Reaction of [Ti(NR)Cl2(py)3] (R=tBu or 2,6-iPr2C6H3) with K(2)[COT] (COT=C8H8) or Li2[COT'] (COT'=1,4-C8H6(SiMe3)2) gave the monomeric complexes [Ti(NR)(eta8-COT)] or [Ti(NR)(eta8-COT')], respectively. The pseudo-two coordinate, "pogo stick" geometry for these complexes is unique in both early transition-metal and cyclooctatetraenyl ligand chemistry. In contrast, reaction of [Ti(N-2,6-Me2C6H3)Cl2(py)3] with K2[COT] gave the mu-imido-bridged dimer [Ti2(mu-N-2,6-Me2C6H3)2(eta8-COT)2]. It appears that as the steric bulk of the imido and C8 ring substituents are decreased, dimerisation becomes more favourable. Aryl imido COT complexes were also prepared by imido ligand exchange reactions between anilines and [Ti(NtBu)(eta(8)-COT)] or [Ti(NtBu)(eta(8)-COT')]. The complexes [Ti(NtBu)(eta(8)-COT)], [Ti(N-2,6-iPr2C6H3)2(eta8-COT)] and [Ti2(mu-N-2,6-Me2C6H3)2(eta8-COT)2] have been crystallographically characterised. The electronic structures of both the monomeric and dimeric complexes have been investigated by using density functional theory (DFT) calculations and gas-phase photoelectron spectroscopy. The most striking aspect of the bonding is that binding to the imido nitrogen atom is primarily through sigma and pi interactions, whereas that to the COT or COT' ring is almost exclusively through delta symmetry orbitals. A DFT-based comparison between the bonding in [Ti(NtBu)(eta8-COT)] and the bonding in the previously reported late transition-metal "pogo stick"complexes [Os(NtBu)(eta6-C6Me6)], [Ir(NtBu)(eta5-C5Me5)] and [Ni(NO)(eta5-C5H5)] has also been undertaken.  相似文献

Synthesis procedures are described for the new stable mixed ligand complexes, [Pd(Hpa)(pa)]Cl, [Pd(pa)(H2O)2]Cl, [Pd(pa)(en)]Cl, [Pd(pa)(bpy)]Cl, [Pd(pa)(phen)Cl], [Pd(pa)(pyq)Cl], cis-[MoO2(pa)2], [Ag(pa)(bpy)], [Ag(pa)(pyq)], trans-[UO2(pa)(pyq)](BPh4) and [ReO(PPh3)(pa)2]Cl (Hpa = 2-piperidine-carboxylic acid, en = ethylene diamine, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, pyq = 2(2′-pyridyl)quinoxaline). Their elemental analyses, conductance, thermal measurements, Raman, IR, electronic, 1H-n.m.r. and mass spectra have been measured and discussed. 2-Piperidine-carboxylic acid and its palladium complexes have been tested as growth inhibitors against Ehrlich ascites tumour cells (EAC) in Swiss albino mice.  相似文献

A series of titanium complexes have been prepared using either salt metathesis or amine elimination reactions. Reacting the potassium salt of Ap*H {Ap*H = N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-[6-(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)pyridin-2-yl]amine} (1) with [TiCl(4)(THF)(2)] results in the formation of a nucleophilic ring-opening product of the coordinated tetrahydrofuran (THF) ligand [Ap*TiCl(2)(OC(4)H(8)Cl)] (7). Alkylation with benzylmagnesium chloride gave rise to the corresponding benzyl complex [Ap*TiBn(2)(OC(4)H(8)Cl)] (8). However, THF ring opening was overcome by adopting an amine elimination route instead of salt metathesis. Mono(aminopyridinato)titanium trichloro complexes were prepared in high yields using [(CH(3))(2)NTiCl(3)], together with the corresponding sterically demanding aminopyridine as the starting material. The synthesized complexes could then be alkylated selectively. These complexes were characterized by spectroscopic methods, and their behavior in olefin polymerization and copolymerization of ethene and propene was explored. These mono(aminopyridinato)titanium trichloro complexes are less active if activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO). However, the activity increases strongly if MAO is replaced by d-MAO ("dry methylaluminoxane"). The catalysts show moderate activity toward propene polymerization, while ethylene-propylene copolymers in high-productivity with separated propene units were observed. The catalysts are also highly active in the co- and terpolymerization of 2-ethylidenenorbornene (ENB) with ethylene or ethylene-propylene, together with a very good incorporation of ENB. In all cases, the activity increases with an increase in the steric bulk of the protecting ligand.  相似文献

A variety of Group 10 metal complexes [MXY(dfppp)], M = Ni, X, Y = Cl, Br, M = Pd, Pt, X, Y = Cl or CH(3), containing the recently reported highly fluorous diphosphine ligand, dfppp, 1,3-bis[di(fluoroponytail)phosphino]propane, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4))(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(3) have been synthesised. They have been characterised by NMR, mass spectrometry and microanalysis, with two platinum complexes, [PtCl(2)(dfppp)] and [PtClMe(dfppp)], structurally characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The highly fluorous nature of the ligands affords the complexes good supercritical CO(2) solubility as measured by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), and has allowed for the copolymerisation of CO and ethylene using [PdClMe(dfppp)] as the catalyst precursor and CO(2) as the solvent. Additionally, PtCl(2) complexes of the new ligands dfppb, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4))(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(4), and dfpop, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4)O)(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(3), have also been prepared and characterised.  相似文献

Reactions of 1,4-dimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L1a) and 1,4-diisopropyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L1b) to form 1-aminopropyl-4,7-di-R-1,4,7-triazacyclononane [R = Me (H2L3a) or Pri (H2L3b)] and 1-(2-aminobenzyl)-4,7-di-R-1,4,7-triazacyclononane [R = Me (H2L5a) or Pri (H2L5b)] are reported. Reaction of H2L3a and H2L5a with [Ti(NMe2)2Cl2] gives the ansa-linked macrocycle-imido complexes [Ti(kappa 4-L3a)Cl2] (5a) and [Ti(kappa 4-L5a)Cl2] (6a), respectively, and NHMe2. Reaction of H2L3a with [Ti(NBut)Cl2(py)3] gives [Ti(NBut)(kappa 3-H2L3a)Cl2] (7), which possesses a pendant alkylamine group that does not undergo amine/tert-butylimido group exchange to give 5a and ButNH2. However, reaction of H2L3b and H2L5b with [Ti(NBut)Cl2(py)3] does give amine/tert-butylimido group exchange to form [Ti(kappa 4-L3b)Cl2] (5b), [Ti(kappa 4-L5b)Cl2] (8b), and ButNH2. The compounds 5a,b and 6a,b are isolobal analogues of group 4 ansa-metallocene complexes and relatives of titanium cyclopentadienyl-amido constrained geometry olefin polymerization catalysts. Reaction of 5b with AgOTf affords [Ti(kappa 4-L3b)(OTf)Cl] (8) as the major product, the crystal structure of which has been determined. Alkylation of 6b by RLi gives the dialkyl derivatives [Ti(kappa 4-L5b)(R)2] [R = Me (9) or CH2SiMe3 (10)]. The ethylene polymerization capability of the compounds 5a,b, 6a,b, and 10 in the presence of methylaluminoxane has been determined and compared to that of [Ti(NBut)(kappa 3-L1a,b)Cl2] (11a,b); in all instances, low yields of high-molecular-weight polymer are obtained.  相似文献

New mononuclear titanium and zirconium imido complexes [M(NR)(R'(2)calix)] [M=Ti, R'=Me, R=tBu (1), R=2,6-C(6)H(3)Me(2) (2), R=2,6-C(6)H(3)iPr(2) (3), R=2,4,6-C(6)H(2)Me(3) (4); M=Ti, R'=Bz, R=tBu (5), R=2,6-C(6)H(3)Me(2) (6), R=2,6-C(6)H(3)iPr(2) (7); M=Zr, R'=Me, R=2,6-C(6)H(3)iPr(2) (8)] supported by 1,3-diorganyl ether p-tert-butylcalix[4]arenes (R'(2)calix) were prepared in good yield from the readily available complexes [MCl(2)(Me(2)calix)], [Ti(NR)Cl(2)(py)(3)], and [Ti(NR)Cl(2)(NHMe(2))(2)]. The crystallographically characterised complex [Ti(NtBu)(Me(2)calix)] (1) reacts readily with CO(2), CS(2), and p-tolyl-isocyanate to give the isolated complexes [Ti[N(tBu)C(O)O](Me(2)calix)] (10), [[Ti(mu-O)(Me(2)calix)](2)] (11), [[Ti(mu-S)(Me(2)calix)](2)] (12), and [Ti[N(tBu)C(O)N(-4-C(6)H(4)Me)](Me(2)calix)] (13). In the case of CO(2) and CS(2), the addition of the heterocumulene to the Ti-N multiple bond is followed by a cycloreversion reaction to give the dinuclear complexes 11 and 12. The X-ray structure of 13.4(C(7)H(8)) clearly establishes the N,N'-coordination mode of the ureate ligand in this compound. Complex 1 undergoes tert-butyl/arylamine exchange reactions to form 2, 3, [Ti(N-4-C(6)H(4)Me)(Me(2)calix)] (14), [Ti(N-4-C(6)H(4)Fc)(Me(2)calix)] (15) [Fc=Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))], and [[Ti(Me(2)calix)](2)[mu-(N-4-C(6)H(4))(2)CH(2)]] (16). Reaction of 1 with H(2)O, H(2)S and HCl afforded the compounds [[Ti(mu-O)(Me(2)calix)](2)] (11), [[Ti(mu-S)(Me(2)calix)](2)] (12), and [TiCl(2)(Me(2)calix)] in excellent yields. Furthermore, treatment of 1 with two equivalents of phenols results in the formation of [Ti(O-4-C(6)H(4)R)(2)(Me(2)calix)] (R=Me 17 or tBu 18), [Ti(O-2,6-C(6)H(3)Me(2))(2)(Me(2)calix)] (19) and [Ti(mbmp)(Me(2)calix)] (20; H(2)mbmp=2,2'-methylene-bis(4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol) or CH(2)([CH(3)][C(4)H(9)]C(6)H(2)-OH)(2)). The bis(phenolate) compounds 17 and 18 with para-substituted phenolate ligands undergo elimination and/or rearrangement reactions in the nonpolar solvents pentane or hexane. The metal-containing products of the elimination reactions are dinuclear complexes [[Ti(O-4-C(6)H(4)R)(Mecalix)](2)] [R=Me (23) or tBu (24)] where Mecalix=monomethyl ether of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene. The products of the rearrangement reaction are [Ti(O-4-C(6)H(4)Me)(2) (paco-Me(2)calix)] (25) and [Ti(O-4-C(6)H(4)tBu)(2)(paco-Me(2)calix)] (26), in which the metallated calix[4]arene ligand is coordinated in a form reminiscent of the partial cone (paco) conformation of calix[4]arene. In these compounds, one of the methoxy groups is located inside the cavity of the calix[4]arene ligand. The complexes 24, 25 and 26 have been crystallographically characterised. Complexes with sterically more demanding phenolate ligands, namely 19 and 20 and the analogous zirconium complexes [Zr(O-4-C(6)H(4)Me)(2)(Me(2)calix)] (21) and [Zr(O-2,6-C(6)H(3)Me(2))(2)(Me(2)calix)] (22) do not rearrange. Density functional calculations for the model complexes [M(OC(6)H(5))(2)(Me(2)calix)] with the calixarene possessing either cone or partial cone conformations are briefly presented.  相似文献

Complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Mn(II), Cd(II), Zn(II), Hg(II) and U(IV)O(2)(2+) with N'-(1-(4-hydroxyphenyl) ethylidene)-2-oxo-2-(phenylamino) acetohydrazide (H(3)OPAH) are reported and have been characterized by various spectroscopic techniques like IR, UV-visible, (1)H NMR and ESR as well as magnetic and thermal (TG and DTA) measurements. It is found that the ligand behaves as a neutral bidentate, monoanionic tridentate or tetradentate and dianionic tetradentate. An octahedral geometry for [Mn(H(3)OPAH)(2)Cl(2)], [Co(2)(H(2)OPAH)(2)Cl(2)(H(2)O)(4)] and [(UO(2))(2)(HOPAH)(OAc)(2)(H(2)O)(2)] complexes, a square planar geometry for [Cu(2)(H(2)OPAH)Cl(3)(H(2)O)]H(2)O complex, a tetrahedral structure for [Cd(H(3)OPAH)Cl(2)], [Zn(H(3)OPAH)(OAc)(2)] and [Hg(H(3)OPAH)Cl(2)]H(2)O complexes. The binuclear [Ni(2)(HOPAH)Cl(2)(H(2)O)(2)]H(2)O complex contains a mixed geometry of both tetrahedral and square planar structures. The protonation constants of ligand and stepwise stability constants of its complexes at 298, 308 and 318 K as well as the thermodynamic parameters are being calculated. The bond lengths, bond angles, HOMO, LUMO and dipole moments have been calculated to confirm the geometry of the ligand and the investigated complexes. Also, thermal properties and decomposition kinetics of all compounds are investigated. The interpretation, mathematical analysis and evaluation of kinetic parameters (E(a), A, ΔH, ΔS and ΔG) of all thermal decomposition stages have been evaluated using Coats-Redfern and Horowitz-Metzger methods.  相似文献

The synthesis of Group IV metal complexes that contain a tetradentate dianionic [OSSO]-carborane ligand [(HOC(6)H(2)tBu(2)-4,6)(2)(CH(2))(2)S(2)C(2 (B(10)H(10))] (1a) is described. Reactions of TiCl(4) and Ti(OiPr)(4) with the [OSSO]-type ligand 1a afford six-coordinated titanium complex [Ti(OC(6)H(2)tBu(2)-4,6)(2)(CH(2))(2)S(2)C(2)(B(10)H(10))Cl(2)] (2a) and four-coordinated titanium complex [Ti(OC(6)H(2)tBu(2)-4,6)(2)(CH(2))(2)S(2)C(2)(B(10)H(10))(OiPr)(2)] (2b), respectively. ZrCl(4) and HfCl(4) were treated with 1a to give six-coordinated zirconium complex [Zr(OC(6)H(2)tBu(2)-4,6)(2)(CH(2))(2)S(2)C(2)(B(10)H(10))Cl(2) (thf)(2)] (2c) and six-coordinated hafnium complex [Hf(OC(6)H(2)tBu(2)-4,6)(2)(CH(2))(2)S(2)C(2)(B(10)H(10))Cl(2)] (2d). All the complexes were fully characterized by IR, NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. In addition, X-ray structure analyses were performed on complexes 2a and 2b and reveal the expected different coordination geometry due to steric hindrance effects. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy was performed on complexes 2c and 2d to describe the coordination chemistry of this ligand around Zr and Hf. Six-coordinated titanium complex 2a showed good activity toward ethylene polymerization as well as toward copolymerization of ethylene with 1-hexene in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as cocatalyst (up to 1060 kg[mol(Ti)](-1) h(-1) in the case of 10 atm of ethylene pressure).  相似文献

Two families of variously-substituted N-pyrrolylphosphino-N'-arylaldimine ligands, 2-(aryl-N=CH)C4H3N-PR2 {R=Ph; R=Pri2N}, have been prepared from the corresponding pyrrolylaldimines . The donor characteristics/basicity of P-N-chelating and have been assessed using a combination of 31P{1H} NMR and IR spectroscopies through study of the magnitudes of 1JSeP for the phosphorus(V) selenides and , and measurement of nu(CO) for the complexes [RhCl(CO)(-kappa2-P,N)], respectively. The synthesis of the palladium(II) complexes [PdCl2(-kappa2-P,N)] was readily achieved from reaction of or with [PdCl2(MeCN)2] in CH2Cl2. X-Ray crystallographic studies of and confirm the chelating nature of the P-N ligands, which adopt a distorted 'envelope' conformation, and highlight the potentially significant steric demands of these metal scaffolds. Reaction of equimolar quantities of with [NiBr2(DME)] in MeCN afforded [NiBr2(-kappa2-P,N)], while the same reaction undertaken in CH2Cl2 with gave rise to the homoleptic bis(pyrrolatoimine) derivative [Ni{2-(mes-N=CH)C4H3N}2] in 45% yield, following P-N bond cleavage. Complex was characterised in the solid-state by X-ray crystallography. No identifiable metal-containing complexes could be obtained on reaction of with a variety of sources of Ni(II). The palladium dichloride complexes and proved inactive in combination with MAO or EtAlCl2 for ethylene polymerisation, and with methanesulfonic acid for CO/ethylene co-polymerisation. Contrastingly, the nickel complexes in combination with 4.5 eq. EtAlCl2 catalysed the formation of butenes and hexenes with moderate activity from ethylene at 1 bar.  相似文献

Ammonolyses of mono(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) titanium(IV) derivatives [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)X3] (X = NMe2, Me, Cl) have been carried out in solution to give polynuclear nitrido complexes. Reaction of the tris(dimethylamido) derivative [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NMe2)3] with excess of ammonia at 80-100 degrees C gives the cubane complex [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)]4(mu3-N)4] (1). Treatment of the trimethyl derivative [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me3] with NH3 at room temperature leads to the trinuclear imido-nitrido complex [[Ti(eta/5-CsMes)(mu-NH)]3(mu3-N)] (2) via the intermediate [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me]2(mu-NH)2] (3). The analogous reaction of [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me3] with 2,4,6-trimethylaniline (ArNH2) gives the dinuclear imido complex [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me])2(mu-NAr)2] (4) which reacts with ammonia to afford [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NH2)]2(mu-NAr)2] (5). Complex 2 has been used, by treatments with the tris(dimethylamido) derivatives [Ti(eta5-C5H5-nRn)(NMe2)3], as precursor of the cubane nitrido systems [[Ti4(eta5-C5Me5)3(eta5-C5H5-nRn)](mu3-N)4] [R = Me n = 5 (1), R = H n = 0 (6), R = SiMe3 n = 1 (7), R = Me n = 1 (8)] via dimethylamine elimination. Reaction of [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl3] or [Ti(eta5-C5Me5)(NMe2)Cl2] with excess of ammonia at room temperature gives the dinuclear complex [[Ti2(eta5-C5Me5)2Cl3(NH3)](mu-N)] (9) where an intramolecular hydrogen bonding and a nonlineal nitrido ligand bridge the "Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl(NH3)" and "Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Cl2" moieties. The molecular structures of [[Ti(eta5-C5Me5)Me]2 (mu-NAr)2] (4) and [[Ti2(eta5-C5Me5)2Cl3(NH3)](mu-N)] (9) have been determined by X-ray crystallographic studies. Density functional theory calculations also have been conducted on complex 9 to confirm the existence of an intramolecular N-H...Cl hydrogen bond and to evaluate different aspects of its molecular disposition.  相似文献

The reaction of phosphanido complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(PPh(2))] [L = CO (1), CNXylyl (2)] with early transition metal halides in high oxidation states has been carried out. New bimetallic niobocene complexes [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(5))] [M = Nb, L = CO (3), L = CNXylyl (4); M = Ta, L = CO (5), L = CNXylyl (6)] have been successfully synthesized by the reaction with [MCl(5)](2) (M = Nb or Ta). In a similar way [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(4))] [M = Ti, L = CO (13), CNXylyl (14); M = Zr, L = CO (15), CNXylyl (16)] were synthesized using MCl(4) (M = Ti or Zr). Solutions of complexes 4-6 in chloroform produced new ionic derivatives [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(H)Ph(2))(L)] [MCl(6)] [M = Nb, L = CO (7), L = CNXylyl (8); M = Ta, L = CO (9), L = CNXylyl (10)]. Ionic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(Cl)Ph(2))(L)] [NbCl(4)O(thf)] [L = CO (11), CNXylyl (12)] were formed from solutions in thf - rapidly in the case of 3 but more slowly for 4. New heterometallic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(μ-PPh(2)){(Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)}] [R = H, L = CO (17), CNXylyl (18); R = CH(3), L = CO (19), CNXylyl (20)] were synthesized by the reaction of 1 or 2 with [Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)] (R = H or CH(3)). All of these compounds were characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, and the molecular structures of 9 and 12 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Eight-coordinate [MX(4)(L-L)(2)] (M = Zr or Hf; X = Cl or Br; L-L = o-C(6)H(4)(PMe(2))(2) or o-C(6)H(4)(AsMe(2))(2)) were made by displacement of Me(2)S from [MX(4)(Me(2)S)(2)] by three equivalents of L-L in CH(2)Cl(2) solution, or from MX(4) and L-L in anhydrous thf solution. The [MI(4)(L-L)(2)] were made directly from reaction of MI(4) with the ligand in CH(2)Cl(2) solution. The very moisture-sensitive complexes were characterised by IR, UV/Vis, and (1)H and (31)P NMR spectroscopy and microanalysis. Crystal structures of [ZrCl(4)[o-C(6)H(4)(AsMe(2))(2)](2)], [ZrBr(4)[-C(6)H(4)(PMe(2))(2)](2)], [ZrI(4)[o-C(6)H(4)(AsMe(2))(2)](2)] and [HfI(4)[o-C(6)H(4)(AsMe(2))(2)](2)] all show distorted dodecahedral structures. Surprisingly, unlike the corresponding Ti(iv) systems, only the eight-coordinate complex was found in each system. In contrast, the ligand o-C(6)H(4)(PPh(2))(2) forms only six-coordinate complexes [MX(4)[-C(6)H(4)(PPh(2))(2)]] which were fully characterised spectroscopically and analytically. Surprisingly the tripodal triarsine, MeC(CH(2)AsMe(2))(3), also produces eight-coordinate [MX(4)[MeC(CH(2)AsMe(2))(3)](2)] in which the triarsines bind as bidentates in a distorted dodecahedral structure. There is no evidence for seven-coordination as found in some thioether systems.  相似文献

The hexaphosphapentaprismane P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4) undergoes specific insertion of the zerovalent platinum fragment [Pt(PPh(3))(2)] into the unique P-P bond between the 5-membered rings to afford [Pt(PPh(3))(2)P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)]. A similar reaction with the Pt(ii) complexes [{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}(2)] and [PtCl(2)(eta(4)-COD)] results in both insertion and chlorine migration reactions. The complexes [Pt(PPh(3))(2)P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)], trans-[PtCl(PMe(3))P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl], cis-,trans-[{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}micro-{P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)}{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}], [{PtClP(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl}(2)] and cis-[PtClP(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl(P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4))] have been structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and multinuclear NMR studies.  相似文献

p-Toluenesulfonamide (p-TsNH2) was successfully employed as an imido ligand precursor in the synthesis of highly air- and moisture-sensitive titanium(IV) and vanadium(IV) complexes. Reaction of M(NMe2)4 (M = Ti, V) with TsNH2 in toluene afforded [M(micro-NTs)(NMe2)2]2 dimer complexes (M = Ti (1), V (2)). By contrast, the reaction carried out in dichloromethane led to [Ti[micro-N,O-NTs]Cl(NMe2)(NHMe2)2]2 (3) and [Ti[micro-N,O-NTs]Cl2(NHMe2)2]n (4) through solvent activation. The same reaction of M(NMe2)4/TsNH2 conducted in the presence of an excess of trimethylchlorosilane produced [V(=NTs)Cl2(NHMe2)2] (5) and [(Me2HN)Cl2Ti(micro2-N-NTs-kappa2N,O)2TiCl2(NHMe2)2] (6). Alternatively, compound 6 has also been prepared from TiCl2(NMe2)2 and TsNH2. 1 was reacted with trimethylchlorosilane to afford the amide complex [Ti[micro-N,O'-N(SiMe3)Ts-kappa3N,O,O']Cl2(NMe2)]2 (7) in which the tosylimide bond has been silylated. Compounds 1-6 represents the first examples of sulfonylimido complexes for titanium and vanadium.  相似文献

By reaction of [TiCl(3)(thf)(3)] with LiC(6)Cl(5), the homoleptic organotitanium(III) derivative [Li(thf)(4)][Ti(III)(C(6)Cl(5))(4)] (1) has been prepared as a paramagnetic (d(1), S = 1/2, g(av) = 1.959(2)), extremely air-sensitive compound. Oxidation of 1 with [N(C(6)H(4)Br-4)(3)][SbCl(6)] gives the diamagnetic (d(0)) organotitanium(IV) species [Ti(IV)(C(6)Cl(5))(4)] (2). Compounds 1 and 2 are also electrochemically related (E(1/2) = 0.05 V). The homoleptic, diamagnetic (d(10)) compounds [N(PPh(3))(2)][Tl(C(6)Cl(5))(4)] (3) and [Sn(C(6)Cl(5))(4)] (4) have also been prepared. Nearly tetrahedral environments have been found for the d(0), d(10), and d(1) metal centers in the molecular structures of compounds 2-4 as well as in that of [Li(thf)(2)(OEt(2))(2)][Ti(III)(C(6)Cl(5))(4)].CH(2)Cl(2) (1') (X-ray diffraction). The reaction of the heavier Group 4 metal halides, MCl(4) (M = Zr, Hf) with LiC(6)Cl(5) in the presence of [NBu(4)]Br gives, in turn, the heteroleptic species [NBu(4)][M(C(6)Cl(5))(3)Cl(2)] (M = Zr (5), Hf (6)). Compounds 5 and 6 are isomorphous and isostructural, with the metal center in a trigonal-bipyramidal (TBPY-5) environment defined by two axial Cl ligands and three equatorial C(6)Cl(5) groups (X-ray diffraction). No redox features are observed for compounds 3-6 in CH(2)Cl(2) solution between -1.6 and +1.6 V.  相似文献

The reactions of PbPh(2)Cl(2) in methanol with acetophenone, salicylaldehyde, pyridine-2-carbaldehyde, 2-acetylpyridine, and 2-benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazones (HATSC, HSTSC, HPyTSC, HAcPyTSC, and HBPyTSC, respectively) were explored. Despite the similarities among these ligands, the reactions afforded solids with very diverse compositions and structural characteristics, which were in most cases analyzed by X-ray diffractometry (as was the structure of the free ligand HBPyTSC). In the complexes [PbPh(2)Cl(2)(HATSC)](2), [PbPh(2)Cl(2)(HSTSC)(2)], [(PbPh(2)Cl(HPyTSC)(2))][PbPh(2)Cl(3)(MeOH)](2), and [PbPh(2)Cl(PyTSC)] the metal atoms are surrounded by more or less distorted octahedral coordination polyhedra; if both strong and weak interactions are considered, the lead atom in [PbPh(2)Cl(AcPyTSC)] has coordination number 7 and distorted pentagonal bipyramidal coordination geometry, while [(PbPh(2)(BPyTSC))(2)(PbPh(2)Cl(4))].2MeOH contains two different types of lead atom, one with octahedral and the other with pentagonal bipyramidal coordination. The complexes (H(2)AcPyTSC)[PbPh(2)Cl(3)] and [PbPh(2)Cl(HAcPyTSC)][PbPh(2)Cl(3)], which were also isolated, could not be crystallized. All these complexes are soluble in DMSO, and the compositions of these solutions were investigated using conductivity measurements and (1)H and (207)Pb NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Treatment of titanyl sulfate in dilute sulfuric acid with 1 equiv of NaL(OEt) (L(OEt)(-) = [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Co{P(O)(OEt)(2)](3)](-)) in the presence of Na(3)PO(4) and Na(4)P(2)O(7) led to isolation of [(L(OEt)Ti)(3)(mu-O)(3)(mu(3-)PO(4))] (1) and [(L(OEt)Ti)(2)(mu-O)(mu-P(2)O(7))] (2), respectively. The structure of 1 consists of a Ti(3)O(3) core capped by a mu(3)-phosphato group. In 2, the [P(2)O(7)](4-) ligands binds to the two Ti's in a mu:eta(2),eta(2) fashion. Treatment of titanyl sulfate in dilute sulfuric acid with NaL(OEt) and 1.5 equiv of Na(2)Cr(2)O(7) gave [(L(OEt)Ti)(2)(mu-CrO(4))(3)] (3) that contains two L(OEt)Ti(3+) fragments bridged by three mu-CrO(4)(2-)-O,O' ligands. Complex 3 can act as a 6-electron oxidant and oxidize benzyl alcohol to give ca. 3 equiv of benzaldehyde. Treatment of [L(OEt)Ti(OTf)(3)] (OTf(-) = triflate) with [n-Bu(4)N][ReO(4)] afforded [[L(OEt)Ti(ReO(4))(2)](2)(mu-O)] (4). Treatment of [L(OEt)MF(3)] (M = Ti and Zr) with 3 equiv of [ReO(3)(OSiMe(3))] afforded [L(OEt)Ti(ReO(4))(3)] (5) and [L(OEt)Zr(ReO(4))(3)(H(2)O)] (6), respectively. Treatment of [L(OEt)MF(3)] with 2 equiv of [ReO(3)(OSiMe(3))] afforded [L(OEt)Ti(ReO(4))(2)F] (7) and [[L(OEt)Zr(ReO(4))(2)](2)(mu-F)(2)] (8), respectively, which reacted with Me(3)SiOTf to give [L(OEt)M(ReO(4))(2)(OTf)] (M = Ti (9), Zr (10)). Hydrolysis of [L(OEt)Zr(OTf)(3)] (11) with Na(2)WO(4).xH(2)O and wet CH(2)Cl(2) afforded the hydroxo-bridged complexes [[L(OEt)Zr(H(2)O)](3)(mu-OH)(3)(mu(3)-O)][OTf](4) (12) and [[L(OEt)Zr(H(2)O)(2)](2)(mu-OH)(2)][OTf](4) (13), respectively. The solid-state structures of 1-3, 6, and 11-13 have been established by X-ray crystallography. The L(OEt)Ti(IV) complexes can catalyze oxidation of methyl p-tolyl sulfide with tert-butyl hydroperoxide. The bimetallic Ti/ Re complexes 5 and 9 were found to be more active catalysts for the sulfide oxidation than other Ti(IV) complexes presumably because Re alkylperoxo species are involved as the reactive intermediates.  相似文献

Several titanium isopropoxide complexes [N,N'-bis(2-oxo-3-R(1)-5-R(2)-phenylmethyl)-N,N'-bis(methylene-p-R(3)-C(6)H(4))-ethylenediamine]Ti(O(i)Pr)(2) [R(1) = t-Bu, R(2) = Me, R(3) = H (1b); R(1) = R(2) = t-Bu, R(3) = H, (2b); R(1) = R(2) = Cl, R(3) = H, (3b), R(1) = t-Bu, R(2) = Me, R(3) = Cl (4b); R(1) = R(2) = t-Bu, R(3) = Cl, (5b); R(1) = R(2) = R(3) = Cl, (6b)] supported over sterically demanding aryloxy based [N(2)O(2)]H(2) ligands have been designed as precatalysts for the ethylene polymerization. Specifically, the 1b-6b complexes, when treated with methylaluminoxane (MAO) under 88 ± 0.5 psi of ethylene at 30 °C for 3 h, produced polyethylene polymers of high molecular weight (M(w) = ca. 7.2-8.3 × 10(5) g mol(-1)) having broad molecular weight distribution (PDI = ca. 13.1-14.6). The 1b-6b complexes were conveniently synthesized from the direct reaction of the [N(2)O(2)]H(2) ligands, 1a-6a, with Ti(O(i)Pr)(4) in 69-86% yield.  相似文献

The non-symmetric imide ligand Hpypzca (N-(2-pyrazylcarbonyl)-2-pyridinecarboxamide) has been deliberately synthesised and used to produce nine first row transition metal complexes: [M(II)(pypzca)(2)], M = Zn, Cu, Ni, Co, Fe; [M(III)(pypzca)(2)]Y, M = Co and Y = BF(4), M = Fe and Y = ClO(4); [Cu(II)(pypzca)(H(2)O)(2)]BF(4), [Mn(II)(pypzca)(Cl)(2)]HNEt(3). These are the first deliberately prepared complexes of a non-symmetric imide ligand. X-ray crystal structures of [Cu(II)(pypzca)(2)]·H(2)O, [Co(II)(pypzca)(2)], [Co(III)(pypzca)(2)]BF(4), [Cu(II)(pypzca)(H(2)O)(2)]BF(4)·H(2)O and [Mn(II)(pypzca)Cl(2)]HNEt(3) show that each of the (pypzca)(-) ligands binds in a meridional fashion via the N(3) donors. In the first three complexes, two such ligands are bound such that the 'spare' pyrazine nitrogen atoms are positioned approximately orthogonally to one another and also to the imide oxygen atoms. In MeCN the [M(II/III)(pypzca)(2)](0/+) complexes, where M = Ni, Co or Fe, exhibit one reversible metal based M(II/III) process and two distinct, quasi-reversible ligand based reduction processes, the latter also observed for M(II) = Zn. [Mn(II)(pypzca)Cl(2)]HNEt(3) displays a quasi-reversible oxidation process in MeCN, along with several irreversible processes. Both copper(II) complexes show only irreversible processes. Variable temperature magnetic measurements show that [Fe(III)(pypzca)(2)]ClO(4) undergoes a gradual spin crossover from partially high spin at 298 K (3.00 BM) to fully low spin at 2 K (1.96 BM), and that [Co(II)(pypzca)(2)] remains high spin from 298 to 4 K. All of the complexes are weakly coloured, other than [Fe(II)(pypzca)(2)] which is dark purple and absorbs strongly in the visible region.  相似文献

The reaction of the ynediamine 1,2-dipiperidinoacetylene (1) with [(η(2)-COE)Cr(CO)(5)], [(THF)W(CO)(5)] and [RuCl(2)(η(6)-cymene)](2) afforded homobimetallic complexes 2a, 2b and 3, in which the diaminoacetylene 1 acts as a bis(aminocarbene) ligand by bridging two complex fragments Cr(CO)(5) (in 2a), W(CO)(5) (in 2b) and RuCl(2)(η(6)-cymene) (in 3). The reaction of 1 with [RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] gave trans-[(1)RuCl(PPh(3))(2)]Cl, [4]Cl, in which the alkyne 1 coordinates as a 4-electron donor ligand. The cation 4 represents a rare example of a square-planar Ru(II) complex with a low-spin ground state (S = 0), and its stability can be ascribed to the strong alkyne-metal π-interaction as confirmed by DFT calculations. Treatment with one or two equivalents of NaBPh(4) in acetonitrile gave [4]BPh(4) and the dicationic [(1)Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](BPh(4))(2), [5](BPh(4))(2). [4]Cl can be used for the preparation of heterobimetallic Ru-Pd bis(aminocarbene) complexes by reaction with [(MeCN)(2)PdCl(2)], resulting in the formation of bimetallic 6 and tetrametallic 7.  相似文献
