gordon  action $S$ and $S_1$ , allowing for non-minimal coupling to the gravitational  field, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $\xi $ is a constant. In this case $\mathrm {i}\partial _0\varPsi \approx \left( \frac{1}{2\mathcal{M}'} g^{\alpha \beta }\partial '_{\alpha }\partial '_{\beta } + \mathcal{M}\phi ^{(\mathrm g)} + n e\phi \right) \varPsi $ , where $\phi ^{(\mathrm g)} =\sqrt{g_{00}}$ and $\mathcal{M}'=\mathcal{M}/\phi ^{(\mathrm g)} $ , the correctness of the gravitational  contribution to the potential having been verified to linear order $m\phi ^{(\mathrm g)} $ in the thermal-neutron beam interferometry experiment due to Colella et al. Setting $n=2$ and regarding $\varPsi $ as the quasi-particle wave function, or order parameter, we obtain the generalization of the fundamental macroscopic Ginzburg-Landau equation of superconductivity to curved space–time. Conservation of probability and electrical current requires both electromagnetic gauge and space–time  coordinate conditions to be imposed, which exemplifies the gravito-electromagnetic analogy, particularly in the stationary case, when div ${{\varvec{A}}}=\hbox {div}{{\varvec{A}}}^{(\mathrm g)}=0$ , where ${{\varvec{A}}}^{\alpha }=-A^{\alpha }$ and ${{\varvec{A}}}^{(\mathrm g)\alpha }=-\phi ^{(\mathrm g)}g^{0\alpha }$ . The quantum-cosmological Schrödinger  (Wheeler–DeWitt) equation is also discussed in the $\mathcal{D}$ -dimensional  mini-superspace idealization, with particular regard to the vacuum potential $\mathcal V$ and the characteristics of the ground state, assuming a gravitational  Lagrangian   $L_\mathcal{D}$ which contains higher-derivative  terms up to order $\mathcal{R}^4$ . For the heterotic superstring theory  , $L_\mathcal{D}$ consists of an infinite series in $\alpha '\mathcal{R}$ , where $\alpha '$ is the Regge slope parameter, and in the perturbative approximation $\alpha '|\mathcal{R}| \ll 1$ , $\mathcal V$ is positive semi-definite for $\mathcal{D} \ge 4$ . The maximally symmetric ground state satisfying the field equations is Minkowski  space for $3\le {\mathcal {D}}\le 7$ and anti-de Sitter  space for $8 \le \mathcal {D} \le 10$ .  相似文献

We perform the resummation of large logarithmic corrections to the partonic cross sections for single-inclusive jet production in polarized pp collisions. We reach the next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy for this observable with the corresponding matching to the next-to-leading order calculation performed in the small-cone approximation. We present numerical results for the BNL-RHIC collider at $\sqrt{S}=200$  GeV and at $\sqrt{S}=500$  GeV. We find an enhancement of the spin-dependent cross section, specially at high transverse momentum for the jet, resulting in a rather small increase of the double-spin asymmetry $A^{\mathrm{jet}}_{\mathrm{LL}}$ for this process.  相似文献

Generic model and thorough investigation are proposed for a novel $1\times 2$ 1 × 2 polymer electro-optic (EO) switch based on one-group $2N+1$ 2 N + 1 vertical-turning serial-coupled microrings. For realizing boxlike flat spectrum as well as low crosstalk and insertion loss, resonance order and coupling gaps are optimized. The MRR switches with $N \ge 1$ N ≥ 1 reveal favorable boxlike spectrum as when compared with the simple device with only one microring ( $N = 0$ N = 0 ). For obtaining $<-30\,\text{ dB }$ < - 30 dB crosstalk under through-state, the dependency of switching voltage on $N$ N is determined as $7.19 \times \text{ exp }(-N/0.72) + 1.72\,(\text{ V })$ 7.19 × exp ( - N / 0.72 ) + 1.72 ( V ) . Under the operation voltages of 0 V (drop state) and the predicted switching voltages (through state), the device performances are analyzed, and $1 \le N \le 10$ 1 ≤ N ≤ 10 is required for dropping the insertion loss (drop state) below 10 dB. The crosstalk of the ten devices ( $N = 1-10$ N = 1 - 10 ) are $< -19.5\,\text{ dB }$ < - 19.5 dB under drop state and $< -28.7\,\text{ dB }$ < - 28.7 dB under through state, and the insertion losses of the devices ( $N = 1-10$ N = 1 - 10 ) are $< 9.715\,\text{ dB }$ < 9.715 dB under drop state and $< 1.573\,\text{ dB }$ < 1.573 dB under through state. The device also has ultra-compact footprint size of only 0.33–1.06 mm, which is only 1/10–1/3 of those of our previously reported polymer EO switches based on directional coupler or Mach–Zehnder interferometer structures. Therefore, the proposed device is capable of highly integration onto optical networks-on-chip.  相似文献

Compelling experimental evidences of neutrino oscillations and their implication that neutrinos are massive particles have given neutrinoless double beta decay ( \(\beta \beta 0\nu \) ) a central role in astroparticle physics. In fact, the discovery of this elusive decay would be a major breakthrough, unveiling that neutrino and antineutrino are the same particle and that the lepton number is not conserved. It would also impact our efforts to establish the absolute neutrino mass scale and, ultimately, understand elementary particle interaction unification. All current experimental programs to search for \(\beta \beta 0\nu \) are facing with the technical and financial challenge of increasing the experimental mass while maintaining incredibly low levels of spurious background. The new concept described in this paper could be the answer which combines all the features of an ideal experiment: energy resolution, low cost mass scalability, isotope choice flexibility and many powerful handles to make the background negligible. The proposed technology is based on the use of arrays of silicon detectors cooled to 120 K to optimize the collection of the scintillation light emitted by ultra-pure crystals. It is shown that with a 54 kg array of natural CaMoO \(_4\) scintillation detectors of this type it is possible to yield a competitive sensitivity on the half-life of the \(\beta \beta 0\nu \) of \(^{100}\) Mo as high as \(\sim \) \(10^{24}\)  years in only 1 year of data taking. The same array made of \(^{40}\) Ca \(^{\mathrm {nat}}\) MoO \(_4\) scintillation detectors (to get rid of the continuous background coming from the two neutrino double beta decay of \(^{48}\) Ca) will instead be capable of achieving the remarkable sensitivity of \(\sim \) \(10^{25}\)  years on the half-life of \(^{100}\) Mo \(\beta \beta 0\nu \) in only 1 year of measurement.  相似文献

By the use of complete orthonormal sets of ${\psi ^{(\alpha^{\ast})}}$ -exponential type orbitals ( ${\psi ^{(\alpha^{\ast})}}$ -ETOs) with integer (for α * = α) and noninteger self-frictional quantum number α *(for α * ≠ α) in standard convention introduced by the author, the one-range addition theorems for ${\chi }$ -noninteger n Slater type orbitals ${(\chi}$ -NISTOs) are established. These orbitals are defined as follows $$\begin{array}{ll}\psi _{nlm}^{(\alpha^*)} (\zeta ,\vec {r}) = \frac{(2\zeta )^{3/2}}{\Gamma (p_l ^* + 1)} \left[{\frac{\Gamma (q_l ^* + )}{(2n)^{\alpha ^*}(n - l - 1)!}} \right]^{1/2}e^{-\frac{x}{2}}x^{l}_1 F_1 ({-[ {n - l - 1}]; p_l ^* + 1; x})S_{lm} (\theta ,\varphi )\\ \chi _{n^*lm} (\zeta ,\vec {r}) = (2\zeta )^{3/2}\left[ {\Gamma(2n^* + 1)}\right]^{{-1}/2}x^{n^*-1}e^{-\frac{x}{2}}S_{lm}(\theta ,\varphi ),\end{array}$$ where ${x=2\zeta r, 0<\zeta <\infty , p_l ^{\ast}=2l+2-\alpha ^{\ast}, q_l ^{\ast}=n+l+1-\alpha ^{\ast}, -\infty <\alpha ^{\ast} <3 , -\infty <\alpha \leq 2,_1 F_1 }$ is the confluent hypergeometric function and ${S_{lm} (\theta ,\varphi )}$ are the complex or real spherical harmonics. The origin of the ${\psi ^{(\alpha ^{\ast})} }$ -ETOs, therefore, of the one-range addition theorems obtained in this work for ${\chi}$ -NISTOs is the self-frictional potential of the field produced by the particle itself. The obtained formulas can be useful especially in the electronic structure calculations of atoms, molecules and solids when Hartree–Fock–Roothan approximation is employed.  相似文献

We prove that self-avoiding walk on ${\mathbb{Z}^d}$ is sub-ballistic in any dimension d ≥ 2. That is, writing ${\| u \|}$ for the Euclidean norm of ${u \in \mathbb{Z}^d}$ , and ${\mathsf{P_{SAW}}_n}$ for the uniform measure on self-avoiding walks ${\gamma : \{0, \ldots, n\} \to \mathbb{Z}^d}$ for which γ 0 = 0, we show that, for each v > 0, there exists ${\varepsilon > 0}$ such that, for each ${n \in \mathbb{N}, \mathsf{P_{SAW}}_n \big( {\rm max}\big\{\| \gamma_k \| : 0 \leq k \leq n\big\} \geq vn \big) \leq e^{-\varepsilon n}}$ .  相似文献

The paper reports on photoelectrical performance of the mid-wave infrared (MWIR) (111) HgCdTe high operating temperature detector for the fast response conditions. Detector structure was simulated with software APSYS by Crosslight Inc. The detailed analysis of the time response as a function of device architecture and applied voltage was performed pointing out optimal working conditions. The time response of the MWIR HgCdTe detector with 50 % cut-off wavelength of \(\lambda _{c} \approx 5.3\, \upmu \hbox {m}\) at \(T = 200\)  K was estimated at the level of \(\tau _{s} \approx \) 2,500 ps for \(V = 100\)  mV and series resistance \(R_{Series} = 510\,\Omega \) . The series resistance’s reduction enables to reach \(\tau _{s}\approx 60\!-\!500\)  ps.  相似文献

Since publication of M.M. Block in Eur. Phys. J. C 65, 1 (2010), we have discovered that the algorithm of Block (2010) does not work if g(s)→0 less rapidly than 1/s, as s→∞. Although we require that g(s)→0 as s→∞, it can approach 0 as ${1\over s^{\beta}}$ , with 0<β<1, and still be a proper Laplace transform. In this note, we derive a new numerical algorithm for just such cases, and test it for $g(s)={\sqrt{\pi}\over \sqrt{s}}$ , the Laplace transform of ${1\over\sqrt{v}}$ .  相似文献

A diamond detector of 3D architecture without any metallization is developed for spectroscopy of ionizing radiation and single particles detection. The carbon electrode system was fabricated using a femtosecond infrared laser ( $\lambda $ = 1,030 nm) to induce graphitization on the surface and inside 4.0  $\times $  4.0  $\times $  0.4 mm $^{3}$ single-crystal chemical vapor deposition diamond slab, resulting in an array of 84 buried graphite pillars of 30  $\upmu $ m diameter formed orthogonally to the surface and connected by surface graphite strips. Sensitivity to ionizing radiation with $^{90}$ Sr $\upbeta $ -source has been measured for the 3D detector and high charge collection efficiency is demonstrated.  相似文献

The prototype of a $\bar{K}$ nuclear cluster, K ???pp, has been investigated using effective $\bar{K}N$ potentials based on chiral SU(3) dynamics. Variational calculation shows a bound state solution with shallow binding energy B(K ???pp)?=?20±3 MeV and broad mesonic decay width $\Gamma(\bar{K}NN \rightarrow \pi Y N)=40$ –70 MeV. The $\bar{K}N(I=0)$ pair in the K ???pp system exhibits a similar structure as the Λ(1405). We have also estimated the dispersive correction, p-wave $\bar{K}N$ interaction, and two-nucleon absorption width.  相似文献

In this paper we study the Liouville-type properties for solutions to the steady incompressible Euler equations with forces in ${\mathbb {R}^N}$ . If we assume “single signedness condition” on the force, then we can show that a ${C^1 (\mathbb {R}^N)}$ solution (v, p) with ${|v|^2+ |p| \in L^{\frac{q}{2}}(\mathbb {R}^N),\,q \in (\frac{3N}{N-1}, \infty)}$ is trivial, v = 0. For the solution of the steady Navier–Stokes equations, satisfying ${v(x) \to 0}$ as ${|x| \to \infty}$ , the condition ${\int_{\mathbb {R}^3} |\Delta v|^{\frac{6}{5}} dx < \infty}$ , which is stronger than the important D-condition, ${\int_{\mathbb {R}^3} |\nabla v|^2 dx < \infty}$ , but both having the same scaling property, implies that v = 0. In the appendix we reprove Theorem 1.1 (Chae, Commun Math Phys 273:203–215, 2007), using the self-similar Euler equations directly.  相似文献

Observing light-by-light scattering at the large hadron collider (LHC) has received quite some attention and it is believed to be a clean and sensitive channel to possible new physics. In this paper, we study the diphoton production at the LHC via the process \({{pp}}\rightarrow {{p}}\gamma \gamma {{p}}\rightarrow {{p}}\gamma \gamma {{p}}\) through graviton exchange in the large extra dimension (LED) model. Typically, when we do the background analysis, we also study the double Pomeron exchange of \(\gamma \gamma \) production. We compare its production in the quark–quark collision mode to the gluon–gluon collision mode and find that contributions from the gluon–gluon collision mode are comparable to the quark–quark one. Our result shows, for extra dimension \(\delta =4\) , with an integrated luminosity \(\mathcal{L} = 200\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}\) at the 14 TeV LHC, that diphoton production through graviton exchange can probe the LED effects up to the scale \({M}_{S}=5.06 (4.51, 5.11)\,\mathrm{TeV}\) for the forward detector acceptance \(\xi _1 (\xi _2, \xi _3)\) , respectively, where \(0.0015<\xi _1<0.5\) , \(0.1<\xi _2<0.5\) , and \(0.0015<\xi _3<0.15\) .  相似文献

We present an extensive study of the underlying structure of femtosecond laser-induced nanogratings in fused silica. To explore the evolution of the three-dimensional structure of the nanopores and cracks, of which the nanogratings consist, we performed small angle X-ray scattering measurements as well as focused ion beam milling and scanning electron microscopy. Our results show that cracks with dimensions of (280  $\times $  25  $\times $  380) nm $^{3}$ and nanopores with typical diameters of (30  $\times $  25  $\times $  75) nm $^{3}$ are formed independent of various illumination parameters. With increasing number of laser pulses the smaller pores fuse to larger structures. Furthermore, the data suggest a cross-sectional change of the pores from cuboidal to ellipsoidal.  相似文献

We report on absolute line strength measurements of P(1), R(0) and R(1) singlet lines in the \(3.3\,\upmu\hbox {m}\,\nu _{3}\) (C–H stretching) band of methane \(^{12}\hbox {CH}_4\) at reference temperature \(T=296\)  K. Line strength measurements are performed at low pressure \((P \le 1\hbox { Torr})\) using direct absorption spectroscopy technique based on a widely tunable continuous-wave singly resonant optical parametric oscillator. The \(1\sigma \) overall accuracy in line strength determinations ranges between 7 and 8 % mostly limited by pressure and frequency measurements. A comparison with previous reported values is made. Our results show good agreement with the HITRAN 2012 database.  相似文献

We analyze the impact of data from the full Run 1 of the LHC at 7 and 8 TeV on the CMSSM with \(\mu > 0\) and \(<0\) and the NUHM1 with \(\mu > 0\) , incorporating the constraints imposed by other experiments such as precision electroweak measurements, flavour measurements, the cosmological density of cold dark matter and the direct search for the scattering of dark matter particles in the LUX experiment. We use the following results from the LHC experiments: ATLAS searches for events with \({E\!\!/}_{T}\) accompanied by jets with the full 7 and 8 TeV data, the ATLAS and CMS measurements of the mass of the Higgs boson, the CMS searches for heavy neutral Higgs bosons and a combination of the LHCb and CMS measurements of \(\mathrm{BR}(B_s \rightarrow \mu ^+\mu ^-)\) and \(\mathrm{BR}(B_d \rightarrow \mu ^+\mu ^-)\) . Our results are based on samplings of the parameter spaces of the CMSSM for both \(\mu >0\) and \(\mu <0\) and of the NUHM1 for \(\mu > 0\) with 6.8 \(\times 10^6\) , 6.2 \(\times 10^6\) and 1.6 \(\times 10^7\) points, respectively, obtained using the MultiNest tool. The impact of the Higgs-mass constraint is assessed using FeynHiggs 2.10.0, which provides an improved prediction for the masses of the MSSM Higgs bosons in the region of heavy squark masses. It yields in general larger values of \(M_h\) than previous versions of FeynHiggs, reducing the pressure on the CMSSM and NUHM1. We find that the global \(\chi ^2\) functions for the supersymmetric models vary slowly over most of the parameter spaces allowed by the Higgs-mass and the \({E\!\!/}_{T}\) searches, with best-fit values that are comparable to the \(\chi ^2/\mathrm{dof}\) for the best Standard Model fit. We provide 95 % CL lower limits on the masses of various sparticles and assess the prospects for observing them during Run 2 of the LHC.  相似文献

In this article, we study the critical dissipative surface quasi-geostrophic equation (SQG) in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ R 2 . Motivated by the study of the homogeneous statistical solutions of this equation, we show that for any large initial data θ 0 liying in the space ${\Lambda^{s} (\dot{H}^{s}_{uloc}(\mathbb{R}^2)) \cap L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^2)}$ Λ s ( H ˙ u l o c s ( R 2 ) ) ∩ L ∞ ( R 2 ) the critical (SQG) has a global weak solution in time for 1/2 <  s <  1. Our proof is based on an energy inequality verified by the equation ${(SQG)_{R,\epsilon}}$ ( S Q G ) R , ? which is nothing but the (SQG) equation with truncated and regularized initial data. By classical compactness arguments, we show that we are able to pass to the limit ( ${R \rightarrow \infty}$ R → ∞ , ${\epsilon \rightarrow 0}$ ? → 0 ) in ${(SQG)_{R,\epsilon}}$ ( S Q G ) R , ? and that the limit solution has the desired regularity.  相似文献

Our recent relativistic mean-field (RMF) calculations of multi?-? $\bar K$ nuclei are briefly reviewed. I discuss the saturation pattern of the $\bar K$ separation energy $B_{\bar K}$ and nuclear densities on increasing the number of antikaons embedded in the nuclear medium. Saturation appears to be a robust feature of multi- $\bar K$ nuclei. Because $B_{\bar K}$ generally does not exceed 200 MeV, it is unlikely that kaon condensation occurs in strong-interaction self-bound strange hadronic matter. Last, I present our calculations of self-bound strange systems made out of neutrons and ${\bar K}^0$ mesons.  相似文献
