This paper describes a simple and a very quick protocol for biaryl synthesis using the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction. A quintessential role of salting‐out agent LiCl was observed in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction that enhanced the reduction rate of Pd (II) to a considerable extent, resulting in the formation of nanosized palladium in a few seconds. The isolated Pd nanoparticles were characterized with X‐ray diffraction, dynamic light scattering, TGA, transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy. The Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction proceeded very well with the in situ‐generated Pd nanocatalysts furnishing the desired biaryl adducts with excellent yields.  相似文献

The one‐pot sequential coupling of benzylamines, boronic esters, and aryl iodides has been investigated. In the presence of an N‐activator, the boronate complex formed from an ortho‐lithiated benzylamine and a boronic ester undergoes stereospecific 1,2‐metalate rearrangement/anti‐SN2′ elimination to form a dearomatized tertiary boronic ester. Treatment with an aryl iodide under palladium catalysis leads to rearomatizing γ‐selective allylic Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling to generate 1,1‐diarylalkanes. When enantioenriched α‐substituted benzylamines are employed, the corresponding 1,1‐diarylalkanes are formed with high stereospecificity.  相似文献

One‐pot halogen dance/Negishi cross‐coupling of readily available 2,5‐dibromothiophenes is described. A lithium diisopropylamide (LDA)‐mediated halogen dance reaction resulted in the formation of thermodynamically stable α‐lithiodibromothiophenes, which were transmetalated with ZnCl2 and subjected to Negishi cross‐coupling to provide the corresponding arylated dibromothiophenes in one pot. The resultant β‐bromo group was much less reactive than the remaining α‐bromo group, which was used in a one‐pot double Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling, enabling facile synthesis of multiply arylated thiophenes.  相似文献

The combination of conventional transition‐metal‐catalyzed coupling (2 e? process) and photoredox catalysis (1 e? process) has emerged as a powerful approach to catalyze difficult cross‐coupling reactions under mild reaction conditions. Reported is a palladium carbodicarbene (CDC) complex that mediates both a Suzuki–Miyaura coupling and photoredox catalysis for C?N bond formation upon visible‐light irradiation. These two catalytic pathways can be combined to promote both conventional transition‐metal‐catalyzed coupling and photoredox catalysis to mediate C?H arylation under ambient conditions with a single catalyst in an efficient one‐pot process.  相似文献

A concise and efficient synthesis of densely substituted novel pyrazoles with alkynyl, aryl and ferrocenyl functionalities is reported, providing a platform for biological studies. The general strategy involves Sonogashira and Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions of easily obtainable 5‐ferrocenyl/phenyl‐4‐iodo‐1‐phenylpyrazoles with terminal alkynes and boronic acids, respectively. The starting 4‐iodopyrazoles were synthesized by electrophilic cyclization of α,β‐alkynic hydrazones with molecular iodine. Sonogashira reactions have been achieved by employing 5 mol% PdCl2(PPh3)2, 5 mol% CuI, excess Et3N and 1.2 equiv. of terminal alkyne, relative to 4‐iodopyrazole, in tetrahydrofuran at 65 °C, while Suzuki–Miyaura reactions have been accomplished using 5 mol% PdCl2(PPh3)2 and 1.4 equiv. of both boronic acid/ester and KHCO3, with respect to 4‐iodopyrazole, in 4:1 dimethylformamide–H2O solution at 110 °C. Both Sonogashira and Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions have proven effective for the synthesis of alkynyl‐, aryl‐ and ferrocenyl‐substituted pyrazoles and demonstrated good tolerance to a diverse range of substituents, including electron‐donating and electron‐withdrawing groups. These coupling approaches could allow for the rapid construction of a library of functionalized pyrazoles of pharmacological interest. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Highly selective synthesis of 1‐substituted (E)‐buta‐1,3‐dienes via palladium‐catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling of (E)‐alkenyl iodides with 4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐2‐vinyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolane ( 1 ) is reported. The vinylboronate pinacol ester ( 1 ) acts as a vinyl building block to show high chemoselectivity for the Suzuki–Miyaura pathway versus Heck coupling in the presence of biphasic conditions (Pd(PPh3)4, aqueous K2CO3, toluene and ethanol). PdPtZn and PdZn nanoparticle (NP) thin films were synthesized by the reduction of [PdCl2(cod)], [PtCl2(cod)] (cod = cis,cis‐1,5‐cyclooctadiene) and [Zn(acac)2] (acac = acetylacetonate) complexes at an oil–water interface. The structure and morphology of the as‐prepared NPs were characterized with X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive analysis of X‐rays. Catalytic activity of the prepared NPs was investigated in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction in H2O–EtOH and various micellar media systems such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (cationic surfactant), sodium dodecylsulfate (anionic surfactant) and Pluronic P123 (non‐ionic surfactant). PdPtZn and PdZn thin films exhibited higher catalytic activity compared to Pd thin film in the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction due to the appropriate interaction between palladium, platinum and zinc metals. Palladium‐catalyzed base‐selective annulation of dibromonaphthalimide to different aryl boronate esters by combined Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling and direct C−H arylation afforded a series of new five‐ and six‐membered ring annulated electron‐poor polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Cesium carbonate (Cs2CO3) as auxiliary base in these C−C coupling cascade reactions led exclusively to six‐membered ring annulation, while the use of organic base diazabicycloundecene (DBU) afforded the corresponding five‐membered ring annulated products. This base‐dependent selective mode of annulation is attributed to different mechanistic pathways directed by the applied base. The selective annulation was revealed by single crystal X‐ray analysis of the respective five‐ and six‐membered ring annulated products. The optical and redox properties of the new polycyclic aromatic dicarboximides were characterized by UV/Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

In this work, an easily obtained procedure was successfully implemented to prepare novel palladium nanoparticles decorated on triethanolammonium chloride ionic liquid‐functionalized TiO2 nanoparticles [TiO2/IL‐Pd]. Different methods were carried out for characterizations of the synthesized nanocatalyst (HR‐TEM, XPS, XRD, FE‐SEM, EDX, FT‐IR and ICP). TiO2/IL‐Pd indicated good catalytic activity for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of arylboronic acid with different aryl halides in aqueous media at ambient temperature. The recycled catalyst was investigated with ICP to amount of Pd leaching after 6 times that had diminished slightly, Thus, was confirmed that the nanocatalyst has a good sustainability for C–C Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction. The catalyst can be conveniently separated by filtration of the reaction mixture and reused for 6 times without significant loss of its activity. It supplies an environmentally benign alternative path to the existing protocols for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

N‐Heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) are of great importance and are powerful ligands for transition metals. A new series of sterically hindered benzimidazole‐based NHC ligands (LHX) ( 2a , 2b , 2c , 2d , 2e , 2f ), silver–NHC complexes ( 3a , 3b , 3c , 3d , 3e , 3f ) and palladium–NHC complexes ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f ) have been synthesized and characterized using appropriate spectroscopic techniques. Studies have focused on the development of a more efficient catalytic system for the Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl chlorides. Catalytic performance of Pd–NHC complexes and in situ prepared Pd(OAc)2/LHX catalysts has been investigated for the Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction under mild reaction conditions in aqueous N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF). These complexes smoothly catalyzed the Suzuki–Miyaura reactions of electron‐rich and electron‐poor aryl chlorides. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A porphyrin‐based polymer with high surface area was synthesized using 5,10,15,20‐tetraphenylporphyrin through a one‐pot Friedel–Crafts alkylation reaction. Pd(II) was successfully supported on this polymer. This strategy provides an easy approach to produce highly stable Pd–porphyrin‐based polymer. The resulting Pd catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopies, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscopies and N2 adsorption–desorption measurements. This porphyrin‐based polymer‐supported Pd was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction in water. The results demonstrated that this Pd catalyst indeed exhibited excellent catalytic activity and recycling performance in water, even for inactive aryl chloride substrate. A new heterogeneous strategy for catalyzing the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction in water is provided.  相似文献

A Pd‐catalyzed cross‐coupling of aryl trifluoroborates with arylsulfonyl chlorides has been successfully achieved. This transformation is a new method for the Suzuki–Miyaura‐type reaction of aryl trifluoroborates via the cleavage of C? S bond, thus providing an alternative synthesis of biaryls. The reported cross‐coupling reactions are tolerant to many common functional groups regardless of electron‐donating or electron‐withdrawing nature, making these transformations attractive alternatives to the traditional Suzuki–Miyaura coupling approaches. In this study the scope of the 1,1‐carboboration reaction was extended to the preparation of mixed heterole‐based conjugated π‐systems. Two arylbis(alkynyl)phosphane starting materials 2 were synthesized bearing two thiophene isomers at the alkyne units and the bulky tipp‐substituent (tipp=2,4,6‐triisopropylphenyl) at the phosphorous atom. The bis(thienylethynyl)phosphanes 2 were converted into the corresponding 2,5‐thienyl‐substituted 3‐borylphospholes 4 in a double 1,1‐carboboration reaction sequence employing the strongly electrophilic B(C6F5)3 reagent under mild reaction conditions. Subsequent Suzuki–Miyaura type cross‐coupling yielded the corresponding 3‐phenylphospholes 7 in a one‐pot procedure from phosphanes 2 in high yields. Phospholes 7 were converted into the respective phosphole oxides 8 . A photophysical characterization of derivatives 7 and 8 was carried out. The results presented here demonstrate the suitability of the 1,1‐carboboration reaction for the preparation of phosphole‐/thiophene‐based, light‐emitting systems.  相似文献

A series of new carbazole‐based N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands have been synthesized in a simple and facile synthetic route and subsequently used in a Pd/carbazole‐based NHC catalytic system, which was found to be effective in catalyzing Heck reactions to provide substituted stilbene derivatives in good yields. Several bioactive stilbenes, including pterostilbene, pinosylvin, trimethoxy resveratrol, and resveratrol, were synthesized in good yields, and a 10 mmol scale‐up was also performed for trimethoxy resveratrol. The synthetic application was also extended by performing a double‐tandem chemoselective Heck reaction followed by Miyaura borylation in a one‐pot procedure to give single‐step access to synthetically useful stilbenyl boronate esters. Similarly, a unique triple‐tandem protocol of a chemoselective Heck reaction/Miyaura borylation/Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction sequence was performed for the one‐pot modification of biologically relevant molecules.  相似文献

This one‐pot, four‐component coupling approach (Suzuki–Miyaura coupling/C?H direct arylation/Knoevenagel condensation) was developed for the rapid synthesis of thiophene‐based organic dyes for dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Seven thiophene‐based, organic dyes of various donor structures with/without the use of a 3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) moiety were successfully synthesized in good yields based on a readily available thiophene boronic acid pinacol ester scaffold (one‐pot, 3‐step, 35–61 %). Evaluation of the photovoltaic properties of the solar cells that were prepared using the synthesized dyes revealed that the introduction of an EDOT structure beside a cyanoacrylic acid moiety improved the short‐circuit current (Jsc) while decreasing the fill factor (FF). The donor structure significantly influenced the open‐circuit voltage (Voc), the FF, and the power conversion efficiency (PCE). The use of a n‐hexyloxyphenyl amine donor, and our originally developed, rigid, and nonplanar donor, both promoted good cell performance (η=5.2–5.6 %).  相似文献

A new process has been developed for the iridium(I)‐catalyzed vinylic C?H borylation of α,β‐unsaturated esters with bis(pinacolato)diboron (B2pin2). These reactions proceeded in octane at temperatures in the range of 80–120 °C to afford the corresponding alkenylboronic compounds in high yields with excellent regio‐ and stereoselectivities. The presence of an aryl ester led to significant improvements in the yields of the acyclic alkenylboronates. Crossover experiments involving deuterated substrates as well as a mixture of stereoisomers confirmed that this reaction proceeds via a 1,4‐addition/β‐hydride elimination mechanism. Notably, this reaction was also used to develop a one‐pot borylation/Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling procedure.  相似文献

Phenyl‐modified natural rubber was prepared in latex stage by bromination of deproteinized natural rubber followed by Suzuki‐Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction. First, the bromination of natural rubber was carried out using N‐bromosuccinimide in latex stage. The bromine atom content increased as amount of N‐bromosuccinimide increased. Second, the allylic bromine atom was replaced with a phenyl group using phenyl boronic acid in the presence of a palladium catalyst, according to the Suzuki‐Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction in latex stage. The resulting products were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Signal at 7.13 ppm was assigned to the phenyl group of the product, while signals at 3.98, 4.14, and 4.44 ppm were assigned to the remaining allylic brominated cis‐1,4‐isoprene units. The estimated phenyl group content and the conversion of the Suzuki‐Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction were 1.32 and 23.7 mol%, respectively. Glass transition temperature (Tg) of deproteinized natural rubber increased from ?62°C to ?46.7°C, when the phenyl group was introduced into the rubber.  相似文献

BCl3‐induced borylative cyclization of aryl‐alkynes possessing ortho‐EMe (E=S, O) groups represents a simple, metal‐free method for the formation of C3‐borylated benzothiophenes and benzofurans. The dichloro(heteroaryl)borane primary products can be protected to form synthetically ubiquitous pinacol boronate esters or used in situ in Suzuki–Miyaura cross couplings to generate 2,3‐disubstituted heteroarenes from simple alkyne precursors in one pot. In a number of cases alkyne trans‐haloboration occurs alongside, or instead of, borylative cyclization and the factors controlling the reaction outcome are determined.  相似文献

The 2,6,8‐triaryl‐3‐iodoquinolin‐4(1H)‐ones derived from the 2,6,8‐triarylquinolin‐4(1H)‐ones were found to undergo Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling with arylboronic acids to afford the corresponding 2,3,6,8‐tetraarylquinolin‐4(1H)‐ones. Sonogashira cross‐coupling of the 2,6,8‐triaryl‐3‐iodoquinolin‐4(1H)‐ones with terminal acetylene in DMF–water (4:1, v/v) in the presence of triethylamine, on the other hand, afforded the 2‐substituted 4,6,8‐triaryl‐1H‐furo[3,2‐c]quinolines in a single‐pot operation.  相似文献

Palladium supported on silica–chitosan hybrid material was prepared and characterized using thermogravimetric and differential thermogravimetric analyses, scanning electron microscopy, and Fourier transform infrared, energy‐dispersive X‐ray and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopies. The prepared Pd‐CS@SiO2 catalyst (1 mol%) was used for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of various aryl halides and arylboronic acids in 95% ethanol at 80 °C and the Mizoroki–Heck reaction in dimethylformamide at 110 °C using K2CO3 as a base. The developed catalyst is well suitable for the 3R approach (recoverable, robust, recyclable) for cross‐coupling reactions without appreciable loss of its activity.
